Remember the Find the Duck game? He found it.
ITEM 1: The Wall Street Journal editorialized, "Was the Federal Bureau of Investigation justified in searching Donald Trump’s residence at Mar-a-Lago? The judge who issued the warrant for Mar-a-Lago has signaled that he is likely to release a redacted version of the affidavit supporting it. But the warrant itself suggests the answer is likely no—the FBI had no legally valid cause for the raid."
Bravo.
The once-conservative newspaper finally spoke truth to power.
The rest of the press assumes the FBI is correct.
Was it correct when it lied and spied on Donald John Trump?
Was it correct when it let Hillary walk despite sending 33,000 emails that contained classified material?
Was it correct when it sat on Hunter's laptop?
They say all that is necessary for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing. We will never know if that is true in this case because the press is run by evil people.
WSJ decided to quit being evil for one day. May this instill a return to its roots as America needs journalists to help battle the tyranny in Washington.
Fox, on the other hand, defended the Fascist Bureau of Instigation.
I guess it is the news channel for Occupy Democrats.
ITEM 2: CNBC reported, "President Donald Trump in a new lawsuit Monday is asking that a federal judge appoint a special watchdog to review documents seized from his Florida home as part of a criminal investigation of the removal of White House records when he left office in January 2021.
"Trump’s lawsuit, which suggests the Aug. 8 FBI raid was politically motivated, also asks that the Department of Justice be blocked from 'further review of seized materials' from his Mar-a-Lago residence until the so-called special master is appointed to review the documents.
"Special masters are appointed in criminal cases when there is a concern that some material seized by authorities should not be viewed by investigators because it is protected by attorney-client privilege or other factors that weigh against it being used in a prosecution.
"Special masters were appointed to review materials seized in federal criminal probes of two of Trump’s former personal attorneys, Michael Cohen and Rudy Giuliani.
"Trump’s suit in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida accuses the federal government of violating his Fourth Amendment right against unreasonable searches and seizures with the raid, which is believed to be the first time the home of a former president was searched in connection with a criminal case."
No man is above the law, true, but no man is beneath it either.
The 4th Amendment protects all Americans.
Even Donald Trump.
ITEM 3: The New York Post reported, "Mystery virus kills dozens of dogs — mostly puppies — in Michigan."
Let's call it Fauci Pox because he used your money to fund the torture of beagles.
By the way, he announced he will retire in December after 40 years of failing to stop the spread of AIDS. On his watch, various VDs revived themselves even as he pushed wearing condoms.
ITEM 4: Reuters reported, "Biden’s administration will press ahead with talks on releasing billions of dollars in Afghanistan’s foreign-held assets despite the late al Qaeda leader’s presence in Kabul and foot-dragging by the Taliban and Afghan central bank, according to three sources with knowledge of the situation.
"The decision to pursue the initiative to help stabilize Afghanistan’s collapsed economy underscores growing concern in Washington over a humanitarian crisis as the United Nations warns that nearly half the country’s 40 million people face acute hunger as winter approaches.
"At the core of the U.S.-led effort, as Reuters reported last month, is a plan to transfer billions in foreign-held Afghan central bank assets into a proposed Swiss-based trust fund. Disbursements would be made with the help of an international board and bypass the Taliban, many of whose leaders are under U.S. and U.N. sanctions."
He opposed killing Osama bin Laden.
He gave Afghanistan back to the Taliban.
He left $83 billion worth of military equipment behind.
He is evil. Simply evil.
ITEM 5: AP reported, "College students return to campus without access to abortion."
If only there were a pill you could take each day to avoid pregnancy.
ITEM 6: Just the News reported, "Another slew of whistleblowers have come forward with misconduct claims against the FBI following the Bureau's raid on former President Donald Trump's Florida estate.
"FBI field offices in Miami, Salt Lake City, Buffalo and Newark face accusations that their upper management coerced agents to sign false affidavits, inflated terrorism caseloads to improve their apparent performance, engaged in illicit sexual activities, or concealed those of others, according to the Washington Times."
Sex and drugs and government pensions.
ITEM 7: I was going to get around to saying this.
Imagine how many years the victim lost. pic.twitter.com/sT0jjdYPTO
— 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐠 🏳️🌈 (@CasuallyGreg) August 21, 2022
That's a sly way of taking credit for someone else's work.
ITEM 8: AP reported, "A military veteran pleaded guilty in federal court Monday to faking his own death off the Alabama coast to try to avoid sexual abuse charges in Mississippi.
"Jacob Blair Scott pleaded guilty to charges of sending a false distress call that led to a Coast Guard search; illegally shipping weapons across state lines and giving false information, according to court records.
"A federal judge will sentence Scott in November. He was already sentenced to serve 85 years in prison in Mississippi after he was convicted of sexually assaulting a girl and impregnating her when he was 40 and she was 14."
I am not sure what his veteran status has to do with this story, but it is AP and frequently their stories contain non sequiturs.
ITEM 9: Fox reported, "Atlanta police have identified the man arrested last week after allegedly spray-painting swastikas on the city's rainbow crosswalks that honor the gay community.
"Police identified Jonah Sampson, 30, as the man who allegedly spray-painted swastikas on Atlanta’s Midtown rainbow crosswalks. Authorities believe he is also responsible for graffiti that was found on a monument at the Federal Reserve Building, Fox 5 reported.
"Sampson was arrested in Atlanta on Friday outside his apartment after a roughly five-hour standoff with a SWAT team."
You can vandalize pregnancy centers and churches.
But spray paint a swastika on a rainbow colored crosswalk and they send in the armored vehicles.
Thanks for proving his point.
ITEM 10: AP reported, "The far-right candidate who aspires to be Italy’s first female leader came under fire Monday from opponents for posting a pixelized video that purports to show a woman being raped by an asylum-seeker.
"Giorgia Meloni, the leader of the Brothers of Italy party that has neo-fascist roots, on Sunday evening reposted a video on Twitter from an Italian news site that was taken by a witness from a window overlooking the street. The woman, identified as Ukrainian, can be heard yelling in distress. A 27-year-old asylum-seeker from Guinea has been arrested in the sexual assault, according to Italian media reports."
The story also said, "Her main opponent in the Sept. 25 vote, Democratic Party leader Enrico Letta, countered in a radio interview that reposting the video went beyond 'the bounds of dignity and decency.'"
So AP and the Democratic Party are more concerned about the video than the actual rape.
ITEM 11: CNN reported, "White House leaning toward canceling $10,000 in student loan debt for borrowers who make less than $125,000."
So Biden gets to spend $32 billion without congressional approval.
Republicans need to sue and stop this madness.
ITEM 12: Michigan News Source reported, "Ford Motor Co. is cutting 3,000 white-collar jobs. The automaker said it wants to lower costs as it makes the transition from internal combustion to electric vehicles."
Tell me again how alternate energy creates jobs.
Automakers know EV will kill their industry. That's the government's plan.
ITEM 13: CNBC reported, "50% of employers expect job cuts, survey finds. Here’s how to prepare for a potential layoff."
The word recession does not appear in the story.
Amazing.
ITEM 14: The New Right Network reported, "A top staffer for Democratic New York Rep. Jerry Nadler has been violating federal law by providing legal services to the congressman’s campaign and leadership PAC, a watchdog alleged in an ethics complaint Monday obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.
"Robert Gottheim is the district director for Nadler’s office and between 2019 and 2021 he received hundreds of thousands in pay to qualify as a senior staffer. However, the fact that Gottheim has also been paid for legal services by Nadler’s campaign and PAC is illegal since senior staff are barred from being paid through a role involving a 'fiduciary relationship, including the practice of law,' Americans for Public Trust, a watchdog group, alleged in a complaint to the Office of Congressional Ethics."
Nadler voted to impeach Trump over a phone call to Zelensky, who refused to investigate Biden. So far, Zelensky has raked in $54 billion from Biden and Congress. Well played.
ITEM 15: HuffPost reported, "Karl Rove: Trump Legal Woes Are 'Dampening Republican Enthusiasm.'"
The FBI raid dampened enthusiasm???
I am convinced that Bush won despite the Boy Genius.
4 - MAGA for Xiden - making Afghanistan great again. And Iran.
ReplyDeleteDid the US learn anything in Afghanistan? Former NATO assistant secretary general says billions was spent building wrong type of military and that D.C. was more interested in getting presidents re-elected than telling the truth, in scathing report

👍👍👍👏👏👏
DeleteIf in doubt, always refer to Smedley Butler
DeleteRandy says: Item 1: “The judge who issued the warrant for Mar-a-Lago has signaled that he is likely to release a redacted version of the affidavit supporting it.” I have to wonder why this Trump-hating judge will allow the affidavit to be made public. Does he want the public to dismiss the role he played in this unconstitutional fiasco? Does he really think releasing “part” of the document he relied on to issue the warrant will excuse him? Won’t work. Everybody knows it was a party-line hit job, and he was a major player in that party.
ReplyDeleteIt's all for show, Randy.
DeleteReleasing the 'warrent' says, "See? We're being Transparent (whatever the hell That's supposed to mean) with everybody about the raid."
And there's going to be so much blacked out 'redactions' to say, "See? This shit is So important we can't show you what it is."
Puppet theater for the sombulant masses.

P.S. Nice looking pup. A little training will turn her into a fine retriever.
P.P.S. FJB
LG, my grandad and dad both raised bird dogs, the shorthaired pointers. They were beautiful dogs. Loved watching them hunt with my granddad, his brothers and my dad. He won awards a long time ago. Fine retriever indeed.
DeleteYeah, I expect the release and subsequent redactions are a CYA moment for the judge and FBI since this was such a boondoggle.
~TJ
Supposedly the affidavit must provide evidence of a crime to obtain a warrant. My guess is that the affidavit release will "suggest" a crime (or wish a crime). When people say where's the crime evidence, the colluding judge and others will say that they had to redact some stuff...
Delete7 - the more that maroon talks, the worse he sounds. Without a script, he is clueless. Lock him up.
ReplyDelete8 - the comment on in being a veteran is to put all veterans in the same category - unhinged, unstable and dangerous.
ReplyDelete9 - they set his bail at $77,000. Murderers and assaulters get out on their own recognizance these days. But don’t bash gays. A mega-crime.
ReplyDelete14 - I so want the nadless Nadler to lose his primary race.
ReplyDeleteMe too!
Delete15 - when Karl Rove speaks, my enthusiasm is dampened.
ReplyDeleteHaving not listened to Hannity for at least 12 years, is he still sucking on Rove’s toes and calling him “the architect”.
I didn't know he was still around. I turned all the tv media off six years ago...except for Gutfeld.
DeleteI keep the TV tuned to Fox after Tucker Carlson, cause Newt Gingrich frequently appears as a guest on the next show. Otherwise, I tune it out. Who is that chunky Irish guy anyway? He just drones on and on.
DeleteBush Won because he was the Slightly better candidate.
Delete1. If there is no legal justification in a search warrant, that means no probable cause, and a judge signed it, the judge is on the hook for civil rights violations and possibly criminal charges just as equally as law enforcement if not more so.
ReplyDeleteOr, at least that’s how it’s supposed to work.
As much as it pains me to say this, judges have absolute immunity from civil liability. This is a quote from a case dealing with the issue: "Judges are shielded with absolute immunity from suits for money damages based on their judicial action. [Mireles v. Waco, 502 U.S. 9, 9-10, 112 S. Ct. 286, 116 L. Ed. 2d 9 (1991); Forrester v. White, 484 U.S. 219, 225-26, 108 S. Ct. 538, 98 L. Ed. 2d 555 (1988).] Judicial immunity also bars suits that are brought under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. "There are two exceptions to absolute judicial immunity: (1) when the judge's actions are taken outside his role as a judge, i.e., entirely non-judicial conduct, or (2) when the judge's actions are taken in the complete absence of jurisdiction." [*** See also Mireles, 502 U.S. at 11-13; Stein, 520 F.3d at 1195 ([A]n act taken in excess of a court's jurisdiction is not to be confused with an act taken in the complete absence of all jurisdiction.).] . . . . . . . . . . . "[T]he necessary inquiry in determining whether a defendant judge is immune from suit is whether at the time he took the challenged action he had jurisdiction over the subject matter before him." [Stump v. Sparkman, 435 U.S. 349, 98 S. Ct. 1099, 55 L. Ed. 2d 331 (1978).]
DeleteThere may well be criminal liability, however.
DeleteRandy says: Plus recall and removal.
Deletefailing to stop the spread of AIDS. ""
ReplyDeleteThere is no such thing as AIDS and the HIV virus is harmless.
Fauci ran the AIDS scam and he ran the COVID scam.
Read all about it in Robert Kennedy Jr book
"The Real Anthony Fauci"
See also the documentary "House of Numbers" (2009), available on YouTube. During the height of the AIDS panic, Fauci pushed toxic drugs as a remedy based on diagnostic tests proven to be deeply flawed.
DeleteItem 11: "Republicans need to sue and stop this madness". Good one Don. Republicans won't say a word about "Disinformation" Boards, incarcerated citizens in jail for 19 months for "parading", weaponizing the IRS, yada, yada, yada. What makes anyone think they'll say Boo about this?
ReplyDeleteitem#12 - the end goal is to destroy the middle class, and to do that you have to destroy the jobs that provide upward mobility into the middle/upper class - Union Jobs (except for public sector unions and service job unions), manufacturing, energy, medicine, etc. so that you end up with a two-tier society of serfs and overlords. As long as government jobs are the most stable, well compensated, and with the best benefits government will continue to grow, and we know the dominant ideology of government is lefty. I sincerely hope this process can be forestalled and reversed.
ReplyDeleteAmerican currently living in Italy here, just a quick comment on Giorgia Meloni, who is anything but fascist and the others who are basically all commies.
ReplyDeleteRandy says: Even if she wins, I think it’s too late to save the country. Italy has mortgaged its future to China for their Belt and Road infrastructure initiative. Italy is basically broke from decades of fiscal mismanagement and progressive social programs, so when China’s loans come due, Italy will have no choice but to cede valuable assets like ports and rail lines to the CCP.
DeleteTo the media, Anyone to the right of Nancy Pelosi is a fascist.
DeleteJust like they did with Africa. If I remember right, China owns the only international airport in Uganda ~ which is still being denied and everyone says its in reconstruction.... They also own the only chip factory outside of Taiwan and China. The Brits let it go belly up after China made a loan to them. So guess who owns it now.

The CCP makes Shylock look like George Bailey.
DeletePortia says: Yeah, but Red China demands way more than “a pound of flesh.” They will possess 100% in due time. No consequences and no mercy.
Delete[Fox] is the news channel for Occupy Democrats.
ReplyDeletePaul Ryan is one of the three Board members at Fox. Further, it is now clear that the TrumpHaters will be running DeSantis against Trump in the primaries. Watch for Hannity to switch allegiance.
Will it be to split the MAGA vote or is DeSantis really a RINO?
Delete#12... Did I miss it? When did congress mandate that auto manufacturers make, or only make, EV's? Anyone with a lick of common sense and intelligence knows that with the current state of battery technology and the condition of our electrical grid and generation, that EV's are just plain stupid.
ReplyDeleteRandy says: I was talking to a neighbor who looked into buying an EV. Everyone knows that the purchase price of EVs is much greater than equivalent IC (internal combustion) cars, but he pointed out that insurance for EVs is through the roof. Not only are the cars more expensive to repair, but an electrical fire means a total loss, and even a minor accident that damages the battery bank would cost them $20K for a set of new batteries. Much more liability for insurance companies = much higher premiums.
DeleteI have an expensive EV which is an expensive paperweight. It is only good for city driving. I drove it out of town the first and last time.Electrify America says they can charge the car in 30m. Most stations are located at Walmart (surprise) only 4-8 chargers. Plug in machine crashes. Call company and they reboot remotely. 5 min later you start charge. 1 hour later you're done. Have to repeat on trip back. BTW, where is the best place to get robbed? Gas stations and you're usually there for 5min. Now you will be stuck at Walmart for 1 hour with your expensive EV. Ill drive my gas car until I cant afford it.
DeleteI might consider buying ev when I reach the point in my life where I will never go more than 100 miles from home so I can get back.
Delete5 - I'm so old I remember when people went to college for an education.
ReplyDeleteSingle Mom - So have you picked a college yet?

9 - "the city's rainbow crosswalks that honor the gay community"
Weird, I can't find any crosswalks in Atlanta that honor the straight community. Remember how it was "love is love" and they just want to get married like everyone else! Now we're honoring degeneracy. The parallels to the end of the Roman Empire are stunning. I wonder how God will destroy this evil empire. Looks like plagues and starvation are leading the pack with nuclear winter not far behind.
10 - So only the "far right" is against rape. Sign me up!
12 - "Automakers know EV will kill their industry. That's the government's plan."
Sure, that's the government's plan. Apparently the automakers plan is to try and make money from EVs. That's not a very good plan.
Mentally disabled people to the automakers, "Wow, you're dumb."
15 - The only thing dampening Republican enthusiasm is RINOs like Rove and McConnell. If there was some way we could get rid of these people and replace them with people who actually wanted to help Americans, Republican enthusiasm would be thru the roof. Alas, most voters now realize the Republican party exists solely to provide cover for the Democrats while they destroy the country. The coming Civil War/Revolution is gonna be lit!
Randy says: The crosswalks in Atlanta honor either gays or blacks. If it’s not rainbow-colored, it’s black. Bring Atlanta, there are many more black crosswalks than gay crosswalks.
DeleteThe victories of MAGA candidates in Republican primaries are a sign that the times, they are a-changin'.

ReplyDelete15. That asshole was the one responsible for w's 15 rating by the end of his 2nd term. w was in the high 80's after his response to 911. The democrats knew they could not win an election with a republican president with that kind of rating and they started a campaign to denigrate w. rove convinced w to be the 'bigger man" and not fight back. Over the years w's rating eroded by over 70 points. Nicely played asshole!
ReplyDelete#2 Please quote accurately. CNBC did not refer to "President Trump." They correctly referred to him as "Former President Trump."
ReplyDeleteRandy says: I don’t know if FJB will make it through his term. If so, DJT will be the 45th and 47th President. If not, DJT will be the 45th and 48th President. So for accuracy, I just refer to him as the “once and future President.”
