Surely Democrats knew that President Donald John Trump was not playing around. And now he has delivered the Mother of All October Surprises.
His opponent's 50-year-old son collected bribes for his father, snorted cocaine, and abused underage girls provided by Red China.
Democrats have known about this since last fall because a computer repairman handed the FBI a laptop filled with incriminating evidence. Whatever the FBI knows, the Democrat Party knows because the FBI works for the Democrat Party. Americans just pay for it.
Despite all this, Democrats nominated Biden.
No, it is worse than that. Democrats scraped him off the shoes of Buttigieg and Bernie -- who walked all over him in Iowa and New Hampshire -- and resurrected him as the great white hope for black voters in South Carolina. The party greased palms to get everyone else to drop out, and Biden was their man.
His nomination makes no sense. The Eliot Ness of the '80s has the goods on Biden Incorporated. Hunter Biden will bring the whole party down.
The Daily Mail tried to throw shade on the evidence. It reported, "President Donald Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani promised 'much more to come' from Hunter Biden's laptop.
"Meanwhile, Democrats have already tossed cold water on the New York Post's story that details contents from a laptop allegedly belonging to Democratic nominee Joe Biden's son, which contains messages about Hunter Biden's Ukrainian business deals and photos of the 50-year-old smoking and doing drugs.
"'When evaluating any information provided to anyone by Rudy Giuliani, just remember he’s been parading around with a Russian secret agent for the last year, taking everything he says at face value,' tweeted Sen. Chris Murphy, a Democrat from Connecticut."

And we know Biden owns the laptop because his lawyers have asked for it back, a rather foolish move, but this whole bizarre situation is foolhardy.
Democrats could have gone with the gay mayor or Pocahontas, or even Kamala Harris at the top of the ticket. I get that they wanted to stop Bernie, but why not stop him with Klobuchar the Snow Woman or even Cory "Spartacus" Booker.
Intelligence matters not, as evidenced by the nomination of Basement Biden.
I cannot imagine Democrats deliberately taking a dive on this by nominating him, but he sure seems like a submarine candidate.
Maybe with two weeks left until Election Day, Obama and company believe they can weather this storm.
But a wise captain would have steered clear of this hurricane.
Democrats sabotaged the economy with their pandemic panic, and ruined city after city with their BLM movement.
They did all this -- to elect Hunter Biden's pop?

Perhaps Biden and his wife were alerted about the rogue laptop by the FBI back in January, and they told the DNC that they weren't going to take the fall alone. The Democratic leadership gathered round and discussed how to deal with the potential problem, and the best they could come up with was to offer Biden the nomination after killing him or the shop owner was ruled out.

Combine this with 1) Biden's lack of campaigning, energy and mental acuity, 2) rising black and Hispanic support for Trump, 3) spontaneous truck/boat/buggy Trump rallies, and thousands lining the streets for him, 4) despondent behavior of those on the left, 5) Trump's undeniable record on the economy, 6) BLM and Antifa attempts to extort the vote, 7) the rhetoric of the dominant Marxist wing of the Democrat party, 8) Americans sick of being accused of whatever character flaws like racism (what is that exactly any more?), 9) China, 10) the Wall, and I'm with Don at a minimum 37 states for Trump. Nearly as important, Trump will likely have a coattail effect on supposedly close down ballot races.

DeleteIt is illegal to use campaign funds for personal purposes - but for a long time his stock-in-trade has been finding sleazy (but probably legal) ways to launder campaign cash so that it can be used for personal purposes. For a long time (and it may have resumed), 15% of campaign funds were tithed to a "political consulting firm"... that was operated by his wife and step-daughter. And in 2Q19, his presidential campaign reported an expense of $450k to buy copies of his books... do the math, that's a lot of books for what exactly... but at the standard 15% royalty rate that's a nice payment to give yourself.
Methinks that one reason that he really didn't show a killer instinct for winning is because he's smart enough to know that he's got a nice racket together, and if he tries to reach too high, then less-pliant people might start to look into some of these things.
In 2016 and 2020, he got a lot of campaign cash and got material to "write" another "book." That was probably the purpose.
Biden is a Hail Mary pass. If he wins, all the Democrat's problems go away.

ReplyDeleteReading some of the e-mails, one can almost feel sorry for Hunter. The family knew he had problems, and that he had expensive, um, "habits"... yet rather than getting him out of circulation and getting him help, they used him as a figurehead to serve as a conduit.
As I said a few days ago, the Ukraine thing is bothersome for more than just the Biden corruption and payoffs. Ukraine has been trying to clean up its post-Soviet corruption, and Joe flew in in 2014 and basically destroyed that effort singlehandedly... as we now know, because he was paid off by the corrupt set of that country, via the "conduit." (Much of the clean-up they've been trying to do in Ukraine is to bring things up to "European standards" in a bid to eventually join the EU; separate of whether or not that's a good idea, the Biden crime family torpedoed that effort. So, where is the outrage from domestic lefties who are always lecturing us on "European values"??)

They might hope to do so, and they certainly will fight to win the Presidency, but with the economic gains, Trump's deft moves to avoid missteps during the fake pandemic, and the rest of Trump's popular agenda, the Democrats never had a chance against a popular President.
So, what's the next best thing to taking the Presidency back? Neuter Trump, by taking the Senate and expanding their control of the house.
What you are missing is that this was ALWAYS about the Democrats stopping further Trump judicial nominations, about freezing his agenda in place. With all the mischief that the corrupt Pelosi House Democrats committed, imagine doubling that with the same going on in a Schumer controlled Senate.
That's their target. That's what the massive voter fraud campaign of theirs is all about. They will concede the executive branch, as long as they can control the legislative, and leave EVERY SINGLE Federal judicial seat open and unfilled, unless Trump lets Schumer and Pelosi pick his judicial nominees.
That's "victory", to the Democrats. After all, MOST of the Democrat politicians are in the legislature. Each congressman or Senator fashion's him/her/itself to be their own little "monarch". They want to preserve that status, those perks, THAT power, at all costs, even letting Biden go down in flames, to do so.

It looks to me that Obama has constructed a Costra Nostra government in which Obama is the boss of bosses and Joe Biden is his biggest money earner. Obviously no one other than Joe is going to be able to funnel illicit cash to Obama especially Bernie or Mayor Pete. And given that the Clintons are more rival gang than allies means that anyone beholden to Hillary isn't going to kick up cash to Obama. I'd say that there was a power struggle of sorts during the Dem primaries with Obama coming out the winner and Joe Biden the nominee.
