Highlights of the News

Foxy Lady may return to Fox.

ITEM 1: Hugh Hewitt said, "A Salon story Friday tried to slander Senator Tom Cotton as claiming to be a Ranger when he isn’t a Ranger. Senator Cotton is, in fact, a Ranger.

"Cotton, whom I have interviewed almost weekly since 2012, has often described himself as Ranger, a combat veteran deployed to Iraq with the 101st Division, to Afghanistan with a Provincial Reconstruction Team, and as a former member of The Old Guard at Arlington National Cemetery.

"I’m just a civilian but I know that while almost every member of the 75th Ranger Regiment is a Ranger, not every Ranger has served in the Ranger Regiment. You are a Ranger if you graduate from Ranger School. End of story."

The same clowns who demand we call Jill Biden a doctor when she is not, are denying Cotton an honor he earned.

ITEM 2: Just the News reported, "Larry Kudlow is going to host a weekday television program on the Fox Business Network.

"In addition to being signed by Fox News Media to do a television show, Kudlow, who during a portion of the Trump administration served as Director of the National Economic Council, has also been signed as a contributor."

The Hill reported, "Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany in financial disclosure documents published Tuesday indicated that she had an agreement in place to join Fox News this month, but a source familiar with the matter says those discussions are now paused."

Liberals are screaming foul because of ethics.

Clinton's press secretary is the morning anchor on ABC.

Fox should tell its critics to take a hike.

ITEM 3: We Love Trump reported, "Twitter Announces A New Way To Censor Conservatives.

"The company announced that it is starting a new 'watchdog' group to combat 'misinformation' on its popular social media platform."

In the 1960s, Kraft bragged about its Kraft Kitchens where they developed new recipes for Velveeta.

Now we have Twitter Tower, which develops new ways to censor the truth.

ITEM 4: Bloomberg reported, "Rupert Murdoch, the billionaire mogul behind Fox News, took issue with the silencing of debate on social media, saying censorship had hobbled discourse with 'awful woke orthodoxy.'

"Murdoch, 89, made the rare public remarks during a brief video to accept a lifetime achievement award from the Australia Day Foundation. The clip was posted online by the Herald Sun, owned by the media mogul’s News Corp."

He said, "For those of us in media, there is a real challenge to confront. A wave of censorship that seeks to silence conversation, to stifle debate and ultimately stop individuals and societies from realizing their potential."

What is so challenging?

Tell the truth, and stand up to censors.

ITEM 6: Ace reported, "Pat Leahy Presides Over First Step in Trump's Impeachment, Then Is Rushed to the Hospital."

Say a prayer for Leahy because even the most despicable people on Earth are worthy of God's love.

He was examined and later released.

ITEM 7: Trending Politics reported, "According to author, editor, writer, communications expert and former White House Press Office stenographer Mike McCormick, Biden’s mental capacity is down by 50%.

"The comments from McCormick came during an interview with Steve Bannon on War Room Pandemic."

It's elder abuse.

And face it, this is common in Washington. Strom Thurmond, Bob Byrd, Daniel Inouye, Ted Kennedy, and Ruth Ginsburg all died in office long after they should have retired. They hung on while their staff did the work. It is pathetic and a sign of the decline of a great nation.

ITEM 8: Leah Barkoukis reported, "Former Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell believes that the person calling the shots in the White House is not the president or vice president, but rather, Susan Rice."

Well, Rice surely meets all the Democrat qualifications for the job. She is proficient in lying, corrupt and willing to spy on opponents.

ITEM 9NPR reported, "Last year, an alarming increase in homicides left communities — often in lockdown — reeling as officials searched for answers. That was evident at lots of news conferences as police officials and mayors in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York City rolled out dire news.

"At the end of 2020, Chicago police reported more than 750 murders, a jump of more than 50% compared with 2019. By mid-December, Los Angeles saw a 30% increase over the previous year with 322 homicides. There were 437 homicides in New York City by Dec. 20, nearly 40% more than the previous year."

Not mentioned in the story were the BLM/Antifa riots which blew the lid off efforts to contain crime.

Just blame covid 19 because the truth can get you blackballed in the media..

ITEM 10: The New York Post reported, "Thanks 2020: Fatal shark attacks peaked last year, deadliest since 2013."

And the number of people killed by sharks last year was (drumroll, please):

That's worldwide.

ITEM 11: National Review reported, "A federal judge in Texas has blocked President Biden’s executive order halting deportations of some illegal immigrants.

Biden signed the order halting deportations for 100 days on January 20, several hours after his inauguration, as part of a blitz of executive orders aimed at undoing Trump administration policies. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton subsequently sued the Biden administration to reverse the order, citing an agreement between the Department of Homeland Security and Texas requiring the state’s approval to halt deportations.

Judge Drew Tipton of the Southern District of Texas blocked the implementation of Biden’s order on Tuesday for a period of 14 days. Tipton said that the delay was appropriate according to the Administrative Procedure Act of 1946."

A Trump judge.

Their rules, our turn.

ITEM 12: Ace reported, "Rand Paul Moves to Stop the Sham Impeachment Trial as Unconstitutional, but Five 'Republicans' Defect to the Democrats -- And It's Not the Ones You'd Guess

"Just pulling your leg -- it is exactly the ones you'd guess. Mitt Romney, Ben Sasse, the Abortion Twins, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski, and liberal Pat Toomey.

"Ron Paul moved to set aside the impeachment because the Constitution specifies that federal officers can be removed from office via impeachment -- obviously, private citizens cannot be removed from offices they do not hold.

"The National Review Five voted with the Democrats -- as usual -- to table the motion to end the sham."

If the Senate were 51-49, one of them would have flipped Democrat to give their real party the majority.

Kick them out of the caucus already.

ITEM 13: Newsweek reported, "The president of a literary agency based in New York City said Monday on Twitter that one of the agency's employees was terminated after her use of conservative social media sites Parler and Gab was discovered.

"Colleen Oefelein, who identified herself on Twitter as an associate literary agent with the Jennifer De Chiara Literary Agency, appeared to confirm her termination in a tweet on Monday morning."

It's not censorship, they said. Start your own Twitter, they said.

Get a good lawyer, I say.

ITEM 14: Page Six reported, "Actor Elliot Page has filed for divorce from wife Emma Portner, new court records show.

"The 33-year-old Juno star — who recently came out as transgender — filed for a contested divorce Tuesday in Manhattan Supreme Court."

For those of you keeping score at home: 1. Ellen Page came out as a lesbian and married Emma Portner. 2. Ellen Page then became Elliot Page. 3. Elliot Page then divorced his wife.

You know you have made it in Hollywood when your personal life is more entertaining than your movies.

ITEM 15: The Washington Times reported, "The Pentagon is eyeing the possibility of using three sites in Saudi Arabia as key staging areas in the event of war in the Middle East, officials said Tuesday in another sign that the U.S. military expects tensions with Iran to remain high for the foreseeable future.

"U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) officials said they have already conducted test runs at the Yanbu port, including the unloading and shipping of cargo from the facility. The military also is examining King Faisal Air Base in Tabuk and King Fahd Air Base in Taif.

"The Wall Street Journal and Defense News, which have reporters traveling with military officials in the region this week, first reported the Pentagon plan. Officials described it as an ongoing effort that began a year ago, and they said that Saudi Arabia already has paid for some upgrades to the facilities."

Iraq War III.

ITEM 16: The Decider reported, "Meghan McCain is taking Katie Couric to task for suggesting that members of 'the cult of Trump' need to be 'deprogramed' after the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. On Monday morning, The View‘s resident conservative railed against Democrats who have labeled the 74 million Americans who voted for Trump as 'irredeemable,' even as they campaign on a platform of unity. 'If we’re all just deplorable and need to be deprogrammed,' said McCain, 'Then, honestly, they can go to hell!' "

What does she mean by we.

She never voted for Donald Trump.

  1. Successful completion of Ranger school is no small accomplishment. Tom Cotton is owed an apology.

    1. My last pay test was $9500 operating 12 hours per week on line. my sisters buddy has been averaging 15k for months now and she works approximately 20 hours every week. i can not accept as true with how easy it become as soon as i tried it out.

      This is what do,...........

  2. In item #14:
"You know you have made it in Hollywood when your personal life is more entertaining than your movies."

Bravo! You hit it outta the park with that one, Don.

    1. Not a big accomplishment these days since everything they make stinks.

    2. I’m lost. What happened? Sounds like the old joke about the male person comes out as transgender and reassigned to women’s prison. The women were annoyed until that found he was a lesbian.

  3. ITEM 5: Say a prayer for Kellyanne Conway and her dysfunctional family.

The Conway family should GET OFF SOCIAL MEDIA. Obviously for them social media is a toxic arena that can be hacked. (Personally, I think it's quite possible George posted that picture on his wife's twitter.)

    1. Unless and until Claudia Conway experiences real consequences for her actions she will continue to act out. I believe that in NJ it is illegal for a minor to have even partially nude photos of themselves on their phone is illegal, though I doubt very much that the PD will go down that road with her. At this point prayers for Kellyanne are all that can be done until Claudia is removed from the equation.

    2. I think that a family involved in big time politics must be all in and together. George wasn’t and that has led to total family disfunction. He is a pox on their family.

  4. I can’t BELIEVE that the “Washington Football Team” doesn’t have a new name yet. I mean, it’s gotta be SWAMP, right? Come ON, man...

“The Patriots annihilated the Swamp, 42-6.”

“Broncos sink in Swamp, lose by three.”

“Panthers adjust to Swamp, come back to claim 38-30 victory.”

    “Eagles soar over Swamp.”

    1. "“The Patriots annihilated the Swamp, 42-6.”

Hopefully before too long, that will be a news headline and not a sports headline...

The Bee suggested that the Washington football team be renamed the "Washington Lizard People" as being an appropriate designation.

    2. The Washington Reptiles is not alphabetically far from its old name.

    3. How about the Washington Bullets? The basketball team isn't using the name anymore.

    4. As an old R[redacted]s fan, I vote for Swamp.

That's what the land was before Washington DC was built over top of it...

  5. 3 - Twitter is to news as Velveeta is to cheese.

7 - Thad Cochrane won the-election as a near cadaver.

8 - with those qualifications, there are hundreds of democrats and RINOs that meet the standard.

Various - looks like Fox News is trying to win back conservatives. It won’t work.

Kudlow joins many strong conservatives on fox business.

  6. Per the Chicago homicides is 792 for 2020 so far.

And per second city cop it’s probably over 800 as the city is delayed some reports of homicides.

    Interesting npr said over 750.

  7. cross posted at

  8. Good news about Kudlow...a great American

  9. Item 6 - Dems are terrified. Leahy is not aging well at all. A stroke or heart attack putting him out of office opens a Senate seat in a state with a Republican Governor!

    1. Unfortunately, the R? VT governor is a RINO squish - better than the alternatives, but still was loud and proud about who he voted for in the 2020 election (and it wasn't PDJT), got a "D" rating from the NRA, etc., etc.... so if I had to place a bet, I'd expect him to appoint a donk...

VT is also one of numerous states that have long had "gentlemen's agreements" to fill vacant seats with someone from the same party.

  10. Item 15 - Another war brewing in Middle East. More and more people will be missing Donald Trump soon......

  11. Now to undo all the progress in the ME by picking a fight with Iran.(and Russia.)
oh, and screwing over Israel too..

    1. More likely to give Iran another infusion of pallets of cash and run interference for them until they can nuke Israel.

And Chinese aircraft violated Taiwanese airspace at blatant levels last week.

Israel and Taiwan are scr*wed now. Sadly.

    2. Our new secretary of state, Antony Blinken, is the step-son of a Holocaust survivor and has expressed favor toward closer ties with Taiwan. I believe there will be a schism in Democrat ranks over these two issues.

    3. I said in 2008 "Sorry Israel, you're on your own now." So they are again. It does remind me of that famous line from Henry Kissinger: "It's too bad they can't both [Iran and Iraq] lose". Well, maybe they can this time around. Trump's remarkable achievements in the ME aren't going to vanish anytime soon despite all attempts by the fraudulent cabal to do so.

  12. 6&7 - This is an extension of the problem I mentioned yesterday (similar to other spheres, like colleges/universities) where there is a stilting of things due to "permanents" vs. "transients."

These ossified old senators can't be voted out, because they generally come from small, economically-weak states... and they have spent decades building a patronage machine whereby they slosh federal funds into various "businesses" and so make too many people's future employment dependent on THEM personally.

  13. Item 10: I've NEVER heard of a shark attack on a person in a non-coastal state. Just sayin'...

Item 11: Why should I believe anything the NR prints? I stopped reading NR back in 2015 when it went NEVER TRUMP. Can't trust it.

Item 15: Hmmmmmm. How likely is it our government would crap on Saudi Arabia? More than I would expect.

    1. ITEM 10 - The world's most dangerous animals to humans are not sharks, snakes, crocodiles, wolves, lions or tigers. Not even bats. They are mosquitos spreading diseases. Yet we ban DDT over questionable environmental effects while thousands die of malaria and other mosquito-borne diseases.

    2. The Powers That Be obviously realized they could make a lot more profit by treating the sick and dying than from DDT sales. So they bought the bureaucrats they needed to get the ban passed. DDT was truly a blessing for humanity but there just wasn't enough money in it. This sort of crap happens all the time.

  14. Item #1: it's even worse than that. Newsweek previously had a story in 2015 about graduates of Ranger School, in which they were called Rangers; now they went and rewrote the story, in order to now be able to claim that Cotton, who graduated from there, isn't a Ranger.

We literally have 1984 playing out in real life.

  15. This comment has been removed by the author.

  16. I am a retired veteran and graduate of the Airborne and Ranger schools. I wore both Airborne wings and Ranger Tab throughout my career whether or not serving in an Airborne unit (which I did) or the Ranger Regiment (which I did not). Good luck to anyone walking up to me and declaring I wasn't an Airborne Ranger.

    1. Good on ya sir! We NEED more men who lived lives of sex and danger...

  17. 1: Anybody who knows anything about the Rangers since '74 knows there are tabbed Rangers (graduates of Ranger School) and scroll Rangers (members of the Regiment).

As they say, the tab is a school, but the scroll is a way of life.

    3: They're desperate.

6: Persimmon Lips, who never missed a chance to squeal classified info to Fake News (Achille Lauro, anyone?) is scared to death he may face some heat for the first time in 40 years.

No, I don't want him to die, but a little suffering is good for someone like that.

7: No, just the decline of a political party. They have no loyalty except to an agenda and one in which they really don't believe. It's all about the power and the money.

As the say, no such thing as a poor white Liberal.

8: It's not Rice. Like ValJar, she just delivers the orders.

9: It's called stir crazy or cabin fever. Spring is the usual cure, but I think it's prelude to rebellion.

15: Isn't that how bin Laden got his start?

If anybody should be compared to Hitler, it's the lying dogfaced pony soldier. Like Der Fuhrer, he keeps making the same stupid mistakes over and over.

    1. Not exactly. The Regimental patch is an assignment. Not all members of the Regiment have even earned the tab.

  18. PS Donald John Trump is still our president.

    1. You guys keep on dreaming.

Bidet* is illegitimate but he has the keys to the office, so you better start coming up with ways to counter him, not idiotic battle cries that have no force.

    2. Edwina acting like she knows stuff again. SMH.

      Rangers are Rangers. Period.

The Ranger Hall of Fame is not limited to members of the 75th, you dope.

"The selection criteria is as unique as our Ranger history. To be eligible for selection to the Hall of Fame, a person must be deceased or have been separated, or retired from active military service for at least three years at the time of nomination. He must have served in a Ranger unit in combat or be a successful graduate of the U.S. Army Ranger School. A Ranger unit is defined as those Army units recognized in Ranger lineage or history. Achievement or service may be considered for individuals in a position in state or national government after the Ranger has departed the Armed Forces."

Rangers are Rangers. Always have been.

  19. ITEM 6: Ace reported, "Pat Leahy Presides Over First Step in Trump's Impeachment, Then Is Rushed to the Hospital."

Say a prayer for Leahy because even the most despicable people on Earth are worthy of God's love.

  20. "Donald Trump is STILL our President".
    Yes, true dat.

Someone made the point: We should avoid saying Biden* is "not our President".
Because of election fraud, Biden* is "not a President". At all. Period.

  21. Can I pray one of the Psalms for Leahy? God seemed to be ok with David praying for the destruction of his enemies and David was a man after God's own heart.

  22. Say a prayer for Leahy because even the most despicable people on Earth are worthy of God's love.

    Says who? You? Or God?

The boastful shall not stand before your eyes; you hate all evildoers. You destroy those who speak lies; the Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man. (Psalms 5:5–6 ESV)

Clearly Surber hasn't been reading the Bible often enough. But that's been clear for quite a while.

    1. You fundamentalists should search the Impreccatory Psalms. These are chanted by faithful churches in worship calling down God's curse on all the wicked.

Psa 73:17 until I went into your Temple. Then I understood what will happen to the wicked.
Psa 73:18 You will put them in slippery places and make them fall to destruction!
Psa 73:19 They are instantly destroyed; they go down to a horrible end.
Psa 73:20 They are like a dream that goes away in the morning; when you rouse yourself, O Lord, they disappear.

    2. Psa 139:20 They say wicked things about you; they speak evil things against your name.
Psa 139:21 O LORD, how I hate those who hate you! How I despise those who rebel against you!
Psa 139:22 I hate them with a total hatred; I regard them as my enemies.

  23. Fundamentalism is milk toast Christianity. Its doormat theology. Its slave mentality. It refuses to call on the host of Heaven to judge the wicked swiftly. So it remains serfs for the Oligarchy.

It sends its kids to the enemies' schools tithing their minds to the State forever reciting the pledge of allegiance and the Gettysburg address.

It desperately wants Jesus to return NOW. Because Jesus cannot defeat evil from Heaven He can only do that on Earth. Right.

    1. "... are worthy of God's love." Nobody is worthy of God's love! Nobody is worthy of eternal life.

      Its only by grace.

  24. Having herpes is not the end of life there are many treatment to cure herpes infection with the help of Dr salisu herbal product.
