ITEM 1: Let us start the day with good news.
The Quinnipiac Poll announced, "Voters in Texas give President Joe Biden a negative 32%-61% job approval rating. This marks a 24-point net change from June 2021, when 45% of Texas voters approved of the job he was doing and 50% disapproved."
That's a net minus 29.
The poll asked about the border crisis (a net minus 51 for Biden) but not about Afghanistan.
Governor Abbott is underwater, but Beto the Beta Boy O'Rourke is even deeper in the water.
ITEM 2: WND, citing a Christian ministry report, said, "Census data found that 11.1% of U.S. households with school-aged children are now homeschooling. That’s double the number from before the pandemic."
Well, it must be all those rednecks, right?
The report said, "The percentage of homeschooling children also spreads across different ethnicities. The group found that 9.7% of white families, 12.1% of Hispanic families, 8.8% of Asian families, and 16.1% of black families have pulled their children out of public schools to homeschool them."
Homeschooling may close the SAT gap, which Asians dominate and blacks are way behind as the percentage of homeschooled black kids is nearly double the percentage of Asian kids.
ITEM 3: Homeschooling will have little effect on public schools. The unions are too powerful. Schools will double down on indoctrination.
But the societal effects could be monumental.
I know not what direction that will be. But the number of homeschooling parents who teach Christianity is encouraging.
ITEM 4: The New York Post reported, "ESPN on-air personality Sage Steele went public with concerns she has with the Walt Disney Company’s vaccine mandate, which includes employees of the sports network.
"During an appearance on the 'Uncut with Jay Cutler' podcast, Steele explained that she had gotten vaccinated against COVID-19 that day but didn’t want to do it."
She said, "I work for a company that mandates it and I had until September 30th to get it done or I’m out. I respect everyone’s decision, I really do, but to mandate it is sick and it’s scary to me in many ways. I just, I’m not surprised it got to this point, especially with Disney, I mean a global company like that."
I hate to break this to her, but she works for Red China because Disney does.
You can call President Trump anything you want on Planet Disney, just don't badmouth Red China.
ITEM 5: Politico reported, "Top Defense officials testified on the messy U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. Here's some of what we learned."
The Democrat house organ's report was very sobering.
It said, "Biden's toughest moment: Perhaps the toughest headline for President Joe Biden to come out of this hearing will be this one: Top generals flat-out contradicted the president, under oath, about their advice to him in the early stages of the decision-making process. Gen. Mark Milley, chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Gen. Kenneth McKenzie, U.S. Central Command chief, told senators that they recommended keeping 2,500 troops on the ground — Biden said in August he didn't recall anyone advising him to keep residual troops."
But Milley said the surrender (his word was withdrawal) was a "strategic failure" but a "logistical success."
How?
Milley left tens of thousands of American citizens and green-card holders behind, along with $90 billion in cash and war materiel.
And less than a month after our retreat, we are preparing to bomb the hell out of Afghanistan.
ITEM 6: In the 21st century, racism is marketed as anti-racism.
And in this case, sexism too.Booksellers, you're invited to sign up for a free antiracism workshop: What's Up with White Women?: Unpacking Sexism and White Privilege in Pursuit of Racial Justice.

This workshop is open to all booksellers, regardless of how they identify. Learn more: https://t.co/Orl3T3Fgnj pic.twitter.com/8DyuLInhsj
ITEM 7: Hamas-Shielding AP reported, "After five years of legal battles, gentrification concerns and a federal review, Barack and Michelle Obama dug shovels into the ground Tuesday during a celebratory groundbreaking on their legacy project in a lakefront Chicago park.
"Construction on the Obama Presidential Center along Lake Michigan, near the Obama family home and where the former president started his political career on Chicago’s South Side, officially began last month."
Presidential center. It's not a library.
ITEM 8: Haaretz reported, "Covid in Israel: The 17% Unvaccinated Make Up 60% of Deaths This Week."
That 60% is 85 deaths, which means 55 or so deaths were among the vaccinated.
As a reader pointed out, "17% unvaccinated account for 60% of the covid deaths in Israel.
"83% of vaccinated account for 40% of the deaths."
This means the vaccinations aren't perfect, but they are better than nothing. About 7 times better.
But, you do you.
ITEM 9: The New York Times reported, "Stephanie Grisham's Book Details Trump's ‘Terrifying’ Temper."
3.5% unemployment.
Smallest illegal alien invasion in decades.
No U.S. deaths in Afghanistan in his final 11 months.
No new wars.
Allies finally living up to their end of the bargain on NATO.
But he wrote mean tweets. Waah!
ITEM 10: The Texas Tribune reported, "Texas court orders release of more than 200 migrants imprisoned in Gov. Greg Abbott’s border security clampdown."
Release them to Mexico.
ITEM 11: The Washington Post reported, "N.C. hospital system fires about 175 workers in one of the largest-ever mass terminations due to a vaccine mandate."
Wait a second.
The excuse for the vaccine mandates is we don't want hospitals overrun with covid patients.
And they are firing workers?
I hope the hospital's malpractice insurance is fully paid, and I wonder if the CEO can be held criminally responsible for any deaths this causes.
ITEM 12: Byron York reported, "Remember when President Joe Biden stunned the political world by threatening to veto a bipartisan $1.1 trillion traditional infrastructure spending bill that he, Joe Biden, had just encouraged the Senate to pass? It was a bizarre moment, but Biden was accommodating House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who planned to use the bipartisan bill as a hostage to force the passage of the much larger, partisan, $3.5 trillion social and climate spending bill that Democrats wanted. If you want the traditional infrastructure spending, Pelosi told House members, you'll have to vote for the $3.5 trillion in left-wing Democratic priorities, too.
"Now Pelosi has caved. Reports say she will allow the House to vote on the bipartisan infrastructure bill on Thursday. The reason is that the $3.5 trillion bill has just not come together in the Senate. No one seems to know what Democratic Sens. Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema will vote for, and without all 50 Democratic senators on board, the bill will go nowhere. At the very least, it will take a while to do.
"Meanwhile, the $1.1 trillion traditional infrastructure bill has been passed by the Senate. All the House has to do is vote on it. Lawmakers can pass it anytime and send it to the president's desk for signature. And they will do so; there is no way in the world Democrats will just leave $1.1 trillion sitting on the table. And why keep waiting for a $3.5 trillion pie-in-the-sky bill that might or might not happen and in any event will involve more infighting among Democrats? Pass the $1.1 trillion now. Take the win."
I disagree.
Democrats always win the debt ceiling game.
Play on.
ITEM 13: The Wall Street Journal reported, "131 federal judges have violated U.S. law and judicial ethics by overseeing court cases involving companies in which they or their family owned stock.
"A Wall Street Journal investigation found that judges have improperly failed to disqualify themselves from 685 court cases around the nation since 2010. The jurists were appointed by nearly every president from Lyndon Johnson to Donald Trump.
"About two-thirds of federal district judges disclosed holdings of individual stocks, and nearly one of every five who did heard at least one case involving those stocks.
"Alerted to the violations by the Journal, 56 of the judges have directed court clerks to notify parties in 329 lawsuits that they should have recused themselves. That means new judges might be assigned, potentially upending rulings.
"When judges participated in such cases, about two-thirds of their rulings on motions that were contested came down in favor of their or their family’s financial interests."
Either prosecute or repeal the law.
ITEM 14: The Washington Post reported, "The feared eviction ‘tsunami’ has not yet happened. Experts are conflicted on why."
Evictions are the last thing a landlord wants because the apartment sits empty and evicted tenants may leave a huge expensive mess.
Had the government butted out, landlords and tenants would have worked this out. But good economics is not always good politics, is it?
ITEM 15: Axios polled people. It reported, "45% of those surveyed say they trust Biden a great deal or a fair amount to provide them with accurate information about the virus and pandemic, while 53% said they have little or no trust in him."
Credibility is difficult to attain, and easy to lose.
ITEM 16: Reuters reported, "More than 80 aid workers including some employed by the World Health Organization (WHO) were involved in incidents of sexual abuse and exploitation during an Ebola crisis in the Democratic Republic of Congo, an independent commission said on Tuesday.
"The probe was prompted by an investigation last year by the Thomson Reuters Foundation and The New Humanitarian in which more than 50 women accused aid workers from the WHO and other charities of demanding sex in exchange for jobs between 2018-2020.
"In its long-awaited report, the commission found that some 21 of 83 alleged perpetrators were employed by the WHO, and that the abuses, which included nine allegations of rape, were committed by both national and international staff."
For the sake of their daughters and sons, I beg the nations of Africa to ban WHO.
ITEM 17: CBC reported, "Private proof-of-vaccination app Portpass exposed personal information, including the driver's licenses, of what could be as many as hundreds of thousands of users by leaving its website unsecured.
"On Monday evening, CBC News received a tip that the user profiles on the app's website could be accessed by members of the public.
"CBC is not sharing how to access those profiles, in order to protect users' personal information, but has verified that email addresses, names, blood types, phone numbers, birthdays, as well as photos of identification like driver's licenses and passports can easily be viewed by reviewing dozens of users' profiles.
"The information was not encrypted and could be viewed in plain text."
Why do we still trust the government?
(Pause.)
Why do we trust computers?
ITEM 18: The Post Millennial reported, "NBC contributor Noah Berlatsky is now the Communications Director for Prostasia, a not-for-profit group that is reportedly attempting to legitimize pedophilia under the guise of helping children. As part of his work with the group, he has written about legitimizing trans children, conducted interviews about the positive impact of pornography on children, and how the best way to help children who are trafficked into the sex trade is to "decriminalize the sex industry."
"Prostasia offers pedophiles a MAP Support Club, which 'is a peer support chat for minor-attracted people who are fundamentally against child sexual abuse and committed to never harm children, and is a safe space to have peer support in times of trouble.' This group is for people who are aged 13 and up."
Minor-attracted people?
Sickos.
As long as he is on its payroll, NBC is supporting pedophilia.
ITEM 19: We're the government. You don't tell us what to do.
Terry McAuliffe: "I don't think parents should be telling schools what they should teach." pic.twitter.com/7S15pTv1gY
— Greg Price (@greg_price11) September 28, 2021
Virginia has not been run by such a dumbass state government since the Confederacy. And that covers 100 years of Democrat segregationist rule.
McAuliffe will continue the insipidness.
FINALLY, coming up at 11, "If navel gazing were an Olympic sport, CNN would be the dream team."

The fact the Demos cheated in an election where they probably had it sewn anyway tells the public all the talk about '22 and '24 would appear to be smoke and mirrors unless the public stands up and fights back.
Was getting rid of President Donald John Trump worth it?
Of course they would say, "Yes", but, when in the course of human events..., when the people rise up and do something about the crooks in the grand old American tradition, they may come to reflect on the folly of their actions.

ReplyDeleteDr. Joseph Mercola disagrees with you: How the Spike Protein Hurts the Heart The FDA ignored warnings before the vaccine was distributed that it would likely cause organ damage; data published before and after the program was initiated showed it was the spike protein that damaged the microvasculature. … As of September 3, 2021, the vaccine adverse event reporting system (VAERS)4 had received 675,591 reports of adverse events following vaccination. Of these, there were 14,506 deaths, 6,422 heart attacks and 5,371 cases of pericarditis or myocarditis. It is important to note that the VAERS has tracked adverse events since 1990. In 2019, there were 605 reports of deaths from all vaccines given. In 2021, there were 14,594 deaths reported in nine months.
Don is doing what is called “whistling through the graveyard.” I wish him luck, hundreds of millions need a lot of luck.

DeleteFor people over 60, the virus risk is greater than the vaccine risk.
DeleteFor people under 40, the vaccine risk is greater than the virus risk.
It's seems to be part of the human psyche to be a zealot on both sides of every issue. Human nature is religious, not scientific.
Well stated knifecatcher. Logic has largely been lost in this whole discussion.
DeleteIn my opinion, the biggest problem is semantics. By calling this a “vaccine,” it claims equivalence to beneficial vaccines that protect against measles, mumps, diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus, the flu (more or less), and in an earlier era, smallpox and polio.
DeleteBut the mRNA concoction is not a traditional vaccine. It is RNA, a nuclei acid that is involved in the regulation and expression of genes. The genes regulated by the injected RNA are the person’s own genes — their created-at-conception genetic makeup — and does not affect the virus at all. The goal is to tell (the “messenger” part of mRNA) a person’s own genes to reject the virus.
This is completely unlike a true vaccine, whose goal is to train your body to recognize the virus as an invading organism so that your immune system will destroy the invader using cells specifically designed (by God) for that purpose — B-cells, T-cells, and NK (natural killer) cells.
Receiving an injection of mRNA to change your genetic makeup makes you a “genetically modified organism” (GMO), just like food crops that have been genetically modified for drought resistance, pest resistance, longer shipping life, etc. I prefer to be non-GMO.
And may I add Randy, IF the mRNA changes genetic makeup AND IF the virus was created in a lab... then the virus lab could manipulate again the virus to severely impact or kill immediately those who have had their genetic makeup changed.
DeleteBut the Communist would NEVER kill millions of people would they??? China could destroy America without firing a shot in this way.
Is forcing people into a medical experiment without informed consent a crime? Is withholding inexpensive, proven treatment to justify an "emergency authorization" a crime? 3,000 doctors have signed a document calling it a crime against humanity. Is there a jail large enough to hold all of them? The cynical criminals in DC are lucky 80 million people don't rush the place and kill every one of them.
