Highlights of the News

ITEM 1: Jane Goodall told WEF (a collection of Dr. Evils) that we must reduce the world's population by 90%.

Kill 7 billion people but save the gorillas.

She is a lunatic.

ITEM 2: KDFW reported, "Signs saying 'In God We Trust' will now hang in Carroll ISD schools in Texas after being donated by a locally-owned wireless provider.

"Patriot Mobile, which labels itself a Christian conservative wireless provider, donated the signs to the Carroll Independent School District and they will now be hung in CISD schools.

"According to a state law passed in 2021, schools are required to display signs or posters bearing the national motto in a conspicuous place provided that the signs were donated to the school or bought with private donations."

That's nice.

But the story said, "Anya Kushwaha, told NBC 5 the law is a disturbing dissolution between the separation of church and state."

We need a separation of atheism and state.

ITEM 3AP reported, "Former Vice President Mike Pence on Wednesday implored fellow Republicans to stop lashing out at the FBI over the search of Donald Trump’s Florida home and denounced calls by some of the former president’s allies to defund the FBI, saying that was just as wrong as a push by Democratic activists to shift money from police."

You know what would change his mind? An arrest in a pre-dawn raid televised live on CNN.

ITEM 4: Breitbart reported, "Democrat Sen. Mark Kelly is conspicuously avoiding any mention of his staunch gun control advocacy as he asks Arizona voters to support his bid for reelection.

"Kelly cofounded the gun control group Americans for Responsible Solutions with his wife Gabby Giffords less than a month after the Sandy Hook Elementary School attack. That gun control group morphed into Giffords, a gun control outlet which grades states on the stringency of their gun control and pushes for the adoption of further restrictions at the state and federal level."

So I checked out his ranking for the state of Arizona.

An F.

He gave California an A. Maybe instead of electing a third senator for California, Arizonans should elect someone who likes Arizona.

ITEM 5: AP reported, "Target profit plunges nearly 90% after heavy discounts to clear inventory."

Many of those discounts were of the five-finger variety as Target supports BLM and defunding the police.

When you allow men in skirts to to use the ladies room, women shop elsewhere.

ITEM 6: Summit News reported, "Axios reports that Jane Lubchenco, the deputy director for climate and environment at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, has been pulled up by the NAS for editing a paper later found to contain technical errors, as well as having worked with the scientists involved in it, one of which turned out to be her brother-in law."

Home cooking.

Did you expect ethical behavior from a Biden official? That's like expecting a rooster to lay eggs.

ITEM 7: Breitbart reported, "Rep. Liz Cheney’s (R-WY) net worth ballooned from an estimated $7 million when she first took office in 2017 to possibly more than $44 million in 2020, according to analysis from the Center for Responsive Politics and her most recent financial disclosure forms.

"Depending on where she falls in the ranges in her latest financial disclosure forms, that could represent as much as a six-fold increase in her net worth in just a few short years in Congress -- a massive boom for an already -- independently wealthy political scion of the powerful Cheney family which counts among its most powerful her father, former Vice President of the United States Dick Cheney."

AOC's role model.

ITEM 8: Just the News reported, "The 9/11 museum in New York City will close its doors Wednesday, just weeks shy of the 21st anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks, due to financial struggles stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Senior administrators told the New York Post that revenue loss from its pandemic closings in 2020 and 2021 had forced the shutdown."

Never forget but City Hall has.

Surely a city with a $100 billion-a-year budget can underwrite this museum.

ITEM 9: Facebook (Meta) bragged, "In recent years, Meta has developed a comprehensive approach to how elections play out on our platforms. With the 2022 US midterms on the horizon, we are setting out how our approach applies in this election cycle, which is largely consistent with the policies and safeguards we had in place during the 2020 US Presidential election."

Social media is how the government now controls speech.

ITEM 10: Just the News reported, "Vote-by-mail applications for the Nov. 8 general election opened Wednesday, along with the new ability to permanently request mail-in ballots.

"All registered Illinois voters are eligible to vote by mail due to a new state law allowing voters to tell their election authority they permanently want to receive mail-in ballots.

"Illinoisans looking to vote by mail can apply online."

Democrats sowed the seeds for this year's crops.

Republicans in Illinois had better harvest those ballots.

ITEM 11: WINK TV reported, "A Charlotte County (Florida) teacher has been arrested for concealing a missing teen inside her Port Charlotte home.

"The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office says it has arrested Kelly Simpson, 31, for interfering with the custody of a minor.

"Deputies say an investigation into a child who was reported missing by their parents on August 12 led them to Simpson’s home.

"The sheriff’s office says Simpson picked up the minor from an unknown location and hid him in her home. They say she knew that he had been reported missing and endangered.

"A report from the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office says Simpson lied to them about the teen being in her home when he should have been at school."

Is kidnaping too harsh a term?

ITEM 12: NBC reported, "Sex between men, not skin contact, is fueling monkeypox, new research suggests."

Whoa.

NBC told the truth about monkeypox. It is a VD.

ITEM 13: KUOW-TV reported, "'Another kind of homophobia:' Critics say King County's monkeypox vaccine criteria are intrusive."

King County (Seattle) has a limited supply of vaccines.

The story said, "In King County, those currently eligible for the vaccine include a subset of men or transgender people who have sex with men: such as those who’ve had more than 10 sexual partners in the past three months, those who’ve used meth in the past month, or who meet certain other criteria. People who’ve had sexual or close contact with someone who tested positive for monkeypox can also get the vaccine.

"The way those eligibility requirements are being rolled out might actually be creating problems, said Bekah Telew, the co-executive director of Seattle’s LGBTQ+ Center.

"That’s because, when folks come in for a vaccine, the provider asks them to sign paperwork verifying their eligibility — that they’ve had 10 sexual partners in the past three months, for example, or that they’ve had syphilis or gonorrhea in the past year."

10 sex partners in the past 3 months???

It isn't monkeypox. It is Slutpox.

ITEM 14Politico reported, "Attacking Crimea is fair game for Ukraine — and it has America’s support to hit the Russians there.

"Kyiv was behind the three explosions this past week on the Russian-annexed peninsula, per a CNN-obtained Ukrainian government document, including a large blast at Saki airbase that destroyed several of Moscow’s warplanes."

The escalation begins.

It's like the Spanish Civil War, which is not a good sign.

WHY THE LORD LETS MEN LIVE PAST 50:

Saved by a good guy with big hands.

ITEM 15: The New York Post reported, "Transgender student Grant Sikes rejected from every University of Alabama sorority."

Roll Tide.

ITEM 16: We're not gonna take it.

Conservatives no longer are invertebrates.

    3. I use the churchkey but use the flat end (the one for opening bottles) and lift just enough to break the seal. Otherwise, turn the jar upside down, and hit the lid on the counter. You have to keep the surface of the lid parallel to the surface of the counter. Hit it a couple times, this will usually break the seal also. Learned that one from my wife :)

No ballot printing, no postage, no poll workers to open and count ballots, just record every registered voter as a vote for all Democrats. Nope, no option for voting the straight Republican ticket.

  19. I am the author or the Packaging Machinery Handbook, available on Amazon.

In that book I explain how vacuum capping works as well as most other types of packaging.

The cap has a tacky lining. As the jar is filled, it is also steamed. When the cap is applied, the steam heats the seal. As the steam condenses it forms a vacuum pulling the seal down onto the glass, bonding it together. The threads do very little to keep the lid closed.

To open, hold the jar sideways, slam the bottom with the palm of your hand. The hydraulic shock (water hammer in your household plumbing) breaks the seal loose. Once you do that, even a 6 year old child can open it.

    You are welcome.
