Last week, the government reported that in May, 9.3 million people were jobless.

This week, the government reported there are 9.3 million job openings.

Problem solved, right?

I quote the Washington Post for entertainment purposes only. Why should it surprise anyone to learn that DC experts are stupid? I mean, they actually believe what WaPo tells them.

I don't want their apology

Sarah Hoyt ran a profanity-laced, I-told-you-so post. Reading it reminded me of Joe Paterno, who advised against touchdown celebrations. Joepa said, "when you get into the end zone, act like you've been there before."

Joe Manchin saved the Republic

This weekend, Joe Manchin showed he is not all about Joe.

This weekend, Joe Manchin said no to his party's No. 1 legislative goal. This weekend, he became a Profile in Courage, which is when a senator stands up to the mob and does the right thing.

ITEM 1: The Associated Press was in full Newspeak mode this weekend with a headline, "Manchin say he'll vote against 'partisan' Dem elections bill."

How dare he suggest that a Democrat bill is partisan!

Republicans must campaign on making Red China pay

Red China turned the world upside down last year by unleashing a virus that was just deadly enough to create a panic. Politicians knew not what to do. They shut down the economy, creating an even larger mess.

But we were saved by a wise, wily, septuagenarian federal official who knew exactly what to do.

The "Who's Zoomin' Who?" economy

Aretha Franklin not only was a good singer (the self-proclaimed Queen of Soul), but she was prophetic. In 1985, she co-wrote and recorded, "Who's Zoomin' Who?"

Fact check: TRUE.

Republicans give debate commission an ultimatum

Ronna McDaniel, chairwoman of the Republican Party, gave the Commission on Presidential Debates an ultimatum: Either become impartial or Republicans will walk.

Is Manchin replacing Trump on Democrat hate list?

Democrats are in a state of panic. They got away with lying about Russian Collusion unscathed. And Tony Fauci is more than willing to be the fall guy on covid 19. But the election rigging they did last year is in jeopardy. States are installing safeguards to thwart Democrat cheating in 2022. Nancy's election fraud bill -- HR1 -- awaits Senate approval. Only Joe Manchin stands in the way of nationalizing all elections, and turning the election outcomes over to the deep state.

Mossad chief retires. Iranian ship catches fire.

What do you get a spy who is retiring from Mossad after 28 years? A gold watch seems insufficient.

How about a steep drop in Iran's production of enriched uranium?

Or maybe the sinking of an Iranian ship.

Or maybe destroying an Iranian oil refinery.

Anti-coal Credit Suisse lawsuit may bring down billionaire WV governor

Republican Governor Jim Justice of West Virginia is up to his eyeballs in debt, which is pretty steep when you are 6-foot-7. Credit Suisse sued him for the nearly $700 million he owes them via loans it bought from the defunct Greensill Capital of Great Britain.

Meanwhile, Governor Justice sued Carter Bank of Virginia, over $368 million he owes them claiming that bank lured him into missing a loan payment and defaulting on the loan.

Why the media was quick to defend Red China and its virus

On February 17, 2020, just three weeks after covid 19 splashed onto the world scene, the Washington Post dismissed as a debunked conspiracy theory that Red China cooked the Wuhan Virus up in its biomedical lab. The Post attacked any public official who dared raise that possibility.
