Biden diplomacy costs you a buck a gallon

Biden really did do that.

Business Insider reported, "Saudi Arabia's crown prince Mohammed bin Salman erupted at national security advisor Jake Sullivan during a meeting last year when Sullivan brought up the assassination of the journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

"That's according to The Wall Street Journal, which reported that the argument happened last September, when the two men met for the first time since President Joe Biden took office.

"Although the crown prince wanted to strike a relaxed tone for their meeting, he 'ended up shouting at Mr. Sullivan after he raised the 2018 killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi,' the newspaper reported. 'The prince told Mr. Sullivan he never wanted to discuss the matter again,' people familiar with the discussion told The Journal. The crown prince also said that the US 'could forget about its request to boost oil production."

Gasoline was $3.28 a gallon then.

It is $4.17 now.

Biden diplomacy.

Insulting the prince cost you about a buck a gallon at the gas pumps.

The Wall Street Journal report began, "The White House unsuccessfully tried to arrange calls between President Biden and the de facto leaders of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates as the U.S. was working to build international support for Ukraine and contain a surge in oil prices, said Middle East and U.S. officials.

"Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the U.A.E.’s Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan both declined U.S. requests to speak to Mr. Biden in recent weeks, the officials said, as Saudi and Emirati officials have become more vocal in recent weeks in their criticism of American policy in the Gulf."

The House of Saud is corrupt and evil. But so is the Biden regime.

Inviting someone into your home and then accusing him of murder is so far beyond the pale that Biden should have cashiered Sullivan on the spot.

Now Biden is crawling on his knees to get oil relief from the Saudis and they will not return his calls.

Every president from Eisenhower to Trump was a friend of the Saudis for strategic reasons as well as for cheap oil. Ours was a symbiotic relationship.

Israel is going to bat for the Saudis, a nation that refuses to officially recognize the Israeli state.

Haaretz reported, "Israel Wants Biden to Improve Ties With the Saudis. His Party Isn't on Board

"Jerusalem is an increasingly loud cheerleader in Washington for Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Saudi Arabia, but senior Democrats in Congress expect Biden to live up to his 'pariah' statement on Riyadh."

And it is not just the House of Saud that Biden has turned off.

Radio Free Europe reported, "U.S. President Joe Biden has asked Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi not to accelerate purchases of Russian oil, saying doing so would not be in India's interest and could hamper the U.S. response to the war in Ukraine.

"Biden, who is seeking to build a wider coalition of nations opposed to Russia’s unprovoked attack on Ukraine, told Modi during an hourlong video call on April 11 that India's position in the world would not be enhanced by relying on Russian energy sources."

Nine days later, India continues to buy Russian oil.

Modi was a friend of Bush 43, Obama and Trump. Obama held the first vegetarian state dinner to honor Modi.

After more than a decade of cultivating U.S. presidents, Modi is giving Biden the brushoff.

DC did this. The deep state, the media and Republicans installed him as president. Politics aside, he is really, really lousy.

The world sees what we see: an America with a weak president who was never all that bright but is now incapacitated by dementia. He is a meat puppet with a staff of Obama's rejects.

That buck a gallon extra on gasoline is only a down payment on the price we will pay for this fool.

  1. My LibCommie brother would be JUST FINE with $10/gal gas. He thinks it will speed up the switch to “renewables.” Of course, he is a fooking idiot. I touted Dollar General as a Strong Buy to him a monthly ago, explaining that high gas prices are gonna keep rural folks from driving too far from home, and his response was “They just need a Universal Basic Income.” Jeffrey, you retard.

And yes, Ed, his name really IS Jeffrey. Just not like you spell it.

  2. I was living in Iowa in 1987 as the presidential primary season began to heat up and this doofus deigned to visit us hicks to prove he had the "common touch". A more vaporous, vapid, condescending POS I have never encountered before or since...and he always thinks he's the smartest guy in the room - the smarmiest peut-etre. Can't believe how far we have fallen in my lifetime...can we recover? Sans doute, but it will be a challenge...

  3. Brandon is a fool. Consumers are paying a premium for his idiocy. it really is a sad and shocking state of affairs. The answer is for voters to turn away from the Democrats en masse in free and fair elections.

  6. “[Biden’s national security advisor Jake Sullivan] raised the 2018 killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi” This is what passes for “diplomacy” in the FJB administration. What’s next? Reminding Germany that they elected Hitler? Reminding the Jews that they killed Jesus? Someone needs to remind Sullivan that his clowns have been holding political prisoners in a gulag without charges for over a year.

    1. But, of course, Zhou Bai-Den or his lapdog Jake Sullivan have not a word for Xi Jinping and the Red Chinese treatment of Uighers. Paying off Hunter did have its benefits.

    1. Thanks! I just copied those to my notes. Don’t know when I’ll use it, but I’m sure I will at some point. Maybe a bumper sticker.

BTW, it appears that the foreign languages are rendered as regular text, not as a graphic, since I can hit the right/left arrow keys and skip through it letter-by-letter. I also didn’t know blogs could display “backward” (right-to-left) text like Arabic. Learned something today. 🙂

  11. When does this crap end?? We were all Faucked for two years by little Tony, now we are bitten by Bidenflation. Let’s not forget the border invasion invitations issued by POTUS Magoo and the Afghanistan abandonment embarrassment.

BTW, the US leadership succession currently in place is Biden, Cackles Harris and drunk Nancy Pelosi. Those three make the Three Stooges look like intellectual giants. God help us.
