Where's NY Post's Pulitzer?

It is a great and true newspaper story that puts All the President's Men to shame. The adult son of the leading presidential candidate has put evidence of bribery, corruption, drug abuse and more on a laptop he left for repairs and never picked up. The shop owner gives it to the FBI, which sat on the laptop for a year without investigating.

Finally, the laptop's contents are given to a plucky little newspaper that against all odds verifies the story and publishes it.

Instead of being the story that broke the town wide open, the rest of the news media dismissed the story as Russian disinformation. That was the instructions from the deep state. News celebrities circled their wagons around the candidate and his drug-addled son who collected payoffs from foreign governments for his dad.

Facebook and Twitter blocked the newspaper from publicizing its story.

Instead of bringing down the House of Corruption, the media propped it up.

Biden's election shamed America because it imperiled the world. The honeycomb of bribery resulted in Red China gaining exclusive rights to Afghanistan's treasures.

The truth was out there all along.

The New York Post reported on October 14, 2020, "Hunter Biden introduced his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, to a top executive at a Ukrainian energy firm less than a year before the elder Biden pressured government officials in Ukraine into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company, according to emails obtained by The Post.

"The never-before-revealed meeting is mentioned in a message of appreciation that Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma, allegedly sent Hunter Biden on April 17, 2015, about a year after Hunter joined the Burisma board at a reported salary of up to $50,000 a month.

"'Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,' the email reads.

"An earlier email from May 2014 also shows Pozharskyi, reportedly Burisma’s No. 3 exec, asking Hunter for 'advice on how you could use your influence' on the company’s behalf.

"The blockbuster correspondence — which flies in the face of Joe Biden’s claim that he’s 'never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings' — is contained in a massive trove of data recovered from a laptop computer."

A national media that promoted a Russian Collusion hoax to undermine President Trump now smothered a real presidential scandal.

Variety reported on the very same day, "Facebook and Twitter took action Wednesday to limit distribution of a New York Post story citing emails purportedly revealing evidence of influence-peddling by Joe Biden’s son Hunter — a disputed allegation that has never been corroborated. The paper claimed the emails were supplied by Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, after being copied from a laptop that had been abandoned in a computer-repair shop.

"According to the Post’s story, Hunter Biden in 2015 introduced his father, then VP in the Obama administration, to a top exec at Ukrainian energy company Burisma after Hunter joined the company’s board. The insinuation is that Hunter successfully influenced his father to pressure Ukraine government officials 'into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company,' per the Post.

"The Biden campaign said in a statement that, after reviewing the then-VP’s official schedules from the time, no such meeting between Biden and the Ukrainian executive ever took place. The Democratic presidential candidate’s reps reiterated assertions that Biden engaged in no wrongdoing in carrying out U.S. foreign policy in Ukraine."

The problem was 2 years earlier, Biden bragged about withholding a billion-dollar aid package until Ukraine fired the prosecutor.

The Post told the truth.

The media lied.

A month later, the media declared Biden the winner in an election tainted with millions of mail-in ballots that suspiciously were overwhelmingly for Biden.

Trump won in a landslide on Election Day but that was offset by those mail-in ballots. The media immediately squelched any and all talk about the election being stolen.

The damage is done.

Now that Hunter may be indicted for tax fraud stemming from the bribes he collected, NYT, WaPo and the rest begrudgingly admit that the laptop story was true.

If the Pulitzer Prize has any meaning, a special one will be awarded to the New York Post as an apology for the media stifling really, really good journalism -- the best I have seen in my 68 years.

Of course, if the Pulitzer committees had any dignity -- any standards -- any concern about ethics -- they would have rescinded the Pulitzers given to NYT and WaPo for pushing the Russian Collusion lie.

But the media stopped caring about reporting the truth a generation ago. It is all about promoting socialism and protecting the deep state now. The communists knew how to do it.

110 years ago they started Pravda.

Within a decade, they owned Russia.

Fortunately, our media is not as good as Pravda.

  2. Go back and watch "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" again. Remember how it ends? The political bosses control the newspapers back in Jimmy Stewart's home state, which start slandering him to get rid of him. But a group of boy scouts use their own little paper to get the truth out. Yeah, it's Hollywood and Frank Capra, but its amazingly contemporary, too.

    1. Hold out the hope. Wisconsin's democrats got whipped in a local election.
Local stuff has a tendency to flow upwards.
What is needed is more like minded Trump candidates. If they can take both houses they can control the purse strings over EFF lyin' joe biden*.
They could also impeach the latest disaster just put on the supreme court.
But you have to have the gonads to slash the budget and wait EFF lyin' joe biden's* veto out to the point of pain for everyone. But mostly pain for the democrats.

  8. If you're not cynical, you need to start paying attention.
And, as the 'little old lady' said: DON'T VOTE, IT ONLY ENCOURAGES THEM! Of, By, and For the People? Not now. Where is the Spirit of 1776!

I gotta disagree with you here. Joe will likely pardon his son. The reason they are letting this see the light of day is in preparation for removing Joe and possibly the Ho. The string pullers want a different marionette. Joe served his purpose, the damage is done, now it's damage control mode in preparation for the 2024 steak. Got to tamp down the angry mobs so they can report all quiet on the western front. Their western front as in all of America.
For the next two years we are going to be kept on a strict diet of lies and deception meant to convince angry people that everyone else has moved on.

    1. They'll have to remove the whole Democrat party, Jeffery. They're all dirty.

As I say, the sooner they punt and let Trump back in so we can get back to the way things were, the sooner people will move on.

In like 20 or 40 years.

    3. Ed, they are not going to punt and let President Trump back in. Hitler was determined that Germany fight to the last man, and while the donks don't have any real men, they are willing to destroy the nation rather than admit they are wrong.
This is what they want! America crippled. It's all about the money for them.

    4. Lyn5, I get what you are saying, but covid was purposely used to steal the election. The quackcine is a means to kill people and the grooming is to destroy our children.
They are no longer teaching our kids, this is letting the dogs have fun before they slaughter us.
I believe in GOD, and the Bible paints a stark future. Whether that is in five years, fifty or five hundred, I don't know.
All I know is that the people who are running this want it now!

    5. "As I say, the sooner they punt and let Trump back in"...that has to be the most unrealistic, (and retarded), comment I think I have ever read on the Surbers blog...minus a few of my own, of course! There will never be a "punt" by these human impersonaters. This is going to take a huge takeaway for a win to happen! You just sit on the sidelines and hope for that punt, I'm sure they'll hand it right back without a problem, freaking Moron!

I'm not so sure about that. I would think that the FBI, in the true spirit and fashion of J. Edgar Hoover, mined that laptop for all it was worth - for blackmail purposes. Of course, they wouldn't release any information unless it was pursuant of that purpose.

  14. /when the GOP takes over Congress there will not be the same Uniparty doings. People are very angry, and the local races show this. Even the Dems in Oregon are running scared. Huge protest of Planned Eugenics 15million dollar facility along with free accommodation and meals for women to come over from Idaho. all paid for by tax dollars. The Hispanic population there is really not happy. this is blue Oregon. Granted on the Red Side, but its not hopeless. The Dems are going down.
