What a team. pic.twitter.com/uTL4wYHMd4
— The Democrats (@TheDemocrats) January 21, 2022
Democrats have declared that Biden and Kamala are a team.
So were the 1969 Cleveland Indians.
The 1970 Cleveland Indians.
The 1971 Cleveland Indians...
ITEM 1: The Epoch Times reported, "A Filipino man born with an underdeveloped arm and legs found his passion in the weightless ocean and went on to become an international swimming champion. Yet, it wasn’t his first experience of overcoming adversity.
"30-year-old Ernie Gawilan, of Island Garden City in the Samal Davao region of the Philippines, survived an attempted abortion."
He said, "I don’t have fingers on my left hand, and I don’t have feet. Sometimes I get hurt because I’m always bullied, but now I can use my disability to show that disability is not an obstacle to [achieving] the impossible."
It's a lovely story of courage. He had guardian angels named Vicente Ferrazzini and the Maryknoll Sisters of St. Dominic.
Ah yes. Saint Dominique.
ITEM 2: Just the News reported, "Pennsylvania state Senate President Pro Tempore Jake Corman (R-Bellefonte) said this week that there is bipartisan support in the state House of Representatives to file articles of impeachment against Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner (D).
"Corman, who's running for governor, sent a letter to the Republican-led state House on Tuesday, urging them to begin impeachment proceedings against Krasner, citing the prosecutor's refusal to 'hold criminals accountable for the crimes that they commit.'
"Krasner was elected in 2017 with the help of $1.7 million from the George Soros-backed Philadelphia Justice and Public Safety PAC.
"Under Krasner's tenure as district attorney, Philadelphia hit an all-time homicide record in 2021, but less than a tenth of about 21% of shootings that led to criminal charges resulted in convictions, the letter states."
Former Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter called Krasner's take-a-dive approach to crime the "audacity of ignorance and white privilege...I have to wonder what kind of messed up world of White wokeness Krasner is living in to have so little regard for human lives lost, many of them black and brown, while he advances his own national profile as a progressive district attorney."
Finally, a Democrat has admitted just who the victims are.
ITEM 3: Bill Maher opened his new season on HBO with former NYT writer Bari Weiss. They took on the pandemic panic. Maher is a longtime skeptic of vaccinations.
Deadline reported, "Maher said that we now know that vaccination 'does not stop you from getting it. It doesn’t stop you from transmitting it. It just stops you from dying when you do get it. That’s a huge difference, and counteracts that we need the vaccination to protect other people. It protects you, so it’s just about you.'
"Weiss agreed. 'The point is if you’re choosing not to get (vaccinated), we’re not stopping the world for the sake of those foolish (unvaccinated) people.'"
I got mine. You do you.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Richard Feynman said, "I would rather have questions that can't be answered than answers that can't be questioned."
He was scientist, not a bureaucrat in a lab coat.
ITEM 4: The Post Millennial reported, "Russia, Ukraine, France, and Germany to hold talks on eastern Ukraine, without U.S."
After Afghanistan, would you trust us?
ITEM 5: Axios reported, "The State Department will begin evacuating families and non-essential staff from the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv this week, according to a travel advisory published Sunday evening.
"Why it matters: The move underscores U.S. fears that a Russian invasion could destabilize Ukraine and threaten embassy's ability to assist Americans."
Blinken should be teaching CRT at a junior high.
Clinton's Fleetwood Mac song was Don't Stop (Thinking About Tomorrow).
Biden's is Over My Head.
ITEM 6: Just the News reported, "President Joe Biden is considering deploying thousands of troops, in addition to aircraft and warships, to NATO allies across Eastern Europe and the Baltics as tensions mount on the Russia-Ukraine border, administration officials reportedly told The New York Times.
"The United States sent more than 80 tons of military equipment costing $200 million to Ukraine over the weekend, the country's Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov said on Sunday."
War! Good God, y'all. What is it good for?
Besides winning a midterm.
TWEETS OF THE DAY:
Do you think General Milley is calling our enemies because he's worried Biden could be starting WWIII?
— Tim Young (@TimRunsHisMouth) January 24, 2022
Oh, I do not wonder at all.
Vindman helped create the disastrous US policy that he is now complaining about. https://t.co/vgwT8B4dKg
— Richard Grenell (@RichardGrenell) January 23, 2022
The Brothers Vindman just happened to be from Ukraine and just happened to be on the National Security Council.
ITEM 7: Legal Insurrection reported, "Politifact Rushes to Biden’s Aid After ‘Bull Connor’ Smear Backfires."
(Checks calendar. Sees it is 2022, not 2008 when Politifact was relevant.)
Hookers gotta hook.
ITEM 8: The New York Post reported, "Mayor Eric Adams vowed Sunday 'to roll out a real plan' this week to try to curb Big Apple gun violence after Friday’s shooting that left an NYPD rookie cop dead and another officer fighting for his life.
"'This is a sea of crime that’s being fed by many rivers, and we need to dam each one of those rivers, and we have been unsuccessful [in doing] so throughout the years,' said the mayor, a former NYPD captain.
"'These crimes did not start during my administration, they have been here for far too long, in many parts of our community,' he said.
"'I’m going to roll out a real plan this week when I speak to the New York public, and we’re going to go after the underlying reasons you’re seeing crime in our city.'"
Any time a Democrat says he is going to fix the underlying reasons, he means he is going to ignore the problem and use it to further socialism.
We have blown $30 trillion over the past 30 years on anti-poverty programs. Poverty persists and crime has returned to 1990s levels.
Prison works.
ITEM 9: AP reported, "Black voters in South Carolina handed President Joe Biden a major victory in the 2020 primary.
"A year into Biden’s presidency, some say they’re unimpressed or dispirited. Others hope that his administration will have more accomplishments over time."
So he has disappointed them just like Obama did.
ITEM 10: The New York Daily News reported, "Rite Aid is making the wrong move. That’s the word from workers and patrons of a popular Manhattan branch of the drug store chain who say the pharmacy is shutting its doors for good next month because of a rash of thefts. The days are numbered at Rite Aid’s Eighth Ave. and W. 50th St. location."
Silly Manhattanites.
Did they really think they were immune to this stuff?
ITEM 11: The Daily Mail reported, "President Joe Biden praised his 'partner' Vice President Kamala Harris for 'always having my back' during a Democratic National Committee grassroots event Friday, telling her 'I love you' as critics continue to slam their first year in office.
"'Hi, Kamala. I love you,' Biden said during his opening remarks. 'You always have my back. You're really amazing. You're the best partner I could imagine.'
"Smiling, Harris replied: 'I do.'"
They make a good couple. He has the ability to make Jimmy Carter look presidential. She has the ability to make Hillary seem sincere.
ITEM 12: CBC -- the CNN of Canada -- reported, "Hundreds of truckers set off from B.C. for Ottawa in 'Freedom Rally' against federal vaccine mandate."
The story said, "The protest has been dubbed the "Freedom Rally" against the federal mandate for cross-border truckers, which went into effect on Jan. 15.
"Canadian truck drivers now need to be fully vaccinated if they want to avoid a two-week quarantine and pre-arrival molecular test for covid before crossing into Canada.
"The Canadian Trucking Alliance and the American Trucking Associations say up to 26,000 of the 160,000 drivers who make regular trips across the Canada-U.S. border are likely to be sidelined as a result of the vaccine mandate."
It is too late to stop the spread of the virus. Two years ago was too late. It's a virus. It spreads.
ITEM 13: Breitbart reported, "The Economist pointed to the growing diversity of gun owners in America and noted that it is “bad for gun-control advocates.”
"According to The Economist, a study by of Northeastern University shows that of the millions of first time buyers between January 2019 and April 2021, 'half were female, a fifth black and a fifth Hispanic.'"
Guns. They are not just for rednecks anymore.
Thank you, Dick Heller, for fighting to the highest court in the land to end urban bans on gun ownership.
ITEM 14: Josh Freed of Special to Montreal Gazette wrote, "I have a confession to make: I recently fled Quebec for a week, a refugee from Legault’s 2.0 curfew-and-confinement rules."
Freed tasted freedom.
He hated it.
He wrote, "While Quebec is in full confinement mode, Florida is Cowboyland, where you barely know covid is happening, despite much higher new case and hospitalization rates than ours.
"It’s lunacy by Canadian standards, but an eye-opening experience. For starters, everyone’s out and about, filling bars, restaurants, movies, gyms, and jam-packed sports arenas."
Poor little snowbird.
He ended his column, "Meanwhile, every Florida pharmacy does free PCR tests, even for travelling foreigners. It seems bizarre in a country with no universal medicare, where people are often bankrupted by medical bills.
"But when we went for our free test at a pharmacy, there were a dozen people waiting, all wearing masks, the only place I’d seen that all week.
"For the first time, it felt a bit like home."
You have the freedom to wear a mask or not wear a mask. Your body, your choice.
But many people prefer to have the government decide. The scientific name for them is idiots.
ITEM 15: Axios reported, "Why you're seeing so much coverage of empty American grocery shelves."
Spoiler alert: Because the shelves are empty.
Empty shelves show America is finally feeling the effects of decades of creeping communism finally catch up with us.
ITEM 16: The Washington Examiner reported, "President Joe Biden's New Year's resolution to focus on the 2022 midterm elections will not be universally welcomed by Democratic candidates as the party tries to buck history and hold on to congressional power."
Not every Democrat is a blithering imbecile, unlike their party's leader.
FINALLY, as Mars turns its M&M's into LGBT icons, remember one thing. Pervs use candy to lure children into the van.
We are in Gomorrah, folks.
“Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.”
ReplyDeleteActs 2:40. Still relevant.
So to sum up
ReplyDeleteGetting the US into a war with a country that could shoot down our large transport planes as easily as Alvin York shoots down wild turkeys ... showing presidential resolve
Trying to expose the kind of corruption that would lead to this situation in the first damned place ... historic presidential malfeasance
Yep.
DeleteItem 5: And the GOP's song will be... oh you already know... Landslide
ReplyDeleteNot really my business since I'm neither a US citizen nor a -- how you say in English? -- Undocumented Democrat, but...
DeletePlease please please, Normal Americans, don't get complacent. They've already perfected election fraud to the point where they heisted a presidential election. Don't fool yourselves into thinking that they intend to rest on their laurels!
Are leftist journos even in touch with the physical world at all? Florida, (not to mention my state, AZ) can be less restrictive about any and all coronaviri because it can. Theres the sun which boosts Vitamin D and allows people to gather outdoors. In AZ, theres much less crowding
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the reasons snowbirds flock to these states in Jan and Feb -- to escape the cold and flu seasons! This is why my COPD afflicted mother fled Philly to AZ -- because the cold and flu seasons back East almost DID do her in. I understood this before I reached the Catholic "Age of Reason"
And yet media weenies who all live stacked on top of each other in Eastern cities, showing the intellectual flexibility of monitor lizards at a water buffalo kill do nothing but demonize
Even in the land of eternal darkness, people can get their life-saving Vitamin D from a little pill. I’ve lived in Florida most of my life, but it has been decades since my fun-in-the-sun days (and driving top-down in my Miata).
DeleteMy doctor tests all of his patients for their Vitamin D level at every annual checkup. Most doctors don’t test, so people don’t know they have a suboptimal Vitamin D level, which is the primary reason they’re chronically sick, especially in the winter. A bottle of year-round good health, with bonus COVID resistance, costs less than ten bucks.
https://www.samsclub.com/p/mm-vitamin-d3-5000iu-400ct/prod17690276
Living in the land of ice and snow, Vitamin D is essential. Our milk is fortified with Vitamin D to ensure that children get it. I drink a lot of milk so I don't take the supplements.
DeleteI live in North Texas and try to golf every day, weather permitting. I do it for the vitamin D (medicinal purposes). That's my story and I'm sticking to it..
DeleteI started seeing a Nephrologist to make sure a kidney cycst was benign (it was) and after testing for everything he put me on vitamin D. I get lots of sunshine but some people can't get all their D that way. Feeling great!
DeleteLennie, if Canada was as populous as Phoenix Arizona, the shivering in September would register on the Richter scale.
DeleteItem 14: “when we went for our free test at a pharmacy, there were a dozen people waiting, all wearing masks” There’s a name for healthy people freely choosing to go have someone tell them if they’re sick — Democrats. Hint: They are sick. Every one of ’em.
ReplyDelete10 - from the article “ There were 74 complaints from that single Rite Aid store since Jan. 1, 2020, including 45 reports of petty larceny, or shoplifting, according to NYPD data. The other complaints included nine grand larcenies and eight robberies.”
ReplyDeleteThat’s just a months worth of crime in San Francisco. Toughen up, New York!!
12 - it’s all about control now for liberal governments. They can’t be that stupid to still think that forced vaxxing makes a difference. Can they? Or is it the and? They are stupid and power mad.
15 - Axios propaganda is downplaying the shortages. What a BS article. The actual answer, which they are avoiding is Fuck Joe Biden.
ITEM 3: ‘It just stops you from dying when you do get it. …’
ReplyDeleteEvery other rationale for the vaccines has collapsed yet we still accept this one as gospel. Why?
Yeah, so instead of risking dying of COVID (99 point-something % survival rate, IF you even catch it), you can actively expose yourself to risk of adverse effects (up to and including death) from the clot-shots. I agree completely with Don about "you do you". Each individual needs to decide for themselves re taking the shot, taking their own specific circumstances into account.
Delete-- Maoz
Perhaps it stop you from dying from COVID because you die from the shot instead.
DeleteExactly. Who knows what this shot does besides make money for Big Pharma.
DeleteDr. Malone: "If there's a risk (and according to VAERS data there's HUGE risk) there MUST be a choice!"
DeleteAgree with all above. But to follow the You Do You philosophy demands Informed Consent/Dissent. However, with the entire medical/public health establishment concealing critical information on vaccine safety and efficacy as well as censoring anything that suggests that there are several imminently efficacious and universally safe and incredibly inexpensive therapeutics available in vast quantities, Informed consent is impossible. Sorry, they have moved us all beyond You Do You. We're now at You Do What We Tell You To Do.
DeleteThey use the less sick canard because it can't be proved or disproved. Doesn't matter if you're vaccinated or unvaccinated, if you get Covid your symptoms will normally be pretty mild.
DeleteExactly.
DeleteHurrumph!
Delete#3 No one is asking Bari Weiss to do anything except to maybe just shut up!
ReplyDeleteItem 14: I live in SW Florida and work in a golf store part time. The ONLY people wearing masks in the store are not from Florida, that much I can tell you and when a masked person asks me a question I cannot understand them and tell them so, which eventually forces them to remove the mask to speak to me. It is my own little protest.
ReplyDeleteI too live in SW Florida and three weeks ago before the snow birds hit no one in the grocery store was wearing a mask. Now half the people are. They are all pale. Is that a hint?
DeleteIt's the snowbirds. They are conditioned to mask up.
Delete#4 NATO hasn't had a purpose in 30 years, but France and Germany will take our money and our military industrial complex. Democrats Go Back To The future, pay no attention to everything we have achieved since 1-21-21 "The Russians are Coming!"
ReplyDeleteWhere's Carl Reiner when you need him?
Delete"Emergency, emergency, everybody into the street!"
DeleteI lived on the south coast-Port Orford Oregon for 20 years. the movie was filmed in Mendecino, Ca. just down the coast.
Item 5: oh well,Don't ask me what I think of you
ReplyDeleteMight not give the answer that you want me to!
#11 She said yes! I can't recall any POTUS in history sending a video Valentine to his VP. Kamala, I love you. who does that?
ReplyDeleteA guy with dementia?
DeleteYes, a guy not in his right mind.
DeleteIt's great that he loves her. Someone should. The rest of us would love to see her become our first embassador to Pluto.
Delete#3: When I see Fauci and acolytes shouting "vaccine", with small concern for the subtleties, the nuances, for society, I see a little man simply covering his ass. Fauci and Collins supported the Chinese experiments creating the virus. Upwards of 5 million dead now. Fauci and Collins doing ok.
ReplyDeleteItem 3, yes, it seems like the vax can reduce the risk of hospitalization and death in covid patients. But not nearly as much as allowing doctors to prescribe Ivermectin as soon as symptoms arrive, and preventing pharmacies from refusing to fill said prescription. Also, Thought for the Day: brilliant!
ReplyDeleteItem 4, in other words all the countries that have a direct or indirect stake in what happens in Ukraine were present.
Item 5, if I had a song it would be "I'm a Lonely Little Petunia in an Onion Patch" by Arthur Godfrey.
Item 6, Grenell: Vindman helped create the disastrous policy... Vindman, et al complained at the time that Trump was acting contrary to the wise policy that was the status quo at the time, nothing more. Trump was right. Vindman et al were wrong. That policy is once again status quo, with predictable results.
Item 8, Mayor Adams, please see item 2.
Item 12, the covid virus went viral two years ago. Also, if you're planning to build something buy the plywood now. Don't wait.
Item 14, not for nothing but does anybody know what country produces all these PCR and so called free Antigen test kits? Does it start with a Chin?
Item 16, did any politician of any party ever not focus exclusively on the next election? Sure occasionally they get something done, for better or worse, but isn't it Always done for an advantage in the next election? (It's almost always for worse.)
11-So a few things I read this weekend may prove that Obama is actually running the country. A video of Pelosi talking about Obama's build back better plan, Psaki mentioning president Obama in an interview with Joy Behar and now the US is helping Iran pay their UN debt...if all this is true and Obama is still running the country that takes Biden off the hook as worse president ever.
ReplyDelete#14 I just recovered from the COOF. I and my friend came down with it at he same time, both vacced, Her boss is the one who probably gave it to the whole store she works in. I've been keeping up with D3,Zinc,C. etc. Never got any sicker than a bad cold. stayed out for 5 days Tested clear twice, she's had the original, last year for her it was just a sniffle.
ReplyDeleteAt Cowboy church yesterday, talked to a local ER doc,who goes there. Ex-USAF Pararescue.Classic Steve Canyon type. He said:"We need to get people immune by getting Omnicron. Herd immunity Vacced the ones who are
having issues, otherwise let it rip." We'll be out of this by spring.."
Brother Doug...So similar to my experience. She got it, passed it to me, and now we luxuriate in the beautiful antibodies. And yes, vitamin D, vitamin C, and Zinc. I add B12 because I drink too damn much. But those women...that's love.
DeleteThe long-term side effects of the GMO jab are not going to be pretty. I didn't do me.
ReplyDeleteWell no booster for me same with my friend. Now I've got natural immunity. Screw'em, Oh, and FJB,
Deleteand his little dog,FKB.
I am going to be forced to get a booster because it's going to be part of my vaccine passport. I don't want it but if I would like any semblance of normal, that's the requirement. Yeah, I know. It makes no sense, it's crazy and it's totalitarian.
DeleteCleveland Indians - There were many such painful years. Even more painful was the Jose Mesa blown save in the World Series which cost the Tribe a championship…
ReplyDeleteItem 4 - Under Biden, the US military has become a real life version of the old comedy “F Troop”.
Item 8 - The only real long term solution to crime includes two components - School choice for all and two parents in the household. It would take a generation for this to become fully effective, but it would work. How many prisoners have a good education and a two parent household?? Let’s stop the waste of human capital and the ruination of lives.
Item 14 - Idiots is a fair description, but don’t rule out imbecile and moron as potential choices…
re: Item 2 - Move to impeach all of the progressive DAs. If not, voters deserve what they get.
ReplyDeleteWhy do you keep blaming "voters" when it's obvious that there is extensive voter fraud in this country?
DeleteIs there voter fraud for electing DAs? I am not saying it isn't widespread, but when you vote for some of these progressive DAs, it's on you as the voter.
DeleteAnd here in NYC our previous mayor gave his wife a cushy job, our new mayor appointed his brother to head his security detail, and on and on. So many people come into an administration that the voters had nothing to do with.
DeleteThere's election fraud in every area and there are plenty of people here who did not vote for them. Unfortunately the acid rain of the progressive garbage falls on voters for and voters against alike.
DeleteSystems should be improved, for sure. However, the buck still stops with voters.
DeleteCalifornia voted 2:1 for Hillary and Biden. This is the country we live in.
DeleteItems 5-6 and anything to do with a possible war with Russia: This possibility really worries me because not only would the U.S. have zero reason to be involved it would play right into China's hands. I would like to see massive anti-war protests. I would support them.
ReplyDeleteTed Cruz and Lindsey Graham are all in on with Russia. Republicans never saw a war they didn't like.
DeleteI don't see where any war with Russia is going to be beneficial ; the LibCommies can't stand the thought that all of their misdeeds will come to light just as soon as Putin takes control of Ukraine .
DeleteItem 9 re: Black voters and the Democrats -- Like Trump said, What have you got to lose by voting Republican.
ReplyDeleteThe black vote is a pipe dream (e.g., the last election). Focus efforts on the Hispanic vote.
DeleteYes, I see your point.
Deletere: item 12 - The CBC (Canada's publicly owned broadcaster) is far worse than CNN and MSNBC. It is so woke that it is unwatchable. That said, the result of the truckers' protests will be more empty shelves. Insanity.
ReplyDeletere: item 14 and the Montreal Gazette columnist who vacationed in Florida and didn't like freedom. Sigh, my head hurts. I am living in a province of neurotics who like being told what to do. I love freedom!
ReplyDeleteFreedom is everything.
DeleteAnd people have willingly given it up during this pandemic to be "safe." A very big mistake.
DeleteMove to Arizona!
Deletere: the FINALLY item. I have always preferred Smarties. I don't eat the red one last.
ReplyDeleteItem 8: "The United States sent more than 80 tons of military equipment costing $200 million to Ukraine over the weekend, the country's Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov said on Sunday."
ReplyDeleteI guess that means they sent one tank and some ammo...
Battle Tank M1A2 SEP v3: 73.6 short tons (66.8 t)
Oops... Item 6 (not 8: "The United States sent more than 80 tons of military equipment costing $200 million to Ukraine over the weekend, the country's Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov said on Sunday."
ReplyDeleteI guess that means they sent one tank and some ammo...
Battle Tank M1A2 SEP v3: 73.6 short tons (66.8 t)
80 tons is 160,000 pounds. Divide that into $200 million and you get $1,250 per pound. The stuff must be gold plated. Taxpayers love reading things like this.
DeleteDonald John Trump is still our president.
ReplyDeleteMasthead: You could say the same about the Waffen SS.
3: It just stops you from dying when you do get it.
It doesn't even do that.
6: Get ready to party like it's 1914.
8: So does Old Sparky.
9: Black voters in South Carolina handed President Joe Biden a major victory in the 2020 primary.
No, it was Jim Clyburn.
11: These days partner usually means bed buddy. Know we know why Brandon was so discombobulated.
It's an ill VP that blows no good.
12: Baby Trudeau is messing with the Teamsters.
14: The scientific name for them is idiots.
No, you're talking about slaves.
15: We also saw it 2 years ago.
It's the effect of 50 years of Deep State Dwarf.
16: Not every Democrat is a blithering imbecile, unlike their party's leader.
Wanna bet?
They went along with this nonsense in '20.
FINALLY: Get woke, go broke. This will go over like New Coke.
14 - Medical bankruptcies in fact are not very common at all. This author once again demonstrating he has no clue about what he is talking about. Which unfortunately is way TOO common amongst our journalistic class.
ReplyDeleteItem #6: We are in a pickle. We have billions of our highest tech military equipment sitting on a border that will take only 48 hours to breach. The prize for Putin is not a country. It's our defensive technology which they can take as booty. We're talking priceless.
ReplyDeleteThe Taliban has been selling our military tech to China, Iran and Russia. This will be the icing on their cakes.
Bankruptcy lawyer. You are wrong. Three main causes of bankruptcy: job loss, divorce and medical bills.
ReplyDelete#3 - Bill Maher is wrong about not dying from/with Covid after being VAXXXed.
ReplyDeleteThousands have died after getting the VAXXX and then getting C-1984 - https://www.ibtimes.com/10857-fully-vaccinated-americans-have-died-covid-19-30000-hospitalized-3326930
What is really missing is the footnote as to why black and brown people are buying guns. Hint: it's not because of my tax paying, home owning, non-murdering white arse.
