Highlights of the News

ITEM 1: The Salvation Army decided to save itself by walking back its woke.

Just the News reported, "The Salvation Army has withdrawn its controversial 'Let's Talk About ... Racism' guide following criticism and donor backlash over the text that asked white supporters of the charity group to deliver sincere apologies for their race and the past sins of the Church.

"As a result of some of the guide's more extreme positions becoming public, donors and supporters across the country have been rescinding their support of the organization.

"In a statement titled 'The Salvation Army's Response to False Claims on the Topic of Racism,' the 156-year-old organization denies that the purpose of the guide or subsequent discussions revolving around the guide were meant to tell anyone how to think. However, the group has also opted to withdraw the guide for appropriate review.

"The group is perhaps best known for collecting coins and paper money in red kettles outside of stores during the Christmas holiday season with a member ringing a bell.  

"The statement, in part, also reads: 'The Salvation Army occasionally publishes internal study guides on various complex topics to help foster positive conversations and grace-filled reflection among Salvationists. By openly discussing these issues, we always hope to encourage the development of a more thoughtful organization that is better positioned to support those in need. But no one is being told how to think. Period.'"

Stereotyping all persons of one race as being privileged and the like is racism.

Apology accepted. Now back to helping the down-and-out. I'll write a check.

ITEM 2: Just a reminder, a black nationalist and career criminal drove a red SUV into the Waukesha Christmas Parade, plowing into more than 50 people, killing 6. 

The media quickly moved on after devoting more than a year to Kyle Rittenhouse killing two men who were going to beat him to death, and wounding a man who pulled a handgun on him. All three were white career criminals. The media called Rittenhouse a white supremacist and wanted him hanged.

ITEM 3: New York Times columnist David Brooks said, "I want a white-hot economy. I want a white-hot economy that will raise wages at the bottom, which is happening, that will bring people back into the labor force, which is happening, which is spreading wealth around the country and not concentrating in a few cities."

He is so concerned about low-wage earners that he voted against the first president in decades whose economic policies helped the lowest quadrille of wage-earners.

He's got rent-control and a stock portfolio, which makes inflation good for him. The rest of us can just suck up $5.99 a pound ground beef and $5.99 a gallon gasoline next year.

ITEM 4: Sean Hannity posted a video, "Looters looting other looters in San Francisco."

Just remember, Al Capone killed more gangsters than Eliot Ness did.

ITEM 5: AP reported, "A federal judge on Monday blocked President Joe Biden’s administration from enforcing a coronavirus vaccine mandate on thousands of health care workers in 10 states that had brought the first legal challenge against the requirement."

Trump judge.

The 10 states are Alaska, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming. 

The Constitution may yet save us.

ITEM 6: OANN reported, "A Texas court forced the Biden administration to reinstate the Remain in Mexico policy, a system where migrants crossing Mexico headed for the U.S. stay in Mexico while they await a court date for asylum. Remain in Mexico was first implemented in 2019 by 45th President Donald Trump after months of negotiations with the Mexican government."

Trump gave Mexico an ultimatum: either you protect our border or we impose tariffs. Then he took off for England. A few days later, Mexico said No Mas.

Biden threw that away.

ITEM 7: Yahoo reported, "Video of a polar bear attacking and killing a reindeer shows how the species are adapting their diet.

"Polish scientists stationed in Norway's Svalbard archipelago believe this is the first time such an interaction has been captured on film.

"Shaky hand-held-footage shot in 2020 shows the apex predator swimming closely behind its frightened prey.

"The adult female then pulls the reindeer underwater and drowns it."

Why didn't the reindeer just fly away?

The story went on to blame global warming. I call reindeer poo on that one. Polar bears are overpopulating, as are the reindeer. This takes care of one of those problems. More hunting would take care of the other problem.

ITEM 8: The New York Times reported, "South African health officials urged the public on Monday not to panic over the emergence of the new Omicron variant of the coronavirus, which appears to be driving a new wave of cases in the country.

"It is still too soon, they said, to make solid assessments of whether Omicron has a higher rate of transmission or will cause more hospitalizations or severe illness."

The truth is coming out after Biden and other world leaders destroyed tourism in South Africa.

Covid is merely a means to expand the unconstitutional powers of our banana republic president.

ITEM 9: The Washington Post said, "Omicron travel bans on African countries are 'Afrophobia,' Malawi's president says."

ITEM 10: PJ Media reported, "White House Suspends Vaccine Mandate for Fed Employees."

Biden caves so often, are we sure he isn't a Republican?

ITEM 11: The Independent reported, "Staff at a pub cut off by snow were preparing a karaoke evening on Sunday as they expect guests to be unable to escape for a third night.

"More than 60 people have spent two nights camped out at Britain’s highest pub due to heavy snowfall brought on by Storm Arwen.

"Customers first became stranded at the Tan Hill Inn, in the Yorkshire Dales, on Friday night after going to watch an Oasis tribute band called Noasis.

"Those staying at the inn, which is 1,732 feet above sea level, woke up to around 3 feet of snow.

"Due to a fallen power line and snow blocking the main routes out, they have been unable to leave since."

The band had better be good because after 3 days of hearing the same song over and over again, a snowstorm is a good excuse to resort to cannibalism.

But booze makes anything sound good.

ITEM 12: The Hollywood Reporter reported, "Disney+ Drops ‘Simpsons’ Episode in Hong Kong Because of Tiananmen Square Joke."

Disney is run by Maoists. They picked the most wholesome, most American studio in Hollywood and turned it into PC trash.

ITEM 13: Becker News reported, "CNN’s Kaitlin Collins asked White House press secretary Jen Psaki: 'Is Biden now considering mandating vaccinations to fly domestically>'

"'Well, I think what you heard the president say — I think — it was hard to hear the question, so I think this was a question that was asked, but was that he wasn’t taking any options off the table, but he’s going to rely on that advice of his health and medical experts,' Psaki responded."

He needs to consult some lawyers because the Constitution prohibits restrictions on interstate travel.

To date, none of the measures taken on "advice of his health and medical experts" has thwarted covid.

ITEM 14: 100% Fed Up reported, "Hunter Biden has made millions peddling his father’s influence, from sitting on the board of a corrupt Ukrainian gas company, to helping China secure cobalt mines for electric cars.  Now, it has been revealed that Hunter was paid $30 million to help expand Red Chinese influence and given an $80,000 diamond."

Cue Marilyn Monroe.

ITEM 15: Jack Dorsey is out as CEO of Twitter.

The Daily Mail reported, "Republicans have slammed the new Twitter CEO who boasted last year that the company is 'not bound by the First Amendment' while a 2010 tweet has today resurfaced in which he appears to call all white people racist.

"Parag Agrawal, 45, was named the new CEO of the social media giant early on Monday, after serving as the company's chief technology officer since 2017."

He was born in India. We should send that no-good racist back.

ITEM 16: Breitbart reported, "Tom Suozzi (D-NY) announced he is joining the already crowded race for New York governor, challenging Kathy Hochul, who has had less than a year on the job since she was elevated to the position.

"'I am running for Governor of NY as a common sense Democrat who gets things done,' Suozzi tweeted Monday morning. 'I have the track record, common sense approach to governing and bold new vision to get it done. I can do it, because I’ve done it!'

"The congressman who has voted 100 percent of the time on major votes with Pelosi allowing her to pass partisan policies, also represents a largely suburban House district, which could potentially help him in his gubernatorial bid; however, leaving the seat would be a struggle for Democrats to defend without a popular incumbent such as Suozzi. Thus, potentially giving Republicans a likely seat to pick up in New York since Democrats have struggled to find new candidates willing to run for office."

There are no common sense Democrats because all the Democrats with common sense became Republicans.

ITEM 17: The Blaze reported, "Comedian canceled by venue for 'inappropriate jokes' gets last laugh."

It said, "Stand-up comedian Andrew Schulz was set to appear in Toronto, Canada, for a stop in his comedy tour. However the venue he was allegedly booked at decided to cancel the event because he tells inappropriate jokes. Schulz not only recovered from being canceled, but he went and sold out an even bigger venue multiple times."

One man's inappropriate joke is another man's belly laugh.
