Fox reported, "Bill Maher rails against 'conspiracy' by media, Big Tech, to suppress Hunter Biden laptop story in 2020."
Wow. Such a brave man to call out the media now that Biden safely is in office and able to steamroll the rights of Americans.
It is just like PolitiFact labelling "you can keep your doctor" in 2013, five years after Obama said it over and over again. In 2008, PolitiFact vouched for the statement and won a Pulitzer Prize.
But that was then. This is now.
Fox said, "Real Time host Bill Maher blasted the widespread suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story during the 2020 presidential election."
Maher said, "It’s getting so crazy. The ‘October surprise’ that the Trump people have now... have you seen this? It’s Hunter Biden’s laptop. Joe Biden’s ne’er-do-well son, Hunter, has this laptop which apparently had incriminating evidence—maybe stuff about influence-peddling on it—that was contained in his emails. And apparently, according to this, Hunter was trading on his name, selling access to his father, accepting money for nothing—what Don Jr. calls living the dream."
Oh wait, that was what Maher said 10 days before the 2020 election.
In the wake of the New York Post breaking the story, Maher was there to remind his corporate masters that he was a good soldier.
He said, "Here’s the part that gets a little swirly about the story. How do we know about these emails? Well, apparently Hunter took his computer—which wasn’t working—to a computer repair shop, as we all do in 2020… and left it there and forgot about it, because, says Rudy Giuliani… he was drunk. And the computer repairman is blind. I’m not making that part of the story up."
But Maher did make part of the story up. The computer repairman was not blind. He said he did not get a good look at Hunter and did not recognize him.
Bill Maher, corporation man that he is, said, "So, how did the blind man know Hunter was drunk? How you repair a computer if you’re blind? I don’t know about that either. But in the process of repairing Hunter’s computer blindly, he read Hunter’s emails and turned it over to the FBI. Is that how you fix a laptop nowadays? You read somebody’s emails? It’s like a plumber saying, ‘Well, the problem with your pipes is that you have cocaine in your underwear drawer.’"
Hahaha.
Maher mocked the second worse scandal of the century—a VP's son using his dad's office to collect millions in bribes from foreigners and foreign countries.
The worst of course was a president using the FBI to spy on a political opponent who dared mock his birth certificate.
But as I said, now Maher admits the truth.
Sorta.
He said on Friday, "Is it okay to have a conspiracy to get rid of Trump? They were talking about Hunter Biden's laptop, which was a story and now all the mainstream press has finally admitted it was a real story. It was a real laptop.
"Now look, let's not pussyfoot around this; he was selling the influence of his father, Joe Biden. I mean, most political sons do, but let's not pretend at least that was going on… so Hunter Biden's laptop was buried by the press. Even the head of Twitter Jack Dorsey said that was a mistake… So Sam Harris says it was appropriate for Twitter, and the heads of Big Tech, and the heads of journalistic organizations to feel that they were in the presence of something that is a once-in-a-lifetime moral emergency, meaning Trump. So he's saying it's okay to have a conspiracy, to get rid of somebody as bad as Trump."
Most political sons do?
He just smeared thousands of young men with his everyone-does-it excuse. I am not saying Pelosi's son and Kerry's stepson didn't do it. I am saying Donald Jr., Eric and Barron did not.
Let me make it clear, Maher still refuses to admit that Biden is on the take from foreigners including Red China. For those who may not have remembered, Biden flew with Hunter in Air Force Two to Beijing so his son could finalize a billion-dollar deal.
And in calling out the press coverup and discrediting the laptop scandal, Bill Maher won't admit he mocked. All of late-night TV did. They all are corporate shills who promote Democrats to protect their companies from reprisal when Democrats are in power. We haven't seen this much shucking and jiving since Stepin Fetchit retired from the movies.
