Will Biden be president in October?

The terrorist attacks in Kabul on American Marines horrify Americans. I do not go by polls. I go by how the pols react. It does not look good for Biden or his heiress apparent, Kamala.

Just the News reported, "Meghan McCain criticized Vice President Kamala Harris on Twitter on Wednesday for visiting a memorial in Vietnam to her late father, Sen. John McCain, instead of focusing on the situation in Afghanistan.

"The vice president's Twitter account posted on Wednesday, 'Today, on the three-year anniversary of his passing, I paid my respects to an American hero, Senator John McCain. At this site in 1967, then-Lieutenant Commander McCain was shot down. We honor his sacrifice in Vietnam, and the sacrifice of all our men and women in uniform.'

"McCain ripped Harris for visiting her father's memorial in Vietnam, instead of giving her attention to the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, where many Americans are still waiting to be evacuated and 12 U.S. service members were killed in explosions and gunfire outside of the Kabul airport on Thursday.

"'If you want to honor my dad's legacy on this anniversary of his death, you would spend every second making sure every single American and Afghan ally is out of harm's way,' McCain tweeted. 'He was nothing if not someone who understood sacrifice and loyalty to the people he served with.'"

Wow.

Not only did McCain support Biden, but her mother works for him.

Perhaps she seeks to diminish the VP in an effort to bolster Biden. If so, that is even worse because it shows desperation.

At the same time, Red State reported, "Despite Americans being stuck in Afghanistan and members of our military dying in attacks made on the Kabul airport, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other House Democrats have decided now was a good time to close up shop, leaving President Joe Biden with the Afghanistan mess.

"According to Fox News, Pelosi and the Democrats stayed only so long as to work on domestic legislative agendas and then left. With the Senate also out, Biden and his advisors are the only Democrats around to deal with the crisis."

Democrat officeholders have abandoned Biden.

As he lacks any base outside of his 51-year-old wasted son and his power-hungry wife (excuse me Dr. Power-Hungry Wife), this could be fatal for his presidency.

Meghan McCain is not the only RINO abandoning him.

Gov. Larry Hogan of Maryland wrote, "This past week, the entire world has been forced to question whether we can trust President Biden’s words. Whether it was his July assessment that a Taliban takeover is 'highly unlikely,' his flat-out false claim that al Qaeda is gone from Afghanistan, or his inexplicable assurances that Americans were not having trouble traveling through Taliban checkpoints, the president has been contradictory, evasive and not in command of basic facts.

"The tragic suicide bombing Thursday at Kabul's airport in Afghanistan that killed our service members and left an untold number of casualties makes it clear the deadly consequences of this catastrophic failure. (A second explosion took place at the nearby Baron Hotel, where Americans have gathered in the past for rescue and evacuation, the Pentagon confirmed.)

"Despite attempts to the contrary, no amount of spin from the White House can hide the unacceptable and outrageous reality that their decisions have put the lives of thousands of Americans at the mercy of the Taliban and other terrorist groups."

Real Republicans are going public with their calls for him to step down.

The Hill reported, "GOP Sens. Josh Hawley (Mo.) and Marsha Blackburn (Tenn.) on Thursday joined a wave of other Republicans calling on President Biden to resign, a demand that surged in the hours following multiple bombings around the airport in Kabul, killing at least 12 U.S. service members.

"Hawley said in a statement issued by his office that Biden 'has now overseen the deadliest day for U.S. troops in Afghanistan in over a decade, and the crisis grows worse by the hour.'

"'We must reject the falsehood peddled by a feckless president that this was the only option for withdrawal,' wrote Hawley, who in April vocalized support for removing all U.S. troops from Afghanistan.

"'This is the product of Joe Biden’s catastrophic failure of leadership,' he added. 'It is now painfully clear he has neither the will nor the capacity to lead. He must resign,' said Hawley, who previously called for the resignations of Biden's security team over the situation in Afghanistan.

"Blackburn issued her demand in a tweet, also calling for the resignations of Vice President Harris, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley."

Fire them all.

The press staggers trying to defend Biden.

The International Business Times tried to make him the victim.

It wrote, "Eyes closing, voice cracking, Joe Biden physically reflected the terrible blow to his presidency from the slaying of 13 US service members during the desperate Kabul evacuation.

"Addressing the nation from the White House, Biden bowed his head for a moment of silence before taking questions from journalists pressing him on the bloody twist in the already tragic operation to shut down the 20-year war in Afghanistan.

"He appeared occasionally close to tears as he spoke of the dead 'heroes.' And when he promised the attackers 'we will hunt you down,' there was steel in his voice.

"No doubt that Biden’s presidency has been shaken to the core by the bombing at Kabul’s airport.

"In January, he took office promising calm at home and respect for the United States abroad after the turbulent Donald Trump years.

"Now Biden’s been left with a mountain to climb if he’s to persuade the nation and America’s partners that either goal remains achievable."

Poor baby.

He has a mountain to climb that he created. And if there is steel in his voice, no one else heard it.

The New York Times defense was downright embarrassing. It said, "It was exactly what President Biden feared most.

"His decision to end America’s longest war was driven, he had said repeatedly, by his determination not to sacrifice even one more member of the military on behalf of an effort he had long believed was no longer in the interests of the United States.

"But on Thursday morning, the withdrawal he set in motion claimed the lives of 13 U.S. troops, along with scores of Afghan civilians — the first American casualties in Afghanistan in 18 months and the deadliest day there for the U.S. military since 2011."

The United States had suffered no combat deaths in this "longest war" since February 2020.

If this is his best defense, we may as well schedule Mattress Kamala's coronation.

Just a day ago, he looked to be getting out from under the mess he created. Had ISIS waited a week, Biden would have been clear.

But had ISIS waited a week, there would be no American television covering it.

  1. If Biden somehow leaves office, Kamala becomes POTUS. From what I've heard, the Ds detest her more than they do Biden right now.

I saw Jesse Kelly on Tucker, and he was GREAT! He verbalized my white-hot rage I've been feeling: I detest the 'scumbags in the White House' as much as the Taliban.

    4. Kinda gotta disagree with you grandma/nonny. I know plenty that voted for him and they don't give a rat's ass about power. They are either just plain STUPID, uninformed, or they HATED Trump. I too, detest them, but for different reasons. I also never liked the oatmeal you used to make for me...to lumpy. PS...tell Paw Paw to zip his fly!!!

    5. A lot of people also vote based on party. Either of the name-brand parties could put a dead cat on the ballot, and a good percentage would vote for it.

  6. Matter of fact, he probably will.

The Demos don't want Chlamydia and the Ice Cream Queen is a crazy drunk.

This, of course, assumes the American people allow it. I think we're approaching critical mass on this.

As for Boobs McCain (sounds like a hooker, much like Heels Up), her dear old dad, along with his BFF, Lurch, abandoned any Americans left in North Vietnam to get a sweetheart deal from Hanoi.

  9. “I myself was to experience how easily one is taken in by a lying and censored press and radio in a totalitarian state. Though unlike most Germans I had daily access to foreign newspapers, especially those of London, Paris and Zurich, which arrived the day after publication, and though I listened regularly to the BBC and other foreign broadcasts, my job necessitated the spending of many hours a day in combing the German press, checking the German radio, conferring with Nazi officials and going to party meetings. It was surprising and sometimes consternating to find that notwithstanding the opportunities I had to learn the facts and despite one’s inherent distrust of what one learned from Nazi sources, a steady diet over the years of falsifications and distortions made a certain impression on one’s mind and often misled it. No one who has not lived for years in a totalitarian land can possibly conceive how difficult it is to escape the dread consequences of a regime’s calculated and incessant propaganda.

Often in a German home or office or sometimes in a casual conversation with a stranger in a restaurant, a beer hall, a café, I would meet with the most outlandish assertions from seemingly educated and intelligent persons. It was obvious that they were parroting some piece of nonsense they had heard on the radio or read in the newspapers. Sometimes one was tempted to say as much, but on such occasions one was met with such a stare of incredulity, such a shock of silence, as if one had blasphemed the Almighty, that one realized how useless it was even to try to make contact with a mind which had become warped and for whom the facts of life had become what Hitler and Goebbels, with their cynical disregard for truth, said they were.”--William L. Shirer, The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich: A History of Nazi Germany

    1. Thank you for posting this. Years ago I recognized the subtle influence on my mind wrought by reading the legacy media and completely stopped. What Shirer says is what I realized: even though I was reading truth from reliable sources, I could not be unaffected if I also read lies and distortions.

  10. I don't think we can wait until October. Unfortunately we don't have a "no confidence" vote that triggers a new election. And there isn't anyone in the statutory presidential succession list that would be any better. IOW, we're screwed.

  11. When one has fallen this far, there is no coming back, especially when the posse has left town. Shamefully, Mattress Back will become president ad we are still in a bind. What happens if she screws up big time? That's not a rhetorical question.Neither Biden nor Harris are respected by the public. Yes, the MSM will attempt to prop them up, but the words of Biden and Harris are already falling on deaf ears. In seven months we already have a failed presidency, and Congressional Republicans better not cross the aisle if they want to keep their sinecures.

  12. o It the "ditch sniffy" thing is actually real, look for the long knives to come out to defenestrate giggles first - when that happens you'll know that they (insiders) are serious.

o The only way that they will be able to defenestrate sniffy will be to stress him until he pops; simply not shielding him from reality will probably be enough, and once giggles has been ejected they can ramp this up. They are power-crazed reptiles and they won't have a problem with stooping to that level of awfulness to get their way.

o The only way out of this is for the entire government to resign and we have new elections, stat. Unprecedented, but these are unprecedented times.

o Memo to the deep state - if this keeps up, you will lose your grift. Let's make a temporary deal - "discover" the election rigging and push on that and we'll be able (via international standards) to get new elections. Take your choice - either align with us to do this, or we'll align with antifa to take you all out.

  17. Best question to Jen Psaski:
If we cannot trust you with the small news, how can we trust her with the big news.
Answer: Blank dumb stare and next question.
For instance who is independently verifying the number of evacuees from Afghanistan? The number of flights? The numbers of Americans left behind as hostages?
If you cannot trust them with the little things, how can you trust them with the big things?

  23. Don: You are assuming that Biden is in charge and that he makes decisions in this piece. However, what is your assumption/premise is wrong! How would you revise your piece? I do not believe he knows that he is president. To state that "I have a list of people to call" or "I will be yelled at" is not a sign of someone who is in charge of anything. My question is: Who is really running this country?

As a Star Trek fan I recall an episode: Patterns of Force" in which the crew of the Enterprise tracks down a Federation observer on a planet dominated by a "Naziesque" regime. Captain Kirk finds out that a Federation Observer John Gill was the cause of this transformation of a primitive culture into a Naziesque regime. At the end of this episode we find that John Gill was mostly comatose and heavily sedated and controlled by the real Tyrant Melakon.

So once again, I am asking: Who is the real life Melakon?
