Durham covers up Obamagate

14 months ago, Bill Barr appointed John Durham to investigate Barack Hussein Obama's use of our national intelligence apparatus to spy on Donald John Trump, a political opponent.

Conservatives called him Bull Durham apparently because he has a nice goatee and glowers menacingly.

But Bull Durham is really Bull Shit Durham. He has yet to indict anyone, despite ample evidence that FBI agents lied 17 times to get the secret permission of Judge Rosemary Collyer to spy on The Donald.

I get that these things take time, but I also get that you get the little guys first and work your way up.

Where are the little guys?

But Durham's job is to find crime and cover it up. He did that for Bush. He did that for Obama. He is doing that again.

John Solomon of Just the News reported, "New Steele evidence strengthens Durham prosecution as frustration over inaction grows. A British court decision unmasks new evidence of FBI abuses in the Russia collusion probe."

His is a nice report about the fake Russian Dossier.

Solomon reported, "It also introduced new incontrovertible evidence that bolsters Attorney General William Barr's and U.S. Attorney John Durham’s probe into whether the FBI engaged in misconduct and criminally deceived the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to win permission to spy on the Trump campaign.

"Buried in Justice Mark Warby’s ruling were several new pieces of evidence that answer long lingering questions about just what the FBI knew, and when it knew it.

"For instance, Congressional Republicans have long questioned when exactly the FBI knew that Steele’s dossier was a product ordered up for the Hillary Clinton campaign and Democratic Party. After all, the bureau never revealed the connection to the FISA court despite its central relevance to the motives of the dossier.

"Warby’s lengthy ruling unearthed a gem of new evidence to answer the question: Steele kept his own notes of what he told FBI agents the first time he met them on July 5, 2016 in London to discuss his anti-Trump Russia research."

***

The evidence is there, and it has been there for a long time. From the get-go we knew the Russian Dossier (since renamed Steele Dossier by our Fake News press) was as fake as Hillary's laugh.

Durham's job is to ignore the evidence.

I say this based on his history. He is a career federal prosecutor which means he is a friend of the FBI which means he is the last person we should have prosecuting the FBI. I mean, why not just assign the case to Jimmy the Weasel Comey?

To be sure, he convicted retired FBI agent John J. Connolly Jr. for racketeering. Connolly protected the gangster Whitey Bulger whose brother was a Democrat state legislative leader in Massachusetts. This is why I call it Mafiachusetts. West Virginia has a history of corruption. The feds nailed a governor, state Senate president and House speaker one year. But in Massachusetts there are corpses in Boston Bay. Oh they love that dirty water.

Durham got no one higher than an FBI agent. A second agent, Paul Rico, died before his trial. This made it look as if they were two rogue agents paid off to protect the brother of a top Democrat state official who just happened to be the No. 1 gangster in Massachusetts.

Just two bad apples in a barrel of solid, upstanding G-Men.

Riiiiiiiiight.

Durham's next political case was in the last year of Bush 43's presidency when he investigated the destruction of CIA videotapes of detainee interrogation.

No indictments.

Obama had him investigate the CIA's use of enhanced interrogation techniques of Gitmo detainees.

No indictments.

Now this.

No indictments.

Well, at least he is consistent.

But hey, lecture me on how impatient I am. Tell me how I do not understand how these things work. Tell me there will be justice -- someday. Tell me I just got to have faith.

4 years ago the FBI looked into Hillary's 33,000 emails to Red China (a cc of every email she sent went to a trucking company in Red China). The FBI granted immunity from prosecution for everyone and helped destroy the evidence. The cover story was that this was a home-brewed server in her bathroom. Sure, a multi-millionaire engaged in a criminal enterprise like this didn't have top equipment and a tech staff.

Jimmy the Weasel Comey then told the nation that since she didn't mean to work for Red China as secretary of state, he would not indict.

Maybe I should change his nickname to Jimmy the Durham Comey.

A fish rots from the head. So does the FBI. Durham is part of it, and while Bill Barr may be cool at sipping water, he is in on the scam too.

  3. Unfortunately for the country you are 100% correct, Don. First he said the investigation would wrap up in the spring, then AG Barr said things might happen in early summer. Now he's just letting Durham drag this out until prosecutions would affect the election and it'll be buried after a minor "report" is issued. Sad!

On a sadder note, we can all watch as the federal prosecutors tanks all the cases in various cities where Antifa protesters have actually been arrested. Our entire justice system is completely and utterly corrupt.

    1. Yea, those who attack businesses in DC when Trump was sworn in had their cases dropped. So they could take more Soros money and fan out across the US for more attacks on our institutions and businesses. As with criminals in NY, justice has a revolving door policy.

Yup, just another participant in the ongoing coup. And it looks like they have the military behind them as well, including today's story about the Army and MAGA. So when do they pull the trigger on an actual coup and surround the White House with tanks? Will the rank and file obey these orders? If they don't succeed in stealing the election, we may see this attempt within a few days afterwards....

  9. Its is becoming clearer by the day we have been "Hubered" again. Some supposedly quiet, professional, no nonsense, prosecutor secretly gathering evidence and ready to spring INDICTMENTS just you wait, oh boy! Its like repeatedly getting suckered into another snipe hunt for the 3rd time. How stupid do they think we are? And why do the powers that be think this whitewash will happen with impunity? They are having a match fight in a pool of gasoline.

These f-ing idiot so-called republicans refuse to realize the only reason they were (re)elected was not because of what they wanted. It was because of what Trump wanted. We wanted them to back Trump and they've failed miserably.
      And the one thing.....
      the ONE THING....

  10. I am going to wait and see if the Ghislaine Maxwell investigation goes anywhere. Third Glee star dead. Various other celebrity deaths. The Trump administration has been going after molesters.

    How are they related?

If the FBI swamp is as deep and broad as the events inficate, Durham may have been the price that was paid to protect the children.

  11. Yesterday, I said a favorite excuse of Republicans in power is, "These things are complicated and take time to investigate," or some variation of that. I think Deplorable (above here) may be right. If Trump gets re-elected, the Deep State will be desperate and fighting for its life. Kinda' like we're doing right now. This is going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

If troops are ordered to surround some conservative stronghold, they risk getting shot in the back by the rest of the country.

I think Trump should sack the entire fbi (F-ing Bunch of Idiots) and doj (Dept. Of Jerkoffs) and rebuild them from scratch.
And from the state of things, it looks like he has a bumpercrop of disgruntled ex-police officers to choose from.

I really don't agree with characterizing Durham as BS.

Granted it may feel like bringing a knife to a gun fight. But in reality Law Enforcement deals with evidence. Intelligence deals with indicators.

The Justice Dept should always be an evidence based Law Enforcement organization. Their ultimate aim should always be public court evidence proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

Justice should never be involved in rumors, hearsay or any other low quality evidence of misconduct.

Unfortunately the FBI acted more like an Intelligence org than a Law Enforcement org during the Trump wiretapping. Dealing more in rumors and innuendo than provable facts and evidence.

AND this FBI used the powers of the state intelligence apparatus to spy on US citizens which is a violation of civil rights.

The Safeguard against such misbehavior is the sworn attestation of 4 signatories on the FISA request that everything was on the up and up.

If is interesting that I do believe that all of the FISA requests were signed by trained lawyers. Lawyers who would all know how to "weasel out" of any questions should their duplicity be uncovered.

The system is broken it has been proven by history that sworn statements to a Federal Court of veracity and candor are NOT ENOUGH to safeguard our Constitutional Rights.

OR certain people in charge of the Justice Dept can put on their Big Boy pants and start taking said FOUR SWORN PEOPLE to court for violating Trump and Trump's advisors Civil Rights.

There are sizable Civilian Penalties for violation of a US Citizen's Civil Rights. Even if there is no "criminal" case there would easily be a very large body of evidence demonstrating a "preponderance of the evidence" case.

Such penalties are meaningless when DOJ won't enforce the law, or worse, there is enforcement against conservatives (e.g. Flynn), and none against the deep state (Clinton, Comey, Obama, Rice, Brennan, Strzok, etc.) It appears Barr, Durham, Huber, etc. are just putting on a show to appease President Trump and the deplorables, with no intent to do anything other than run out the clock. I'd like to be wrong.
