Party leaders seldom openly endorse in primary races. They let the rank-and-file sort it out. Occasionally an ex-president will publicly endorse a friend. And Dick Cheney's endorsement of his daughter is understandable, especially considering what a bitter old man he has become.
But Donald John Trump changed all that. He's endorsed not tens of candidates but hundreds of them
And they are winning.
AP reported, "In all, nearly 180 Trump-endorsed candidates up and down the ballot have won their primaries since May while fewer than 20 have lost."
That is outstanding.
Trump and his voters are thinning the herd of weaklings who cower to Democrats. This will make for a stronger party that finally will fulfill campaign promises.
President Trump has been under siege by the FBI for 7 years. The bureau spied on him for Obama. The FBI investigated his friends and political allies. The FBI held a pre-dawn raid (complete with a CNN film crew) to arrest Roger Stone.
AP now worries that the latest abuse of power by the FBI -- its 9-hour raid on Mar-a-Lago -- will help him politically.
Yep.
AP wrote, "Facing mounting legal vulnerabilities and considering another presidential run, he needs support from the party to maintain his political career. But, whether they like it or not, many in the party also need Trump, whose endorsement has proven crucial for those seeking to advance to the November ballot."
Trump and his supporters need people who won't knife him in the back like Liz the Lizard and 9 other House Republicans did when they voted to impeach him.
No more Paul Ryans who refuse to fund the wall or otherwise serve the nation. Ryan punked out to get Nancy elected Speaker.
Trump is winning the primaries.
Expect the Republican Establishment to do everything it can to help Democrats win in the fall. There was a reason why Nate Silver has flipped from conceding the Senate to Republicans to saying Democrats have a 58% chance of keeping the senate. The fix is in.
Remember, the RINO crowd resented and tried to thwart the Tea Party.

Americans need to seriously consider “doing unto demoncrats and rinos, as they have done unto America”. Good and hard, rinse and repeat.

The talk is if Republicans take the House, Kevin McCarthy will be elected speaker.
Problem is, doesn't it look like McCarthy will be more like Ryan and less like Gingrich?
