Highlights of the News

ITEM 1Insider reported, "Liz Cheney says if Trump wins the 2024 GOP presidential nomination she 'won't be a Republican.'"

Too late.

Wyoming Republicans already kicked her out.

ITEM 2AP reported, "Iran’s Foreign Ministry said Sunday it summoned Britain's ambassador to protest what it described as a hostile atmosphere created by London-based Farsi language media outlets. The move comes amid violent unrest in Iran triggered by the death of a young woman in police custody.

"The state-run IRNA news agency reported the ministry also summoned Norway’s ambassador to Iran and strongly protested recent remarks by the president of the Norwegian parliament, Masud Gharahkhani.

"The death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini in custody after being detained by Iranian morality police launched unrest across Iran’s provinces and the capital of Tehran."

Don't worry about the ayatollahs. In his moolah for the mullahs program, Obama gave them plenty of money to buy the tanks needed to put the protest down. Maybe Biden will lend him some FBI agents to conduct 3 AM SWATs looking for nuclear codes.

ITEM 3Democrat Senator Joe Manchin said, "Bernie Sanders and my left-wing of the Democrat Party would never support anything that would let us be energy independent with the energy we have in our own country."

Manchin knew this but he made the deal anyway because he is just as leftwing as Bernie. Manchin may as well tell West Virginians to learn to code.

ITEM 4AP sobbed, "More than 1 million voters across 43 states have switched to the Republican Party over the last year, according to voter registration data analyzed by The Associated Press. The previously unreported number reflects a phenomenon that is playing out in virtually every region of the country — Democratic and Republican states along with cities and small towns — in the period since President Joe Biden replaced former President Donald Trump."

Scott Presler is a national treasure. He is registering Republicans one at a time in state after state like a political Johnny Appleseed.

ITEM 5Life News reported, "Joe Biden’s FBI has raided the home of a well-known pro-life advocate and arrested him in front of his crying children on a bogus charge that had already been thrown out of court. Biden’s administration is coming under fire for weaponizing the FBI and Department of Justice to target pro-life conservatives.

"Mark Houck, a father of seven, is frequently seen sidewalk counseling in front of Philadelphia abortion businesses to help women choose pro-life alternatives.

"However, because a federal law protects access to abortion businesses, Houck was charged with violating it after a minor altercation, according to his wife.

"In October 2021, Houck was counseling at an abortion business when a pro-abortion protester leading people into the building to have abortions threatened his son and yelled obscenities at him. Houck pushed the man away from his son to protect his child."

The crime-fighters have become the criminals.

ITEM 6The LA Times reported, "FBI misled judge who signed warrant for Beverly Hills seizure of $86 million in cash."

Just as they misled judges to spy on Trump.

RICO the FBI because under Obama it became a racketeer-influenced criminal organization that repeatedly lies to judges for warrants.

ITEM 7WaPo said, "Voters divided amid intense fight for control of Congress, poll finds."

(Scrolls down.) "Among registered voters, 47% say they would vote for the Republican in their House district in November while 46% say they would vote for the Democrat. That finding is about the same as it was in April. In February, Republicans held a seven-point advantage. Democrats’ standing is weaker than in 2018, when they led by seven points in national House support before winning control of the chamber."

WaPo got that one right but missed the 2014 House midterm by 9.7 points (said Democrats were up 3; they lost by 6.7 points).

WaPo missed the 2010 House midterm by 11.8 points (said Democrats were up 5; they lost by 6.8 points).

WaPo missed the 2006 House midterm by 5 points (said Democrats would win by 13; they won by 8 points).

WaPo missed the 2002 House midterm by 5.8 points (said Democrats would win by 1; they lost by 4.8 points).

WaPo missed the 1998 House midterm by 9.1 points (said Democrats would win by 8; they lost by 1.1 points).

WaPo missed the 1994 House midterm by 14.8 points (said Democrats would win by 8; they lost by 6.8.

Maybe WaPo fixed its bias problem in 2018.

But it underestimated Republican strength by 5 to 14.8 points in the previous six House midterm elections. History shows the president's party loses House midterm elections.

Based on those forecasts, WaPo's 1 point lead for Republicans translates into a win by 6 to 15.8 points for Republicans.

6.8-point wins in 1994 and 2010 translated into wins of 54 and 63 seats, respectively.

That's my hope.

ITEM 8Conservative Brief reported, "Nancy Pelosi Booed By New York City Crowd At Climate Change Concert."

They don't like fossil fuels or fossils.

ITEM 9: Jack Hough at Barron's wrote, "Stocks and bonds are tumbling. Housing has weakened. And I haven’t heard a word about nonfungible cartoon monkey tokens in maybe three months. Strategists are now turning to truly bizarre assets—two I spoke with this past week recommended purchasing long-term Treasurys. One also said to favor shares of companies that generate cash, and he wasn’t talking about Bitcoin mining.

"I don’t want to set off a panic, but financial markets appear to be careening toward normal. If left unchecked, ordinary assets could soon reach price levels that imply adequate long-term returns."

Normal means no Federal Reserve fluffing the stock market. Good.

Now to get someone in the press to admit we are in a recession.

ITEM 10: Pink News angrily said, "Netflix hit with backlash after tagging Jeffrey Dahmer series as ‘LGBTQ.’"

Dahmer was a gay man who killed and cannibalized other gay men.

What were they supposed to file the series under? Cooking shows?

ITEM 11: Cats are liberals.

Mankind is unworthy of dogs.

ITEM 12: Meanwhile, the Jews are celebrating a holiday.

It made me laugh. Maybe I will do a parody. Gentile on My Mind.

ITEM 13: Liberty Daily reported, "Wayfair’s Stock Is Down Over 80% Since They Canceled MyPillow — Now They’re Issuing More Debt."

It began the year at $195.77 a share.

On Friday it closed at $37.76.

Maybe it can merge with Bed, Bath and Beyond, another retailer that dropped MyPillow and watched its stock tank, falling 75% in the last year.

ITEM 14: Just the News reported, "Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie believes that Trump is headed down the road of 'self indictment' due to his legal battles with the DOJ."

So the Fat Man admits the deep state is just being vindictive.

Fat Man sides with the fascists.

He should move to Russia or Red China where the deep state runs everything.

I'll help him pack.

ITEM 15: Biden has $11 billion?

Crime must pay.

ITEM 16: CNN reported, "Once nicknamed 'Murderapolis,' the city that became the center of the 'Defund the Police' movement is grappling with heightened violent crime."

The aftermath of the George Floyd riots is more black people are killing black people in Minneapolis.

Not mentioned in these stories on murder are the increase in drug overdoses, which killed Floyd.

ITEM 17: People are good.

Not as good as dogs, but still good.

FINALLY, instead of teaching them this junk, how about we teach them to fly?

  2. To be fair, since George Floyd overdosed, black people are killong more people - of all races - and this isn’t confined to Murderapolis.

Meanwhile, police all over the country are terrified of being sentenced to 22 1/2 years in prison for merely being present at the overdose death of anyone of privileged pigmentation, and the tesult is they are doing as little as possible.

    3. The police are retiring in droves and moving to red states if they want to stay in policing. Seattle is at a 30 yr low for officers. New York is similar straights. Defund the police and putting them in jail for doing their jobs has consequences. Unfortunately its the poorer neighborhoods who pay the price. Its only changing now because crime is spilling over into the politicians neighborhoods.

    4. The whole talking point of defund the police has turned into a deadly reality. It's now hurting all neighborhoods. Police recruitment is going to be challenging in the coming years. As a young person, why would you even bother?

      Delete
    5. Recruiting for fire fighters is hurting as well. Other than the hostility the police face and the potential jail time for doing their jobs, other hurdles are similar. Low pay. Dangerous work. Physically demanding (more so for fire fighters). Limited advancement opportunities. Today, one can earn more at McDonalds or Walmart and have better hours and working conditions than police work or firefighting. Very tough situation.

According to the Jerusalem Post, a Texas rancher who is a devout Christian has donated seven red heifers to the Jewish religious authorities in Jerusalem. The heifers, when fully grown, will be ritually slaughtered and cremated and their ashes safeguarded under lock and key until the Temple is rebuilt, then used to purify the priests when it is required under Biblical command. The rancher did this out of his feeling of religious obligation, as the Old Testament is canonized as part of Christian Holy Scripture. And with that, I wish everyone a Leshona Tova.
