Michelle Obama mocks $600 stimulus checks

As Congress uses $600 stimulus checks to front a $900 billion Christmas Tree of kickback-prone political spending, an unexpected critic of the paltry size of those checks for Americans has emerged.

Michelle Obama said, "You’re getting $600. What can you do with that? Not to be ungrateful or anything, but maybe it pays down a bill, but it doesn’t pay down every bill every month. The short-term quick fix kinda stuff sounds good, and it may even feel good when you get that check, and then you go out and you buy a pair of earrings."

Missus Obama said this about the Bush stimulus in 2008. Her husband then failed to vote for or against the stimulus, which passed in the Senate 81-16

But Mrs. Obama is correct. If you are going to stimulate the economy, go big or go home.

The bill will spend $7,329 per household but give each of the 122.8 million households in America a paltry $600.

We are borrowing another $7,329 to get only $600.

That's less than two bucks a day for the year 2020.

President Donald John Trump told Congress to do better.

He said, "Throughout the summer, Democrats cruelly blocked covid relief legislation in an effort to advance their extreme left wing agenda and influence the election. Then a few months ago, Congress started negotiations on a new package to get urgently needed help to the American people. It’s taken forever. However, the bill they are now planning to send back to my desk is much different than anticipated. It really is a disgrace."

He went through all the wasteful and sleazy spending in this 5,000-plus pages of corruption Congress wants him to sign.

He also said, "The bill also allows stimulus checks for the family members of illegal aliens, allowing them to get up to $1,800 each. This is far more than the Americans are given. Despite all of this wasteful spending and much more, the $900 billion package provides hardworking taxpayers with only $600 each in relief payments and not enough money is given to small businesses."

Illegals get three times as much as real Americans?

Just call me DACA Don.

President Trump also said, "I am asking Congress to amend this bill and increase the ridiculously low $600 to $2,000 or $4,000 for a couple. I’m also asking Congress to immediately get rid of the wasteful and unnecessary items from this legislation and to send me a suitable bill."

Newsweek reported AOC and the Squad agree with President Trump on the $2,000 stimulus.

That would mean $250 billion out of $900 billion would go to us peasants.

In 2008, Missus Obama said $600 wasn't enough.

12 years later, that $600 is worth only $486.68.

Either do $2,000 or do nothing.

    3. Cucks for sure they are as fanatical as the AOC crowd.

Trump should start his own media empire which would do more for the country than being a President that Congress fights tooth and nail.

  3. I hope Trump gains traction next month in Congress as he contests the election outcome. This Covid Stimulus bill indicates that the DC swamp is boiling, reconstituting itself and its primordial ooze.

    3. That ooze was the end of the D.C. truncated Mesozoic--- Triassic Period. The powerful Jurassic began when the President T[-rump] Rex arrived the last four years, and has been devouring the swamp denizens at a voracious rate. He has utterly stomped out the "lame-duck" moniker, and only grown more mighty. ZB

  5. $600 doesn't by sheet when you live in a multi-milliom dollar mansion on Martha's Vinyard. She should just STFU. She and Barry ran their scam on Americans. Now, go away.

  6. Read carefully. She said this in 2008 about a Bush stimulus.

  9. What I find amusing is the thought Don has that Congress is going to cut any of the wasteful spending.

Congress may increase the amount of money returned to Americans from $600 to a more “reasonable” compromise amount, such as $1,200, because of (duh) “deficits.”

But, if you think Congress is going to cut any of its wasteful spending I got a bridge to sell you at a great price, numnuts. The whores we call our Representatives and Senators in Congress use that money to make deals which line their pockets, and they are NOT going to cut it.

Oh, and those “deficits” these whores care about when sending money from Washington back to the American People means nothing to them when it comes to their wasteful spending.

All it means to them is another day or two of the Federal Reserve figuratively printing mucho dinero.

Don’t fool yourself or your readers Don, Congress may increase the amount of payments to Americans (but they won’t cut the amount given to illegal aliens; and other anti-American wasteful spending) and President Trump will sign the bill and claim victory.

If Bernie Bros didn’t have their heads up their posteriors so high they can’t think straight because of the noxious fumes; this would serve as another example along so many obvious others where President Trump has done battle with the DC Swamp to get a better deal for average working Americans. Meanwhile, these tools remain sold on Bernie’s Socialist Revolution BS.

    2. Hey Edwina, go f--k yourself. Try arguing the points she made or STFU, tard. You're second only to your leg-humper Obtuse Olson in banality.

"Congress may increase the amount of payments to Americans (but they won’t cut the amount given to illegal aliens; and other anti-American wasteful spending) and President Trump will sign the bill and claim victory."

Exactly right, Susie. Trump said after the shutdown he would NEVER AGAIN sign such a monstrous spending bill, yet he has never been shy with his pen when they send him one to sign.

Oh, and then, you give me a shoutout. When I've not mentioned you since the last time your posting was exposed for the idiocy they usually are. Obsessed much jakee?

    1. Yep Lady, that's one way Trump can handle this.

    2. pocket veto - The Constitution grants the president 10 days to review a measure passed by the Congress. If the president has not signed the bill after 10 days, it becomes law without his signature. However, if Congress adjourns during the 10-day period, the bill does not become law.

      --

      Have they adjourned?

    3. The fact that you replied you troll jakee shows that this is what you fear. Thanks for the verification. He never said he would veto it did he? he just wanted a better bill. The clock starts ticking for 10 days when it hits his desk. I don’t think they put anything in front of him to sign or not sign it have they jakee? Yep... pocket veto.

    4. Hey, jakee! Here’s sumptin from Slate today, you know, one of your LSM buddies...

“... The problem is that it appears Trump could kill the legislation through a so-called pocket veto, which cannot be overturned, simply by choosing not to sign it before Congress ends its term in January. The next House and Senate would have to start over with a new bill, which could be a lengthy process.”

May I suggest you reply with cuss words in all-caps please to sway me to your reasoning?

  11. I'm all in for doing nothing. Quit forcing us into deeper debt.
If Congress gave a rat's ass about us they would outlaw the lockdowns that are destroying this country. Nope, they want to send our jobs to China and India.

  12. OMG, the NYT's headline says it all about the lying leftist media:

"New Signs of Economic Distress Emerge as Trump Imperils Aid Deal"

Yeah! That's the ticket! Trump screwed those poor people, who's governors shut their businesses down, and now need money. And then, his veto magically created new signs of economic stress. Bad Trump! Orange man bad!

Never mind the bill was full of pork for CONgress' contributors and foreign aid (resulting in kickbacks for CONgress), leaving little left for the ones who were really hurt by the Coof shutdowns.

Did China tell them to print that headline?
