The banality of our destructors

In the movie "Ghost Busters," Gozer commands them to choose the form of their destructor. They chose the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

We chose his brain.

This is not another knock on Biden. And it is not really another knock on Kamala. 

While neither is a Rhodes scholar, they were smart enough to work the system to become the top man and top woman in the federal government. As for Rhodes scholars, Rachel Maddow is one and she is about as sharp as a button. (And as cute as a tack.)

The problem with the Biden administration is not the Biden part but with the administration part. Jen Psaki is the face of the hacks and unemployable nephews who are running the show. As press secretary, she has somehow managed to piss off the largest gathering of Marxist reporters since the Soviet Union fell.

Her performance is so poor that I wonder if that is the plan. Maybe Democrats tire of having their butts kissed. Lipstick-stained underwear is hard to explain to the wife. Ask Bill Clinton about that.

Psaki is not the exception. Kamala's staff released its "U.S. Strategy for Addressing the Root Causes of Migration in Central America."

The cover letter reveals that in school they wrote essays for length not communication. It begins, "In Central America, the root causes of migration run deep—and migration from the region has a direct impact on the United States. For that reason, our nation must consistently engage with the region to address the hardships that cause people to leave Central America and come to our border.

"For decades, our nation has engaged in Central America. Often well intentioned, the engagement has often not been consistent. And over the last few years, the United States significantly pulled back from work in the region.

"Under our Administration, President Joe Biden and I have restarted our nation’s engagement in Central America and diplomatic efforts with Central American governments. Our Root Causes Strategy is comprehensive and draws from decades of experience—and is based on four core pieces of evidence."

Their use of "root causes" reminds me of what Mary Poppins said about supercalifragilisticexpialidocious: "If you say it loud enough, you'll always sound precocious."

And that is how "root causes" works. Democrats are always looking for root causes. What they mean is substituting the actual solution (in this case, building a border wall) with what they really want to do (import Central American welfare recipients to overwhelm red states).

But the poor quality of writing reveals the shortcomings of a staff made up of the deputies to the Obama administration. It is like a Xerox copy of a copy that's been Xeroxed 10 times before.

Incompetence in government leaves me with mixed emotion. On the one hand, the nincompoopery can kill people. Consider the flustercuck response to covid 19. Only Kristi Noem got it right.

On the other hand, these mental midgets in the Biden administration are so overwhelmed by the power they have that they are not seeking to expand that power.

And you had better hope Biden and Harris hold on because Nancy Pelosi waits in the wings to swoop in.

Dennis Miller has derided her intellect for decades. Do not underestimate her. She knows the levers of power, having turned the Capitol Police into her personal Not So Secret Police. Right now they are threatening to arrest unmasked Republicans.

Nancy designed new uniforms for them.

So thank goodness for the benign banality of the Biden bunch.

But these marshmallow heads are the form of our destructor, nevertheless. And they openly are importing millions of illegal aliens from Central America. It is intentional, of course. 

There are no unintended consequences when it comes to Democrats. What we conservatives mock as unintended are really the intended outcome. They really do want to bring high crime and misery to the cities they control.

What Democrats get wrong is the magnitude of their evil. They are the Sorcerer's Apprentice who learns the hard way that he does not know how to stop the mops and buckets.

They are unable to understand the full depth of the danger of the forces they unleash. When this administration is over, America will not only have to undo the damage their policies produced but America also will have to deal with the evil Democrats imported.

That is how fishhooks work. They are more painful to take out than put in.

Remember, this is intentional.
