Highlights of the News

Donald John Trump is still our president.

ITEM 1: Just the News reported, "President Trump announced Tuesday that he is issuing a posthumous pardon of suffragette Susan B. Anthony, arrested for voting in 1872 in violation of existing law that permitted only men to cast ballots.

"Tuesday marks the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment, which granted women the right to vote.

"Anthony was found guilty by an all-male jury of illegally voting for President Ulysses S. Grant."

The headline in the Washington Post should be, "President Trump supports vote fraud by a Republican."

The 1872 election, though, was not in question. Democrats did not bother nominating a candidate, not even a demented old man. I doubt the vote of Anthony or the 14 other women who voted alongside her were included in the count.

Hers was an act of civil disobedience.

She never got to vote Republican as she died 14 years before women throughout the land got the right to vote. But she has voted Democrat ever since.

ITEM 2: Variety got a Drudge link to a boring story, "Madison Avenue Meltdown: Marketers, Media Outlets Feud Over Billions of Dollars in Advertising."

What was interesting was a chart on industry advertising which ran with the story. No. 1 was $4 billion spent by drug companies, No. 2 was $3.4 billion spent by car companies, and No. 3 was $3.2 billion by insurance companies.

For some reason I see more car insurance commercials than ads for cars. Most of the ads with Flo, the Gecko, and the Emu are annoying, but often they are more entertaining than the show I am sorta watching. (The TV is on without sound whilst I play on the Internet.)

My favorite drug ad is the woman being dragged to the bathroom by a cartoon bladder that acts like a little child. My guess is the ad works.

But decades of drug commercials be it for Excedrin or prescription medicines have fueled our nation's illicit drug problems. It also explains why so many people insist on a vaccine instead of going outside. Often we pay for things in ways more precious than dollars.

ITEM 3: OK! reported, "Political anchor Chuck Todd was once the rising star of NBC – undergoing dramatic weight loss and a complete makeover. But Todd is now said to be livid at what he believes is a campaign to push him out of the network, OK! has been told.

"First MSNBC extended Nicole Wallace’s hit show Deadline to two hours, taking over the time slot previously held by Chuck, and now Nicole’s name has been thrown out to replace Chuck on the flagship Sunday morning show Meet The Press. Chuck is livid and lashing out, sources tell OK!"

Bwahaha.

The story said, "To add insult to injury, Chuck has been asked to introduce disgraced Brian Williams when he takes over coverage from Chuck at 3 pm! Chuck refused and instead is acting like a spoilt brat refusing to share his toys with his brothers and sisters. This isn’t going to end well, the source confirmed."

He can always fall back on his back-up plan of replacing Punxsutawney Phil.

ITEM 4: Charles Lipson wrote, "News reports have downplayed the significance of former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith’s guilty plea, acknowledging he altered an official document in the government’s Trump-Russia collusion probe. There has been some coverage, mainly because it is so rare to see FBI agents charged with a felony and because it is the first tangible result of U.S. Attorney John Durham’s sprawling investigation of the investigators. But mainstream news outlets have minimized its importance. It’s only one count, they say, and it deals with a relatively minor crime by a mid-level figure.

"That’s spin, and it’s wrong. This plea is like finding water seeping from the base of a dam. The problem is not one muddy puddle. The problem is that it foreshadows the dam’s failure, releasing a torrent. That’s what the Clinesmith plea portends."

Clinesmith volunteered to be the first person charged in the Russian Collusion scandal. How fitting. Those who falsely accused our president may be the ones who go to prison.

But no excitement without an indictment over the next two weeks.

ITEM 5: United Press International reported, "Online sales for Walmart nearly doubled in the United States in the second quarter, rising 97% as more Americans stayed home and used web devices to buy items during the covid 19 pandemic.

"Walmart reported the figures in an earnings report posted on its website Tuesday. The second quarter accounts for 13 weeks that ended on July 31.

"The retailer said same-store sales also grew 9.3% during the three-month period, led by food and general merchandise purchases."

Unconstitutional covid 19 lockdowns killed small businesses.

Look who profited.

ITEM 6: Just the News reported, "Dr. Ronny Jackson, the former White House physician to Presidents Obama and Trump is speaking out about his impression of Joe Biden's physical and mental fitness for office.

"'The best way I can describe every time I see him is that he's just lost,' Jackson said.

"'I won't make any particular diagnosis about dementia ... but what I will say is that something is not right,' continued the doctor, who just won a GOP congressional primary in Texas.

"Asked whether he's comfortable with the idea of Biden assuming the top executive position in the country, Jackson said, 'I'm not.'

"Jackson stresses that he hasn't personally reviewed Biden's medical records, but has witnessed the changes to the former vice president up-close, over time."

Democrats know this.

Their contempt for America and Americans is such that they believe we should be governed by a meat puppet.

ITEM 7: CNBC reported, "The S&P 500 rose to an all-time high on Tuesday, capping off its incredible recovery from the coronavirus-induced sell-off that knocked it off its previous record back in February.

The broader market index climbed 0.2% to 3,389.78, a record close. It also notched an intraday all-time high, reaching 3,395.06 earlier in the day. The S&P 500′s move into record territory came after the index flirted with its all-time closing high for more than a week. It also confirms the start of a new bull market."

Shortest bear market ever.

Quickest recovery, too.

Year-to-date the S&P 500 is up 4.7%.

The economy will follow.

ITEM 8: CNBC reported, "U.S. homebuilding picked up for a third straight month in July in the latest sign the housing sector is emerging as one of the few areas of strength in an economy suffering a record slowdown because of the covid-19 pandemic.

"Housing starts increased by 22.6% — far more than expected — to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.496 million units last month, the Commerce Department said on Tuesday. Data for June was revised up to a 1.22 million-unit pace from the previously reported 1.186 million.."

We are even seeing new home construction in West Virginia.

ITEM 9:  Hey, remember when General Powell was an Uncle Tom?
Now he is Colin X.

ITEM 10: William A. Jacobson reported, "The Democratic National Convention is authentic. So authentic that Elizabeth Warren was one of the featured speakers at the DNC Native American Caucus today."

Really.

Once again, we live in a world beyond parody.

ITEM 11: Black intellectuals now oppose those who supported the 13th Amendment.
Black men got the vote 55 years before women did. If I were a woman when that happened, I would be pissed as well.

Susan B. Anthony's opposition to abortion is what really has these anti-American communists enraged.

ITEM 12: The South China Morning Post reported, "Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor and other officials sanctioned by the US government over a national security law are clinging to the premise that the measures will be harmless because they do not have American bank accounts or own property in the United States.

"But, the long reach of the American government - and the dominance of the US dollar as a trade currency - could throw up an array of unexpected barriers for so-called specially designated nationals (SDNs), according to former American officials and compliance lawyers.

"Sanctioned individuals -- and in some cases their close family members -- could find overseas bank accounts closed, bank-issued credit cards cancelled and insurance coverage put on hold by financial institutions wary of running afoul of US regulators and losing access to the American financial system, compliance officials said.

"Transactions with US companies, including ordering from American websites such as Amazon.com, are likely to be blocked and even booking a staycation at a US-owned hotel chain could prove difficult, if not impossible, depending on how the company's foreign subsidiaries are structured, said Julia Friedlander, deputy director of the Atlantic Council, a Washington think tank."

Good.

Why should the big shots in Red China enjoy a life their citizens do not?

ITEM 13: The mobs tear up 1,500 buildings. Meh.

They destroy a pinata of Minneapolis police union chief Bob Kroll. Meh.

They do the same to his wife, a reporter. Journalists finally object.
This is how it works: Report the truth. If you don't, these thugs will go out of control and eventually attack you.

ITEM 14: Pew Research Center reported, "With less than three months until Election Day, Biden has an advantage over Trump in voter preferences: 53% of registered voters say if the election were held today they would vote for Biden or lean toward voting for him, while 45% support or lean toward voting for Trump."

Registered voters. Not likely voters,

The story also said, "At this point, Biden has a broader base of support among voters, while Trump’s support is much stronger. Two-thirds of Trump’s supporters (66%) say they support him strongly, compared with fewer than half (46%) of Biden’s supporters."

If only the strong supporters vote, President Trump wins by 10 points, which would be a landslide.

One poll does not an election make, but if you are discouraged, don't be.

ITEM 15: MSN reported, "Citibank has a big problem: It mistakenly wired roughly $175 million to Brigade Capital Management, and the hedge fund hasn't returned the money.

"The US banking giant filed a lawsuit Monday in the Southern District of New York, seeking the return of funds that it said were transferred in an operational mistake. Citibank said in court documents that it meant to send Brigade Capital around $1.5 million in interest payments on a loan the hedge fund made to troubled cosmetics company Revlon.

"Instead, it wired roughly 100 times that amount of its own funds to the hedge fund."

Finders keepers, losers plaintiffs.

ITEM 16: Income inequality rears its well-coiffed head.
Here's an idea. If male privilege and white privilege exist, then just identify as a man and tell everyone you are white.

Problem solved.

ITEM 17: Former federal prosecutor Andy McCarthy wrote, "It is called the allocution. It is the most important part of a guilty plea in federal court. It comes — if it comes — when the judge personally addresses the accused, who has been placed under oath, and asks him to explain in his own words how and why he is guilty of the crime charged.

"Is Kevin Clinesmith willing to allocute? Is he willing to admit without reservation that he deceived his FBI colleagues and a federal court? The lack of clear answers to those questions is almost certainly the sticking point — the reason why, to this moment, there is only a false-statement charge against the former Bureau lawyer, not a false-statement guilty plea.

"When it comes time to allocute, the court must ensure that the accused acknowledges committing the acts alleged and, just as significantly, doing so with the level of criminal intent prescribed in the relevant penal statute — the mens rea of the crime. If the accused does not admit guilt, and evince that he is doing so voluntarily and in full awareness of the possible consequences, then the judge should not accept the guilty plea."

Judge James E. Boasberg will decide whether to accept the plea bargan.

Obama appointed him.

The hearing by telephone is this afternoon.

The fan should expect some incoming if the Obama judge does what I think he will do.

ITEM 18: Deadline reported, "The first night of the Democratic National Convention drew about 25% fewer viewers across six networks than in 2016, according to early numbers from Nielsen Media Research.

"The convention drew 18.7 million viewers in the 10 PM ET to 11:15 PM ET timeframe, when the most networks were carrying the convention proceedings, highlighted by a speech by former First Lady Michelle Obama. That compares to about 25 million who watched ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox News, MSNBC and CNN in the same time period four years ago. The ratings information is from Nielsen Media and was released by Fox News and CNN."

Who spoke on the first night in 2016?

Michelle Obama.

ITEM 19Steven Nelson wrote, "There was one glaring omission from Michelle Obama’s 20-minute Democratic National Convention speech Monday night — Kamala Harris.

"That’s because the former first lady recorded her rousing speech before Joe Biden selected Sen. Harris of California as his running mate."

He never explained why Obama recorded the speech a week or so before the convention. Maybe she did not want her enthusiasm for Harris (who is the candidate most like Obama in appearance and sloth) overshadowing her official support of Basement Biden.

I predicted last summer Democrats would nominate Harris for president based on tokenism and her Mini Michelle act. When Harris dropped out, I should have finally bet on her with money because she may be at the top of the ticket in a couple of months.

The song says love is strange. So is politics.

  1. Brian Williams is a serial liar, Chuck. Mike Barnicle was a repeat fabulist and plagiarist. Joy Reid wrote homophobic and antisemitic tweets, and then lied about it. Get the picture? Why can't you be more like them? More than you already are, that is.

  2. #2 - FDA has always treated the US population like kids. I can walk into a pharmacy over in Europe and get antibiotics if I need them. Here I have to go to doctor, and jump through hoops. Also, with everything, drug advertising makes it seem like take a pill and everything is better and our now instant gratification society now believes it to their determent.

#17 "If the accused does not admit guilt, and evince that he is doing so voluntarily and in full awareness of the possible consequences, then the judge should not accept the guilty plea." Soooo makes you wonder how many precedents the Flynn judge broke. The judge could tell Flynn's plea was not "voluntary" but accepted anyway. And now is running him into the ground even after the case was requested to be dismissed.

Democrats always - Rules for me, and rules for everyone else.

#12 / #16. Amazing the US is so raciest the rest of the world wants to come here and live. Why would anyone deliberately go to a place where they would be mistreated?

You can bet any amount of money, and win, that the health care industry lobbied for those rules, to keep control. The FDA is like any alphabet agency, which is run by K Street. See Obumblecare, coupled with Auntie Nan's statement of "we have to pass it to see what's in it.", if you don't believe this. It shows how far away from representative government the individual citizen in the country is.

"Why would anyone deliberately go to a place where they would be mistreated?"

Because the left has nothing left to run on, so they make up new, non existing boogie men to scare their sheeple into voting.

    5. Once I heard that a common side-effect of a lot of the new drugs is "death", I got a lot less interested in them.

I have a good doctor who is up-to-date. If he says take the stuff, OK. If not, not. Advertise to me all you want, but I won't watch any of it. I'll just skip right past them.

With all the things Joe will do when elected, I just think, it's a shame that such a hero came along this late in life. He could have done so much more if only he had been elevated to national politics earlier in life. Oh well

It will be interesting to see how the master of reality tv Handles the republican convention. I am looking forward to it.

  14. The one glaring omission from the Democrat convention is any mention of the violence occurring in our cities, most of which are governed by Democrats. They are thus conceding the issue of public safety, so fundamental to our daily lives, to Trump and the Republicans. They probably feel that they can compensate for this concession with voting fraud.

Grooming is more than for peodos to ply their trades.

Since the early 60's the Deep State has been grooming all children and low I.Q. people to believe what have been presented to them as Truth. It is thinking people who now see it is all lies.

CABAL educators, scientists, corporations, et.al. have been grooming up until this moment in time where the CABAL have been forced out into the open. It is so much larger than you ever imagined. Those who went along were rewarded into high paying positions not on Merit but on who followed the CABAL rules. A REVEAL is now coming out due to the GOD EMPEROR Donald Trump. Stay the course because their punishment is coming soon.
