Federal judge hands Trump win, orders special master to review evidence seized from Mar-A-Lago | Just The News https://t.co/qPGRTcaDGU
— John Solomon (@jsolomonReports) September 5, 2022
Why on Earth did U.S. Magistrate Bruce Reinhart issue a warrant to raid Mar-a-Lago?
The stuff the FBI collected was not nuclear codes. It was a bunch of old magazines and newspapers. He and the FBI had no business confiscating them.
A detailed list of what the FBI claims it took shows Reinhart's was a general warrant, which the 4th Amendment bans. I suppose this is FBI standard operating procedure because although they are sworn to defend the Constitution, the agents never seem to bother following it.
The full list of items taken is here.
Overwhelmingly, what the FBI took were newspapers and magazines, either in full or just articles clipped from them.
President Trump obviously needed the 1,693 articles, newspapers and magazines to help his ghostwriter write his presidential memoirs.
Why did the FBI take them? What evidence does an old newspaper provide? That the media lied (or as we should call it now, FBI-ed)?
FBI agents also took his passports. Why? What evidence would his passports provide? We all know where he was from 20 January 2017 to 20 January 2021, and I am pretty sure the Secret Service knows where he has been since then.
FBI agents took hundreds of documents and photographs that were not classified. Again, why? If this is supposed to be a case of Donald Trump stealing and hoarding classified documents the FBI's seizure of items that are not marked classified is bogus and should warrant a criminal investigation of the 30 agents who spent 9 hours rifling through the president's personal belongings and Melania's underwear drawer.
They also took articles of clothing and gifts.
The confiscation of items totally unrelated to national security shows that far from upholding the Constitution, Biden's Boys were committing crimes. Taking Melania's panties -- or whatever articles of clothing they took -- is not an act of investigation. Confiscating personal items is intimidation.
The 4th Amendment is quite clear that the police cannot go into your home and take whatever they want.
It says, "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."
If the warrant says the FBI can take newspapers, clothing and gifts, then Congress must impeach Magistrate Reinhart.
If it doesn't, the 30 agents in the raid must be suspended without pay and prosecuted.
The FBI was always shady. The constitutionality of the bureau was never clear.
J. Edgar Hoover set it up not to necessarily solve crimes but to garner publicity and get the goods on the politicians in Washington.
The tradition continues today. The FBI used facial recognition technology to hunt down and harass Trump supporters who dared protest at the Capitol.
This raid is all too typical. They did the same thing to Richard Jewell 26 years ago when they tried to frame him for the Atlanta Olympics bombing. He was a hero who saved hundreds of lives and the FBI treated him like shit.
The president is only the latest to suffer from the bureau bullies. The list of items confiscated shows the biggest threat to domestic tranquility is spelled F-B-I.
Richard Jewell 26 years ago when they tried to frame him for the Atlanta Olympics bombing. He was a hero who saved hundreds of lives and the FBI treated him like shit.""
ReplyDeleteThe media treated him worse than the FBI. Clint Eastwood made a movie about it. Jewell won several lawsuits against the media in the aftermath.
The fbi was not the only guilty party in the Jewell mess. The media played a big part in the frame. Maybe someone will make a movie about the current fbi tyranny. They have a long list of topics: Anthrax investigation, Ruby Ridge, Waco, Russian collusion, laptop from hell, FJB rape accusers, Whitey Bulger fiasco, ABSCAM, that senator from Alaska BS. And dont forget all the mass shootings where the perp was on their radar.

DeleteThrough a relative of the victim, I was in contact with a guy wounded in Las Vegas. A spent bullet after traveling some distance penetrated a car door and lodged in his leg. It was a minor wound, he drove himself to the hospital to have the bullet removed. I asked if we could get a pictures of the hole in the car door and one with a dowel rod through the holes. Along with the location of the car, it would give a good indication of where the bullet came from. Punch line: The FBI instantly had the car repaired free of charge and returned with no holes.
DeleteCops are even worse than FBI:
ReplyDelete"Every day in Tennessee and across the country, citizens are being stopped, searched and seized solely on the power of three words: I smell marijuana.
Under the law in Tennessee and a host of other states, a law enforcer’s claim of smelling cannabis trumps constitutional protections against invasion of privacy and unreasonable search or seizure. A cop who claims to smell marijuana can, without any evidence or search warrant, search a citizen’s belongings and vehicle.
“It’s a search for free card,” Knox County Public Defender Eric Lutton said.https://tennesseelookout.com/2022/05/16/12462/
Someone I know, who is completely legally using medical marijuana, was pulled over after leaving her neighborhood. Her car doesn’t smell of marijuana, but she believes a neighbor smelled it while she was outside, smoking, and reported her. It’s very possible the neighbor was even watching for her to leave her home, because the cops were waiting when she got out to the street.
DeleteStupid thing was, as the cops were speaking to her, one of them spotted her marijuana card on the seat, where she had put it in order to pull out her license.
Yet, in the city nearest to her, shootings occur on a regular basis, and the cops had to have known she’s a disabled person.
Bass ackwards, this whole thing.
Never mind, he doesn't even have to smell it himself, if his dog says it smelled it, that's enough to stomp all over your life.
DeleteSeriously - can a dog testify in court ? If a cop can say a dog told him there are drugs in my car, can I claim the dog told me he's a lying sack of shit ?!?!
About 45 years ago a New Jersey state trooper stopped a car during the dark hours of the morning and claimed he saw a single marijuana seed on the rear floor carpet of an out-of-state driver's car. This gave him justification to order the trunk opened where he found a stash of weed. Just one tiny seed. Believe it? I didn't.
DeleteThe FBI should be disbanded. At the very least, Wray should be fired and so should high-ranking FBIers. They're now a modern-day Stasi that has become the police wing of the Democrats. Shocking. I don't know what else to say. It seems almost impossible to fight back against them.
ReplyDeleteGet rid of the fascist demmunist FBI, and retain only Levi the wonder dog, (Jessie), Sue the deaf, lip-reading agent, (Deanne Bray), and Jack Hudson, (Yannick Brisson).
DeleteThat would be a very good start.
LuAnn, They should be arrested, tried, and imprisoned, not fired. That's our problem. We never go for the jugular like the Democrats do.
DeleteYes. It is turning out just like all the shoplifting, assaults, rapes, and murders. No cash bail, no jail time so they just keep at it. Same with these crooked and unlawful agencies. There needs to some serious consequences to even make a dent in this mess.
DeleteI think it was Louis Freeh who once said, It's better to be strong and wrong than weak and right. The FBI should have been defunded and disbanded a long time ago.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!
DeleteThe mistake was allowing the FBI enforcement and arrest powers. They were to act as consultants and expert forensic investigators on loan to the lawful enforcement powers that be.
ReplyDeleteThe ambush of John Dillinger was the birth of the modern FBI.
Perfect solution! Remove their enforcement powers and simply be a source for local law enforcement.
DeleteYes but J. Edgar Hoover was its crossdressing daddy.
DeleteTheir ability to gather evidence then hide or destroy it should not be underestimated- the FBlie should be defunded and drained, and the same for the SES which allows the predator class to be reassigned or if fired, to go and take preference for job openings from the people who are not corrupt/swamp.
DeleteYes, just give state AGs the authority to bring criminal charges in federal courts for violation of federal laws. No FBI or DOJ needed.
Delete“ If the warrant says the FBI can take newspapers, clothing and gifts, then Congress must impeach Magistrate Reinhart.”
ReplyDeleteReinhart is not an Article III judge. He was hired by Article III judges in his District. He can and should be FIRED!
Ah yes, the FBLie
ReplyDeleteThey are trying to intimidate PDJT (won’t work), attorneys that are thinking of working on his behalf (semi-working) and us (not working).
ReplyDeleteThis is a long battle and I hope it ends with the dismantling of the FBI and humiliation of their upper level personnel.
Humiliation? Well, I guess being hung from the nearest lamppost is humiliating. For a few seconds before the rope tightens, I suppose.
DeleteEN2 SS
Like Al Capone's vault.
ReplyDeleteFBI-ed
I love it.
They are trying to 'erase' him as president. I think you are on to something about President Trumps memoirs, and I also think the items that the FBI took are going to mysteriously disappear or get badly damaged so that it will become very difficult to put together a Presidential Library.
ReplyDeleteI'd guess more than a few of us here grew up in the 60's and 70's when Efrem Zimbalist Jr. starred in "The FBI". It sure was a rosy picture they painted for the impression ably young. Reality doesn't align very closely Hollywood though.
ReplyDeleteDon't use the word "woke" to describe the FBI, the Democrats or anyone else who live by Karl's words. They aren't "woke", they are Marxists. The Marxist FBI.
ReplyDeleteSpot on!
DeleteHere is a little protest song against the regime https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPdpXrWIJZw
ReplyDeleteWait til Trump releases the videos of a bunch of FBI perverts sniffing Melanie’s panties. They are truly perverted!
ReplyDeleteHer name is Melania, not Melanie. Pleast try to keep up.
Delete.
I posted a link to this on facebook, oddly enough facebook's Ministry Of Truth blocked it out so no one can see it.
ReplyDeleteThey've done that to me, too.
Delete"Why on Earth did U.S. Magistrate Bruce Reinhart issue a warrant to raid Mar-a-Lago?" you ask? Because he wanted to cover himself as being a member of the Epstein Lolita Club.
ReplyDeleteYour article is not helpful. I support the DOJ, FBI agents and government’s efforts.
ReplyDeleteI can't help but wonder whether your last name begins with W.
Delete“ The FBI was always shady. The constitutionality of the bureau was never clear. ”
ReplyDeleteThe Constitution is crystal clear on this. Anything not listed on the “specified powers” is, under the 10th Amendment, reserved for the States.
Congress is not granted authority to create a national police force. Only Customs, that’s it.
If any FBI agent ever took their Oath seriously, they would have denounced the very existence of the FBI as the blatant violation of the Constitution that it is.
Top Secret magazines? I never would have known...
ReplyDeletehttps://www.wolfgangs.com/vintage-magazines/top-secret/vintage-magazine/OMS793146.html?st=MAG
DeleteI may be wrong, since I've never heard of a magistrate being removed, but I seriously doubt that they must be impeached; I think they can simply be fired. They are not "judges" as described in Article III of the Constitution. For example, they are not nominated by the president or confirmed by the Senate. They are merely assistants to "real" federal judges, hired by the individual circuits, who are usually assigned routine duties. The word "judge" was not even appended to the office of magistrate till 1990 - for no other reason than to make magistrates seem more important.
ReplyDeleteMagistrates have the specific power, by statute, to issue search warrants. But I find it unusual that a mere magistrate, rather that an Article III judge, would be assigned the approval of a warrant to search the entire home of a former president, and presumably (assuming the FBI agents did not overstep their authority) seize anything in that home. Did the Justice Dept. wait until they knew a known Trump hater like Reinhard was the magistrate assigned to that day's requests for search and seizure warrants? Just askin'.
Did you miss the second page where it states there were dozens of "CLASSIFIED" folders, both containing classified information and *EMPTY* classified folders?
ReplyDeleteWhere the fuck did Trump put the information that was IN those classified folders?
Jesus Christ, it's idiots like you that need the shit slapped out of you for your absolutely asinine posts.
LOL. Empty folders are a metaphor for this whole clusterfuck. I like how angry you are over this. No indictment. No perpwalk. You have invested the last 6 years convincing yourself that Trump is evil while ignoring Hillary's emails and Hunter's laptop.
DeleteYou and I are old enough to remember how Daniel Ellsberg was celebrated as a national hero for leaking classified documents to the New York Times, which published them all without a second thought. Obviously, this commenter is much younger. As far as I know, Ellsberg wasn't the president at the time, and thus didn't have the power to decide what is and isn't classified.
DeleteHow come he had boxes with documents marked "Classified", "Confidential", "Top Secret", "Government documents" according to the link you give...are you ignoring that?
ReplyDeleteI read the whole thing. Empty folders. And remember, the FBI did not allow anyone to witness their rummaging through his personal belongings.
DeleteThis was a bureaucratic bully trying to criminalize a president for taking his papers home.
Don: Here's the problem with your response: you're still ignoring the issue that he's not supposed to have ANY of the government docs, classified, top secret or not. And since the classified stuff was mixed with the other things (in random boxes), they took it all. And there were classified docs and top secret docs. Listed in the doc you linked to. Yes, there were also 43 empty folders marked CLASSIFIED, and I think it's important to find out what was in those folders and where it all went.
DeleteHe's the FORMER President. All of those records belong to US, the people. He has no right to have them. Period. Reality Winner took home one (ONE) page of classified information and then spent years in prison for doing it.
Do you not believe in the law?
If the docs were no longer classified, where is the documentation that had to be filed to declassify them?
You call yourself a journalist, but everything you write in here is opinion. You ignore inconvenient facts, and broadcast TFG's BS as truth. You are no better than the USSR's Pravda.
LOL
DeleteIt's a blog. Everything here is an opinion.
Don't like my comments, read something else.
By the way, every president is allowed to take home his papers, including 1,693 newspapers and articles
