Highlights of the News

Donald John Trump is still our president. I don't see that changing.

ITEM 1: Danielle Pletka, a Senior Fellow at the once-credible American Enterprise Institute, penned for the Washington Post, "I never considered voting for Trump in 2016. I may be forced to vote for him this year."

She wrote, "Over the past four years, like an oil slick that besmirches all it touches, Trump himself has managed to obscure his administration’s more-substantive accomplishments, such as focusing the world’s attention on China’s threat to global security and brokering a new era of Middle East peace."

An oil slick?

He delivered on the wall, on new trade agreements, on tax cuts, on jobs -- a 3.5% unemployment rate until covid 19 -- and on regulatory reform.

He has done everything this shrew and her crew at AEI have said they wanted. And she has to be forced to vote for him?

I want to tell her, lady, keep your vote and shove it up your Biden.

ITEM 2: The Daily Mail reported, "Murder rates surged nearly 15% nationwide in the first half of 2020 while overall violent crime fell by almost half a percent, a new FBI report has revealed.

"The FBI released its Preliminary Uniform Crime Report for January through June of this year on Tuesday, which showed how crime rates have changed around the US amid the corona virus pandemic.

"The national murder rate increased 14.8% in the first six months of 2020 compared with the year before. The largest increase of 26% was seen in cities with a population of 250,000 to 500,000 people.

"Arson rates also increased by 19.2% nationwide, with a 52.1% spike in cities with more than one million residents."

All because some higher-than-a-kite fentanyl user resisted arrest.

ITEM 3: The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported, "Wisconsin likely won't have results in the presidential race on election night and municipal clerks say that's largely because state lawmakers won't let them get a head start on counting an expected flood of absentee ballots.

"Clerks from both parties for years have pushed for a change in state law that would allow them to start counting at least some absentee ballots before Election Day. They see the issue especially pressing now that voters are turning to absentee voting in unprecedented numbers because of the corona virus pandemic.

"Clerks can begin counting absentee ballots starting at 7 a.m. on Nov. 3, when polls open for in-person voting. Polls close at 8 p.m., but Milwaukee and some other cities likely won't be finished counting absentee ballots by then."

Its secretary of state is a Democrat.

ITEM 4The Washington Examiner reported, "The Department of Education has informed Princeton University that it is under investigation following the school president's declaration that racism was embedded in the institution.

"President Christopher Eisgruber published an open letter earlier this month claiming that 'racism and the damage it does to people of color persist at Princeton' and that 'racist assumptions' are 'embedded in structures of the University itself.'

"According to a letter the Department of Education sent to Princeton that was obtained by the Washington Examiner, such an admission from Eisgruber raises concerns that Princeton has been receiving tens of millions of dollars of federal funds in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which declares that 'no person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.'"

That could be a very expensive virtue signal by Princeton, which just admitted it is an anti-American institution undeserving of federal subsidies.

Indeed, it should be declared ineligible for student loans.

Words are not violence, but they do have meaning. It is well past time for the left to dial the language and rhetoric back.

ITEM 5: The Associated Press reported, "Pennsylvania’s highest court gave the Democratic Party a series of victories Thursday, including one allowing repairs to glitches and gray areas in the battleground state’s fledgling mail-in voting law and another that kicked the Green Party’s presidential candidate off the November ballot. The state Supreme Court, which has a 5-2 Democratic majority, granted the Democratic Party’s request to order a three-day extension of Pennsylvania’s Election Day deadline to count mailed-in ballots."

State law says the deadline is November 11. Weird that justices can just rewrite election laws without any input from voters.

Republicans should see how they fare in federal court.

ITEM 6: Breitbart News reported, "The NBA’s ratings continue to plummet as the league moves through its conference finals this year. However, the crash isn’t a new thing. It’s been going on since 2012.

"Game 1 of the finals featuring the Heat and Celtics earned only 4 million viewers, down significantly from last year’s Bucks-Raptors game of 5.5 million viewers, Outkick reported.

"The ratings crash is even worse going back a few seasons. In 2018, Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Cavs and Celtics saw 7.2 million viewers, making this year’s 4 million an even worse showing."

Yikes. A 27% drop in ratings one year.

The story also said, "A Harris poll released on Sept. 2 discovered that 39% of respondents who identified as sports fans felt that the league was too political. And another 19% said that they had soured on pro basketball because of the NBA’s deep links to China."

Sports was once a place where liberals and conservatives could come together to hate the Yankees, the Patriots, and the Warriors. That's all gone.

ITEM 7: Victor Davis Hanson reported, "In the last two weeks, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has achieved the most stunning breakthroughs in Middle Eastern diplomacy in over half a century.

"Countries once hostile to Israel, such as the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, now formally recognize it. Other Arab nations may follow. Ancient existential enemies Kosovo and Serbia also agreed to normalize their relationship with Israel by signing economic agreements.

"Yet none of these historic events have drawn much media attention. All of them would have been canonized were they achievements of the Obama administration.

"In 2017, the media suggested that Trump's plans to get out of the Iran nuclear deal and the Paris climate accord, to confront Chinese mercantilism, to forge new alliances between Israel and moderate Arab regimes, to isolate an ascendant Iran, to close the southern border to illegal immigration, to jawbone NATO alliance members into honoring their defense expenditure commitments, and to destroy ISIS and weaken Hezbollah were all impossible, counterproductive or sheer madness.

"And now?

"An embargoed and bankrupt Iran is teetering on the brink. Its international terrorist appendages, including Hezbollah, are broke."

The news media no longer cares about the truth because facts mess up their storyline.

ITEM 8: The Daily Caller reported, "Protesters who chanted 'we hope they die' while blocking ambulance exit and entrances at a hospital were compared to ISIS by a Los Angeles Sheriff Tuesday, Fox News reported.

"Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva said that the protesters who advocated for the two injured deputies to die were 'something almost worthy of ISIS,' on Fox News’s America’s Newsroom.

"'It’s just a new low for the hatred that I don’t think anyone in this nation has ever seen before,' Villanueva said."

There was a time when assassination attempts were considered evil.

Now Democrats openly support them.

ITEM 9: The Associated Press reported, "The U.S. Department of Education is threatening to withhold some federal funding from Connecticut school districts if they follow a state policy that allows transgender girls to compete as girls in high school sports.

"In response to a complaint filed last year by several cisgender female track athletes who argued that two transgender female runners had an unfair physical advantage, the federal agency's office for civil rights determined in May that Connecticut's policy violates the civil rights of athletes who are not transgender."

Cisgendered is now mainstream as the American media becomes America's Pravda spitting out whatever nonsense passes through a liberal on any particular day.

We have gone from breaking down sex stereotypes to reinforcing them and opening them to both sexes. We are a ridiculous people.

ITEM 10: The Daily Mail reported, "A 17-year-old boy who had worked for a Republican congressional candidate running against Democratic Rep Ilhan Omar was shot and killed in an attack outside a gas station on Minneapolis’ north side.

"A second person who also had worked for Republican Lacy Johnson was wounded in the shooting on Monday.

"Earlier this morning, police in Minneapolis arrested a suspect in the fatal shooting following a high-speed pursuit. He is now in custody but has yet to be named."

I have a name for him, but I don't think readers want to see it. Don't give the murderer a name. Give him a ticket for a seat. A real, real, real hot seat.

ITEM 11: Just a reminder, our nation was founded in 1776, not 1619. More than 300,000 Union soldiers died freeing 5 million slaves. Only a communist or an idiot would believe in critical race theory.

Meanwhile, National Review reported, "Two black leaders are launching '1776 Unites,' a new high school curriculum that aims to combat victimhood culture in American society by telling the stories of black Americans who have prospered by embracing America’s founding ideals. Civil rights veteran Bob Woodson and Ian Rowe, a charter school leader, gave remarks Wednesday on the new curriculum and what they hope it will accomplish for young black students and students of all races."

America is the greatest land of all. Anyone who disagrees can move the heck out.

ITEM 12: Occupy Washington on account of rain -- and by rain I mean the 101st Airborne.
By the way, what in the heck is violent jazz? Herbie Hancock playing a Tommy Gun?

It's crazy, man. Crazy.

ITEM 13WHEC reported, "The Monroe County Department of Public Health says it’s seeing a growing number of COVID-19 cases that could be directly or indirectly connected to houses of worship. The department is asking communities of faith to review best practices for services, including mask-wearing at all times, six feet social distancing, putting markers on the ground, blocking off every other row of seating and encouraging frequent hand washing and sanitizing."

I see.

The government would have you believe riots this weekend had nothing to do with covid 19.

Communists must be immune to this stuff, which would explain why Red China is not in the top 10 of countries with this virus.

ITEM 14: Chris Rock told the New York Times, "I said this before, but Obama becoming the president, it’s progress for white people. It’s not progress for black people. It’s the Jackie Robinson thing. It’s written like he broke a barrier, as if there weren’t black people that could play before him. And that’s how white people have learned about racism. They think, when these people work hard enough, they’ll be like Jackie. And the real narrative should be that these people, the black people, are being abused by a group of people that are mentally handicapped. And we’re trying to get them past their mental handicaps to see that all people are equal.

"Humanity isn’t progress — it’s only progress for the person that’s taking your humanity. If a woman’s in an abusive relationship and her husband stops beating her, you wouldn’t say she’s made progress, right? But that’s what we do with black people. We’re constantly told that we’re making progress. The relationship we’re in — the arranged marriage that we’re in — it’s that we’re getting beat less."

Poor Chris Rock, a multi-millionaire who is unhappy. If he doesn't like what he calls a marriage, he can always leave.

ITEM 15: Breitbart Entertainment reported, "Netflix’s Cheer star and former Joe Biden presidential campaign surrogate Jerry Harris has been arrested and charged with producing child pornography.

"The Netflix star has been arrested on production of child pornography charges, per the U.S. Attorney’s office in Chicago, according to a report by the Chicago Sun-Times. A criminal complaint filed on Thursday alleges that Harris had asked for pornographic images and videos from two 14-year-old boys, adding that the boys’ parents found the photos and videos on one of the child’s phones."

Netflix gave the Obamas $65 million for no-show jobs.

It also gave a nice payoff to the ABC president who fired Roseanne Barr for offending Obama's chief of staff.

Now this.

Instinct tells me Netflix is laundering Red Chinese money.

ITEM 16: NBC News reported, "Kroger, one of the country's largest supermarket chains, is being sued in federal court after two former employees claimed they were wrongfully terminated for refusing to wear an apron with a rainbow symbol.

"The ex-employees, who identify as Christian, cited religious objections in their refusal to wear what they believed was an 'endorsement of the LGBTQ community,' according to the lawsuit."

First they said tolerate.

Now they say kneel.

Gay people are being used to pave the way to totalitarianism, and history shows among the first to be herded up and killed are the homosexuals.

ITEM 17: The Daily Signal reported, "Support for the Black Lives Matter movement has fallen since June, dropping more than 12 percentage points over the past three months among non-black Americans, according to a poll published Thursday.

"Roughly 55% of American adults said that they supported BLM in September, compared to 67% of people who said the same thing in June, according to a poll from the Pew Research Center. White American support fell the most, dipping from 60% in June to 45% in September, the poll found."

As a reader said, BLM stands for Bitter Little Marxists.

ITEM 18: Fox35-TV in Orlando reported, "A fifth-grade student was told not to wear his Hooters face mask in class, because it violates the Student Code of Conduct. Ian Golba, 11, has been wearing a mask from Hooters restaurant to class, something he said he has been using since school started at Sunset Park Elementary in August. Earlier this week, the principal told him it was 'inappropriate.'"

His father defended him.

I would have apologized to the principal and then, when I got the boy in my car laughed my arse off.

ITEM 19: Just the News reported, "Comedian and actor Jerry Seinfeld said rescuing live venues hurt by the corona virus pandemic with private donations isn't the way government works.

"Seinfeld, who is supporting the Save Our Stages bill to provide $10 billion in federal grants of up to $12 million to live venues, was asked if he is going to donate to live venues in New York City."

His actual words were: "That doesn't seem like how government works at all. So now we're going to go to private citizens and just ask them to kick in?"

That is how we fund private businesses such as the comedy clubs that made him a star.

Her isn't a comedian.

He is a welfare queen.

Gimme, gimme, gimme, $10 billion.

ITEM 20: Outkick reported, "Steelers lineman Maurkice Pouncey issued a statement to clarify his position on having Antwon Rose’s name on the back of his helmet during Monday night’s game against the New York Giants."

Outkick reported, "Here’s how the Steelers website described the Rose situation: 'On the night of June 19, 2018, the car Antwon Rose Jr., who is black, was a passenger in was pulled over by the East Pittsburgh Police. While the driver was being handcuffed on suspicion of being involved in an incident that happened earlier that evening, a frightened Rose fled from the car,' Teresa Varley wrote on 'The cell phone video a bystander captured showed Rose running, and then you could hear gunshots and see as he was fatally shot in the back three times by a white East Pittsburgh Police Officer.'"

Outkick then said, "The Steelers failed to mention deeper details surrounding the case such as the victim in the drive-by 'incident' told investigators it was Rose who shot at him. 'The beef was between me and him, that car came by, he shot me, I ran to the store,' William Ross told investigators referencing Rose. Police also found a 9-millimeter handgun magazine in Rose’s pocket. A loaded 9-millimeter Glock was found under the seat with 16-rounds in a 17-round magazine. Police also stated gunshot residue was found on Rose’s hands."

The officer was tried and acquitted.

The Steelers are a billion-dollar operation with a nickel brain. I hope against hope that the NFL will collapse in a pile of ashes. My TV is on The Untouchables on Sunday afternoon. No football player ever honored Frank Nitti.

ITEM 21: I have no idea what he is talking about.

Neither does he.

FINALLY, The Hill reported, "Michelle Obama: 'We could've never gotten away with' what the Trump White House does."

Obama used the FBI to spy on a political opponent.

I lost all my patience with black multi-millionaires who bitch about racism.

  1. "State law says the deadline is November 11. Weird that justices can just rewrite election laws without any input from voters." DS

Don, go to your main page and scroll down to the story that tells us how the democrats wont be able to steal the election. Do you dispute those words now? Did the PA Supreme giving democrats 3 days to cheat temper your opinion a little bit?

    1. That gives the dems 3 days to "find" ballots in car trunks, closets, bins, etc. after they find out how many they need to "find."

    2. The ruling also eliminates the requirement that the ballots be post marked and that the signatures match those on the voting records. The court just handed PA to Biden/Harris. Trump will win PA on November 3rd and lose PA by November 6th. If the Republicans want to hold any seats in the future, they better learn how to cheat in under the new election rules sweeping the country. The Democrats already have several decades of practice and will only be ramping up their efforts going forward.

    3. The PA Supreme Court decision went too far. It requires that any mail sorting machines that have been removed must be replaced, tells the USPS how they must schedule their mail deliveries to sorting stations, and tells the USPS how they are to prioritize ballots.
Since when does a state court yell a federal agency what they must do?

    4. There is a sizable difference between saying an election can't be stolen and pointing out that a jurist is ruling by fiat from the bench - when clear, existing legislation is on the books.

Methinks you like the sound of your own voice and want to appear clever.

      You weren't.

  2. The worst thing Donald Trump has done is expose the grifters. You see, the money is in the advocating for particular policies, not in the achieving. Once they have been achieved there is no reason to pay you.

  3. I would place Ornette Coleman as violent jazz!

    1. (sorry - cheap laugh. Ornette's OK)

    2. Actually the blues Bros. came to mind-too bad John Belushi and Carrie Fisher are gone-she played a mean AK-47.

    3. 1. I think Don drives a red Mustang. Does anyone know where he was on September 17?

    4. Upon the advice of my attorney, I am asserting my 5th Amendment right to remain silent.

  4. "Instinct tells me Netflix is laundering Chinese money."

I'll take the over on that one.

  5. 1. The Washington Press Corpse are the guilty ones who hid my President's success stories
    2. All because a drug addict took a fatal overdose. He wasn't resisting arrest and the officers never treated him like a resistor. He was going through the effects of the overdose. Those officers saw it, recognized it,reacted to it and tried to keep him alive until the ambulance arrived.
As to the jump in crime, it happened because communist mayors and governors wanted the riots.
    4. Good point, shut off the money spigot.
    9. Admit it, men are better at being women than women are. /Sarc. Slippery slope has become a cliff.
    20. If the stealers or even the national felon league have a nickels worth of brains, it would be awesome if they used a penny's worth.

  6. In 1954 the black community fought tooth and nail to get good education for their children. Today we can't get the great grandchildren to even attend.
When those who sacrificed and suffered see this disregard, how do they feel?

  7. 1 - PDJT’s accomplishments are only obscure to those who don’t want to look.

4 - get woke, go broke.

13 - when in doubt, blame Christians and Jews.

15 - Netflix is the Iran of the entertainment world.

21 - the only thing I can think of is he is talking about the manure flowing from his lips.

  8. 18- And here I thought everybody likes owls.

  9. 3: Another of Dr Evil's plots. Thank you, Mr Newt, for finally saying his name on air.

10: I favor a short rope and a long drop.

Keelhauling, ants, a thousand cuts, and staked out for the buzzards also work.

11: America is the greatest land of all.

    Forgot the "Mwah".

17: 55% of American adults said that they supported BLM in September, compared to 67% of people who said the same thing in June, according to a poll from the Pew Research Center

I saw 67 and 55 and asked myself, "In what parallel universe?", and then I saw Pew and it all became clear.

    21: Ain't it da troof.

    1. All of the nonprofits and foundations bearing the name Pew are descended fro J. Newton Pew, founder of Sunoco. I doubt if the Pew family plays any role in their operations. We need a crackdown on these money laundering rackets. They have been sacrosanct for far too long.

  10. I can tell from the preponderance of the articles that the silly season is upon us and will likely last until inauguration day.

    Keep the faith!

  11. According to reports I have heard the post mark has to be on or before 8 PM Nov 3rd. That doesn't seem to be such a Dam win.

  12. "ITEM 19: ... Comedian and actor Jerry Seinfeld ... is supporting the Save Our Stages bill"

What was that venue which got a bailout in the first Covid welfare bill, then laid off all the musicians the day after the bill passed? Was that Carnegie Hall, or the NY Met or ...? Anyway, let those who support it who use it. Don't use tax money.

  13. Mooch must not know what her Marxist Super Spy husband did to Trump.

    1. Considering the apparent intelligence of Obama, I suspect that it was Mooch who suggested the spying.

  14. I have made 96,760 Buck just last month by working online from my home. I am a full time college student and just doing this in my free time for few hours per week by using my laptop.Everyone can check this out and start making cash online in a very easy way by just following instructions…….
