Republican traitors

Carl Bernstein said 21 Republican senators privately don't like President Donald John Trump. I don't know if the list is true but I do know Republican senators allowed Obama and company to use the government against its people without protest.

Bernstein drew fame by being a Deep State tool in reporting on Watergate, a quaint scandal about an attempt to spy on a political campaign using your own campaign. Amateur. Nixon should have used the FBI like Obama did.

Bernstein is still a useful idiot, most recently promoting the Russian Collusion conspiracy theory, which held that Putin won the 2016 election for Donald Trump and blackmailed him for hiring hookers to pee in a bed the Obamas had slept in.

The deep state has people with weird sex hangups.

The idea that you could blackmail Donald Trump is comical. When we elected him, we knew he had a medical school's supply of skeletons in his closet. We don't care.

Bernstein hates Republicans. I am not sure why. Maybe he seeks acceptance in DC society. His colleague Bob Woodward drew the bigger fame and fortune by being taller and better looking.

The Daily Mail reported, "Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein has called out 21 Republican senators who he says have expressed 'extreme contempt' for President Trump in private - but have refused to air their grievances in public.

"Bernstein accused the senators - including the likes of Mitt Romney, Marco Rubio, Chuck Grassley and Susan Collins - of a 'craven silence' that has 'enabled Trump's most grievous conduct'.

"That includes 'undermining and discrediting the US electoral system' Bernstein said, taking aim at Trump's refusal to concede to Joe Biden while claiming 'massive fraud' -- a claim that his legal team has failed to substantiate in court.

"'Many if not most of these individuals, from what I have been told, were happy to see Donald Trump defeated in this election as long as the Senate could be controlled by the Republicans,' Bernstein said during an appearance on CNN."

His language belies the fascist intent of the deep state he represents.

The plan calls for victor's justice by punishing any and all who supported President Trump. The self-righteous anger of cretins like Bernstein is spiced with words such as complicit. After 4 years of telling themselves that the president is worse than Hitler, they have convinced themselves that he is Hitler, and therefore all his supporters should be eliminated.

Satan chortles.

Maybe Bernstein made up his list but one thing is for sure, the craven silence he mentioned is not about President Trump's imperfections, but by their inability and unwillingness to treat Spygate as the very threat to our constitutional republic that it is.

They also refused to punish Hunter Biden for accepting a billion dollar bribe from Red China on his father's behalf. His father flew with him to Beijing in Air Force Two to pick up the bribe.

Ukraine has turned into an ATM for the children and stepchildren of Pelosi, Kerry, Biden, and others. The press knows and ignores this, instead lending credence to the conspiracy theory that renting a room at Trump International Hotel is an emolument.

The press could not care less about its credibility.

It serves its master.

And its master serves Red China.

Republicans are even worse. We elected them to kill Obamacare. Once in office, they didn't.

We elected them to fund construction of the wall. They didn't.

President Trump delivered the cutting of red tape, the cutting of taxes, moving the embassy to Jerusalem, and a dozen other things Republicans said they wanted.

His reward?

21 knives in the back.

His biggest crime was standing for the people and standing up to a fascist government.

Christopher Caldwell wrote, "Trump didn’t sell out his supporters. In fact, his presidency saw something extraordinary, even if it was all but invisible from the country’s globalized cities: the first egalitarian boom since well back into the twentieth century. In 2019, the last non-Covid year, he presided over an average 3.7% unemployment rate and 4.7% wage growth among the lowest quartile of earners. All income brackets increased their take. That had happened in the last three Obama years, too. The difference is that in the Obama part of the boom the income of the top decile rose by 20 percent, with tiny gains for other groups. In the Trump economy, the distribution was different. Net worth of the top 10% rose only marginally, while that of all other groups vaulted ahead. In 2019, the share of overall earnings going to the bottom 90% of earners rose for the first time in a decade."

In 2020, the RINOs and the Democrats undid all that with covid 19 killing most small businesses. Those that remained then faced months of riots and looting.

Now that they have aided and abetted in stealing the 2020 election, these traitors demand Georgians elect Republican senators in January/

Why?

What good has a Republican majority done the last six years besides the judgeships?

Under a Democrat president, a Senate majority would mean 51 Republicans could rake in nice bribes to roll over for Democrats. They failed to stop the Iran deal which funded terrorism in Israel and corruption in the United States.

Under a Republican president, they did everything they could to thwart him.

I doubt that Republican senators talk to Bernstein, or at least trust him enough to diss President Trump in front of him. Maybe the FBI gave him transcripts of their spying on senators and the president. Why would they not? They got away with Spygate.

And Republicans helped.

    1. Bernstein is no saint and never was. In the mid-1980s, while his wife Nora Ephron was pregnant with their second child, he was sleeping with Margaret Jay, the wife of Peter Jay, former British ambassador to the United States. When she found out she left him. The rumors were he was sleeping around the entire time he was married to Ephron. What f-n hypocrites these Trump haters are.

    2. The topic at hand is political corruption, electoral deceit, our elected's briberies, a formidable attack on the U.S. nation & its electorate, and disenfranchising U.S. citizens via an Venezuela-type socialist/facist - not to mention illegal - attempted takeover. Altho' infidelity may be important, such an act is exponentially dwarfed by the topic of this article. A responsible Kitty should be wary of introducing Red Herrings.

  2. Bravo. I dont live in Georgia but if I did I would find it very difficult to muster up the energy to stand in line to vote for two Republicans that can't obviously be bothered to support the President during this time of national crisis. I for certain will not be sending any money to these senatorial candidates knowing that the Dems are going to steal the elections anyway while the Republicans sit on their hands. I guess as long as the Dems steal it fair and square we cant complain.

    1. If I were in GA, I would still give it the old college try and vote one last time for the two RINOs. Then I'll never vote until a true conservative party emerges from the death of the Republican Party (should Bidet win).

    2. We are at the point where everybody finally discovers that the emperor really has no clothes at all, and the people here are still discussing the emperor's exquisite tailor-made attire.

It seems that the people commenting here are still trying to come to terms with the fact that their votes really don't matter. You know it's bad when Russia's elections are more honest than ours.

Trump did everything possible to get re-elected. Everything. He increased his voting base. He increased the minority votes to the levels all the experts said would guarantee re-election. Trump got the most votes in the history of the country for any GOP candidate. There is nothing more under the sun Trump could have done to achieve victory, and they're so blatantly in your face about stealing the election too. They just don't care what you think. You are nothing to them, an insect, a nuisance, an inconvenience. There is not a single thing you can possibly do to win at their rigged game. Nothing.

How are you expecting to work with people like that?

People are still in a drunken stupor, thinking that nothing much is going to change or differ from before. Wait until they see what "fundamental change" really means. The Paris Accord alone is going to turn all Americans into China's beasts of burden, slaves, for generations to come.

Welp, pain is a really great teacher, and there are going to be lots of new students.

God has turned his back on America. And I for one have absolutely no interest in lining the pockets of the corrupt GOP. The faster the GOP is destroyed, the sooner we can start to put together a viable party with some real backbone, but the journey is going to be painful, for sure.

    3. God has not turned His back on America. He is the one who is bringing about the downfall of the Democratic Party and raising up Trump and the Patriots. You watch, Trump will be the 46th President of the United States. This is not a time for fear and pessimism. It is a time to pray and fight.

  3. The GOPe hate Trump more than the Democrats for drawing back the curtain on this elitist scam in which they all have knowledge if they’re not actually complicit. At the least, Obama et al have detailed spy files on every opponent, and now with NSA complicity, the ability to gather real-time data on anyone.

“Monkey Boy” Bernstein may just be blowing smoke as usual but I don’t think so this time.

  4. Absolutely a done deal that no further elections, starting in 2022 for congress will ever be fair or honest again. Dems have learned how to steal millions of votes right in your face, relying on bought out GOP governors and sec of state election boss like those in GA for example, to just stand aside and nullify honest votes by the people. Its over gang....once they finish stealing this obvious victory from trump call it a day. Served 21 yrs in submarines to live long enough to see this but what hurts the most, is the spineless "repubs" that keep telling us to "get over it" and move on. I'm done.

    1. I hate to intone that even when he won fair and square in 2016, PDJT got screwed by the Republicans. Are everyone's collective memories so short as Mr. Surber pointed out, that four four election cycles '10, '12, '14, '16 (Congress/ Senate races) that the Republicans swore that if we voted them in majority Obamacare would be repealed?! The Senate race in Georgia doesn't matter. The Republican majority or minority will at the same sniveling way before Our President won in '16, and will act the same after him. Count on it...Don't waste your $$ on another Republican cause or candidate. Send to the cases directly: ex. Sidney Powell. I will vote candidates from the new Trump Party, never again those Whig Pubbies. ZB

  5. What happens when people in this country cone to believe that the only way to remove people from office is by dragging their carcasses out the door. If we can't vote them out due to rigged elections, that remains the only viable option. Both Democrats and Republicans should think about this very carefully before urging concession from Trump.

  9. Not just BHO, Don. Everyone forgets LBJ's use of the FBI to spy on the Goldwater campaign in 1964. This wasn't a wiretap or two; it was a significant operation, involving dozens of agents and spies planted inside the campaign itself. Robert Mardian, who was AAG in Nixon's first term, was flummoxed when J. Edgar Hoover baldly admitted the spying in a conversation they had in 1970. "You do what the President of the United States orders you to do," was Hoover's nonchalant response.

Here's a summary by Reagan biographer Lee Edwards:

  10. And where's nationwide concealed carry for gun owners? How come conservative states like TX and OK have to recognize made-up "rights" like gay marriage and abortion on demand to the day of delivery (and beyond), while the right to keep and bear arms (which is actually written into the Constitution) doesn't have to be recognized if a state chooses not to do so? Needless to say, the GOP has been useless on this.

  11. "enabled Trump's most grievous conduct"

I'd like to see the list. It seems that the list is always assumed. Like that court case a few years back where the judge decided against the Trump Admin position because Trump's tweets proved he had bad intent (the judge did NOT point to a SINGLE tweet that backed up his biased opinion).

Anyway, I recall all the Reagan Dems who gradually dropped off when the Bush family ran for President. I'll be doing the same if GOPe somehow nominates one their own.
I've already unsubscribed from the endless GA fundraising emails.

  12. Ever since republicans conspired with democrats to ensure Thad Cochran won his primary runoff against a tea party republican, I have hated most every republican. There are a few good ones out there. Just a few. Most are horrid. The corruption is disgraceful. If true, Bernstein’s list is not surprising. My two milk toast republican senators weren’t on it, but I wouldn’t want to go into battle with them.

MAGA and four more years to keep draining.

  17. Thank you Don for sharing this information on arbor least 21 Republican Senators who not just backstabbers of President Trump, but of the millions of Americans who support him.

Yes, we all know there are many Republican Stabbers and RINOs, but for the most part, the lower profile ones stay in the shadows and are never called out.

    This needs to change.

I don’t want to start a third party to replace the Republican Party, I want to finish the work started by President Trump and take over control of the Republican Party from the Globalists exemplified by the US Chamber of Commerce.

This fight didn’t end just because President Trump won big in 2016; if life and battles like this were that easy - oh no, the political opponents in the GOP - Never Trumpers, Lincoln Project, eager wannabe leaders of the RINOs like Marco and Nikki didn’t leave the field of battle.

They need to be identified, called out, and defeated in primary elections, as often as possible.

  20. Demonizing Republicans is pointless. The globalist Republicans and the globalist Democrats are in bed and have been for 50 years. So what. The rise of populism on both left and right is destroying the establishment Reps and Dems. This is the true power of the Trump movement. The establishment Dems and Reps are rapidly going into the dustbin of history because voters are weary of their failed policies. Populists on left and right are the true voices of the people now. So forget about senators or congressmen who hate Trump. They are becoming more and more irrelevant. Politically, they are the walking dead.

One might be tempted to recall that the FBI revealed that Watergate was really about finding child porn and child sex trafficking data on the DNC that Nixon was going to reveal... wasn't it nice of the boys to never tell the public of the perverted predilections of the DNC's boys? Just a bunch of useless finger exercisers.

  22. I just read an incredible post by Thomas Lifson over at American Thinker defending Tucker. My point is that a large majority of republicans didn't learn anything from the past 5 years. The GOP is rotten. The republican media have screwed the pooch for the past 20 years, especially Limbaugh.
We can't save the republic until the GOP is gone.

  24. Before anyone passes judgment on the allegations made by Bernstein, here is some maybe not so coincidental information about these senators in question. Of the 21 senators that Bernstein alleges holds Trump in extreme contempt, 13 of them will be up for reelection in the next mid-term elections in 2022. So, the question is, is Bernstein telling the truth about these senators, or is he laying the groundwork for a smear campaign against them to drive their supporters away?
