Highlights of the News

Kyrie "007" Irving: "You expect me to get vaxxed?"

Gold Middlefinger: "No. I expect freedom to die."

ITEM 1: It ain't happening. Not on our watch.

The spin on the five-day work stoppage by Southwest Airline pilots is that, no, no, no. This was not about the vaccine mandate, you silly conservatives.

But no one is saying why they walked out.

And while its CEO "defies" Texas Governor Greg Abbott's order that companies not mandate vaccines, Southwest reneged on its demand to be vaxxed by November 28 or be fired.

ITEM 2: The National Pulse reported, "Previously unseen e-mail correspondence between Anthony Fauci and his wife Christine Grady show the couple celebrating how Fauci had been 'immortalized' by an action figure, and reveal a callous reaction to vaccine-related deaths, The National Pulse can exclusively reveal."

There is no such thing as a private email.

But only NFL coaches are held accountable for emails that show they are unfit to hold their job.

ITEM 3: The Epoch Times reported, "Illinois Healthcare Workers Protest Against Covid-19 Vaccine Mandate."

Blah, blah, blah.

Paragraphs 15, 16, and 17 read, "Harry Mihet, chief litigation counsel at Liberty Council, told The Epoch Times that he thinks NorthShore University HealthSystem’s denials of religious exemptions are illegal on many fronts.

"For one, Mihet said the Illinois Health Care Right of Conscience Act prohibits NorthShore from firing employees who decline a COVID-19 vaccine based on their conscience or religious belief. Secondly, he said under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, NorthShore has no legal authority to judge the validity or reasonableness of any employee’s sincerely held religious belief.

"Mihet also cited a 1990 U.S. Supreme Court opinion on Washington v. Harper in the demand letter to NorthShore, which reads, 'The forcible injection of medication into a nonconsenting person’s body represents a substantial interference with that person’s liberty.'"

Too many journalists have become gravediggers as they bury their leads time after time.

Harper was an inmate in Washington state's penal system. When he went off his meds, he became violent. The issue was whether a prisoner in a correctional facility has the right to refuse the administration of psychotropic drugs.

A unanimous court under Chief Justice Rehnquist ruled that he was entitled to due process.

Why is a felon entitled to something law-abiding citizens are not?

ITEM 4: The Truth About Cars reported, "Car Loans Get Longer, Rental Vehicles Get Older."

Is Stevie Nicks writing their headlines?

But car loans get longer
Rental cars get older
And I'm getting older too
Oh, I'm getting older too

I remember when car loans were for 3 years. Now they last 7 years. Then again, I am driving a 12-year-old car because my mean old wife won't let me buy a Bentley.

ITEM 5: Fox reported, "At least 160,000 illegal immigrants have been released into the U.S., often with little to no supervision, by the Biden administration since March – including a broad use of limited parole authorities to make more than 30,000 eligible for work permits since August, Border Patrol documents obtained by Fox News show.

"The documents give a partial snapshot into how the Biden administration has been releasing enormous numbers of migrants into the U.S., often with little to no oversight, supervision or immediate risk of deportation."

Vaccine passports? They don't have any passports. Passports are for suckers.

ITEM 6: Meanwhile, in Bidenomics news, Kerry Lutz of the Financial Survival Network reported, "10 Shortages That Are Getting Worse."

Pallets, aluminum, CO2, truck drivers, ketchup and condiments, champagne, construction materials, coal/energy, healthcare workers, and auto mechanics and technicians.

He left out Premium Saltines. They cannot be found in Putnam County. How will we eat chili this winter without them?

ITEM 7: Charles Hurt wrote, "No, GOP swampers, Donald Trump is not going away.

"Much to the shock and dismay of establishment Republicans in Washington, President Trump has no plans whatsoever of going quietly into that good night. Or retirement. Or surrender. Or whatever.

"Did you see his rally in Iowa this weekend? Or the one in Georgia before that?

"No. Your long, national nightmare is nowhere near over."

That was a Billy "Crash" Craddock column as in Rub It In, Rub It In.

Donald Trump is the American dream. Rich, handsome, with a beautiful wife and a lifestyle of the rich and famous.

He is the socialist nightmare.

ITEM 8: Weasel Zippers reported, "Reuters Now Openly Calling Our Economic Collapse Under Joe Biden 'The Great Reboot.'"

The Reuters story cited was about how a tire shortage is hurting farmers at harvest time.

Unless Akron is going to re-open its tire factories, this is not a reboot. It is the Great Retread as Biden flips us back to the days of Jimmy Carter.

ITEM 9: The Free Thought Center reported, "A female officer with Victoria Police, who served for 16 years, has resigned in protest against the use of police to enforce Covid-19 rules, saying in an interview that a “great majority” of her colleagues shared her sentiments.

"Acting Senior Sergeant Krystle Mitchell has appeared on The Discernible Interviews channel on YouTube on Friday, wearing her dark-blue uniform and revealing that she had been “troubled” by how police resources have been applied during the pandemic by state authorities.

"Victoria Police has been tasked with making sure that people in one of Australia’s most populous states abide by the lockdown restrictions, and with curbing illegal protests against the health rules and vaccination mandates, which often turn violent, resulting in numerous arrests and accusations of police brutality. Melbourne, Victoria’s capital city, holds the world record for longest lockdown."

She said, "all of my friends that are police officers that are working the front line and are suffering every day enforcing CHO (Chief Health Officer) directions, that certainly the great majority don’t believe in and don’t want to enforce."

Australia began as a penal colony and is returning to its roots.

We all are.

ITEM 10: The Epoch Times reported, "Carriers of goods including Walmart, UPS, and FedEx are moving to work more shifts—including 24 hours per day, seven days per week—to address global supply disruptions that have contributed to a surge in inflation, the White House said Wednesday. The update was announced ahead of President Joe Biden’s meeting with the heads of Walmart, FedEx, and UPS to address the supply chain bottlenecks before the Christmas season."

They waved their magic wands and millions of flying reindeer appeared and began delivering packages all over, as the president saved Christmas. Yea. I cannot wait for the Rankin-Bass special.

Methinks the deal is they take the blame for this latest Biden catastrophe while he shovels billions of taxpayer dollars to them.

ITEM 11: Zero Hedge reported, "Ruth Bader Ginsburg said that athletes kneeling for the national anthem were being 'dumb and disrespectful,' and showed 'contempt for a government that has made it possible for their parents and grandparents to live a decent life,' when asked what she thought about former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and others protesting before games.

"'Would I arrest them for doing it? No,' said Ginsburg. 'I think it's dumb and disrespectful. I would have the same answer if you asked me about flag burning. I think it's a terrible thing to do, but I wouldn't lock a person up for doing it. I would point out how ridiculous it seems to me to do such an act.'

"But the American public never knew about this controversial opinion from the liberal icon, because Katie Couric edited it out of a 2016 interview with the late Supreme Court justice, according to the Daily Mail. 'If they want to be arrogant, there's no law that prevents them from that. What I would do is strongly take issue with the point of view that they are expressing when they do that,' Ginsburg added."

CBS replaced Dan Rather with her and Bob Schieffer. She kept the Dan Rather legacy going.

ITEM 12: The Daily Mail reported, "EXCLUSIVE: Joe Biden could become embroiled in the FBI's probe into Hunter's finances, experts say: Emails reveal they SHARED bank accounts, paid each other's bills and the president may have even have funded his son's 2018 drug and prostitution binge."

Bribe the son, own the dad.

But my question is do you list on your 1040 the cocaine they gave you at wholesale price or retail?

ITEM 13: Kyle Becker reported, "Internal Capitol Police documents were obtained and released by legal watchdog Judicial Watch. The nearly 500 pages of interviews of witnesses and investigators of the Ashli Babbitt shooting reveal no good reason for shooting, according to Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

"'These previously secret records show there was no good reason to shoot and kill Ashli Babbitt,' Fitton said. 'The Biden-Garland Justice Department and the Pelosi Congress have much to answer for the over the mishandling and cover-up of this scandalous killing of an American citizen by the U.S. Capitol Police.'

"The Capitol Police reports directly to the Congress and is not typically liable to FOIA request. Judicial Watch obtained the documents via lawsuit filed in May. The internal police documents are littered with redactions, as well as entire pages withdrawn from the public record.

"Ashli Babbitt’s shooter, Lt. Michael Byrd, is named openly throughout the documents."

This was a real murder in cold blood by a cop.

The media hailed him as a hero.

ITEM 14: Trending Politics reported, "Turns out the Italians are fans of Brandon too.

"This past weekend, on October 9th, anti-vaccine mandate protesters in Rome, Italy chanted 'Fuck Joe Biden' as they marched past the American Embassy, which was long the route of their march through the Eternal City."

America's back!

As a clown car.

ITEM 15: CBS in Jacksonville reported, "70-year-old mom spends night in Duval jail after refusing to leave daughter’s side at hospital."

No transplants without a vax. Now this. Hospitals need to treat patients and their families like human beings.

FINALLY, "The Lion King" was not a documentary.

  1. Item 4: Piker! My wife made me drive my truck for 18 years before she let me replace it. You still have 6 years to go! ;-)

  2. 2 - Dr. Fece is a turd.

6 - Frito pie or Cheeto pie.

    11 - See BS

12 - I think to myself “maybe something will finally happen to the Bidens”. Then I read “FBI probe” and say “never mind. Fuck Joe Biden”.

  3. Item 9: There is lots of evidence that the police in Australia are happy to enforce the lockdowns. If she wants me to believe they don't, then perhaps they should stop beating their fellow citizens for protesting? Otherwise her protestations are falling on deaf ears here.

    1. Some Aussies have said that Australia was first set up as a prison, inhabited by prisoners and was run by the guards.

Now the descendants of the prisoners are being run by the descendants of the guards.

  4. ITEM 6: He left out Premium Saltines. They cannot be found in Putnam County. How will we eat chili this winter without them?

    Buy them on Amazon.

    1. Both are better than the organic, whole wheat, high fiber, multi-seeded crackers my wife buys.

    2. Or you could try something like this: I haven't tried any of them but there's a slew of recipes for saltines online.

  5. Item 4 - Stevie Nicks has one of the great all time voices!

    Happy FJB Day (every day)

    1. Love Stevie's voice.

      Tomorrow will be FJBF.

  6. Item 1: Neither the CEOs who are listening to the Whitehouse’s unofficial (read “illegal”) mandate/non-mandate thought this thing through. Keep insisting on the jab even while ignoring acquired immunity and personal freedoms of the ordinary citizen and sooner or later the latter two groups will tell you to put it where the sun don’t shine.

Item 3: Scram about how one must wear a mask to prevent the spread because a spread of the wu-flu would cause hospital beds to fill up and stretch staff to the breaking point and then turn around to fire staff for any reason? Logic has left the house along with common sense. See Item 1 above.

Item 6: No one seems to be capable of thinking things through regardless of just how obvious it may be. Increase regulations, pay more to not work rather than work, destroy our energy independence by blocking pipelines and drilling which also causes fuel prices to soar---it all adds up encouraging folks to stay home. (And you left off cat food—and litter--from your list of those items missing from the shelves. The Wally World near me just can’t seem to get any in stock.)

Item 8: Biden is so set on returning us to the Days of Malaise, that he handed the Taliban hostages rather than wait for them to seize them. The Taliban just haven’t gotten around to asking for a ransom yet. Probably too busy playing with or selling all those new military toys we left behind. (See “can’t think things through” above.)

Item 10: “Methinks the deal is they take the blame for this latest Biden catastrophe while he shovels billions of taxpayer dollars to them.” Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner! You hit it right on the head, Don.

Item 11: At least Couric only edited out portions of the interview she didn’t want the public to hear. Rather created documents out of thin air.

Item 12: But at least there are no mean tweets, right?

  7. Trump is still the president.

  8. Saltines! I never have chili without corn bread.!

    1. Item 6: Cornbread.
BTW: "Sweet cornbread" is actually "cake".

    2. I agree with both you folks, Douglas and Cynyr, and only if real cornbread is unavailable do I find saltines to be an acceptable substitute. I don't dislike sweet cornbread but we should probably find another name for it, as that stuff ain't cornbread. Corn cake sounds about right.

  9. I am vaxxed but totally anti-mandates. This whole totalitarian shit show is making me side with the anti-vaxxers. I guess "My Body, my choice" is only for abortion. Here in my corner of the woods, Montreal, Canada, the Quebec (provincial) government had to back down on firing health care workers and hospital staff who didn't get vaxxed because the system would collapse without them. Our health care system is free in Canada but we pay for it through high taxation. The system has been broken for years and all the money in the world won't improve it because free means rationing care. The government has given them a one-month extension so my son gets to work at least for another month.

    1. And since Canada is one of only two countries on earth that ban private medicine (the other is North Korea), Canadians are stuck with whatever "the state" lets them do.

The "private system" in Canada has long been the US - medical facilities relatively close to the border in border states have long done a nice "cash on the barrelhead" side business for Canadians who are willing and able to pay for responsive care (rather than waiting forever for "free" care at home). But with the border (still effectively) closed due to the plague, I guess even THAT option is foreclosed...

    2. That is true, but my province now has a thriving two-tier private medical system for those who can pay. Believe me, we use it. It depends which province you live in as to how much private medical service there is. But thank God it's here now and has been growing unabated in the last 10 years. Not all Canadians are even aware of this. It depends where you live. In Montreal, it is everywhere.

  10. All we can do as free people is to oppose mandates. Follow your conscience and refuse the vaxx if it makes sense for you. You do you. There are worker shortages everywhere in both Canada and the U.S. and firing people for not getting vaxxed will backfire. It's the only weapon people have after lockdowns, business destruction, loss of personal freedom, etc. Revenge will be a dish that further ruins the economy. FJB, gooder and harder every day.

  11. "The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health"
Robert Kennedy Jr book available – November 9, 2021

"How were the people in power able to impose totalitarianism on America overnight?"
    Answer -Because it was planned.

    1. It only took RFK Jr's 30 minute video to convince me. Covid is a US Deep State bioweapon, not a Chinese bioweapon.
He connects the dots back ot Eisenhower's warning about the Military Industrial Complex.
RFK Jr's uncle (JFK) and father (RFK) were assassinated.

    3. RFK is right, of course.

Although it is sometimes difficult to distinguish the Deep State from the Chinese Politburo, since there is effectively a Uni-Party/Chi-Com Party Coalition Government oppressing both the Chinese and American peoples.

    4. kc __It wasn't the big military complex that killed JFK, Oswald and the idiot agent with the M-16 in the trailing car who friendly-fired the fatal shot. zb

  12. Replies
    1. Not an argument. An Alinsky tactic.

    2. Event 201

On October 18, 2019, the Center for Health Security partnered with the World Economic Forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to host the tabletop exercise Event 201 in New York City. According to the CHS, "the exercise illustrated areas where public/private partnerships will be necessary during the response to a severe pandemic in order to diminish large-scale economic and societal consequences"

      Son, Hit That Button!!!

    3. Guys, she's 90 years old and just got released from jail from making porn. Give her a break!

    4. A "break" isn't what I planned to give her!!!

  15. Item 10: It's too late, but I suspect you are correct that tax payer money will be headed their way.

Are they going to stop enforcing the driver's hours of service regulations? I'm sure our crack Transportation Secretary has no idea about those. Was he even at that bogus meeting?

    1. No, Jeffery, it's never too late despite what you want people to believe.

  17. 15 - Still waiting for the "Health Care is a Human Right!" crowd to get on this sort of stuff...

  18. Donald John Trump is still our president.

Masthead, 1, and, 3: I love it when a plan comes together.

6: Champagne? First, Christmas, now New Year's?

In the immortal words of Bugs Bunny, "Of course you know, THIS means war".

7: Donald John Trump is still our president.

11: Well, what the Hell else did you expect?

13: When in the course of human events...

    14: Not America. Buck Fiden.
2: This may be the camel that breaks the straw's back.

  19. #2. With donks, being unfit is a resume enhancement. See Garland Merrick, Harris, Kamala (whorizontal) and Xiden Creepy Joe for reference.

  20. "Donald Trump is the American dream. Rich, handsome, with a beautiful wife and a lifestyle of the rich and famous. He is the socialist nightmare."

And worst of all, a patriot.

  21. 2. I'd buy a Fauci action doll so I could stick pins into it, like a voodoo doll...

  22. Don: you are eating chili. For goodness sake, use tortilla chips! You'll be glad you did.

  23. Obedience is getting vaxed. You’ve compromised your immune system and submitted. Well done Don.

    1. Give him a break, Steve. It wasn’t “obedience” when he made the decision, because there wasn’t a “mandate” back then. The shot was offered with the promise that for the vaccinated, life would get back to normal — no masking, no distancing, and no COVID infection. Nobody but the vaccine makers and CDC/NIH gods knew that it was all a lie. Back then people still trusted doctors to give them good medical advice.

We know better now. We now know the promise of the “vaccine” was all a lie, which is the reason it is now beingmandated instead of being offered. But you can’t blame people for making decisions based on the knowledge available at the time. It’s only the Left that wants to constantly go back and apply contemporary standards to historical decisions.

    2. "... only the Left that wants to constantly go back and apply contemporary standards to historical decisions"

      Well said!!

    3. Yes, the vaccine was supposed to get us back to normal. But the goal posts always move. And there were no mandates. Now it's about control. Where is normal?

  24. Item 6: Premium Saltines are my go-to crackers too. They have been for decades. But one day my local Krogers was out of stock. I bought a box of Krogers brand saltines. They were great. I swear Nabisco bakes them. They are good and one third the price of Premium Saltines. Try them—you can’t go wrong since they have a satisfaction guarantee.

  25. 5. Stop calling them immigrants. Call them what they are: invaders and colonizers.
