Radio host Bill Mitchell parlayed, "I thought Joe Biden was supposed to win in a landslide? Why is his campaign manager talking about the fact they 'still have paths the 270'?"
Mitchell referred to briefings to reporters -- talking points -- instructions to the flying monkeys -- on the election.
Whereas President Donald John Trump ended his campaign upbeat and laughing at a rally in Grand Rapids, the Biden campaign spent Monday telling reporters Who Needs Florida?
CBS reported, "Biden campaign outlines paths to victory on Election Day."
The story said, "Biden's top campaign officials held a briefing to detail their expectations for election night, outlining Biden's paths to victory and denouncing reports that the president might prematurely declare victory while millions of votes remain to be counted."
Campaign manager Jen O'Malley Dillon told the press, "We can get to 270 without Florida, which is a significant advantage."
Well, if they can win without Florida, why did they spend all that time, money and effort in Florida? They should have gone to Texas.
Oh wait. They tried that.
We got a little convoy....
Today, the Biden campaign told reporters they don't need Florida and Pennsylvania.
Charlotte Alter of Time tweeted, "Biden campaign manager Jen O'Malley Dillon: 'We continue to have multiple pathways to 270 electoral votes' says they can win 270 even without PA and FL."
This raises a question, if Biden did not need Pennsylvania, why do half his campaigning there? Especially when he campaigned only half as much as Half-Hearted Hillary.
But Dillon said, "Trump has such a harder hill to climb today to overcome the advantage we came in with."
Hillary's camp said the same thing on Election Day 2016.
Jim Hoft wrote that Biden tried to rally in Scranton this morning. The hall was empty.
But who needs Pennsylvania when you have Texas?
