What they call a feud is really a reaction to being booed.
NYT reported, "After Mr. DeSantis refused to reveal his full covid vaccination history, the former president publicly acknowledged he had received a booster. Last week, he seemed to swipe at Mr. DeSantis by blasting as gutless politicians who dodge the question out of fear of blowback from vaccine skeptics."
And then Trump hired hookers to pee in a bed DeSantis once slept in, right?
The story went on and on, as Jonathan Martin and Maggie Haberman, ace reporters for the Disgraced Lady, cited insiders as saying the two are on the outs. Blah, blah, blah.
But lobbyist Brian Ballard, who cashed in on his connections to both men, told NYT, "They’re the two most important leaders in the Republican Party and will be personal and political friends for the rest of their careers."
All the intrigue that NYT tried to foment overlooks what Trump said and why he said it.
He got booed.
4 days before Christmas, CNN reported, "Former President Donald Trump was booed by a portion of an audience in Dallas on Sunday when he said he had received a Covid-19 booster shot, according to video of the closed press event that was shared on social media.
"The comments by Trump -- who, despite championing his administration's efforts to develop Covid vaccines, rarely discusses his own vaccination and has largely declined to encourage others to get it -- came during a stop of his tour with former Fox News host Bill O'Reilly."
O'Reilly asked Trump, "Did you get the booster?"
CNN said, "'Yes,' Trump said to a smattering of boos in the audience. 'Don't, don't, don't, don't, don't,' Trump says in the video, seemingly trying to quiet the boos. 'That's all right, it's a very tiny group over there.'"
Last week, in an interview with One America News, Trump said, "I’ve had the booster. Many politicians — I watched a couple of politicians be interviewed and one of the questions was, ‘Did you get the booster?’ because they had the vaccine. And they’re answering like — in other words, the answer is ‘yes’ but they don’t want to say it. Because they’re gutless. You gotta say it, whether you had it or not. Say it. But the fact is that I think the vaccines saved tens of millions throughout the world. I’ve had absolutely no side-effects."
I can see where he is coming from.
President Trump finds himself in nowhere land. He gets no credit for the vaccine while at the same time he gets booed for taking the vaccine.
DeSantis meanwhile is taking plenty of heat in Florida media for keeping the state open after a brief lockdown in April 2020. His biggest sin is being right. The Miami Herald will never admit that. In fact, it ran an editorial this week, "We agree with Donald Trump. Tell us whether you got a booster, Gov. DeSantis."
Meh.
They only want to know so they can criticize him again on another topic.
That tells me who they fear most.

He also has the perfect right to keep his personal medical information to himself, and to stand up to the MSM that wants to force his compliance with their political agenda. Again, all very commendable.

DeleteI attended Trump History tour in Dallas AMR Arena and to say that 'Trump was booed' is a big exaggeration. There were some folks that murmured, and about 200/15,000 booed, and NO ONE was required to wear a face diaper. As to such a big deal that the ToiletPapers make of it, it was a nothing burger.

I faithfully remain non GMO. I recently got sick and tested positive for fraud Fauci's fake flu. I was sick in bed for a little over a day, lost my sense of taste and dealing with light sensitivity.

I understand people being upset with her regarding her handling of the perverts in school sports issues, but please remember that South Dakota is a small state and cannot afford the kinds of lawsuits that the Soros funded evil denizens would bring. Her decision to instead act by executive order placed the state at less financial risk.
As for a Trump DeSantis feud, Remember Trump's last big feud with McMahon? Great press, all show. Let the press wring their hands, the Art of the Deception will be used against them.

The NCAA needs the money and as our college baseball teams draw some of the biggest crowds in the country (Mississippi State - the largest - record setting crowds) we host tournaments. Money talks. Threats are hollow. When we finally changed our flag, it was our choice, not an outsiders threat.
Sweetheart and I just got over the Omicron Thingy. Like a very light cold. We both lacked the booster and (I hope) now have natural antibodies. Sounds like they will work as well as a booster vaccine. Some buddies were giving me a hard time about not getting the booster. I reminded them of the chicken pox parties our parents would give in the Sixties...for the kids
