ITEM 1: Stephen Colbert got covid.
Again.
Polls now closed in WV. We're expecting Trump-endorsed Rep. Alex Mooney (R) to beat pro-infrastructure package Rep. David McKinley (R) in #WV02's showdown tonight, but the margin could tell us how much trouble other non-Trump Rs are in over the next few months.
— Dave Wasserman (@Redistrict) May 10, 2022
The media and the pundits never do a piece on non-Obama D's.
The Washington Post misinformed readers, "Rep. David B. McKinley (R-W.Va.) lost his bid for a seventh term on Tuesday because he voted for the bipartisan infrastructure bill. His double-digit defeat in West Virginia’s GOP primary, which largely turned on infrastructure spending, best illustrates why President Biden’s governing theory has failed."
No mention was made of McKinley's witch hunt vote. Hey, why tell the truth when you can spin a narrative?
ITEM 3: Slate reported, "Elon Musk’s apparent decision to restore former President Donald Trump’s privileges to post on Twitter if his purchase of the company closes is a dangerous one for American democracy. And there’s one group that has by far the best chance to prevent it from happening and who must organize and act: Twitter’s employees."
These are the same liberals who up until last month insisted Twitter is a private company that can do anything it wants.
This is not a threat to democracy. This is a threat to the deep state government to which Slate and Big Media swear their allegiance.
ITEM 4: WESH reported, "A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed last week against Gov. Ron DeSantis, in reference to his administration's decision to revoke Disney's self-governing power.
"A group of people was suing state leaders over the decision to get rid of Disney's Reedy Creek District, saying it was only passed to punish Disney, and subsequently taxpayers.
"U.S. District Court Judge Cecilia Altonaga explained in a report that she threw the suit out because it's an issue that falls in the state's jurisdiction and because the law won't go into effect until July 2022."
Bush 43 appointee.
ITEM 5: No abortion, no exception.
13-Year-Old Bravely Rejected Abortion After Rape, She Has No Regrets Three Years Laterhttps://t.co/euHECe5vE1
— LifeNews.com (@LifeNewsHQ) May 10, 2022
Here's an idea: adopt a kid rather than push abortion.
ITEM 6: The Tampa Bay Times reported, "For the second time in 11 months, the Florida House voted on Thursday to send a bill to Gov. Ron DeSantis that would strip Florida’s newspapers of legal notice revenue.
"Some lawmakers said the move is a jab at publications that sometimes publish stories and editorials critical of the Republican leadership in Florida."
Third paragraph quoted a Democrat legislator verbatim, "The free press here in the free state of Florida isn’t reporting what the governor’s communications director wants it to report."
Fourth paragraph paraphrased supporters: "Supporters of the measure say it shouldn’t be the state’s job to make local governments subsidize newspapers. They say the measure will make notices more widely accessible to Floridians — who may or may not subscribe to a newspaper."
The headline said, "Did the Florida Legislature pass this bill to punish newspapers? Some lawmakers say yes."
That's not journalism.
That's advocacy.
The people who pay for legal notices largely are citizens probating wills, trustee notices and the like. Post them online. West Virginia does.
ITEM 7: Fox reported, "South Carolina man dies of heart attack while burying girlfriend he killed, authorities say."
Me (to wife): Honey, this is why I could never kill you.
ITEM 8: The New York Post reported, "A transgender woman who bragged about her light sentence on a kiddie-molestation rap has now been charged with murder in connection with a 2019 robbery, authorities said Tuesday.
"Hannah Tubbs, 26, hit the headlines in January when she pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl in the bathroom of a Palmdale, Calif., Denny’s in 2014 when she was 17."
He's a pervert who should be put away for life.
If he is guilty of murder, that life should be cut short.
ITEM 9: Politico reported, "Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen on Tuesday argued that banning abortion would be very damaging for the economy by reducing women’s ability to balance their careers and their families."
The balance would be 100% career, 0% family.
I see where having a child did not stop her career.
We know why all these big companies (Amazon, Tesla and the rest) are willing to pay for abortions. They want to turn their female employees into childless drones whose life revolves around work, work, work.
ITEM 10: Kane at Citizen Free Press reported, "Wikipedia removes Kathy Barnette page one week before election…"
This shows the left would rather face Turkey Lurky Dr. Oz than an actual Trump supporter.
ITEM 11: NYT reported, "A Baby Formula Shortage Leaves Desperate Parents Searching for Food."
The story said, "The shortage became acute with a recall of a defective brand this year after at least four babies were hospitalized with bacterial infection and at least two babies died. But the recall has been exacerbated by relentless supply-chain woes and labor shortages. The Datasembly research found that the national out-of-stock rate for baby formula reached 43% for the week ending Sunday, up 10% from last month’s average.
"Republicans have seized on the widening anxiety among parents to blame President Biden, arguing that the administration has not done enough to ramp up production. On Tuesday, Senator Mitt Romney of Utah sent a letter to the Food and Drug Administration and the Department of Agriculture, asserting that federal officials have been too slow to respond.
"The F.D.A., which is leading the federal response, said officials were working with Abbott Nutrition, the company involved in the recall, to restart production at its plant in Sturgis, Mich. The agency said it had been meeting regularly with various infant formula manufacturers to increase production capacity and urging retailers to consider placing sales limits on infant formula products."
People are starting to believe these shortages (good luck getting canned cat food) are deliberate. There have been 20 fires/plane crashes/et cetera that shut down food processing facilities so far this year.
These were the same people who told me Russian Collusion was a hoax, the vaccine wasn't as effective as advertised, and Hunter's laptop was real.
ITEM 12: AP reported, "Actor and activist James Cromwell has gone from Succession’s Uncle Ewan to real-life supergluin’ — pasting his hand to a midtown Manhattan Starbucks counter on Tuesday to protest the coffee chain’s extra charge for plant-based milk."
The man has a net worth of $8 million.
And he is too cheap to pay a little extra for his fake milk?
The manager should have just ignored him and let him figure his way out.
ITEM 13: Senator Josh Hawley announced that he "introduced the Copyright Clause Restoration Act, a new bill to strip woke corporations like Disney of special copyright protections. Senator Hawley’s bill would limit new copyright protections to 56 years and make the change retroactive for massive corporations like Disney that have been granted unnecessarily long copyright monopolies."
Bwahaha House of Mouse.
ITEM 14: Washington Free Beacon reported, "Around 70 Harvard faculty members slammed the elite college's newspaper, the Crimson, for its endorsement of the anti-Semitic movement to boycott Israel.
"In an open letter sent Monday, the faculty members, including former Treasury secretary and Harvard president Larry Summers, excoriated the Crimson‘s endorsement of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, saying they are 'concerned about the long-term impact of this recent staff editorial on the morale and well-being of Jewish and Zionist students at Harvard.'"
Once upon a time, colleges would expel anti-Semites.
ITEM 15: CNBC reported, "President Joe Biden said he could drop some of the tariffs imposed against Chinese imports to help control rising consumer prices in the U.S. — just as Wall Street braces for another inflation report north of 8%.
"The White House is reviewing the penalties imposed under former President Donald Trump — which raised prices on everything from diapers to clothing and furniture — and could opt to remove them altogether, Biden said in addressing the nation from Washington on Tuesday."
How much did Chairman Xi pay Hunter to get Biden to say that?
FINALLY, Biden called us Ultra MAGA.
Woo-hoo!
My pronouns now are Ultra MAGA and Deplorable.
“Double digits.” ALEX WON BY 19. Out in Montana we used to call that a shellacking. A thrashing. A hard spanking. WaPo, GFY.
ReplyDeleteA good and hard spanking that left welts.
DeleteA spanking that left welts!
DeleteA good old fashioned ass kicking.
DeleteAnd well deserved, too!
DeleteWelcome to the Castle Anthrax.
DeleteHow much of that baby formula has been shoplifted in blue cities? h/t Conrad Black
ReplyDelete# 3 -- Media do not believe in free speech. The best thing to do is not to support or buy their product. It's going to be a well-deserved fate.
DeleteMy wife breast fed, and when they were ready for solid food, we put portions of our meals in a blender.
Delete#1 No, we did not vaccinate our way out of this. The vaxxed keep getting it. The vaccines were totally oversold. It should always have been a personal choice.
ReplyDeleteYet the fools like Colbert and gates will insist they would have had a much much much worse case without the vaccine. Total speculative bs.
DeleteAgree, 100%. I hear that BS all the time. If that were true, there would be no vaxxed people in the hospital or in the ICU.
DeleteRemember when the shots were first on the market and all of Hollywood and the Left claimed the shots would kill you? Just because it was due to Trump's Operation Warp Speed.
DeleteI sure do remember that.
DeleteAs the virus has mutated UK data strongly suggests those who are vaxxed are having poorer results and are substantially more of the very sick and dying as opposed to the unvaxxed. It would appear we need to investigate the vax creating a weird immune response.
DeleteTrump is now 58-1. Trump is the party. MAGA and Ultra MAGA.
ReplyDelete#5 -- I do not understand this obsession with abortion when there is so much birth control (much of it free) out there. Adoption is always a better idea than abortion.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately in the CPCs I've been involved with (1 in Washington State and currently 1 in Texas) adoption is the word that can not be spoken. When the counselors bring up the topic, and they do, the walls go up, the doors slam shut, and the client's eyes glaze over. Simply, but sadly, put, they would rather abort than put their child up for adoption.
DeleteTruly sad, but I get what you are saying.
Delete#9 -- These big companies would rather pay for an abortion than accommodate women with children in their workforces. Abortion proves to be cheaper for them. These women who work, work, work, usually regret their empty wombs.
ReplyDelete#6 -- Agree with you, Don. Nope, not journalism. It's advocacy. Post the legal notices online.
ReplyDelete#14 -- Somehow, anti-Semitism always remains fashionable for the in crowd. Disgusting.
ReplyDeleteADL Defends Ukraine's Nazis
DeleteThe Anti-Defamation League (ADL) was established in 1913 to fight anti-Semitism, so it was shocking when, earlier this month, the organization came out in defense of the openly Nazi elements operating in Ukraine.
ADL is corrupt and doesn't defend anything but its pockets.
DeleteThe ADL is run by a former Obama flunkie. As the master sings, so sing all his followers.
Delete#12 -- James Cromwell is an idiot.
ReplyDelete#15 - Xiden and Hunter: Bought and paid for by China.
ReplyDeletere: FINALLY -- Good pronouns!
ReplyDeleteIt's almost like they are planning our demise...Are they doing this purposely?? If they can't kill IN the womb, they will do it OUT of the womb?? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10801581/FDA-refuses-say-baby-formula-plant-reopen-despite-companys-claims-facility-safe.html
ReplyDeleteThey will do it any way they can. Ruthless and evil.
Delete#15 -Xiden and scumbag son bought and paid for by China.
ReplyDeletere: FINALLY -- Great pronouns!
ReplyDelete#12 -- James Cromwell is an idiot.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I never got the praise he receives for his acting.
DeleteI only Remember seeing him in I, Robot as the dead Doctor, everything else he has been in no impression what so ever.
DeleteIsn't he a "Baird Man" from the movie Scent of a Woman? The Character's hypocrisy fits the actor.
DeleteAn idiot pays $5 for a $1 cup of coffee but complains about the extra charge for fake milk? Yes. An idiot. Never head of him. But he’s an idiot. And the coffee sucks.
Deletecome on now... he's a good actor. I liked him in Babe.
DeleteI like a lot of Springsteen songs too. As long as he doesn't talk, you know...
#10 -- Perhaps the RINOs prefer Oz, too.
ReplyDeleteITEM 1: I predict Colbert does The Masked Singer next.
ReplyDeleteI would like to predict (and hope) that his show gets cancelled. The guy is totally unfunny and has proven himself to be a mean, whiny jerk.
DeleteI predict (and hope) his show gets cancelled.
DeleteI predict and hope his show gets cancelled.
DeleteI predict his show will be cancelled.
Delete#7 - re: guy who kills wife drops dead while burying her. What goes around comes around. Karma.
ReplyDeleteI think the lesson to be learned here is that every man, after the age of fifty should have a cardiology workup to include a stress test on a treadmill to see if hes even fit enough to dig a shallow grave
DeleteMy thought exactly, Lennie.
DeleteAnd to shovel snow!
DeleteNaaah. The lesson here is rent a backhoe.
DeleteOr hire knifecatcher and tell him she's Jewish....
DeleteHahaha OMG, good one JR!
DeleteBravo JR
Delete#8 re: trans guy -- Let's hope this further helps the recall of George Gascon in L.A. The man is evil.
ReplyDelete#8 re: trans guy -- Let's hope this furthers the recall effort of George Gascon. The guy is Soros-backed and as evil as they come.
ReplyDeletere #11 -- Yes, people are are starting to believe these shortages are deliberate. I can still get canned cat food but the price has gone through the roof. The 20 fires/plane crashes/etc. that shut down food processing facilities so far this year don't seem to be related or intentional, yet here we are in this situation. At this point, I am for believing it's not a coincidence. coincidence.
ReplyDeleteItem 14: The mask is falling. Harvard had a policy of excluding Jews0. Maybe this battered woman syndrome of groups blindlessly forgiving the those who regard them as sub-human will finally end.
ReplyDeleteRacial Discrimination at Harvard
DeleteA collection of Asian-American organizations are charging Harvard University with racial discrimination in its college admissions policies.
Jews are way over-represented at Harvard
Delete6755 Undergrads total
4698 Graduate students total
700 Jewish Undergrads (10%)
2500 Jewish Graduates (53%)
Ref Hillel
For you, Knife, one Jew is too many.
DeleteWhat does it matter how many Jews are at Harvard? Who cares???
DeleteAs a subgroup, jews score very high on just about every testing mechanism out there. Just a crazy smart bunch. If we treated Asians the same, all top schools would be Asian and white, with a healthy dose of Jews in the white population. Blacks and hispanics not so much, though perhaps as hispanics start acting more like whites you might see their numbers increase. They are becoming more GOPish in their voting, suggesting the hard work is making the parents realize the opportunity this is creating for their kids and grandkids.
DeleteYa'll need to take your blinders off . The Jewish culture has brought some of this on themselves . As for me personally I don't care what your background is ; how one treats others provides me with a direction of a person' s character.
DeleteContent of character.
DeleteItem 13: A year ago Disney was flying high, had their own self governing "kingdom" and pretty much a lifetime exemption for all of their copyrights. Then Chapek chose "teaching kids about sexuality in public schools...at age 5" as their hill to die on.
ReplyDeleteThe more important questions are: Why in the hell does Chapek still have the CEO job and secondly, what the hell is the Board of Directors doing?
The Board of Directors are probably doing children. Only explanation. They're complicit.
DeleteOh and Pizza gate was real too
Corrupt and evil from top to bottom.
DeleteI was thinking the same thing about the board and I never doubted the Pizzagate story.
DeleteI don't know enough about the Pizzagate story, but at this point it is believable.
DeleteChapek will be gone soon - as will most of the Board. They are costing big investors real money. Hopefully someone will then unshackle ESPN to become a sports network again.
Delete#10 .. She should use that in every ad she runs from now to November -- Wikipedia just removed my Wiki page. Wikipedia leftists dont want you to know about me, just as they dont want you to freely express your beliefs. Why do you suppose that is?"
ReplyDeleteEven the founder (or co-founder) of Wikipeadia says its mission has been corrupted by leftists.
DeleteBiden continues to hurt conservatives monetarily. He knows the pressure and damage inflation does and he still labeled Trump/America First supporters as Ultra Maga. Now all those folks will have to replace their Deplorable tee shirts with a new Ultra Maga one. That's good for the tee shirt vendors only.
ReplyDeleteBiden -- demented but still evil. Always was.
DeleteLooks like we got the Commodores on our side in this anti Disney fight, Donzo. Check out this new anti Disney protest funk
ReplyDeleteOh hes a Freak .... Mouse
Hes grommay groomay
Just checking the little boys out
Yeah, hes a Freak .... Mouse
That Disney's whack
And thats a fact
Aint cuttin 'em any slack
👍🏻
DeleteYup!
Delete#10 ..
ReplyDeleteWhos the leader of the club
Molesting you and me
S-I-C-K-E-Y .. M-O-U-S-E
Hey there, hi there, ho there
Your pronouns are zhir and zhe
.......
Sickey Mouse! Good one!
DeleteOn a roll Lennie!!
DeleteMr. Surber, you wrote, “[A]dopt a kid rather than push abortion.” There are a number of reasons why that won’t work.
ReplyDeleteChiefly, those pushing abortion should never be allowed to adopt or have kids. They’ll inculcate their so-called values onto those children. As a result, most of whom will become worse adults than their adopted parents. So, I don’t want abortion-pushers anywhere near children. If I were in charge, they’d have to carry bells.
Secondly, it won’t work because abortion-pushers believe in abortion to any age you can name. There is no reason to expose children to the dangers of being in a household dominated by an abortion-pusher.
Finally, abortion-pushers hate themselves and hate everyone else. No child should be that kind of an environment.
You also said something that I think hits at the core of the problem: “We know why all these big companies (Amazon, Tesla and the rest) are willing to pay for abortions. They want to turn their female employees into childless drones whose life revolves around work, work, work.”
My pronoun is HRH. Take that, king of England!
I was going to take Your Majesty plus Your Majesty, you are so right.
Delete3. Oh, no! Trump lost one endorsement. Now he is only 1 for 58. His influence is waning.
ReplyDelete6. Question: If legal notices are published in "news" papers that regularly make up stories can the legal notices be accepted as real?
8. His problem now is he's not in a soros da jurisdiction.
9. It's cheaper than maternity leave.
11. The government is buying up the supply to feed to illegals coming into the country. It is real and like all the other problems was created by the biden administration.
12. At least he wouldn't starve until he ran out of money.
re: #9 -- You are right. It is far cheaper than maternity leave and establishing a company daycare on site.
Delete11. Welcome to the Gates, Soros, Schwab funded Agenda 21, Don. These are the sick fucks who want to decimate the world population while they act as overlords.
ReplyDeleteThe jab was just a start. Enough fools blindly put that shit in their bodies. Besides all the nasty AE's they're causing (unless you believe the bullshit the CDC is selling), the jabs are causing 3 times as many miscarriages than before.
Since there were still too many people smart enough to stay jab free, the next step is starvation by destroying the food centers/distributors.
Drugs, human experiments, and mass starvation? Sounds an awful lot like a Nazi death camp.
The Squab, Dr Evil, what the Hell else did you expect?
DeleteThe world's population has peaked. It's already going down. Can we tell these evil lords to look for something else to screw with now?
DeleteYes, it has peaked. It's a little-noticed fact as people still rail about overpopulation. The world needs more children.
DeleteDonald John Trump is still our president.
ReplyDelete1: Sounds like the In thing among the Lefties.
5: Fun fact: Abortions due to rape or incest are > 1% of abortions.
7: Alfred Hitchcock smiles.
13: Anybody, no matter how small, who put up an image that even vaguely looked like Mick or Don got their ass sued off.
For that alone, copyright should be rescinded.
FINALLY: Smart people learn from their mistakes, really smart people learn from other people's mistakes.
Stupid people never learn.
ITEM 10: “Turkey Lurky Dr. Oz”
ReplyDeleteHow about this, Don. You’re a retired newspaper man. Why don’t you contact Trump and ask him why he chose Oz over Barnette. Write his answer in an article.
Great idea! I wonder what Trump would say? If you don't ask him, could you tell us why you think Trump supports him. Melania/ Hannity??
ReplyDeleteNote; I see maybe why Trump didn't endorse Barnette. She wrote some fairly negative stuff about him before 2017. She was quiet (at least I haven't seen anything) after that and she approves of a lot of what he did as President but she was not a fan before he got into office.
ReplyDelete... so were probably 1/2 of the 58 he endorsed and won... many didn't like him at first. I was a Ted Cruz supporter before Trump, but came to Trump's side in time for the FL primary in 2016
DeleteAbout that shortage of baby formula, it seems babies survived for thousands of years without it. That's apparently impossible now.
ReplyDeleteWell, the old baby formula was, take one human egg, mix with human sperm, incubate for nine months, love and adore X two years. Regret and pull hair for the next sixteen. Await grandchildren to spoil rotten...
DeleteI know it's frowned on to wish ill of people esp. Death but I have to say I would not be sad to see one of these smarmy dipsh*ts on late night tv croak from getting the jab. They won't say that's what happened but that is what's happening to a lot of people on their 3rd and beyond jab. They're destroying the immune system while increasing the transmission of the virus.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's becoming more deadly than it was because it's ruined people's immune system to the point where people are getting cancers and other diseases that their immune system has held back all this time but now can no longer do it's job.
It will take another 2 years maybe before the real problems show up and our economy shuts down due to lack of workers. It's coming folks.
Yes, it is coming. It has already started. There was no reason to mandate or push the jabs.
DeleteThe women who abort fall into two very different groups.
ReplyDelete1 group does it because they cannot afford another mouth to feed or take care of for 18 mo. or so till they're older because they work 2 or 3 jobs already and if they're on welfare contrary to popular belief that don't pay for everything you need.
The other group doesn't want to put a dent in their career or their bod and party time as a kid even if you're going to adopt them out will take up 10 mos of your life and a lot of visits to doctors and being careful of what you eat and drink and also they don't like the prospect of having to exercise and work out in hopes of reducing the skin stretch and the fat that accumulates with a pregnancy.
This is what makes the subject very emotional as on one hand we have ego and narcissism and on the other we have poor planning making bad decisions on who to let into your bed.
#BREASTFEED, #WETNURSE. Stop your whining and do things Nature's way.
ReplyDeleteITEM 6: ... "For the second time in 11 months, the Florida House voted on Thursday to send a bill to Gov. Ron DeSantis that would strip Florida’s newspapers of legal notice revenue."
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that keeps the NY Post (an increasingly decrepit shadow of its former self) from being a complete financial disaster are the quarterly bank notices of unclaimed funds. HUGE bulky inserts. Eliminate them and WHAM.
#11. "There are many food and beverage processing establishments (plants) in the United States—36,486, owned by about 31,401 companies in 2017, according to the most recent comprehensive data in the Census Bureau's 2017 Economic Census.
ReplyDelete20 fires, crashes, accidents.

Yep, there's the next crisis.
