How dare you boo! Do you know who my daddy was?

To the amusement of millions of real Americans, Utah Republicans booed and heckled Mitt Romney at their state convention on Saturday. The real delight was his defense.

He said, "You can boo all you like. I’ve been a Republican all of my life. My dad was the governor of Michigan and I was the Republican nominee for president in 2012."

He's 74.

And he still is clinging to who his daddy was.

And while he may have been the nominee in 2012, he ain't no Republican today. He lost that credential when he became the first senator to ever vote to remove his party's president via impeachment.

4 years after his party rallied behind him, Romney turned his back on his party's nominee. And by doing so, he showed what he truly is.

Worthless.

His daddy ain't around to defend the boy.

The 74-year-old boy.

Romney is part a trio of daddy's little girls who used the party of their father to gain federal office only to turn on the party that supported them and their families for years. Lisa Murkowski, whose daddy was governor of Alaska, and Liz Cheney, whose daddy was vice president, are the other two EPs -- Entitled Princesses -- who are sabotaging the republican Party.

Contrast and compare their actions to Senator Shelley Moore Capito. Being the daughter of a rare Republican governor of West Virginia got her foot in the door, but two decades of hard work in the House and later the Senate have earned her respect and trust. She is working with Delaware Democrat Senator Thomas Carper on an infrastructure compromise.

The three EPs are no ordinary turncoats. No, no, no. Rather they are insufferable sanctimonious turncoats, who try to make their aiding and abetting Democrats out to be high-minded, as if being a Republican is immoral.

Romney said on Saturday, "I’ve learned that if you don’t follow your conscience, it haunts you for a long, long time. At this stage in life, I’m not going to do that anymore."

Oh really?

So just when did Mittens not follow his conscience?

Was it when he kissed up to President-elect Donald Trump in the hope of getting to be secretary of state?

Or was it in 2012 when he was the Republican nominee? Was he just pretending to be conservative?

I prefer a man who is a man and follows his conscience all along, rather than someone who discovers it on his 70th birthday.

Of course, this great man of blinding virtue won't confess just when he acted against everything he said he stood for. Asked to cite a time when he did not follow his conscience, Romney chuckled and said, "I’m not going to tell you."

These backstabbers promote the Democrat Party. When they lose an argument within the party, they don't hunker down to work within the party. No, no, no. These second-generation weasels immediately head for the bank of microphones to slander their party as racist, nativist, and all those other deplorable things elitists like Hillary call the party.

It is a game of power. George Romney's boy wanted to be the kingmaker in 2016, but The Donald trumped him. It's been nothing  but butt-hurt ever since.

Utah Republicans on Saturday told him they have had enough of his claptrap. Their booing the phony was an eloquent statement of hope.

I get that we cannot expect purity. There will be disagreements. People will make mistakes.

But voting in January to impeach the best Republican president since Reagan was not a mistake. It was a cold-hearted and calculated stab between the ribs of every one of the 75 million people who voted for Donald John Trump.

Booed? He is lucky they did not throw him a blanket party.

  1. The measure of arrogance and ignorance [read: Mr. Romney]. I remember Saturday reading the Daily Mail (my go-to read for vacuous political reporting), and was stunned same that Romney sounded like a the little rich boy doing the, "...nah, nah, nah, nah, nah" thing to the booing crowd. Whatta putz! Zb

  3. Not only did Romney vote in support of Trump's impeachment....TWICE, but he did so after Trump gave him his support in the Utah election for Senator, and campaigned for him.
So much for Romney's loyalty and gratitude

    1. Dubya's friendship with the Obamas is easy to understand: he's a damn Globalist, just like his father. Claiming to be a republican doesn't mean schiff anymore. As a wise old lady was quoted as saying, "You can put them kittens in the oven but that won't make 'em biscuits."

Very revealing that he didn't mention that he served two terms as governor of Massachusetts, because that would remind the convention of his carpetbagger status.

    1. Sestamibi, Romney only served ONE term as Governor of Massachusetts; from 2003 to 2007. Then he ran for the GOP Presidential nomination and lost to another RINO, McCain.

    2. Yes, I stand corrected, but still Romney didn't mention it in his obloquy.

  6. It has become obvious to me that Romney, Cheney, GW Bush, etc. firmly believe that the people who vote Republican are actually racist mysoginist illiterates. These RINOs are genuinely embarrassed by the rank and file because they believe the MSMs portrayal of rural voters, preferring to mingle with the DC crowd as opposed to getting to know actual rural voters.

  8. "So just when did Mittens not follow his conscience?"
It was when he became a "severe conservative"

My question is will he now leave Utah and retreat like a dog with his tail between his legs on the roof of the car back to Massachusetts?

  10. The recent antics of Mittens and Dubya prove what became blindingly clear during the 2016 election -- the two parties in the US are not Rs and Ds. Instead, one is the permanent bipartisan fusion party, characterized now by its globalist impulses, and the other are those Americans who, like President Trump, remain staunch defenders of a United States that acts in its own interests first and who have no use for the gloabalists whose only interest is to hobble the United States.

The result of the existence of the Fusion Party is the election of Plugs Xiden, who is the living embodiment of the Manchurian Candidate. The corruption in this group is beyond measure.

    You understate this.

  14. Look for him to change his party affiliation and let the Democrats have a majority in the Senate. It's his only move at this point and I don't understand why he's waited so long to do it.

It will happen at just the wrong moment for the country and will knock this country down for the count. It'll be some block buster of a bill that is unconstitutional and unconscionable.

And Romeny will make it happen.

  15. Hiding behind pedigree and resume' is called "an appeal to authority". Americans need leadership, not debating tricks from a guy who laid down for the fight like a bum prize-fighter.

  16. Old Mittens bragging about his father reminds me of a Pogo comic I saw in 1968.

George Romney was sort-of running and sort-of not running for the Pubbie nomination. Not only did he wobble about whether or not he was running, but he wobbled on the major election issue, the Vietnam War. He was against it, then for it, then claimed he had been "brainwashed", so he was against it again.

The Pogo cartoon portrayed him as a wind-up toy - that walked in circles, then fell on its face.

  17. Worthless now. Worthless when he was my governor in Massachusetts. Nothing wrong with Mittens that a severely deflated ego would fix.

  31. Mitt does not seem to understand the reality of the age in which we live. He thinks Democrats are decent folks who just have different policy preferences, when in fact their party has gone full Marxist and will destroy the country as we know it given the opportunity to do so. In this sense he has made himself a useful stooge for the Left, just like all Never Trumpers.
