ITEM 1: The Post Millennial reported, "Oregon dad Jared Schmeck, the man who prank called President Joe Biden on Christmas Eve, has revealed to the media that he is now receiving threatening phone calls over the Let's Go Brandon joke. 'And now I am being attacked for utilizing my freedom of speech,' 35-year-old Schmeck, a former Medford police officer and father of four children, told The Oregonian newspaper Saturday."

After The Oregonian outed him, he received death threats.

Support local newspapers so they can out any local man who dares prank our Great Leader.

ITEM 2: The Detroit News reported, "The indictment against five men accused of plotting to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer should be dismissed due to egregious overreaching by federal agents and informants, defense lawyers wrote in a coordinated attempt to scuttle the high-profile case three months before trial.

"According to the filing, FBI agents and federal prosecutors capitalized on discontent with Whitmer's handling of COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, invented a conspiracy and entrapped five people who face up to life in prison if convicted of kidnapping conspiracy in a case that has shed light on violent extremism in Michigan."

Once again, the FBI sets someone up for a fall. Abscam, Marion Berry, January 6, and now this.

I hope the judge tosses the case and unloads on the prosecutors.

ITEM 3: The Daily Mail reported, "Vice President Kamala Harris said in an interview that aired Sunday that she doesn't think she was 'set up to fail.'"

I agree.

The full credit for her failure belongs to her.

ITEM 4: CBS reported, "New Yorkers Wait In Rain For Christmas Day Covid Tests."

Standing in the cold rain shows how concerned about their health they are. And of course, they did not social distance because it was a line and people cut in.

ITEM 5: The Daily Mail reported, "Door-to-door teams armed with Covid jabs will be sent to the homes of unvaccinated Britons in plans being considered by Ministers to reach the estimated five million people yet to be inoculated.

"Discussions between the Department of Health, NHS England and No 10 over the past week have looked at a nationwide drive to send vaccine teams to areas with low uptake rates as a crucial way to avoid lockdown and other restrictions.

"It is also seen as a way to get jabs to rural areas or households where people cannot easily get to a vaccination center."

I can just see it now.

The team says: Open up. This is the police. We want to jab you with something.

ITEM 6: Red State reported, "Media Whines About New Study Finding Omicron Hard to Distinguish From Common Cold."

Omicron is covid evolving into another cold virus.

ITEM 7: Trending Politics reported, "Marines Boot 169 for Refusing the Jab, Deny All Religious Exemption Requests So Far."

The wrong end of the corps is being dismissed. I would remove 169 senior officers to send the message that the Marines will be about winning wars again.

ITEM 8: Proud Army Brat tweeted, "A Mayfield, Kentucky man was devastated after losing his home & his beloved cat 9 day’s ago. As he sat in the debris today, he heard a faint meow..He said his knees got weak. He dug & there was his cat, alive. 

"Merry Christmas to him & Matrix."

The cat showed its gratitude by not clawing him.

ITEM 9: Breitbart reported, "A USA Swimming official has resigned over the organization’s continued support of transgender University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas, who has been smashing women’s swimming records this season.

"Thomas competed on the men’s team for the school for nearly three seasons before taking a year off to transition to a woman. This season, he joined the women’s team and has been smashing records, not by mere seconds."

I agree that men should not compete in women's sports but I thank Thomas for showing the world the ridiculousness of pretending women's sports are equal to men's.

ITEM 10: Gateway Pundit reported, "Joe Biden ignored the anniversary of the fall of the Soviet Union which occurred 30 years ago on December 25,1991. The anniversary fell as Russian President Vladimir Putin is threatening the former Soviet captive nation of Ukraine with invasion. There have been no statements from either the White House, State Department or Secretary Blinken on the anniversary of the greatest U.S. military and diplomatic triumph of the latter half of the 20th Century."

The Soviets killed 100 million people to attain and maintain power.

Biden must mourn its passing.

ITEM 11: Yahoo reported, "Democratic Maryland Sen. Ben Cardin on Sunday said the Democrats are prepared to move forward on the Build Back Better bill, but conceded that 'a lot of us are gonna be disappointed.'

"'We are prepared to move. We just need to make sure we have unanimity in our caucus. And that's what we're working on and we will start on that next week when we return,' Cardin said on Fox News Sunday."

Well, when you only have half the Senate and refuse to work with the other side for the country's greater good, this is what happens. 

ITEM 12: The Root reported, "Herschel Walker is Rich AF.

"We don’t know yet how good Herschel Walker is at politics, but candidacy for the U.S. Senate is revealing that he’s pretty good at getting a bag.

"The Heisman winner turned NFL star turned MMA fighter turned MAGA-world politician recently filed required financial disclosures with the Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with his run for the Republican nomination for Senate from Georgia. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Walker doesn’t exactly need the job.

"He’s pulling in money hand over fist, to the tune of $1.3 million in wages, while owning businesses worth between $25 million and $50 million. The businesses generate as much as $3.2 million in profit."

ITEM 13: Red State reported, "Amazon Partners With Chinese Propaganda Arm, Deletes Reviews Critical of Communist Party Books."

Amazon has all the money in the world. It does not need to do this. Amazon officials want to be subservient to some government.

ITEM 14: Fox reported, "NASCAR driver who unintentionally sparked ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ chant says corporations don’t want to sponsor him."

Meanwhile, the Jussie Smollett of NASCAR -- Bubba Wallace -- has no problem attracting sponsors.

ITEM 15: Just the News reported, "The state of Florida is taking action against the communist country of China and woke corporations operating in the state, Gov. Ron DeSantis says.

"The state will investigate its holdings in Chinese companies and 'retake control of its shareholder proxy voting from ideology-crazed investment funds,' the governor said.

"DeSantis made the announcement after holding a meeting with two other State Board of Administration trustees, Florida’s Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis and Attorney General Ashley Moody. All three comprise the Board of Trustees and have ultimate oversight over the SBA, its two chief officials and more than 200 professional investment and administrative support staff.

"The three trustees voted to make several significant policy changes impacting how the SBA invests the proceeds of the state’s retirement system investment plan and over 30 funds the SBA is tasked with overseeing by state statute."

That's good.

Fight back.

But I believe states should dump the investment managers altogether and put their money in a stock index fund. Low fees. No politicking. Everyone knows how the state is doing 24/7.

ITEM 16: The Washington Examiner reported, "1619 Project author says she doesn’t understand why parents should have a say in school curriculum."

Nikole Hannah-Jones doesn't understand a lot of things. History. Journalism. Parenting.

But one thing she does understand is Black Privilege. She can milk white guilt as good as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.

FINALLY, the New York Post reported, "Vice President Kamala Harris appeared to misspeak during an interview aired Sunday when she answered democracy when asked what’s the biggest national security challenge facing the U.S."

She is right but for the wrong reason. She cited people disagreeing with the administration. Asked what her national security worries are, she said, "​Frankly, one of them is our democracy. There is,​ I think, no question in the minds of people who are foreign policy experts that the year 2021 is not the year 2000​."

Politics once ended where the ocean began. No more. Democrats began undermining Republican foreign policy under Nixon. That is a problem Biden could have solved by keeping Trump's policies, particularly along the Mexican border.

The problem with democracy is that it is mob rule. Mob rule leads to riots. The Tulsa Riot of 1921 differs from the Riots of 2020 only in the color of the rioters.

Ours is a constitutional republic that protects individuals from the mob while at the same time recognizing the rule by a majority.
