The New York Times reported today that President Donald John Trump is still carrying out his duties as president, even though Biden stole the election.
Imagine that.
The Times reported, "The Trump administration is rushing to approve a final wave of large-scale mining and energy projects on federal lands, encouraged by investors who want to try to ensure the projects move ahead even
The projects, as described by the Times, include:
"In Arizona, the Forest Service is preparing to sign off on the transfer of federal forest land — considered sacred by a neighboring Native American tribe — to allow construction of one of the nation’s largest copper mines.
"In Utah, the Interior Department may grant final approval as soon as next week to a team of energy speculators targeting a remote spot inside an iconic national wilderness area — where new energy leasing is currently banned — so they can start drilling into what they believe is a huge underground supply of helium.
"In northern Nevada, the department is close to granting final approval to construct a sprawling open-pit lithium mine on federal land that sits above a prehistoric volcano site.
"And in the East, the Forest Service intends to take a key step next month toward allowing a natural gas pipeline to be built through the Jefferson National Forest in Virginia and West Virginia, at one point running underneath the Appalachian Trail."

The big objection by the Times is that President Trump appointed people with expertise instead ideology to make the rules.
The Times said, "Mr. Trump chose former industry executives to run major federal agencies like the Environmental Protection Agency and the Interior Department, and industry executives and lobbyists who cycled in and out of government positions were granted substantial influence in setting regulations."
That is like objecting to having academics in the Department of Education or having doctors serve on the FDA.
That President Trump's policies will last beyond his presidency is normal.
Indeed, the Supreme Court held that Obama's executive order creating DACA is the law of the land. Who needs Congress?
The Trump administration is following the law and the science.
Richard Packer, spokesman for the Interior Department, said, "Our science-based decisions are legally compliant and based on an extensive process involving input from career subject matter experts and the public."
The story said, "The administration has been seeking to promote more mining of key minerals, including uranium, copper and lithium, to allow the United States to be less dependent on imports."
And that is really what is behind the Fake Environmentalism movement. The Times and other fellow travelers do not care about the planet. They just want the USA to fail.
If mining metals really were so bad for the environment, why not push for alternative to metals such as plastic? Plastic comes from oil and natural gas. Instead the Times and the rest want to ban plastic as well as oil and natural gas.
Having stolen the 2020 election (or so they think) the Times wants to overturn the 2016 election by forcing Donald Trump to stop doing his job as president before his first term ends.
It's kind of like when one gives a two week notice before moving on to a new job. You don't get paid just for resting on your laurels during that time...you still have to produce work.

DeleteI believe her not being part of the Trump legal team allowed her to bring out the most salacious part of the fraud, which in turn helps Trump's information war. And also, to flood the courts with lawsuits, of which she had done a fine job of.
I agree that she will be brought in to serve in some capacity by Trump. What that is, I don't know. But as you stated Snow, she has the goods on a lot of the devils in our government. And she was a federal prosecutor. So, she knows the ins and outs. Will be interesting to see what happens.
And of course, it must be acknowledged, that she and Flynn are close. He too, will most likely serve in Trump's second administration. Could not think of two better patriots to have in Trump's administration. And Flynn stated (paraphrasing here) that on a scale of 1-10, that it is 10 that Trump will be sworn in as POTUS on Jan. 20 2021.
