The vax opinion I want

I am not a lawyer and I skipped listening to the arguments over the vax mandate because the mandates are patently unconstitutional.

Why waste time on lies?

The court will render a decision in a few weeks that will disappoint true Americans by giving the mandate argument credence. In fact, I suspect the Roberts Court will uphold the mandate by tying it to the congressional power of taxation or the good old interstate commerce clause, which justices created a century ago to allow the federal government to do whatever the hell it wants.

Even if by some slim hope the court strikes the mandates down, it will be unsatisfying because the Roberts Court is always too nice in its dealings with the Constitution. I can see them in conference telling one another well, at least the Faucists mean well.

Here is the decision I want:


No. How about just plain no?

The mandates are so fundamentally wrong that the Court must dispense with the legal niceties and just say no.

Hell no.

Nothing in the Constitution gives the president or Congress or this court the power to force a grown-ass man to be vaccinated. The word health does not appear in the Constitution, nor should it because the government was not set up to protect our health. The Constitution created a government to protect our God-given rights.

The Declaration of Independence set down the foundation on which our Constitution stands.

The Declaration began, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed."

Thomas Jefferson wrote that in the middle of a smallpox epidemic which would kill one-third of the people it infected. A year later, General Washington stayed with his men at Valley Forge while they suffered smallpox. They drilled anyway and he indeed forged a fighting force that would triumph over the world's most powerful military in the 18th century.

As bad as covid is, it is nowhere near as deadly as smallpox. Instead of leading the nation to fight, today's leaders order people to cower and shelter-in-place at home. 

The president's job is to protect the rights of Americans, not their health. The oath of office says, "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

That means the president's first duty before taking any action is to ask himself, "Is this constitutional?"

Vaccine mandates are not constitutional because they force citizens to do something they do not want to do.

As is usually the case with unconstitutional acts, this one is ineffective. The vaccines have not stopped the spread of covid, which is the whole basis of the mandate argument. There is little difference in infection rates. The only advantage in vaccination is in the severity of the illness, and for that reason, it would be wise to be vaccinated.

But that decision is up to the individual, not the government, whose job is to guard that right to decide for oneself.

Let us be clear: The government has no power to force vaccinations upon adult citizens. None. At no level of government.

    1. Roberts will only write the decision if it one of the conservative justices slide over. This case screams give it to Thomas, who increasingly is in charge of the court.

    1. Actually right now the unvaccinated are more likely to be hospitalized than the vaccinated. Comorbidities are not factored into the stats I have seen, nor do they note whether they are actually in for something else and just have covid.

    1. It may reduce the severity of the virus, but not according to Dan Bongino who got it after his cancer caused him to be fully vaxx'ed. I refuse to take the shot because if it reduces severity, the risk from the vaccine itself is more dangerous. And I am 77 with 4 co-morbidities, so I follow the FLCCC protocol to strengthen my immune system. If a man my age could get off a ventilator after his daughter got a court order to allow him to take ivermectin, sevencells ivermectin medication can save me too, if necessary.

  5. First thing, somebody on that G-D Court needs to discover The Ninth and Tenth Amendments of our original Bill of Rights. Then, the Court needs to start overturning all that unconstitutional precedent it built up over the past century while deliberately ignoring those key constitutional proscriptions against unconstitutional governmental intrusion.

  6. Just found out our local Hospital is doing Monoclonal antibodies treatment for Covid on an outpatient basis.
    Hope FKB doesn't find out she'd probably outlaw the treatment to "Greater Idaho.."

    3. Yeah, I got that too, about three days after a positive test, and that made it about three days too late.
      I had stocked up on ivermectin before but all the negative hype made me hesitate to use it for, once again, about three days too long. Never did find a source for HCQ, but would have probably waited too long to use.
      Tell her to be there when the doors open tomorrow and try to find a Tractor Supply store this evening.
      She'll thank you.

  8. I have no faith in the Supreme Court. What is the good of having a majority of conservatives on the court if they don't make a difference and act like liberals lite? I guess we will find out and be mighty disappointed. (I hope I am wrong, but...)

  10. So, let me get this straight... we cannot force the mentally ill to take their meds to combat their mentally illness but we can force people to take a vaccine or face serious consequences, like losing your job.

    Possibly true in the short-term relating to the severity of COVID.

    It's become more clear with each passing week that it's NOT true in regards to long-term health.

    Good rule of thumb based on research I've seen: If someone dies within six months of getting a jab or booster, chances are about 50-50 that the jab caused it.

  15. If they follow their usual approach, their decision will be as narrow as possible, leaving broader issue unresolved. The Biden cartel will take that as permission to go full speed ahead. They absolutely hate resolving issues as much as Congress hates solving problems.

  16. They are not vaccines. They are an experimental gene therapy being administered under an Emergency Use Authorization.

    According to Federal Law:

    "Federal law, Title 21 U.S.C. § 360bbb-3(e)(1)(A)(ii)(I-III) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, states the following about products granted emergency authorization usage:

    Individuals to whom the product is administered are informed—

    (I) that the Secretary has authorized the emergency use of the product;

    (II) of the significant known and potential benefits and risks of such use, and of the extent to which such benefits and risks are unknown; and

    (III) of the option to accept or refuse administration of the product, of the consequences, if any, of refusing administration of the product, and of the alternatives to the product that are available and of their benefits and risks."

    Therefore, mandating that a citizen be injected with this "vaccine" is illegal. Any entity or organization that requires EUA COVID-19 vaccinations, COVID-19 tests or masks are in violation of federal law, and will likely face lawsuits if they don’t allow exemptions or alternatives.

If the scotus says that the government can stick poison in my veins without my permission then I hereby rescind my consent to be governed by these people using this court system interpreting this constitution. Regardless of past incidents of benefit to my ancestors or to myself this government no longer operates by the agreed upon rules.

    The current government operating in the North American AO longer has my permission to govern me.

    I will immediately be forming a different government with like minded individuals and we will be informing you of the shape it will take and the time it will be start.

    The root of medical means "to count." Not to heal, or cure, or relieve. At base, medical systems only measure and count populations that submit to them.
