Highlights of the News

If you have never heard this song before, you're welcome.

ITEM 1: Jeff Charles reported, "Republican Voters Would Rather Bathe in Battery Acid Than to Nominate Liz Cheney for President."

Fact check: TRUE.

And it is Liz! Same old deep state incest. This time in a dress.

ITEM 2: The Daily Caller reported, "The U.S. Department of State referred to the crisis at the U.S. southern border as 'irregular migration' in a Tuesday statement applauding Vice President Kamala Harris’ 'leadership.' "

Irregular, as if an invasion is a three-armed sweatshirt.

ITEM 3: Vox reported, "What to expect from Joe Biden’s first address to Congress."

Here is what I expect: Chris Wallace to declare it be the greatest address to Congress in history.

Oh, and I expect none of my readers to bother tuning in.

ITEM 4American Shipper reported, "The number of container ships stuck at anchor off Los Angeles and Long Beach is down to around 20 per day, from 30 a few months ago. Does this mean the capacity crunch in the trans-Pacific market is finally easing? Absolutely not, warned Nerijus Poskus, a vice president at freight forwarder Flexport. 'It’s not getting better. It’s getting worse,' he told American Shipper in an interview on Monday.

" 'What I’m seeing is unprecedented. We are seeing a tsunami of freight,' he reported.

" 'For the month of May, everything on the trans-Pacific is basically sold out. We had one client who needed something loaded in May that was extremely urgent and who was ready to pay $15,000 per container. I couldn’t get it loaded — and we are a growing company that ships a lot of TEUs [twenty-foot equivalent units]. Price doesn’t always even matter anymore.' "

What we are seeing is a booming economy -- in Red China.

We also are seeing American money go the way of the Zimbabwean dollar as we no longer make the things we need, and our government floods the stock market with cash to keep the Dow from collapsing.

Communist Covid and Red China's collaborators in DC -- Tony Fauci and company -- did this.

ITEM 5: The Washington Post said, "CDC says fully vaccinated Americans can go without masks outdoors, except in crowded settings."

Except you must say "Mother May I?" first, or you will have to go back to Go.

I am beginning to believe the CDC knows about as much about controlling disease as the Department of Labor knows about hard work.

ITEM 6: ABC reported, "As the world has seen images of migrant children being dropped over the border or left for dead, the Department of Homeland Security on Tuesday announced an effort to prevent transnational crime organizations from smuggling migrants across the border.

"DHS said Operation Sentinel will be focused not only on cutting off transnational crime organizations funding, but on the actual operations of smuggling."

Here's an idea.

Why don't we build a 30-foot tall wall along our Mexican border? That would stop 90% of the smuggling.

ITEM 7: CNBC reported, "Seth Andrew, who served as an education advisor in the Obama White House, was arrested Tuesday morning on charges of scheming to steal $218,005 from a public charter school network that he founded, federal authorities said.

"Andrew, 42, was busted in New York City, where he and his wife, CBS News anchor Lana Zak, have a residence valued at more than $2 million.

"The founder of Democracy Prep Public Schools is accused of using more than half of the allegedly stolen money from that network to maintain a bank account minimum that gave him a more favorable interest rate for a mortgage on his and Zak’s Manhattan residence. Zak was not charged in the case.

"Prosecutors said Andrew in 2019 — more than two years after severing ties with Democracy Prep — looted a series of escrow accounts he had previously set up for individual schools within Democracy Prep’s network, and then used their funds to open a business account in the name of one of the schools at a bank."

Hmm. She was not charged. Looks like Zak has PJP.

Prominent Journalist Privilege.

ITEM 8: NBC reported, "Andrew Brown Jr. shot five times, once in back of head, according to family-backed autopsy."

That's what happens when you run away from police when they go to arrest you for peddling cocaine.

But Nancy Pelosi will thank him for sacrificing his life to help her push a racist narrative.

ITEM 9: The Los Angeles Times reported, "Los Angeles police officials want nearly $67 million more in funding and about 50 additional officers to comply with dozens of recommendations for improving the department’s response to protests and other civil unrest.

"The estimates, which were detailed in a report from LAPD Chief Michel Moore and are expected to be discussed by the civilian Police Commission on Tuesday, drew a quick backlash from LAPD critics. The protests that exposed the LAPD’s shortcomings, they pointed out, were in large part fueled by demands that police funding be reduced, not increased."

In real life, when you screw up, you get canned.

In government life, you get more money.

Then again, that is a good way to top critics. Agree with their recommendations and demand more money to implement them.

ITEM 10: Yahoo News reported, "US could ban menthol cigarettes in a win for racial health equity."

Anyone who was in the Army in the 1960s, 1970s, or 1980s knows this to be true. The bros smoked Kools and Newports.

While we are banning tobacco cigarettes, we are legalizing marijuana. This makes no sense other than Big Cannabis has bigger money than Big Tobacco.

But I partake in neither bad habit, so I leave it to the potheads and smokers to sort this all out.

ITEM 11: Breitbart Politics reported, "Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday highlighted violence against minority groups as a 'root cause' of migration that she wanted to tackle in Central America.

"Harris hosted a video conference call with Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei Tuesday afternoon to discuss the migrant crisis, calling out violence against 'women, Indigenous people, LGBTQ people, and Afro-descendants' in the country."

Gee, I thought liberals told us that they came here to do the jobs Americans won't do.

And liberals also said this is a racist, sexist, homophobic, genocidal country. So why are "women, Indigenous people, LGBTQ people, and Afro-descendants" coming here? Shouldn't they flee for Cuba, Iran, Red China, or any of those other countries liberals like?

ITEM 12: The Daily Mail reported, "Hunter Biden is helping teach a class on fake news at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana this fall.

"The course titled 'Media Polarization and Public Policy Impacts' will include several guest speakers throughout its 10 weeks, including the president's son.

"The course description, according to a copy of the syllabus obtained by DailyMail.com, says: 'America's rapidly advancing partisan divide is fueled substantially by the growing political polarization increasingly evident in our news media.'

" 'This course will explore the current state of the media landscape in the United States and how media polarization, fake news, and the economics of the news business impact public policymaking in Washington, D.C,' it continues.

"Hunter, 51, is a Yale-educated lawyer and has never, in any capacities, worked as a journalist, reporter or in the media world."

Actual experience never stopped him from received $1 million a year from a Ukrainian energy company.

ITEM 13: The Daily Mail reported, "A suspected drunk driver streamed herself on Facebook Live saying f**k the police while drinking vodka shots hours before she struck and killed a veteran cop in a hit-and-run in New York City, it is claimed.

"Jessica Beauvais, 32, posted a 1 hour and 51 minute livestream on her Facebook page Monday evening as part of her Face the Reality radio show where she addressed the trial of white ex-cop Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd, slammed police officers and the justice system and played N.W.A song F**k Tha Police."

The story said, "Hours later, Beauvais allegedly got behind the wheel of her Volkswagen and plowed into NYPD Highway Officer Anastasios Tsakos, 43, on the Long Island Expressway around 2 am Tuesday morning.

"Tsakos was redirecting traffic following a separate fatal car accident in Queens when Beauvais' car allegedly veered and struck officer Tsakos head on. Tsakos, 43 year-old married father to a 3-year-old son and six year-old daughter, was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead."

Tulane will hire Beauvais to teach a class on race relations for its criminal justice department.

ITEM 14: NBC reported, "The American Medical Association is urging governors across the country to oppose legislation prohibiting transition-related care for minors, calling such proposals 'a dangerous governmental intrusion into the practice of medicine.' "

The AMA calls abortion health care.

They told the hippies in the 1960s to work within the system.

They did.

That system is now destroyed.

ITEM 15: CNBC reported, "A duo of industrial earnings has shed a light on supply chain constraints companies are facing.

"General Electric CEO Larry Culp told CNBC on Tuesday that the company had seen supply chain issues and would raise prices to offset cost pressures in materials such as electronics, resins and steel.

"3M also said that during its quarter it saw strong demand but also supply chain disruptions from the pandemic and winter storms that had driven up the price of raw materials."

Red China owns your supply chains now.

You will get what Red China wants you to have, and you will pay the price Red China commands.

ITEM 16: Breitbart reported, "California’s Secretary of State has rejected 20% of all the signatures gathered thus far to force a recall election of Governor Gavin Newsom, according to figures released on Monday, but rejected fewer than 1% of mail-in ballots during the 2020 presidential election."

Learn to ballot harvest.

ITEM 17: The New York Post canned Laura Italiano, the reporter who made up a story about Homeland Security buying Kamala Harris's children's book in bulk and placing them in welcome kits for illegal aliens.

CNN spun it as a resignation.

Whatever.

When will CNN fire Jake Tapper, Carl Bernstein and the rest of the people who promoted the false Russian Collusion hoax?

FINALLY, top down days are here again. The skies above are clear again. Let us sing a song of cheer again. Top down days are here again!

  1. ITEM 16: Don writes “Learn top ballot harvest.”

Makes more sense than Don’s typical throwaway line “Learn to ballot harvest.”

What point does it make for the Republicans to “ballot harvest” when the Democrats have the power to decide their fake votes counts and Republicans real votes don’t count.

The actual reality of the story in ITEM 16 seems to escape Don entirely.

It’s too bad, the rest of Don’s column this morning was fine.

By the way, if Don is going to continue to repeat the saying “Learn to Ballot Harvest” as if it has any real meaning, perhaps Don can take the time to prepare a handy booklet for the average Republican called:

“How to (not “top”) Ballot Harvest for Dummies (aka Republicans)”

    1. Susie, did you get up on the wrong side of the cornflakes this morning? As for #11, I have a question for Cam-Ella: are Guatemalans minorities in Guatemala?

    2. Ballot harvesting won't do the trick. Having our own Rent-A-Mobs just might.

BLM is the Demos' SA. Looks like we need ours.

And the upturned thump is actually a No vote.

  6. 12 - That last should read:

Actual experience never stopped him from receiving $1 million a year from a corrupt Ukrainian energy company, so that the company could - via him - get his father (aka "The Big Guy") to spike a criminal investigation into that company by Ukraine's Ministry of Justice.

11 - So violence against anyone not on that list is okay?

  7. ITEM 1 - Washington politicians tend to be disconnected from the real world outside their domain.

ITEM 3 - The only reason to want to listen to Biden's speech is to look for gaffes and flubs.

ITEM 5 - My spouse is giving me a hard time about not wearing masks outdoors even though I have had both vaccinations. She is in a panic about "variances." It just shows how the CDC quacks have screwed up our lives.

ITEM 6 - Finishing President Trump's wall would save Homeland Security money. This is a no-no in Washington, because the more money you spend there, the more important you are.

ITEM 10 - When I served in Vietnam, the locals there marveled at our technology in putting menthol in cigarettes and deodorant in bars of soap. You would think we invented the wheel or something.

ITEM 11- Kamala does things ass backwards, which is what may have gotten Willie Brown excited in the first place.

ITEM 12 - Hunter Biden teaching a course on fake news is like the captain of the Titanic teaching a course on navigation.

  9. I've heard this song before, but not with the videos. Thanks for the heart-starter! Ya done GOOOOOOOOOOOD.

    Item 1: ABSO-DAMN-LUTELY!!!

Item 2: "Irregular, as if an invasion is a three-armed sweatshirt." You gotta WAY with words, Don!

Item 3: I'm sure it will be spoken and played to a host of TV cameras so that it can be edited down to something that sounds (almost) "natural". Cynical? Moi???

Item 5: I have my Covid papers. I carry it in my shirt pocket, so that I can hold it out in my left hand, raise my right arm to 45-degrees, und zay, "Hier is mein papier, Herr/Frau Oberst!!" (I took German in college.)

Item 13: That is some CLASSIC sarcasm, Don!

Item 17: The NYP has integrity. The NYT has NONE.

  10. #5 - I thought vaccines(vax) protected you. I learned yesterday that it the case only in wide open spaces where those tiny covids cant gang up and overpower the vax. In enclosed spaces, the covids are powerful and you still need to wear the worthless masks.(viruses are so small they easily pass thru the gaps)

I guess I was taught fake science oh so many years ago. I was taught if the vax was successful, I could sit in a room full of virus exhalers with complete immunity and that cloth masks were "zero" protection from a virus. I guess, in the 50 odd years that I have been out of school, those pesky viruses have have learned, that if they "gang up", they can defeat the vax and forgotten how to go thru the cloth masks.

Makes me think this has been a power and control issue all along. If so, they have proven it in spades.

  11. re: the Dept. of Labor, here's a funny true (true) story:

My dad was driving around DC with some big wig from the DoL circa the 1970s and asked, "How many people work there?" "About half," came the reply.

9: In real life, when you screw up, you get canned.

Another way of stating Stantz' Law: You've never been out of college! You don't know what it's like out there! I've WORKED in the private sector. They expect results.

11: Notice Mushmouth didn't mention Orientals.

13: Let's all play Guess The Race.

14: That particular system was destroyed around 1980.

16: No, don't be nice guys. They'll have to destroy a lot of signatures to save Newsom.

Too damn many people tried to do it through the orderly process of the system last year. You don't take, "Go away", for an answer.
