Stealing the election

Nate Silver had an odd tweet. He said if you just go by the polls, it is Biden 270 and President Donald John Trump 268 in the Electoral College. Given that N8 Ag's entire career is built on polls being correct this tells me Silver knows the polls are covering up the fact that Biden is tanking.

For example, the Emerson College poll has Biden up by 2 points nationally.

But it shows President Trump receiving 19% of the black vote, up from 8% in 2016.

And it shows President Trump receiving 37% of the Hispanic vote, up from 29% in 2016.

Those are significant shifts. How can Biden be ahead by 2 when he lost so much of the minority vote?

Easy. Emerson simply said President Trump's share of the white vote fell to 56%, down from 58% in 2016.

Meanwhile, Emerson said Biden gets 41% of the white vote, up from the 37% Hillary got. Thus Emerson would have you believe that President Trump's 21-point lead among white voters is now 15 points.

Mmm-kay.

I cannot figure out why white voters would turn their backs on President Trump. What, they didn't like the 60% rise in their 401k's?

However, the main purpose of the Emerson poll was to establish that President Trump's voters will vote in person while Biden's will mail it in.

Emerson would have you believe that President Trump will win early voting 50%-48% in early voting, and 57%-37% on Election Day, but then proceed to lose the post-election mail-in voting 28%-67%.

Then again, 3 of the 5 states that require all votes to be by mail are Biden states -- Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. That would skew things somewhat.

Still, this finding begs the question of why Biden voters trust the Post Office but not the voting booth. Covid 19 fears are hogwash. I have seen too many Biden supporters on the streets rioting, looting, and burning down buildings to believe that they are afraid to vote in person.

Which brings us to N8 Ag. He had inside information from Democrats in the 2008 and 2012 elections which allowed him to get 99 of the 100 state elections correct. No one cares about DC. Everyone knows it is a free square for Democrats on their Electoral College Bingo card.

The election itself does not matter to Democrats. They simply will litigate the election because they know they cannot win it because they screwed around for the last 4 years with witch hunts and impeachment, instead of seeking to flip President Trump's voters.

Without a nice slice of President Trump's voters (about 10% of whom voted for Obama at least once), Democrats are as dead as Biden's brain.

The Democrat riots in city after city are perhaps a training exercise for post-election violence. Perhaps they believe the Antifa soy boys will intimidate the president's supporters. Democrats are not exactly rocket scientists.

But I believe the courts are where the Democrats believe they can win the prize they covet most.

The Senate.

Democrats have seen Donald Trump in action.

He went 22-0 in Senate races in the 30 states he won in 2016.

In 2018, he did something no president had done in a midterm in 84 years by defeating 4 incumbent senators of the opposition party. Midterms usually belong to the party that does not hold the White House.

Sure, the press ignores this but John Podesta and the rest know about it and want to defuse it.

The stink about mail-in voting is not to win the presidency necessarily, but to shake loose a few Senate seats from Republicans. Arizona and Colorado top the list for Democrats, but they also eye Georgia, Iowa, Maine, Montana, and North Carolina. Contrary to common belief, Montana is not a red state. It is purple outside of presidential elections.

The last election litigated was 2000, and both parties were caught flat-footed. The Supreme Court voted along party lines, and that was that.

The only other presidential election that was litigated was the 1876 contest in which Samuel Tilden appeared to receive a majority of the popular vote. Given the way Democrats terrorized black Republican voters, I disagree.

Democrats settled out of court, trading the presidency for the end of Reconstruction.

This time, Democrats are well prepared to fight the election results by any means necessary. Their summer of riots has laid the groundwork for an insurrection, and they have hinted at the possibility of executing a military coup.

I am curious as to what price Democrats want to extract from President Trump to acknowledge and accept his re-election. I suspect it involves a further sellout to Red China.

By the way, have you noticed that Democrats stopped whining about the wall? Opposition to the wall now costs them Hispanic votes as polls show President Trump's share of the Hispanic vote is rising.

Don't get me wrong. I believe Democrats do want the Supreme Court to make Joe Biden president. But if Chief Justice John Roberts gets cold feet or Ginsburg is, um, unavailable, they will try to cut a deal.

What can we do?

A lot.

Pray for the president every night, and vote early because you never know when you may get hit by a bus.

  1. Trump's been spending his money on lawyers, too.

I don't think the Demos will get what they want.

  2. If there are sufficient irregularities, I could see the Supreme Court ruling that the election had to be re-done, this time without mass mail-in ballots. I believe the courts recently ruled that an election in New Jersey had to be repeated. https://www.nj.com/passaic-county/2020/08/nj-city-gets-an-election-do-over-after-voter-fraud-issues.html

    1. I don't see the courts ordering a re-vote. Elections are Nov 3. The Electoral College vote is December 14. That is only 6 weeks. To complicate matters, the cutoff date is actually the week before (Dec 8). That is the date that the states must certify the voting. So we are done to 5 weeks. If it takes more than 3 weeks to count the votes (and any recounts), there is not a lot of room for any court proceedings, much less a re-vote and re-count.

To be fair, if you search InstaPundit you'll find a link to a story where UPI, the NY Times and a consortium of other media giants paid to recount the entire state of FL.
    Bush won.
Many people don't know, or have forgotten, this.
Perhaps by accident, SCOTUS got it right.

    3. BTW, if Gore had won FL by 538 votes, do you think those news orgs would have paid to manually recount the state?

  4. Some of the blue states changed their electoral selection to give them to who wins the popular vote; the National Popular Voter Compact. That may backfire this year because Trump may very well win the popular vote and those blue state electors will be in Trump's column.
Won't it be nice to see "California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon and Rhode Island" all blue states go for Trump this election? Are any of these in your 37, Don?

    1. The National Popular Voter Compact is unconstitutional absent consent from Congress. See US Constitution, Article I, Section 10, Clause 3. Because Congress has not consented to the NPVC, any efforts to enforce it will be null.

    2. I’m a lifetime Illinois voter and a Medicare card holder so I’ve been voting here a long, long time.

Illinois is definitely NOT in play.

They simply wait for the rural vote totals to come in. A call goes out to C(r)ook County...
      “How many do we need...?”
      And Illinois goes as usual.

Never gonna be red until we get rid of Madigan.

    3. In 1968, Daley tried to repeat his "late count" stunt that had worked so well in '60. But this time, John Mitchell, Nixon's campaign manager, was ready for him. He told the Republicans who ran the collar counties around Chicago to hold off reporting their totals until AFTER Cook County. Daley, of course, refused to report. So IL became a standoff into the wee hours. Finally, about 6 AM, Mitchell called the head of CBS News (whom he knew) and fingered Daley as the culprit. Daley, recall, was in bad odor with the media because of the '68 convention. CBS ran a story blaming Daley for the standoff. That was enough. He reported his totals, followed by the collar counties, and Nixon won the state and the election.

    4. If Chicago just had to report the NUMBERS of votes, whether or not they were yet counted, the rural counties could report.
That's actually a standard that the courts could fairly impose.

    2. The Old and Unimproved Dave is spot on!

President Trump doesn’t need Republican governors to bring the wrath of God down on these anti-American thugs. He just needs “more flexibility because he won’t have another election to win”. (Paraphrasing an idiot)

  7. When it comes to the mail-in voting racket, the Democrats have been telegraphing their punches. I find it hard to believe that Trump's campaign staff would be unaware of any attempt to steal the election and are not devising courses of action to thwart the plots.

  9. Gore only asked to recount the counties around Miami I’m assuming to “find” more votes. The Supreme Ct of Fla changed the voting procedures post election to try to help Gore. SCOTUS said that was not legal and the whole state had to be included in the recount. Of course that decision was along party lines and Bush did win that recount.

  10. Out my way in California, Gov. Nuisance has declared that all registered voters will receive a mail-in (probably several if you move around a lot).

This has caused a lot of panic, since most people don't trust the Post Office very much. So my City has posted "24-hour ballot boxes". They are built like brick s#!thouses, but look way too small.

But my County has apparently come under a lot of pressure to provide some form of votin-in-person. So they are doing it, but hiding it, saying that there will NO precincts this election. But if you looking further down, you see that they ARE providing AVLs (Accessible Voting Locations) that will work like the old precincts and using your mail-in ballot to identify you. And those will open 3 days before Election Day. So, you will able to vote in an AVL for 4 days. Sneaky buggers.

    ReplyDelete
  11. And forgot to mention, the Registrar's Office doesn't expect to have election results for up to 30 days AFTER Election Day. That's supposedly due to all the checking of people failing their signature verification.

    1. Good point about signature verification, all the more reason to vote in PERSON. They will not pass on a chance to toss the votes of known conservatives.

  14. Biden voters are mailing their votes in because:

    1. The party said to.

    2. They figure that the more mail in votes there are the easier it will be for the Dems to cheat. They're providing cover for the cheating.
