What's up with Parler?

All the other conservatives get hassled by Twitter. Not me. Twitter doesn't seem to care what I post. Instead, Parler hassles me. I cannot link post to my blog on Parler.

I must be doing something wrong. I tried to contact them. It seems impossible. Oh well, I have 99 problems and Parler ain't one.

UPDATE: I am not new to Parler. I joined in May 2019. I posted my links as recently as July when I stopped because the effort was not worth the result. I am not alone. They need to fix it.

UPDATE 2: Crisis is over. Posts now post on Parler. My handle is @DonSurber.

All is right with the world. Good night.

  2. Fran Poreeto at Liberty's Torch also said he was censored on Parler.

    I guess Gab it is.

  3. I'm on Parler and Gab.
Nothing wrong with Parler, but it's clear that Gab is more sympatico with my outlook.

Gab bans illegal speech, otherwise lets it flow. If you don't like what someone is saying don't follow them and scroll on by. Gab has (a? some?) Christian founder(s?)

Gab is so subversive that both Google and Apple refuse to allow them to have a phone app. You can only access Gab from your laptop via a browser to Gab.com
    That's a vibe I can relate to.

    1. I tried to post Don's website address on Parler. I got an error "URL has been restricted" and it did not post.
Most like, some Lefties have reported that Don is bad and his URL has been put into detention. I don't know who to contact to clear Don. But it's clearly a false take-down.
Seriously doubt, as in I'd bet cash money, this would NEVER happen on Gab.

    2. Parler won't even accept my registration. When I duck ducked to try and find out why, a bunch anti Parler articles popped up so I guess I don't need to be there. Maybe I'll check Gab out.

  4. I have a shot fuse, but found Parlor was not worth the effort to register.

  5. I think there's such an exodus from Twitter to Parlor that they are experiencing 'growing pains'

  6. Just got registered on parler but it is a lot like twitta. Too time consuming. Its just everyone is fed up with faceboob and tweety. I am praying Mr T will prevail and we reign these guys in. They afraid he will on both counts. Just like Teddy Roosevelt did with JD Rockefeller and Standard Oil

  7. I just bookmark websites/blogs I like. Fire up the browser, engage the adblocker, drill the VPN, come in from Romania.....Just go down the list every day.

If the site starts to 'go wobbly on me' it gets moved down/off the list. Kind of like the method I used on that website aggregator...Drunge....

  8. Dan Bongino is a part owner of Parler and he mentioned growing pains. You can send direct message to him on Parler or Twitter and he will look into the problems. I love he uses Twitter to grow his Parler user base.
We want you there too, Don!

  9. I deleted my Twitter account and created a Parler account a while back. I really don't get how Parler works. But I never did much on Twitter either, so no big loss.

  10. Parler stopped taking any links to my site too. I think it is a teething issue so they are restricting some postings. Not censorship as much as growing pains. I tried to contact Dan Bongino too (no success, but I suppose it is good to know I am not the only one).

  11. They don't have the bandwidth to handle Don Surber!

  12. Pretty sure you need to identify yourself on Parler via the "verification" process. Submit pic of ID and pic of self. Then you can post anything once you're a non-anonymous poerson.

    1. Thanks
I have been on Parler since May 28, 2019.
I had not posted a link to the blog for months. Just checked and I had no problem in July (or before)
I stopped linking there because it was not worth the effort
      I try again, bam

  13. It is just huge growing pains. They were swamped last week.
    Just hang tight.

  14. “Well, there’s your trouble, Mr Surber. Exceed the speed of light and time starts running backwards. You keep undoing your links. Lemme just put your ride in cripple mode ... that should bring it down to 185,000 miles per second or so.

  15. That's interesting. I post your articles to Parler often and never have a problem. So maybe they just don't like you personally???

  16. Can’t help you on this one, brother. Never joined Fakebook, quit Twitter in 2016. Hell, I’ve posted more than enough scheise on this site to warrant a summons from The Truth Commission.

  17. Likewise...it wasn’t worth the effort.

  18. If you are interested in Gab but are put off because both Apple and Google refuse to allow them to provide a phone app, then follow the instructions here to create an icon on your phone which you can use to access Gab.

I just learned about this today.

  19. I used to be able to post your links until today. This sounds like a teething issue that's happening as they are growing by leaps and bounds. I will try again, as before today I was able to link regularly.

  20. I don't have a twitter account but I am able to see the tweet pages on my phone or desktop. With Parler, you need to be a member to see anything. If they don't change, they won't succeed and the conservatives moving there they would end up talking to themselves.

  21. I was able to post your article with no problem. They are experiencing a lot of growing pains. Last night I couldn't get it to work for a couple of hours.

I hope you stay there and continue to post.

  22. Bongino said on his radio show they've had some glitches over the weekend. He profusely apologized. Perhaps it is not just you.

  23. I just posted your column on Mrs Obama on Parler with no problems.

  25. Deleted my Twitter account. I recommend everyone else do the same. Never go back.

The blatant censorship crossed far into election interference.

Parler has gained some 5 million new accounts just since the election. Preference cascade. Make it the place to be, and punish Twitter for their actions.
