The real problem is minorities refusing the vaccine

According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, white people make up 60% of the U.S. population.

Also according to the Kaiser Family Foundation, white people make up 65% of the vaccine takers.

So why is the Biden administration pushing the narrative that white Trump supporters are refusing to take the vaccine when the problem is minority Biden supporters?

Well, that question self-answered.

The Washington Times reported, "White House press secretary Jen Psaki said the Biden administration is currently engaged with NASCAR and Country Music TV, among multiple other venues, in an effort to reach White conservatives who may be hesitant to get vaccinated against COVID-19."

That is nice but the real problem is only 8% of the people vaccinated are black. 12% of the nation is black. 11% of the people vaccinated are Hispanic, who make up 18% of the population. 5% of the people vaccinated are Asian, who make up 6% of the population.

Many are the reasons for this. The old were the first in line for vaccines and the older population is more white than the general population.

KFF blamed supply not demand for the disparity.

It said, "As observed in prior weeks, there is a consistent pattern across states of black and Hispanic people receiving smaller shares of vaccinations compared to their shares of cases and deaths and compared to their shares of the total population.

"For example, in California, 23% of vaccinations have gone to Hispanic people, while they account for 55% of cases, 47% of deaths, and 40% of the total population in the state. Similarly, in the District of Columbia, black people have received 37% of vaccinations, while they make up 49% of cases, 69% of deaths, and 46% of the total population. However, the size of these differences varies across states, with smaller differences observed largely in states that have smaller shares of Hispanic and black residents overall."

Those statistics raise another question: Why are black and Hispanic people not taking precautions to avoid the spread of covid 19?

When a group of people are 40% of the population and 47% of the deaths (as Hispanics are in California) then that group is doing something wrong.

When a group is 46% of the population and 69% of the deaths (as black people are in DC) then that group is doing something wrong.

The lower vaccination rates indicate a lack of interest in stopping the spread of covid 19.

It is nice to have NASCAR and Country Music TV run "Get Vaccinated, Honkies" PSAs, that ignores the deadlier problem of convincing Biden supporters to get vaccinated.

Kamala Harris is part of the problem.

Last September, she said she would not trust a Trump vaccine, as CNN put it.

That anti-vaxxer message did not expire on Election Day because she tainted the entire development of the three vaccines that President Trump brought forth.

Of course, getting people vaccinated is not the goal of the Biden administration's outreach. This is an attempt to shame Trump supporters.

The only goal of Democrats is to obtain and maintain power, which is why everything is politicized now, including vaccinations.

    1. Daniel Horowitz broke down the racial and ethnic disparity on death rates awhile back on Conservative Review. It was quite good. A lot of it has to do with location and other factors, not race or ethnicity.

      Same principle, moron.

Goes back to the old Chinese Proverb about he who raises his voice first is the one losing the argument.

      The way you're doing now.

I am greatly appreciative of the blinding truth of Don’s post.

The Democrats and their Corporate Propagandists constantly complained (and still do today) that President Trump was polarizing and divisive; but President Trump worked non-stop to unite all Americans based on Patriotism and Love of Country.

President Trump only criticized those Americans who publicly attacked him and his supporters (including very early on, in a way that I appreciated but ticked off GOPe snobs, John McCain); and non-Americans (Mexican and other nationality illegal immigrants ARE NOT Americans; even though the Democrats I know call them the “New and Better Americans”).

On the other hand, Democrats since the rise of Obama have gone out of their way to demonize, stigmatize, and ostracize those Americans who do not support Democrats’ efforts to “fundamentally transform” the USA into a Socialist Authoritarian Hellhole.

  8. My wife, nurse of 50 years' experience, worked 5 years in communicable disease and says you haven't tested a vaccine if you haven't taken 2 years to do it.

Especially if the disease has a 99+% survival rate and it's not a vaccine, but gene therapy.

Don talks about how the lying dogfaced pony soldier is stealing the credit for Trump's accomplishment. Let him. As I've said, this is the first vaccine with a body count.

Whites don't trust an Administration that had to manufacture votes by the 10s of millions. Blacks remember Tuskeegee. This is where all the race-baiting comes back to bite them.

    Not hard at all.

  10. "So why is the Biden administration pushing the narrative that white Trump supporters are refusing to take the vaccine when the problem is minority Biden supporters?" Because all they can do is LIE to us, and we all KNOW they are lying to us.

"When a group is 46% of the population and 69% of the deaths (as black people are in DC) then that group is doing something wrong." Nooooo, they REMEMBER what happened at the Tuskeegee "experiment."

  11. Yeah. You take it. I'll check back with you in a year. The _one time I got a flu shot I was sick every other week. This crap, who knows what's in it.

  12. Maybe Occam’s razor is at play. Maybe people just don’t want to take the vaccine. Maybe people don’t want to take any vaccine like the annual flu shot.

This is from the all knowing CDC’s web site - “ 2019–20 flu season. Vaccination coverage with ≥1 dose of flu vaccine was 63.8% among children 6 months through 17 years, an increase of 1.2 percentage points from the 2018–19 flu season, and flu vaccination coverage among adults ≥18 years was 48.4%, an increase of 3.1 percentage points from the prior season. Half (51.8%) of persons six months and older were vaccinated during the 2019–20 season, an increase of 2.6 percentage points from the prior season.”

I don’t take a flu shot. I am not taking a Chinese Virus shot. I am not alone.
