AP was a human shield for Hamas

Israel Defense Forces bombed a Hamas-owned building that the totally objective Associated Press and other news organizations used as offices.

The IDF gave the journalists an hour to pack before the bombing.

AP is all upset over this. Its CEO Gary Pruitt said, "We are shocked and horrified that the Israeli military would target and destroy the building housing AP’s bureau and other news organizations in Gaza. They have long known the location of our bureau and knew journalists were there. We received a warning that the building would be hit.

"We are seeking information from the Israeli government and are engaged with the U.S. State Department to try to learn more.

"This is an incredibly disturbing development. We narrowly avoided a terrible loss of life. A dozen AP journalists and freelancers were inside the building and thankfully we were able to evacuate them in time.

"The world will know less about what is happening in Gaza because of what happened today."

***

You know what shocks me?

That AP served as a human shield for Palestinian terrorists.

Providing a steady flow of anti-Israel and anti-Semitic propaganda was not enough for the Marxists at AP. No, they had to set up their offices in a building that is used to hide terrorists.

Erick-Woods Erickson wrote, "Do you really believe the Associated Press is capable of telling the truth when its reporters are working in the same building as terrorists and that building is owned by those terrorists?

"This is a truly stunning admission and another example of why American citizens may not be getting the whole truth from the press on what is happening in Israel right now.

"It is also extremely notable that the Associated Press’s statement on the matter acknowledged the Israelis gave advanced notice of the building’s destruction so the reporters could get out safely, but the AP failed to acknowledge the building is a Hamas intelligence facility."

The German news agency DPA did report that.

DPA said, "The air force also destroyed a high-rise in the Gaza Strip that was housing the offices of several media organizations, the military said. According to media reports, the building housed the Associated Press and Al Jazeera.

"The military said the building also contained military assets belonging to the Hamas movement, adding it had warned civilians ahead of the strike and left them time to evacuate."

i24 was even more explicit, reporting, "The IDF fighter jets razed on Saturday afternoon a high-rise building in the Gaza Strip hosting the Hamas military intelligence units.

"The Jala Tower complex in the Gaza Strip is also where the Gaza offices of several international news media outlets are based, including the Associated Press and al-Jazeera."

The decision to take out the building shows Israel is no longer playing along with these terrorists. Decades of attacks and the refusal of Palestinian leaders to reach a peace treaty have resulted in a determination to just get rid of the problem.

The Washington Post said in a headline, "With strikes targeting rockets and tunnels, the Israeli tactic of ‘mowing the grass’ returns to Gaza."

The grass is so tall, you need sickles.

What is the downside to bombing the building that housed the center of Hamas spying?

AP is going to give the IDF bad publicity?

It already is.

That is the problem with being blatantly propagandistic. After a while, you just play to an echo chamber.

The upside to this is that the IDF has just exposed the AP as a participant in the Global War on Terrorism.

AP sides with terrorists by providing human shields for Hamas.

I did not know that until today.

Millions of Americans did not.

It will be interesting to see what the Biden White House reaction is. Biden dispatched Lebanese-born Hady Amr to try to settle the dispute. I like Israel's way to settle things. Obliterate the terrorists.

In 50 years, some PM can apologize for ending the terror.

Says who? Besides Israel of course. Nobody.

The question you deliberately don't ask is whose land was the building sitting on?

Not that it matters to you zealots of course it doesn't. You think Israel owns the entire middle east or at least should be able to dictate terms to its neighbors.

And Israel has been saying for some 30 years now how Iran is, any day now, about to acquire nukes. Real soon! We promise!

Both sides lie about everything of course it's a religious war.

What amazes me is you think that Palestine should abide living under martial law, on their own U.N. designated land, including the rationing of power, food and medicine and be happy about it.

Israel deliberately provokes them so they can respond ruthlessly in 'self-defense'. But it's martial law there so naturally there will be violence.

And why should Americans fund this war?

Y'all are the most biblically illiterate people alive today. You love to hate people if they don't act like you want.

Be it China, Iran, Venezuela it matters not. You want to end trade with them, and you love to impose sanctions which are anti-trade, when the Bible commands trading with nations that hate you. See Deut chapter 2.

God knows that when goods are traded the chance for violence is much less. Hardly any trade is done between Israel and Palestine its by design. And what little trade there is its strictly controlled by guess who.

Only emotions matter to zealots. Not the Bible or common human decency. Israel is full of those who call themselves Jews but are not. It's been that way since the prophet Samuel.

    4. The Palestinian/hamas government is so corrupt, it makes our government look like we were back in George Washington’s time. Aid Money doesn’t flow to the people. It funds terrorism. Their leadership is killing their people, not Israel. Israel wants peace.

  3. I can't understand why the IDF gave them any warning whatsoever. Blow up the building, with the terrorists, and the terrorist supporting AP, inside.

Steinfels reports that recent polls reveal that four times as many Jews belong

numbers of other white voting groups. Almost two to one, Jews believe in the legal
    right to abortion.

As I said facts matter not to zealots.

Asking him to separate out observant Jews from cultural Jews is like asking a Liberal to add 2 + 2.

In both cases, the moron responds with stunned silence, their broken minds stuck in its tracks when faced with the difficulty of the requested task.

  7. A heathen who busies himself with the study of the Law deserves
death. He should occupy himself with the (study) of the seven commandments only. So too, a heathen who keeps a day of rest, even if it be on
a weekday, if he has set it apart as his Sabbath, is deserving of death.
It is needless to state that he merits death if he makes a new festival for
himself. The general principle is: none is permitted to introduce innovations into religion or devise new commandments. The heathen has the
choice between becoming a true proselyte by accepting all the commandments, and adhering to his own religion, neither adding to it nor
subtracting anything from it. If therefore he occupies himself with the
study of the Law, or observes a day of rest, or makes any innovation,
he is flogged, or otherwise punished and advised that he is deserving of
death, but he is not put to death.

  15. I greatly appreciate Don, and this post, but let’s get one thing straight.

We KNOW the AP is NOT ON OUR SIDE!

Nothing they do, just like nothing JoeBama* does against the interests of the USA or Israel, surprise me.

    Nothing.

That means that if I learn an AP “journalist” participated in a plot to assassinate President Donal Trump to prevent him from regaining the office which was stolen away from him and the people who voted for him, I will NOT be Surprised.
