Primary and purge

I see where 2 challengers have announced they will primary Liz the Impeacher Cheney, the No. 3 Republican leader in the House.

One down, 210 to go.

For 4 years, Trump supporters went along to get along. Where did it get us? Chairman Xiden plans to hunt us down, kick us off social media, and make our lives miserable.

For 4 years Republicans did nothing to help us. They failed to fund the wall. They failed to repeal Obamacare. They failed to strip Section 230 protection from Twitter and other online censors. They failed to listen to legitimate complaints about election fraud.

Lesson learned.

Bush 43, Dick Cheney, the McCains, and Romney spent the last 4 years in opposition to their party's president.

No loyalty for him, no loyalty from us.

Next year, all 211 Republican members of the House should face a Trumpian opponent in the primary. I don't care who they are or how loyal they have said they are to him. Everyone must be primaried. No one should get a free pass.

20 Republican senators are up for re-election. 2 already announced their retirements. Good because all 20 deserve to be primaried, even Rand Paul.

You primary them to put fear in them. Let no one slide. None. Not even Lauren Boebert. The one thing every adult American has is the power to vote, and that power must be exercised with authority. Nothing is more authoritative than an electorate that throws the bums out.

Incumbents will argue that this will weaken them in the general election.

So?

How is that our concern? This was supposed to be Donald Trump's second term. It isn't, and a big reason for that is the indifference of Republicans in Congress.

Paybacks are a female dog.

Now the chances of knocking them all off is too infinitesimal to bother calculating.

This brings me to step two. You look at the incumbents who survive the primary, and pass judgment on them.

If Boebert survives, Trump supporters should campaign vigorously for her.

If Cheney survives, stay home because it does not matter which Democrat wins in Wyoming.

This will not divide the party. It is already divided between the 95% who voted for President Trump and the 5% who did not. Alas, Republicans in Washington are treating Biden better than they treated President Trump!

The way you change that is to change elected officials. If that means Democrats pick up a few more seats, so what? Cheney is a Democrat but Republicans made her the No. 3 leader in the House.

Party discipline is that important. Democrats punish disloyalty. Republicans reward it. That must change. Primarying them and purging the party of disloyal elected officials is the way to do this.

I mean, what good was controlling the House, the Senate, and the presidency for 2 years if we got nothing done legislatively besides a tax cut?

  1. Liz Cheney is another casualty consumed by the Swamp. Of course, she put up no resistance to the Swamp creatures.... See ya on your inevitable CNN gig, Liz.

  2. It is the press, not the DParty, that Doles out rewards. The way L. Greenberg smirks at Roberts. The way the UniParty’s docile rump begs for attention from their hometown paper. And the way local broadcasters submit to the Narrative in hopes of landing a prestigious Post in the City that’s Always Asleep.

Time to let them know there’s a switch.

    1. I’ll agree with that Doug. I’d like to see an invigorated Repub party that damns the torpedoes and gets people with a spine in charge. Liz and Pierre Delecto need to go - they ain’t had a spine in years.

  5. It has been made abundantly clear that unless major changes are made, there is no point whatsoever in voting at all, even to primary RINO's. The Deep State machine will choose the winners of any election. Yes, a few R's may get elected/re-elected, but you can be sure they are RINO's well vetted by the machine and their election is purely for propaganda purposes.
I'm willing to give Lauren Boebert the benefit of the doubt until she establishes a political record. She is even more of a political outsider than Trump was. So far she's caused a lot of ruffled feathers with her insistence on carrying a weapon into the Capitol. She has the legal right to walk around the metal detectors if she wishes--check out the Constitution on any interference with her duties as a congresscritter.

    1. I tend to agree with the assessment that we can't ignore the massive fraud that just occurred - since if they get away with it unscathed, they will do it again and expand it across the ballot.

Need to keep attacking the courts on that front - even if it doesn't change the outcome of the last fraud, getting it into the sunlight and keeping it from happening again is a minimum requirement for future politics.

Speaking of which, isn't SCOTUS supposed to hear the PA case tomorrow?

      Delete
    2. Yup.

If they say PA is illegal, do we get Joe and the Ho impeached and Trump reinstated?

      If not, why not?

    3. That's an interesting question. As I started mentioning back in November, fraud has special status in the law (such as overriding LLC protections), and as Sidney Powell put it very nicely (and very correctly), fraud vitiates the gains obtained by it.

So who knows. It should matter, but we're in uncharted territory if any of that goes forward.

That's why that stuff that's been floating around about "Quo Warranto" is interesting. Technically, the benefits of the fraud weren't actually realized until yesterday.

I don't have high expectations, but it's worth fighting out - not just for future election integrity, but also to get history right.

  6. It was a very nice tax cut, however.

Not indifference. Corruption. They sold out, for whatever reason.

    Don't be polite.

And since the Demos can email Peking for a million ballots, I doubt primarying them is going to work. Like running Lefties as Conservatives in R primaries to undercut the real Conservative, the Demos need to be taught the error of their ways.

How this is fixed without a fight, I can't see.

    YMMV

  7. Talk about throwing out the baby with the bathwater! There are a handful of incumbents worth preserving. I'd hate to see Devin Nunes lose for he knows a great deal about the crimes of the deep state. Probably more than anyone else. I saw a fantastic documentary about this.

There is a Freedom Caucus in the House but I doubt if all of them are genuine. The voters will decide.

And no party can be cleansed in one election. But you sure can scare the crap out of them all. And I'm all for that.

Its gonna be another roaring twenties but not like the kind a century ago.

  8. Sure DON, we can "vote" and try to toss them out. But realistically, who among us would really have any confidence the same voting machines/rigging of democrat states wouldn't happen exactly as it did Nov 3? What a joke that anyone can take future elections seriously anymore without major fixes. Ain't gonna happen.

    1. What he said! Didn't one of the court cases over election fraud get thrown out because the plaintiffs didn't show they'd been damaged? A majority of Americans no longer have any expectations of fair and honest elections going forward. But nope, that's not damage.

  9. The votes in several states counted. The corruption and fraud voting officials are well established in about a dozen states. They may well rig the presidential elections via the electoral college, but that does not mean local, state, and congressional and senate campaigns are rigged as well.

  10. Don, I agree with your approach to primary and then stay at home on the general election if the traitorous Republicans make to the general election. However, I am planning to actually vote for the democrat challenger if the RINO makes it to the general election. That's how white hot anger I am at the establishment Republicans. I'd rather see a leftist in office for one cycle then a traitorous Republican. One cycle of voting like this will fix the party and simultaneously fix their wagons. If the choice is Cornwallis or Benedict Arnold, I'm voting against Benedict even if it elevates Cornwallis in the short term.

  11. OK troops. You have two years to implement changes in your state's electoral systems. My first questions at the local party township meeting:
    1) What are you going to do to increase the integrity of the electoral process?
    2) What are you going to do to convince people that the system has improved.
Because what the Slavers have done is 1) corrupt the system and 2) show the world how corrupt the system is so why bother voting, which many commenters here have embraced, much to the Slavers' delight.

The baby in the bathwater you risk when trying to throw out the Imperial City Swamp RINOs is the state politicians. If you let your state go like CA and MA, with hardcore leftist legislatures, you will regret your lack of foresight.

Save your state. Fix your state. Fix the other states until the US electoral system is no longer the laughing stock of the 3rd World.

P.S. Cheney will win the primary because the opposition vote will be divided. The Swamp will run straw candidates to further divide it. Pressure has to be applied to get down to one real opponent in the primary if anything is to be achieved. The Dippies will actively lie about the opponent. Prepare accordingly.

  12. I’m onboard with the plan. I hope my representative and two senators are primaried.

Last time that happened, the democrats teamed up with the swamp republicans and dragged Thad Cochrane over the finish line in a primary runoff. Cochrane was further along in his dementia than Xiden is.

  13. I'm guessing that the same Republicans will also stand back as the officials come to get all of us to make good their threats of re-education and deprogramming. You should listen to how many politicians and Media are suggesting that now. Republican officials won't help us... but the disgusting thing is Mitch and his kind will make sure to ask us for generous donations to Republican campaigns and votes for 2022

    ReplyDelete
  14. I like the plan, although there are 30 or 40 patriots that actually should be left alone. They're the ones that stood by Trump through it all. Leaving them alone also shows the ones that we are being primaried that they can avoid it next time (use both the carrot and the stick, its more effective).
In addition, this needs to be done at the LOCAL AND STATE LEVELS AS WELL. We saw that there are large numbers of repulicrats holding office in state legislatures as well....SERVE THEM NOTICE TOO.

  15. We've got this. This is already the plan. But not to put fear in them but to get rid of them. Finally we have had enough.

  16. Don, it's worse. if I read the GA consent decree accurately the Republicans conspired to help Biden win.

  17. I am going much farther than that! I have removed my republican registration already as I never intended to vote again and there was no reason to risk being called for jury duty. Then I started thinking... why take one vote away from the GOP when I can take two! Just before the primaries in 2022 I am going to register as a democrat and vote a straight democrat ticket from that point forward. Before you call me a traitor, please let me tell you my reasoning behind it.

Number one, the plan laid out in this article is doomed to failure. Do you honestly think your vote matters? Do you really think there will ever be another fair election in this country? You are beyond naïve if you do. They just stole an election in broad daylight and flipped you off while doing it. Nobody is going to fix it, the courts and every branch of gov, every agency is controlled by the deep state. There will never be anyone elected that the deep state does not want elected for the rest of your lives. Additionally, do you think the dems are the only ones who have been cheating for years now? Somehow, with an 18% approval rating in his home state, McConnell manages to cream his opponent in every primary and every general. You aren't going to get anyone elected no matter what you do, quit fooling yourselves.

I have other reasons. I am 59 and I'm going to retire early now. I am not rich but I can retire comfortably and I have everything I need. I have no kids and I don't give a flying F about any of the kids who are going to have to live through the misery most of them have been voting for. I want them to feel the pain, Venezuelan style. None of them, not even the poor ones have ever seen real hardship and they will suffer greatly. Me and mine will be fine, we have a safe place to go to when things start getting really bad.

Finally, I am hoping we get a civil war out of the deal sooner or later. I may not be the opponent I was 30 years ago but I have been training for forty years and have the wisdom of experience. To be blunt, I want their blood and lots of it.

  19. Do NOT vote incumbent or anyone that resembles that uniparty agenda. Stay home. Things have changed for the worser. There is no 2 party anything anymore. Time for a new party. In any case, get these foul bastards out of office before it's too late. If it's not too late already.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Disagree with your column. We need a NEW party because the MAGA phenom was republicans + democrats + independents + others. If you stick with a GOP centric strategy then 20% of the Trump coalition disappears. You have been warned!

    ReplyDelete
  21. The only Deep State politicians who will lose their primary are the one's no longer useful to the DS. If they can steal the Presidency, they can steal them all.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Also, get involved in your state and local election process and make sure it is clean. The Republicans commit electoral fraud too. Help national organizations committed to electoral reform as well. How do you think these globalists keep getting elected when they Never Do What The Voters Want them to do?

  25. Mr. Surber has it exactly right. Democrats show party discipline. Despite Maxine Waters acting like an idiot and inciting violence, not one Democrat criticized her publicly. Yet despite Trump working tirelessly for the country, Republicans betrayed him numerous times.
