45% of USA don't buy global warming propaganda

A half-century of propaganda has failed.

A poll by lefties revealed 45% of Americans reject the Fake Science that global warming is "caused mostly by human activities."

Vice News reported the numbers on its You.Gov poll in conjunction with the Guardian.

It then said, "This year was marked by several unprecedented natural disasters, including a heat dome marked by sweltering temperatures of up to 113 F that plagued the Pacific Northwest, killing hundreds, and record-breaking wildfire seasons that razed entire towns and displaced thousands. Experts linked the string of natural disasters to the climate crisis, and yet, many Americans are still struggling to understand whether and why the generation-defining crisis is happening."

Left out of its hysteria was the fact that at the same time, Antarctica suffered its coldest cold season on record with an incomprehensible low of MINUS 79.4 degrees Fahrenheit.

55% believe the lefty propaganda.

The Guardian, which partnered with Vice on this, said the same poll showed 19% said no to the question, "Do you think that global warming is happening?"

Using weather events to peddle environmental alarmism is a longtime mainstay of lefty efforts to control industry in the name of saving the planet since at least 1970 -- which was 51 years ago.

Mark J. Perry listed, "18 spectacularly wrong predictions made around the time of the first Earth Day in 1970."

Among them were Paul Ehrlich saying, "Population will inevitably and completely outstrip whatever small increases in food supplies we make. The death rate will increase until at least 100 million-200 million people per year will be starving to death during the next 10 years."

WHO says obesity is the problem with 13% (1 in 8) of the world's population labelled obese. WHO said, "Worldwide obesity has nearly tripled since 1975."

In 2009, CBS reported, "Al Gore has told the U.N. climate conference that new data suggests the Arctic polar ice cap may disappear in the summertime as soon as five to seven years from now."

12 years later, the ice cover has expanded.

Barry McGuire sang in 1965, "But you tell me over and over and over again my friend/ Ah, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction."

I did not believe it then, I do not believe it now.

But I do believe that this Fake Science jeopardizes freedom by giving an already too-powerful government more control over my life.

45% of Americans are rejecting it. For now.

    4. There really may be 55% that believe this crap given that they are fed a steady diet of this propaganda by the mass media.

    9. Not only sad that only 45% realize that this global warming nonsense is a huge scam, but a huge wake up call to what the union dominated public schools are doing to our kids.

  2. As I keep saying, our planet's "Climate" has been changing ever since our planet has had a climate. Which was, (lemme check) years and years and yearrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs ago.

I live in Washington State, and yes, we got some high temperatures...for two days.

    1. Exactly. Believing we humans can change or control the climate is the epitome of human conceit. Sadly, as we abandon faith in God we become vulnerable to any sort of absurdity the Devil's minions may be pushing.

When we are safe and secure and successful, we'll have the heart to worry a bit more about the rest of the world. I don't see any one 'in the rest of the world' worrying about us ?

  5. The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.

  7. Personally, I don't buy that 55% number. Whenever issue polls are done in the US, "climate change" (sic) always comes in at the very bottom of concerns - something like only 3% rate it important or somewhat important.

"Climate change" is just a crackpot paleolithic religious cult. Everything "progressive" (sic) is a belief system. It's all anti-science cr*p.

And a pack of lies - like the one that the grauniad has above about a "record wildfire season." In terms of acres burned, for example, it's not even close to the worst ones.

  9. I have been hearing doom and gloom predictions since I was at least 10 years old in the late 1960s early 70s. Not one of them has come true. But the headlines sound great. It just isn't true. The climate is always changing for better or worse. We do not need to destroy our economies in the name of climate change.

  12. When I was a little boy, Mary Martin used to sing:

When the sun is a bright canary yellow,
I forget every cloud I've ever seen,
So they call me a cockeyed optimist,
    Immature and incurably green.

I have head people rant and rave and bellow
That we're done and we might as well be dead,
But I'm only a cockeyed optimist
And I can't get it into my head.

    I hear the human race
    Is falling on its face
And it hasn't very far to go.
    But every whippoorwill
    Is selling me a bill
And telling me it just ain't so.

I could say life is just a bowl of jello,
And then feel more intelligent and smart,
But I'm stuck like a dope
    With a thing called hope
And I can't get it out of my heart,
    Not my heart.

  14. What did the meme say? "The people who can't control the spread of a virus are the same people who say they can control the climate by raising our taxes." People care most about massive illegal immigration. So called climate change is way down the list. The Democrats are trying like hell to move it to the top with their employees in the press leading the charge. This winter should enlighten some of them.

Let's conserve all energy and resources to what makes sense, but can't I decide if I need a troop transport or a go-cart. Personally at our house we need a big SUV and one of those glorified roller skates.

  20. Two of my great-grandfathers left Wisonsin to homestead in NW Nebraska in the 1870s. THey were assured by government agents that the top climate scientists of the time were telling them "rain follows the plow". Great-grandpa W believed them and planted crops - they lost the crop every single year for five years (hail, drought, early fall freezes, grasshoppers) then went back to WI. Great-grandpa P thought they were full of it, and stuck with cattle and horses - he was successful. THen as now, the climate scientists are pseudo scienists. I may start to believe them if they can make an accurate prediction for a time period less than 50 to 100 years from now. So far, they are 0 - (a really big number), Get one right, and that will go a long way to reduce my scepticism somewhat.
