The end game of the election audits

Readers have noticed my silence on the election audits in Arizona and elsewhere. The election was stolen and cannot be undone.

But that does not mean the audits are useless. Far from it, dear friends.

There is no way Democrats won the election fair and square. The math shows this was impossible. We went a century with presidential election turnout topping 60% only one time -- 61% in 1964 -- and suddenly there was a surge to 67%?

That was up from 56% in 2016.

Democrats used the pandemic to ignore election laws and mail-in unverified ballots that may have been Xerox-ed. The rules of election security were abandoned.

And Republicans allowed this to happen because they wanted to be rid of Donald John Trump and the whole business of making America great again. Republicans want nice safe jobs where they go along with Democrat lawlessness to get along.

The audits are not going to overturn the 2020 election. We all know this.

But this is not about 2020. It is about 2024. Donald Trump wants to become the first presidential loser to come back and win since Richard Nixon, who lost to JFK in 1960 and was elected president in 1968.

Grover Cleveland and Andrew Jackson also pulled this off. Jackson got screwed out of the 1824 election by a very deft John Quincy Adams who was able to convince Congress to give him the win after Jackson fell short of a majority in the Electoral College.

Donald Trump is a very stable genius. He was 14 when Nixon lost and 22 when Nixon won. He has observed how Gore handled his close loss. (Gore sold out and made a pile pushing the snake oil of global warming.) And he has watched Hillary blame everyone but herself for the most expensive loss in presidential election history.

President Trump is not taking up painting. He is leading the campaign to Take Back America From the Traitors.

He has not conceded the election because he wants to remind Americans of what they had. In the alternative universe of a second term, there is no border crisis because Mexico continues to guard our border while we build the wall.

In the alternative universe of a second term, the Taliban is irrelevant because the duly elected government in Afghanistan is fully in charge. Maybe we have a small contingent of soldiers like in South Korea, but whatever arms we brought in are arms we took home.

In the alternative universe of a second term, the economy is booming and inflation remains dead. We are headed back to 3.5% unemployment and any infrastructure deal involves actual physical structures.

Donald Trump is now the president in waiting. The UnTrump Presidency is failing, and that lends credence to the argument that Democrats and RINOs stole 2020.

We cannot undo the past, but we can look to the future.

The election audits give us hope and keep us together.

    1. Don’t. It switched in 2010, and a fat lot of good that did.

    3. nothing will change as long as the sheeple don't care. 22 may put Rino McCarthy in the big chair but whop cares, we had Paul Ryan, and nothing happened. Lexington happened for a reason, as of today people aren't that fed up with their overlords.

    4. Douglas DC — hell yeah!!! You’re probably looking for Paul Ryan to come back to serve as Speaker of the House again, along with Mitt Romney (R-US Chamber of Commerce) as Senate Majority Leader.

You sure don’t learn from experience do you? Even after being hit across the head by a 2x4. You must have some super-duper thick skull. Should probably donate it to science.

    5. Mitch McConnell instead of Mitt Romney — not like there’s much of a difference except that Mitt is more obvious with his backstabbing of American Patriots.

  2. The wrongdoers who did the cheating, right down to those who physically handled the bogus ballots, need to be outed and driven from their positions.

We're really close to the point where that is going to be necessary - to let these crooks know that we're serious, and to dissuade anyone else from trying stunts like that.

Anyone else ever read Cicero's speeches arguing for execution as punishment for the conspirator Sergius Catallus?

  3. Don: I too hope for President Trump to be back in office, but do you really think there have been enough state election reform laws to prevent the same think happening again? I am not sure there has been enough action at the state level to make us confident of our election process this next time around.

    1. I'm afraid you may be right. PA, MI, WI, GA...what's changed? Well, maybe GA has changed. AZ certainly has. But without PA, MI, and WI, it's a tough go for the Trump. There's no reason to think the same thing won't happen all over again.

    1. Yes, you can. How can there be actual change with the same, Trump-hating Republicans infesting all levels of government? And, given the speed Biden's people are moving with their lawlessness, I'm not confident we'll have the same country in 2024.

    2. One other thing...how can we expect to achieve any change within the system with judges who can't even figure out how to keep convicted murderers in jail and SOTUS justices who hide under their desks? Real progress will have to come from the bottom up.

  5. My hope is the audits lead to voter id laws. Also maybe the ones who voted illegally will be put in prison. Maybe we should put Durham on the voter fraud investigation!

    2. Dan Bongino said that 43 states have improved voter laws. Maybe not to our complete satisfaction, but better than before. Just removing mail in voting would greatly lessen cheating.

  7. After the mail-in ballot fiasco is rectified, why can’t everyone be required to show his or her Social Security Card to vote. If you don’t show it, you don’t vote.

    1. Socialist sucker cards don't have a picture. I could have hung on to dad's card and he'd be voting. Someone is voting for my daughter who was killed 17 years ago.

    2. Photo ID is also irrelevant if they can simply take a batch of 'dem' ballots and continually run them thru the scanner again and again and again which was also done in GA.
I divorced and moved from DE in 2015. My kids were both gone from that home too and have not lived there since 2013/2015 respectively. All of us received mail in ballots for 2020 election. How many hundreds of thousands voted for the 'ex' or 'kids' or previous owner?!?!

    3. "US elections are just like 3rd world hell holes."

That's unfair and insulting - to third-world hellholes.

While no one was paying attention, Zambia had a free-and-fair election back in mid-August, which resulted in the removal of the long-in-power party.

Okay, having been there a few times, Zambia is not a third-world hellhole. Now by definition too.

      We're being out-honestied by Zambia.

  8. I respect Don's experience and opinion, and enjoy his blogs and take on the daily news.
However, I respectfully disagree with his take on the 2020 election theft. It can "be undone". The definition of "undone" is pretty broad. Let's see what happens to the good and then render an opinion after due time.

    1. As I mentioned earlier in the year when the executable (!) left was basically saying that once you got past Congressional certification that from there nothing could be done... what happened last November was flat-out fraud. And fraud gets special status in the law - overriding things like protection of property, statutes of limitations, etc.; but the biggest one is that fraud vitiates the gains obtained by it.

As I said back then, we're in uncharted territory (in the US) on this one. But both the law as written AND remedies developed both domestically and internationally indicate that a fraudulent result should be vacated and remedied.

    2. Well, it won't happen if we just sulk and don't say anything. As more analysis comes out, we need to keep yelling louder.

Keep in mind that the swamp critters have to be getting pretty nervous. They thought that if they could just make PDJT go away, they could return to their untrammeled grifting without any bumps. Now, sniffy and giggles and this whole trove of blithering incompetents is putting them in even MORE danger of having their whole edifice collapse.

They may be becoming more receptive to some offers that involve them being allowed to go away quietly but to go away.

    3. Totally agree with "Unknown's assessment"...Respect Don's opinion, but this election battle isn't over...2024 is the "strategic" goal, but "winning" the "tactical" objective (reversing 2020 election) must come first.

  10. All this assumes an honest count in '22 and '24.

I'm saying (and I think this is Trump's plan) let things get so bad (how can we avoid it?) the American people demand Trump be reinstated and, considering the popularity of Buck Fiden, we may not have long to wait.

Donald Trump is now the president in waiting.

Like Hell he is. He is the legally elected President, regardless of how many Commies and Whigs say otherwise..

  11. I've said this before. IF the audits in five states prove that Trump won and they decertify the election, it makes Biden an illegitimate president, and all of his executive orders that reversed Trump and any going forward, also illegitimate. Now what? If he is deemed to be illegitimate, we will have nothing but a truly empty suit in the White House who won't have the authority to sign off on anything. Harris is also illegitimate because she was part of the ticket. That leaves us with Pelosi. If we get lucky, she'll have a very bad reaction to Botox. By the way, the "tox" in Botox stands for toxic, if you didn't already know.

  12. Donald Trump wants to become the first presidential loser...

Trump did not lose; the election was stolen. If all the legitimate votes had been counted, he would have won in a landslide.

    ReplyDelete
  13. The endgame is something best not spoken of in public. Think of these audits as a massive Schelling point. A lot of people presently claim to not believe that the elections were stolen not because they really dispute the facts, but that they don't like what facing up to those facts would require them to do.

    ReplyDelete
  14. No. Sorry. The end game of the election audits is NOT 2024. The end game is more election fraud. The end game is one-party rule. And the Republicans will just say, "Thank you sir, may I have another."

  15. As a seventy-four year old paraplegic with diabetes and a heart condition (about three months younger than Trump, but not as healthy) I shouldn't care, since I may not even make it to the next election. . .but I still DO care, even if my daughter and her husband voted for Joe Biden. I voted for Donald Trump, and will again, if I make it to November of 2024. Not sure I have any faith in America anymore, but I still care!

    1. Mr. Moore, I have sisters in their late 60's that voted for Biden and I will never understand it. Don't ever give up the faith in America, we are mostly good people. You are more than welcome to give up the faith in those who are ruining and won't stand up for America. God bless you and we will see you in 2024!!!

  16. There will never be a fair election in this country again so quit banging that "we'll git'em in 2022/2024" drum like Tweety Bird.

There's only one of the four boxes of freedom that is still functional. Unfortunately the time for that has already passed.

Nope. We're all now going to have to go through the fire and hope that, personally, one comes out of it alive and mostly unharmed. My guesstimate is that about 2/3 of the current population of the country won't live through it.
