Highlights of the News

July is Patriot Month. Today is Bastille Day, so cheers to all the patriots in France, which apparently now is down to Brigitte Bardot.

ITEM 1: CBS reported, "A 1-year-old boy was shot to death overnight near a playground in Brooklyn.

"Police said the child was sitting in a stroller with a group of people having a barbecue when gunfire erupted.

"The boy was identified as 1-year-old Davell Gardner Jr."

Residents asked when does this end.

I don't know.

But I do know when it began: when New Yorkers re-elected de Blasio as mayor. In 2001, they had America's Mayor. Now they have America's Nightmare.

De Blasio painted Black Lives Matter in the street in front of Trump Tower.

Someone should add "except in strollers."

ITEM 2: The Daily Caller reported, "Reddit banned a subreddit dedicated to tracking alleged hate crime hoaxes on the same day the platform removed a subreddit in June devoted to President Donald Trump.

"Reddit users who keep tabs on potential hate crime hoaxes via the popular subreddit are met with a label notifying them that 'r/hatecrimehoaxes has been banned from Reddit.' The page also notes that the page was banned for 'violating Reddit’s rule against promoting hate.'"

Hoax hate crimes promote hatred and racism.

We know which side Reddit is on.

Now for the latest of these racist, hateful hoaxes.
No penalty, expect more.

ITEM 3: Fox reported, "State and local governments scrambling to raise money during the economic crisis caused by the corona virus pandemic are looking to increased property taxes -- as well as wealth taxes and more -- to fill budget holes.

"The proposals come as officials are trying to strike a balance. Historic job losses caused by lockdowns fueled the downturn that's put the squeeze on city and state budgets. Washington sought to offset this with stimulus payments, additional unemployment benefits, business grants and more. Any push to raise taxes too dramatically could hurt the economy even more."

Laying people off never entered the picture.

Unemployment is for the peons, not civil service.

ITEM 4: Just the News reported, "Voters prefer to make their own choices about dining in restaurants without government-approved corona virus protocols, rather than having the government step in and shutter those eateries, according to a new Just the News Daily Poll with Scott Rasmussen.

"If a restaurant re-opens without government approved social-distancing protocols, 38% of voters say the government should take away their business license and close the business, the poll found. However, 47% say the government should allow individuals to decide for themselves whether they are comfortable going to that restaurant."

It is called freedom.

Others died for it.

What makes us so special that we shouldn't?

ITEM 5: United Press International reported, "Two police officers in McAllen, Texas, died responding to a domestic disturbance call and the suspect killed himself, police said.

"Edelmiro Garza, 45, who was with the police department for eight years, and Ismael Chavez, 39, an officer for more than two years with the agency, died Saturday afternoon, police Chief Victor Rodriguez said at a news conference later Saturday night in McAllen, which is along the Mexican border. The two officers were pronounced dead at a local hospital."

Pray for their families.

Domestic disturbance calls kill police officers more than any other emergency.

ITEM 6Via Hot Air, Fox reported, "A law enforcement source told FOX10 News that Daphne officers were refused service late Tuesday night by several employees at the Five Guys restaurant at the Jubilee Square shopping center."

Management later said, "Five Guys and the Daphne, AL franchise want to thank the Daphne Police Department for their support in working together toward a resolution. The actions the Daphne, AL franchise have taken include termination and suspension of the employees involved. The store has temporarily closed for further education and customer service training with a representative from the Daphne Police Department and will reopen at 4 PM today, July 10th. As we uphold our commitment to fair, respectful, and equal treatment for all customers, please know that the actions and sentiments of a few employees in Daphne, AL do not represent Five Guys or the local franchisee."

Maybe the burger boys can get new jobs answering domestic disturbance calls in Texas.

ITEM 7: ABC reported, "Education Secretary Betsy DeVos faced backlash Monday for demanding that schools reopen for full-time in-person instruction in the fall -- even in places where the virus is surging in the American South and West and without offering a specific plan on how to do so safely -- and doubling down on a threat to cut funding to schools that don't."

DeVos said, "American investment in education is a promise to students and their families. If schools aren't going to reopen and not fulfill that promise, they shouldn't get the funds, and give it to the families to decide to go to a school that is going to meet that promise."

No school, no money.

We should do that with property taxes as well.

ITEM 8Fox reported, "A federal judge on Monday ordered the government to explain the scope of President Trump’s commutation of longtime GOP operative Roger Stone, including whether the move only involved the sentence of incarceration, or also the period of supervised release.

U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson ordered the government to provide the court by Tuesday, July 14, 'a copy of the Executive Order commuting the defendant’s sentence and to address the question of the scope of the commutation, in particular, whether it involves the sentence of incarceration alone or also the period of supervised release.'"

Obama judge.

She gives judge a bad name.

ITEM 9: The New York Times interviewed director Oliver Stone.

STONE: "The problem is in Hollywood. It’s just so expensive — the marketing. Everything has become too fragile, too sensitive. Hollywood now — you can’t make a film without a Covid adviser. You can’t make a film without a sensitivity counselor. It’s ridiculous.

TIMES: "Why is that ridiculous?"

STONE: "The Academy changes its mind every five, 10, two months about what it’s trying to keep up with. It’s politically correct [expletive], and it’s not a world I’m anxious to run out into. I’ve never seen it quite mad like this. It’s like an Alice in Wonderland tea party."

In other words, Hollywood perfectly mirrors politics in America in 2020.

ITEM 10Breitbart News reported, "After being criticized for posting a number of anti-Semitic messages on Instagram, Philadelphia Eagles player DeSean Jackson has accepted an invitation from a Holocaust survivor to visit former Nazi concentration camp, Auschwitz.

"The Eagles wide receiver was called on the carpet last Monday evening for having posted anti-Jewish quotes he thought were made by Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, as well as messages from notorious anti-Semite Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.

"After nearly five days, his team finally decided to punish him with a fine, but no other actions were taken, according to reports. Jackson apologized for the posts and has promised to donate money to Jewish causes."

Maybe some good will come out of this.

ITEM 11: Washington Post reported, "The Texas Rangers' team name must go."

Aren't the White Sox a slur on Polish descendants?

ITEM 12: PJ Media reported, "Following the George Floyd protests which devolved into deadly riots that destroyed black lives, black livelihoods, and black monuments, violent crime sparked in New York City last month. The Big Apple experienced a 130% increase in the number of shootings across the city between June 1 and June 30. Murders, burglaries, and auto thefts also shot up. Yet last week, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) suggested this violent crime was a reaction to the economic downturn due to corona virus, rather than an outgrowth of the riots or the calls to defund and abolish police departments."

Actually, ending bail and abandoning the Broken Windows approach to crime laid the groundwork for this Summer of Evil.

Meanwhile, in Washington, Batman meets with the nation's Commissioners Gordon.
This election really is about saving civilization.

AOC is the soul of her party. Donald Trump is the soul of America.

ITEM 13: What does the left do when medical experts give them advice and guidance they don't like?
They ignore it.

ITEM 14: Sign of the times.
I laugh because suddenly a bunch of Anglo conservatives are cooking Mexican and Cuban food tonight.

ITEM 15: How to find NASCAR fans a new sport.
Because team names honor the group. Only a dirty, stinking communist would object.

ITEM 16: Just a reminder that the world is not going to pot.
Siena is our future.

FINALLY, the Democrat mayors of America cannot keep their streets free of poop, hypodermic needles, trash, or tramps.

But by golly, they can paint BLACK LIVES MATTER on their streets.

  1. #1 Fastest way to alter a BLACK LIVES MATTER mural writ large on a city street is to add a question mark. Fast. Easy. Brings into focus that unless it advances the narrative, black lives don't seem to matter much at all.

    1. SR: nice. Better than my suggestion which was to add an O before LIVES so that it reads "BLACK OLIVES MATTER." (referring, of course, to a signature vinaigrette Italian salad.)

    2. Deep state dems are planning a takeover of America to overthrow the government for a new world order
Do this today ,.,.,.,,, ,Look at this video ASAP!!!

    3. It would be more honest to paint it in front of the burned down apartments and businesses instead of in front of the White House and Trump's hotel.

  2. Item #5. It's probably best to keep that factoid about domestic disturbance calls from the applicants looking to be the social workers who will be responding to those in Minneapolis.

Item #15: Don't real Rednecks wear a coonskin cap and not feathers? Asking for a friend.

FINALLY: And then prosecute to the fullest extent of the law any racist "VANDALS" who paint over BLM while cheering on those tearing down statues and releasing real criminals.

    1. Do you think it's a good idea to be touting coonskins?

    2. Cap? I think it fell off while I was fishing... Drunk.

    3. Coonskin caps was mentioned with tongue firmly planted in cheek. Much like the suggestion of "rednecks".

  3. President Trump's reply should go something like this:
Sure judge, I'll explain why I commuted the sentence of a man who got entrapped into a process crime for perjury just as soon as you get my predecessor to explain why he pardoned almost two thousand criminals including a mental defefective who passed government secrets to wikileaks.
Until then, you can pack sand.

  4. 5 - stories like this really hurt. Especially during times like these where the left has no respect for the job police have and the dangerS they face.

7 - another excellent cabinet member.

    9 - when you’ve lost Oliver Stone......

16 - so is Rodney Smith Jr.

    1. And the leftist goons savage Officer Chavez's daughter for daring to post a tribute to her dad -

    2. Attacking the fallen officer's daughter is horrendous behavior.
How can we get that across to those who do so?

    3. It would probably involve firearms.

    4. 16 - so is Rodney Smith Jr.

I so agree. He built a plan to engage and help kids from the ground up, and seems to work tremendously hard to further it. I followed him on Facebook quite a while back, and enjoy every one of his posts.

    5. "Or perhaps a meat cleaver. Why invite the anti-gun crowd into it?

  5. 10. The team find will only reinforce the idea of Jewish cotrol. Those who you can't criticize are really in power. Make free speech truly free.

    1. What's your problem? Nobody is stopping you from making an ass of yourself.

  6. Yesterday my county opened barber shops.
Tomorrow the state authorities will close them again.

Maybe I can (eventually) get a mullet cut. And become a Rednecks fan.

  7. BLM is continuing Margret Sanger's work, taking out little black kids the planned parenthood missed, kinda like the new slave catchers of the 21st century.
    bad anaon

  8. This comment has been removed by the author.

  9. On Roger Stone: The lefties had to know that President Trump would almost certainly pardon or commute. So why did they prosecute? Stone has more notoriety now than ever.

    1. It has been pointed out, but is not well understood that commuting the sentence, rather than a pardon, allows the appeals process to continue. We can still hope that the whole charade blows up in their faces.

    2. Not worth the risk. A successful appeal would return the matter to Judge Jackson's snake pit; zero chance of a fair retrial. Stone's interview on Fox's Hannity last night laid the risk out in detail.

  10. Goya is a Puerto Rican company making Puerto Rican food that mexicans and cubans like.

They have also branched out into som mexican style foods. Mostly made in puerto rico

    John Henry

    1. Good stuff. An old consultant friend, an adder of value and rock-solid patriot, had a simple sign in his cubicle that said “GOYA.” It stood for Get Off Your Ass. So I ask again: WHO’S PAYING THE PROTESTERS?

RICO their asses and get on with it.

  11. Right now, teachers and federal government workers occupy the same lowly status in my mind; i.e. getting paid and not working. When Mr. T wins 50-0 in November, expect significant cuts to both sectors.

  12. I shouldn't need to add this but there may be some who don't know

Goya is mainly made in puerto rico USA by natural born US citizens

    John Henry

  13. Tell the teachers that if classes are streamed 75% layoffs could occur. See how quickly their arguments will 180.

  14. #1, you mess with BLM painting, you will get charged with hate crime. That is way more important than kids lives.

  15. #5, agree with above, this problem will go away once they have social workers answer domestic violence calls or maybe the politicians could ride along to ensure tranquility.
#12, AOC statement is again ludicrous. It they wanted food would they burn the place down, if they wanted food why are they carrying out TV's? Didn't see any videos of folk carrying food home. Such crap

  16. "Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez suggested this violent crime was a reaction to the economic downturn due to corona virus."

But no similar crime wave during the Great Recession.

    Good thinking there, AOC!

  17. #11. The sjw's think the name is Whites suck, so no problems.

  18. Item 3 -Budgets
"Laying people off never entered the picture.

Unemployment is for the peons, not civil service."

Michigan state "non-critical" employees are only allowed to work 32 hours each week. They then get a day ($72) of unemployment and the $600 fed money, ON TOP OF 32 hours of regular pay, with no interruption of benefits or seniority. They are also unionized. Coincidence?
Fraud and corruption at the governor level.

    1. And, as with blended learning school plans (some days in school, some days online at home), it is critical to determine what day or days of the week the virus will not be present.

  19. How many lawns were as big as the one the picture was taken in? That's a lot of push mowing!

  20. 7. What, masks don't work?

    12. She's also the brains of the Democrats.

    16. An achievement worth celebrating.

  21. #7) There are 4 European studies that show children don't even give it to their parents. A relative who is a teacher believes in our county of 15,000 students 25 will die if we open the schools. More media hype causing panicking.

If we close them The American Center for Law & Justice @ is offering free legal assistance for parents to obtain their tax money in some form back if the schools will not reopen. The more parents involved the better. They need clients. The offer from the ACLJ was on the FNCs "The Next Revolution" Sunday night 7/12/20 if you want to watch the interview with Jay Sekulow, ACLJ Chief Counsel.

  22. DeBlasio is America's Nightmayor
