Erasing the Waukesha Massacre in real time

It is the headline that may have flipped Debra Messing red. The Washington Post reported, "Here's what we know so far on the sequence of events that led to the Waukesha tragedy caused by a SUV."

The SUV did it!

She tweeted, "Dear Mainstream Media—a man intentionally drove his car through a parade killing 6 and injuring 50+.

"It was not an ACCIDENT.

"🔥Call it by its name🔥#WaukeshaMassacre

"And it was a domestic terror attack.

"Don't minimize. Please."

She is an actress who for 4 years believed and repeated everything the media said bad about President Donald Trump, things I discounted or ignored because I knew from the get-go Russiagate was a lie.

Perhaps the media's attempted obfuscation of the Waukesha Massacre will open her eyes to the lies. Perhaps not. Liberals are giving Darrell E. Brooks Jr., 39, a violent career criminal a pass on this one because he is black and the victims are white people who voted for Trump.

WaPo was not the only media outlet that won't call a massacre a massacre.

Fox tattle-taled, "MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow failed to mention career criminal Darrell Brooks during Waukesha parade attack segment. Maddow only referred to Brooks as ‘the suspect’ despite identity being public knowledge."

He's not a suspect. We do not need to call in Columbo. We know he did it. The question is whether he was sane enough to be held accountable for his actions. He killed them but we presume he is innocent of murder until the state proves its case.

Regardless of the legalities in the case, the Waukesha Massacre is a tragedy. The media often calls the president the comforter-in-chief. No empathy emanates from this president.

A president who called Kyle Rittenhouse a white supremacist and is angry that the jury acquitted him has no interest in the Waukesha Massacre. There have been no statements from this White House on the Waukesha Massacre.

But it did issue a "Statement by the President on Remembering Holodomor," which was nice, even if it comes 87 years after the fact. At the time, NYT denied there was any mass starvation in Ukraine caused by Stalin or anyone else.

Maybe in the year 2108, President Darrell E. Brooks V can issue a statement on the Waukesha Massacre. I mean, that was what was done with the Tulsa Riot that destroyed the black business district of that town. The media at the time, too, downplayed the damage.

While the American press tries to make the Waukesha Massacre go away, journalists at the London Daily Mail seize the opportunity to fill that vacuum.

The Daily Mail reported, "Long, comforting arm of the law: Bizarre moment defense attorney consoles parade killer Darrell Brooks as she tells him sixth victim, eight-year-old Jackson Sparks, had died: Judge sparks fury by offering $5 million bail to the felon."

The site ran plenty of pictures of Jackson Sparks.

You won't see them in the American media because his death does not help the media kill this story.

Debra Messing is displeased with the media downplaying the tragedy. Perhaps this will open her eyes to all the media lies. Perhaps not.

  2. I was surprised that no racially-oppressed NFL teams took a moment of silence for the Waukesha victims.

  3. A moral panic an irrational fear that some evil person or thing threatens the well-being of a community. It is perpetuated by moral entrepreneurs and the mass media, and exacerbated by politicians and lawmakers

The popularity of BLM in the summer of 2020 was astounding, but it only lasted a few months. We are now unwinding that moral panic. We will never see a repeat of the summer of 2020, more likely we will see the opposite.

    1. You may not have lived long enough to realize these riots happen every 20 years or so. Watts and Detroit burned in 1964. More riots in the late 60s. LA burned in 1992 after the Rodney King trial. Same thing every time. It starts with a police incident and blows up into nationwide riots and burning.

    2. Even more interesting as Barr was AG during the 1992 riots as well as the most recent. Both proceeded election years and democrats won. 64 was election year and a democrat won but didn't unseat a republican.

  5. The New York Post did a decent job of coverage, but the media and Big Tech regard it as an outlier.

  6. I drive an SUV. A world destroying Climate Killer waiting like a great white shark to pounce on any unsuspecting
bicycle rider, walking grannies , and mask wearing soy poisoned college student walking to Their Womyn's studies class. /S.
I think we as a nation is waking up to the political

  8. A tragedy. And senseless since he hit a woman who is the mother of his child and then ran her over with his car on November 2. The Milwaukee DA's office let him out on $1000 bond---way to low for a violent career convicted felon. This tragedy could have been avoided. https://nypost.com/2021/11/22/waukesha-suspect-darrell-brooks-bond-was-inappropriately-low/

Not a tragedy, this was an atrocity.

  13. I hate to quibble at time like this, the utter morality depravity of WP aside- their basic spell check and grammar is pitiful
It is supposed to be "an SUV" not "a SUV. 'S" is not a vowel of course but since it sounds like it begins with a vowel , an is used.

  14. Mr. Surber, the media [no capital "M"] that refused to call a riot a riot, and refuses to call looting "looting", isn't going to call a massacre a massacre, unless the person driving were White. The Waukesha massacrer is black.

  16. Like the Oldsmobile that killed Mary Jo Kopechne it was just another case of automisogeny. The SUV couldn’t help it.

  18. MacGuffin (plural MacGuffins)

Although I want to call the SUV a MacGuffin: (narratology) A plot element or other device used to catch the audience's attention and maintain suspense, but whose exact nature has fairly little influence over the storyline.

In reality, the news is using the SUV as a Plot Coupon; (plural plot coupons)

(fandom slang) An object sought by a character in a story in order to achieve some objective, having little purpose beyond advancing the plot.

  19. So when does the New York times give up its pulitzer prize for the coverage of the Stalin's famine? And folks remember, most media reporters are Democratic operative with bylines and it makes sense

    1. Well. You know Joe Pulitzer was a Democratic operative with a byline, so it figures they would give a prize for the biggest lie, baldest slander, most ignominious libel, named after him.
Pulitzer invented "yellow Journalism" by the way.
