Biden's failing covid program

Campaigning for president, Biden blamed Trump for covid and called his response to covid criminal.

The New York Times reported today, "Despite vaccines, the U.S. has lost more lives to covid this year than last."

A month before the election, Biden politicized the virus, blaming Trump on CNN. Biden said, "He waved the white flag. He walked away. He didn’t do a damn thing – think about it! And it’s almost criminal."

Trump started Operation Warp Speed. NBC scoffed that it would take a miracle to get a vaccine by the year's end. President Trump delivered two.

The plan was to vaccinate the old and the infirm. There would be no mandates for healthy people. This is how we do flu shots.

Biden even promised no mandates.

And yet here we are.

NPR never mentioned a vax mandate in its pre-election report, "Coronavirus Is A Key Campaign Issue: What's Joe Biden's Plan?"

Instead it outlined six points.

  1. Set consistent, evidence-based guidance to stop outbreaks
  2. Seriously ramp up testing
  3. Establish a U.S. public health jobs corps
  4. Help people get health insurance
  5. Create a caregiving workforce
  6. Bolster resources for vaccine distribution and PPE production

Deaths this year now outstrip last year's because his plan was political, not medical, in nature. Just because some bureaucrat has an MD does not mean his advice is medical.

The purpose of the vax mandate is not to protect anyone, but rather to create a class of scapegoats for Biden's failure called the unvaccinated.

Never mind that the areas where covid is growing are in the places that are most vaccinated. Biden is blaming the unvaccinated.

Meanwhile, Pfizer and Moderna are cashing in as a shot meant only for the old and infirm is now being expanded to use on infants. This is a disastrous and likely malpractice, but when the government grants you indemnity from litigation, you have a license to make money.

No one should approve any of these vaccines for anyone under 18. And certainly no one should vaccinate a kid without parental permission.

The combination of bad medicine and unconstitutionality of these mandates has people rebelling and Darth Fauci and the rest are demonizing the rebels.

Politics aside, this ain't working. The virus is spreading relentlessly because that is what viruses do. Healthy people develop natural immunity without a vaccine.

The least vaccinated continent -- Africa -- has the smallest covid death rate.

Covid deaths are up under Biden. His mandates are not working. He needs to try something new. For the first time in his life, Biden needs to tell the truth: "Covid is here. It's weird. Get used to it."

  1. 100% percent correct, Don. The idea of giving these shots to babies and children is abhorrent to me. It is wrong, both morally and criminally and constitutionally. Vaccinations, I repeat myself, are a choice. These shots should be for the old, infirm and those with co-morbidities. (I stress "should be.") What is happening now is authoritarian and hysterical. We need to live with this virus. It is with us. Vaccinate if you please.

    1. It is wrong medically, too: children risk more from the vaccine than fron the disease.
      I'm a doctor, BTW.

  2. "Despite vaccines, the U.S. has lost more lives to covid this year than last."

Not only that, but BECAUSE of vaccines, many athletes and other formerly healthy people have seen debilitating results.

An aggressive (but not mandatory) roll-out to the elderly made sense. Below that, it should have been optional for 18-65. The idea that younger kids are getting jabbed is abhorrent, and the negative impacts are already happening (and being mostly suppressed by the press). Pregnant women should have been exempt -- but NOOOOO, and now there's been a sharp increase in stillborns.

History will see the COVID period as an inexcusable medical, deep-state, and media disgrace.

Righ,t on. We have "regulatory capture" by Big Pharma and the public is not aware of the extent.
Big Pharma controls the training of doctors and drug research.

    3. The medical industry has tarnished its own reputation so much that it now ranks down there with used car salesmen and gypsy roof repairmen. Below them, in a class of its own, is the government.

    4. The "healthcare industry" has been able to give itself an undeserved teflon reputation that they took as an invincible entitlement - and they've thrown it all away, much as the "education industry" has as well.

I've mentioned this before, but there was a bifurcation c. 30 or so years ago. Faced with rising competition and a slew of better products at lower cost, most sectors of the U.S. economy reformed themselves greatly; while there were of course a few exceptions, for the most part this involved becoming leaner, more-focused, and more-effective. However, three sectors - health care, education, and government - were able to say that they were too important for that kind of treatment, and so they avoided it... and continued being bloated, inefficient, and poorly-productive. As we're reaching the point where all the gains garnered by the reformed productive sectors are now being eaten up by these three clunker sectors, the clunker sectors can't claim their exceptions any longer.

I've always wondered which of the three would be first to be (belatedly) put through the ringer; was always figuring that government (natch) would be last, but health care and education might go through the ringer co-temporally...

  5. 'So, when they weren’t injected, their infection rate was 1.3% and when they got injected, it was 4.34%. It went up by over 300%,’ Pfizer ex-employee Karen Kingston stated. ‘They had less infection when they had no protection. So, that’s a problem.’ CFP

More like Bill Gates' failing program. He's the money man who runs the show with his 140 billion dollars and no medical training. Biden is just the flak catcher.

  7. They think they're still calling the shots. When 3/8 of the workforce (minimum) and all the stay-at-homes in their families aren't complying, it's the people calling the shots.

Just because some bureaucrat has an MD does not mean his advice is medical.

    Or even good.

Does anyone know the virus stats for the Palestinians? Haven't heard a peep about them. India had huge success with Ivermectin. Read that Japan is doing the same. Instead of following the "science," how 'bout we pay close attention to what's working and what ain't? You know, like what a fifth grader would do.

    3. Africa...least vaccinated and lowest covid problem. Also please note that equatorial Africa suffers from endemic malaria and has severe parasite problems. The result is that most of the folks in those areas pop quinine pills and ivermectin like candy.
