Trump 2020 is ahead of Trump 2016

A new Hill-Harris X poll shows Basement Biden with a 3 point lead nationally over President Donald John Trump. The poll comes 4 years almost to the day that a Fox poll showed Hillary with a 10-point lead.

Both surveys were of registered voters.

The Hill reported, "If the 2020 Presidential election were held today, 43% of voters would vote for former Vice President Joe Biden while 40% would chose President Trump, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds.

"The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee's lead fell from a 7 percentage points in a July 17-20 survey to 3 percentage points in this August 2-5 poll."

August 2016 was a great month for Hillary.

NBC reported, "Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by 9 points — 50% to 41% — in the latest NBC News|SurveyMonkey Weekly Election Tracking Poll."

ABC reported, "Unable to consolidate support from steadfast Republicans and losing ground among white college-educated women, Donald Trump is trailing Hillary Clinton by double digits in a Monmouth University national poll released today.

"The poll shows Clinton leading Trump, 46% to 34%, among registered voters and finds a similar margin for Clinton among likely voters."

CNN reported, "Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump in a surprising new poll of Georgia, edging the Republican nominee 44% to 40% among registered voters in the deep red state."

The Washington Post quoted the assistant director of the Quinnipiac poll who said, "We are starting to hear the faint rumblings of a Hillary Clinton landslide."

Fortune magazine reported, "Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party just had their best fundraising month yet.

"The presidential candidate released her fundraising totals for the month of August when she raised $143 million for her campaign and party—an impressive 58% jump from July’s $90 million. According to the Washington Post, $62 million was donated to her campaign committee and $81 million went to the Democratic National Committee and state parties."

Things were going so swell for Hillary that 2 weeks before the election, the Telegraph reported, "Hillary Clinton is so far ahead of Donald Trump in the race for the presidency that she no longer even feels the need to pay attention to the Republican nominee.

"Buoyed by a double digit lead in some national polls, Mrs Clinton has said she is now looking past Mr Trump entirely, and will no longer counter allegations made by her rival."

She said, "I don’t even think about responding to him anymore."

Oops.

The hare said the same thing about the tortoise.

But everyone has learned his lesson. This time will be different.

CNN reported last month, "The signs of a Democratic landslide are everywhere."

Ah, but what about Allan Lichtman?

USA Today reported, "Professor Allan Lichtman, who has accurately predicted elections since 1984, says Biden will win."

Fact check: at this point in the 2016 campaign, he said Hillary would win.

The Daily Bruin reported on August 10, 2016, "Lichtman added his model currently predicts Clinton will win about 52% of the vote."

The media reporting on President Trump is so predictable, it bores me. The walls are always closing in. The dam is always ready to break. The signs of a landslide are always everywhere.

Do not be discouraged.

On August 5, 2016, Real Clear Politics reported bettors gave Hillary a 72% chance of winning.

4 years later, bettors give Biden a 61% chance.

Never bet against Donald John Trump.

  1. My new challenge: Keeping from composing e-mails in my head to LibCommie family and so-called friends on November 4th. “Eight more years, Karen” is the first one that came to mind.

  2. I wish the election was over.

I think Trump is with holding fire till Biden is officially the candidate. Trump is just doing enough for status quo. Plus the shy voter issue.

  5. Bill Whittle has a bit on the Rasmussen poll showing something to completely different. Another thing- People are lying to the polls. Out of fear for their lives, family, pets.. the great evil that is the modern Dem party is the reason.

    1. I only pay attention to likely voter polls. That is how we have compiled our local lists for door to door canvasing.

    2. A lot of people lie to the polls these days because it's fun. That moment of 'This result somewhat contradicts our findings' is always a joy.

  6. I sincerely hope that President Trump is re-elected.
What concerns me is the Billions of dollars that have been donated to the dimms this year, from mini-Mike, BLM, and others. That much money can buy so much cheating, violence, etc.

  7. I expect to see a fake massive jump for slow joe once he announces his affirmative action VP pick.

I don’t believe In the polls. I believe in the attempts at fraud by the democrats.

  8. Biden's mental impairment is becoming common knowledge. A TV pundit predicted last night that the Democrats will try to frame the election as Trump cs. the virus, Trump vs. the economy and even Trump vs. China. If President Trump frames his campaign as himself vs. Biden and relentlessly sticks to it, he will win going away.

  9. The MSM are doing it to the Democrats AGAIN.

They simply cannot understand that being the feisty underdog is worth an extra 5% to a candidate.

  10. Mike Obama: please put the seat down on the toilet after you take a piss.

    Barry likes it down.
