Chris Wallace gets Trumpenfreude

Trumpenfreude is that feeling you get when you watch someone fall who tried to bring President Donald John Trump down. I stopped counting at 118.

But this week -- a year after Trump left office -- was a spectacular week of Trumpenfreude. It began with CNN firing Jeff Zucker. It continued with a jury convicting the Creepy Porn Lawyer of swindling Stormy Daniels. And now it ends with Chris Wallace whining about Zuck's departure and having no staff in his new gig at CNN-plus.

Hahaha.

He left a $7 million a year job at Fox for an undisclosed salary at CNN-plus.

He called it a new challenge. I call it Fox not wanting to pay $7 million a year for a drag on ratings.

We Love Trump reported, "With Chris Wallace Gone, Fox News Sunday Viewership Ratings Skyrocket."

Hahaha.

His departure was the best thing to happen to Fox since Shepard Smith left for CNBC.

Tonight, Radar Online reported, "Defection Disaster: ‘Irate’ Chris Wallace Has Meltdown Over Jeff Zucker-Allison Gollust Scandal, Said To Be At War In D.C. Bureau With Jake Tapper."

The story said, "Chris Wallace is irate at the ousting of CNN president Jeff Zucker and his future at the news network is uncertain, Radar has been told."

Hahaha.

The story quoted TV industry insider, who said, "He went over there for Zucker and now Zucker is gone. Wallace feels that he has been stiffed. He’s got no staff, no Executive Producer and the guy he gave up a prized gig for has just walked out the door."

Jake Tapper, the host of The Lead, and Sam Feist, the cable giant’s Washington bureau chief and senior vice president, remain at the station.

The TV insider said, "It’s no secret in DC that Wallace hates Jake Tapper and despises Sam Feist. Zucker spun his magic to allay Chris’ concern about the pair, promising that his status as a ‘premiere journalist’ would not be compromised while working out of the DC bureau."

HAHAHA.

Oh this is delicious.

The man who promoted the Russian Collusion Hoax for years on Fox now is the one who feels the walls are closing in.

    1. I don't particularly care for gay people anyway, but he and his unctious, smarmy attitude were particularly unenjoyable to watch.

  2. I had stopped watching Chris Wallace and Fox News Sunday a few years ago. I found Maria Bartiromo's "Sunday Morning Futures" to be more informative with better guests. I find it interesting enough to DVR it.

  12. This is what happens when you get convinced the grass is greener on the other side.

And then find out it ain't.

hahahahahahaha. Chris you're Daddy wouldn't have fallen for what you did. He would've known what was going on and that zucker was on thin ice. But your pride blinded you and rightly so. Glad to see that you now can suffer a bit. Not much cause you did rake in the dough all those years with Fox. But I doubt you'll be back at the top anywhere anytime soon.

  13. I'd believe in the Trump jinx if he hadn't lost in 2020. Cause a lot of people are sitting in the dirt who made a point of trying to trip him up.

  14. I essentially make about $6,000-$8,000 every month on the web. It's sufficient to serenely supplant my old employments pay, particularly considering I just work around 10-13 hours every week from home. I was stunned how simple it was after I attempted it duplicate underneath web…

  18. I laughed endlessly reading about Gangway Rope Runner Rat-Wallace's Unhappiness.

He now goes into the Crazy B*tch Hall of Fame along with that unmentionable thing, Me-Again Kelly, who bolted across Sixth Avenue from Fox to NBC and in doing so instantly became the company's most hated employee in the history of NBC.

Then she was fired (and still got to keep the money, $68 million dollars --- which means that the first thing she did when reporting for duty was to get blackmail material on Andy Lack, who himself was fired later on).

  19. More evidence that Wallace had his finger on the pulse, knew which way the wind was blowing - whatever.

    Now do his political analysis.

  20. "best thing to happen to Fox since Shepard Smith left for CNBC" - I would suggest "best thing to happen to Fox since Juan Williams left." Period. The 5 has done gang busters since they dropped that DNC plant (and I do mean plant as in vegetable).
