Monkeys kill puppies. Libs side with monkeys

OpIndia reported, "Maharashtra: Angry monkeys exact revenge by killing 250 dogs after a puppy kills a baby monkey.

"As per local reports, the killing spree started after a few dogs killed an infant monkey, following which a troop of monkeys consumed by the fire of revenge went on a rampage, catching puppies and dropping them from considerable heights to their miserable deaths."

The report said the monkeys grab the pups and take them to rooftops where they die of starvation or drop them from trees.

The New Indian Express reported, "The attempts by the local people to put an end to this animosity went in vain. Despite them informing the forest department, the officials initially could do little. The monkeys meanwhile went berserk and even started attacking school children."

The story is so bizarre that it made the news halfway around the world.

And in the United States, Vice is there to side with the monkeys.

It reported, "Although instances of 'vengeful' primate behavior have been reported in the media previously, wildlife experts have called for caution before labelling animals as such without conclusive evidence. 

"'We often tend to associate human sentiments to any animal. We call it revenge, or call them angry or ‘aggressive’ without truly understanding the depth of it or the ramifications of associating anthropomorphic traits to animals,' Sumanth Bindumadhav, senior manager of wildlife disaster response for Humane Society International India, told Vice World News. 

"'What is unfair is that without further investigation into the matter, the authorities have gone ahead and begun capturing the primates involved, which is a welfare concern and only contributes to increasing conflict with primates,' added Bindumadhav."

In the La-La Land that liberals call home, the monkeys are not killers, they are just misunderstood. We have to see the killing -- or as Vice put it, "fatally dropping 250 puppies from trees" --- through the eyes of the monkeys.
