African reporter asks question the rest won't

Simon Ateba of Today News Africa is the mouth that roars at the White house press briefings. He sits in the back row in seats assigned to members of the White House Correspondents Association who skip the briefings. From there, he shouts questions in a booming voice that others won't ask. On Tuesday, he stumped the dim-witted Karine Jean-Pierre.

Today News Africa is a small web site that runs on donations only. After he dared embarrass Jen Psaki on the last day of her job by asking why she ignored questions from the back row, the WHCA threatened to suspend his associate membership in the association best known for its annual anti-Trump dinners. It has a monopoly on who gets into these daily briefings.

The Biden regime leaned on corporate America again to silence him.

The New York Post reported, "The African journalist who interrupted Jen Psaki’s final White House press briefing earlier this month says the financial processing company Stripe is cutting off his publication’s income.

"Today News Africa correspondent Simon Ateba provided The Post with copies of messages informing him that his website’s offer of a lifetime subscription — for $1,490 — violated Stripe company policies and therefore he’d have to start from scratch with another payment processor."

There are no such things in politics as coincidences.

He is nothing like Helen Thomas. She was revered by WHCA who allowed her the first question each day even though in her dotage she asked irrelevant questions probably prompted by the voices in her head.

WHCA's objection to Ateba shows he is over the target.

Media-ite reported he unleashed a bomb on Tuesday.

MR. ATEBA: I would like to know what’s the difference between President Trump watching TV, even pleading to go to the Capitol while — while the Capitol was being attacked, and President Biden going to the beach and having fun while Supreme Court justices are on the attack by a verbally violent mob? What’s the difference between those two leaders?

MS. JEAN-PIERRE: Wait, what’s the comparison you’re making? Could you say the first part?

MR. ATEBA: So, I’m saying now: What’s the difference between President Trump not doing anything while the Capitol was being attacked and President Biden not doing anything when protesters — while the Supreme Court justices were under attack in their own homes with their families and with their children?

MS. JEAN-PIERRE: Well, I — there are two major differences here.

First of all, our predecessor was very — we have said that his behavior on that day, on January 6th, was atrocious. The President has said that. And we are going to let the Select Committee — the January 6 Select Committee continue to do their independent review of that — their hearing. And you guys all saw for yourselves, the American people saw — have seen for themselves what — what the — what our precede- — predecessor has done — his behavior and his involvement.

So that is not the same. That is absolutely not the same. We are talking about what we saw on January 6th. We are talking about an attack on our democracy. We are talking about a very dark day that the person who was here before us seemingly, if you watch, was very involved. So that’s very, very different.

Now, fast forward to — to this President. This President is fighting for women’s rights. He’s fighting for women’s freedom. He has spoken out. He’s been very clear about what needs to happen next. He put out two executive authorities that lays out ways that we can protect women. He has — he has said that he’s go- — everything is on the table. We’re going to see what else we can do.

But he also has spoken very truthfully and very honestly with the American people, which is: If we want to see Roe become the law of the land, we also have to act. We have to hold Congress accountable and make sure that they act and that that cannot happen. Then Americans need to go to the ballot box. And that is — that is very different.

And to say — and to say that there is no difference, that is — that is just unbelievably wrong.

MR. ATEBA: But is it a concern that a Supreme Court justice may be harmed (inaudible)?

MS. JEAN-PIERRE: I’m — I’m moving on. I’m moving on.

I guess Supreme Court lives don't matter. Biden's at the beach and his DOJ is AWOL while at least one would-be assassin has shown up at Kavanaugh's door. Remember, it was a Bernie Bro who tried to gun down 9 Republican congressmen at a baseball practice 5 years ago.

The press should be ashamed that some guy from a barely there news agency is holding the administration accountable.

But there are so many embarrassments by the American press that go without apology that I have lost track.

  2. The nation would not be in the terrible situation its in today had the once responsible and serious media we had up to the clinton yrs, done its job both with Obama's background and the corruption of Bidens family.
We have a marxist press in place and it isn't going anywhere since it is completely bought out by China and other America haters.

    2. Navy: you are certainly right on the mark. When we count the traitors that are actively working to bring this great country down, the MSM owners and talking heads should be among that number. My personally opinion is that summary execution for treason should be the order of the day.

    4. BrianinTn perhaps your “personally” opinion ought to be deferred until English is your first language, because Americans don’t defer to alien provocateurs when it comes to identifying and punishing traitors.

    6. Navy, I have to disagree. The media only kept up an appearance of honesty. My father had a book back in the sixties that made reference to clams. That stands for Congressional Left Academia and the Media. The media lied to us about the situation in Vietnam. Cronkite, the most trusted name in news was an unrepentant liar.
Mom often referred to the evening news as SeeBS making it clear she meant See and not C. My father often refused to even be in the house while the Evening news was on, deferring to the ten PM showing which had less propaganda.
They no longer try to maintain any appearance of neutrality. And always remember, FOX isn't a right wing news source, they are simply the furthest right of the left wing media.

  6. Also at yesterday's press briefing, some one asked her about reports the Department of Energy is exporting to Europe copious quantities of oil from our strategic reserves even as our gasoline prices hit new highs. She gave the Sgt. Schultz response.

Sir, this predates the Clinton press. The press covered all sorts of sexual shenanigans for John Kennedy. They covered all sorts of things for Franklin Roosevelt, including his use of a wheelchair. Heck, when the federalist found out the mib was distilling industrial alcohol to get the lead out, they polluted it with benzene. Lead to thousands of deaths and blindness. The press covered that up to. Occasionally I purchase a National Enquirer, because they didn't hide Edwards and his love baby.

    2. That's okay; we get the drift. The press has been populated with hopeless turds for a very long time. It's just 100% out in the open these days, which indicates just how afraid all the DC rats are of Trump becoming POTUS again because it will be no more Mr. Nice Guy!

  8. True , JFK was a dog . If we didn't already have the term " Machiavelliian " they would a term named after FDR for being manipulative . Lastly the mob abandoned their mantra of not killing their customer base somewhere along the way .
