Highlights of the News

June is National Accordion Awareness Month. Please rise as Jackson Parodi plays our national anthem.

ITEM 1: Fox reported, "The governors from New York, Connecticut and New Jersey on Wednesday announced that individuals traveling to the tri-state area from states experiencing a surge in COVID-19 cases will be required to self-quarantine for 14 days.

"New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont and New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy in a virtual joint-press conference Wednesday announced a joint travel advisory, which will go into effect at midnight, that will require individuals traveling from states including Arkansas, Alabama, Arizona, South Carolina, Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Utah and Washington to quarantine for 14 days."

What Fox did not report is that Cuomo went nuts and threatened war when Rhode Island said it would quarantine escaping New Yorkers two months ago.

It is not what Fox and the rest report that is important: it is what they do not report.

ITEM 2: Bubba Wallace keeps maligning fans.
This came a few hours after he went on CNN and cried cover-up.

It is like he was sent to destroy NASCAR. Not that it needed much help in alienating fans as it seeks a national audience.

Why did the FBI investigate a garage door rope and ignore the 3-year-old whom hoodlums shot and killed in cold blood in Chicago last weekend?

John Nolte cataloged a decade's worth of Noose Hoaxes.

ITEM 3: Politico reported, "Robert O’Brien, President Trump’s national security adviser, equated Chinese President Xi Jinping to Soviet dictator Josef Stalin on Wednesday in an aggressive speech that lambasted China for what he described as a malevolent role in world affairs.

"'The Chinese Communist Party is Marxist-Leninist,' he said. 'The party General Secretary Xi Jinping sees himself as Josef Stalin’s successor.'

"O’Brien faulted both political parties for underestimating the threat from China for decades and not seeing that the Chinese government is aiming to remake the world in its image. American policymakers were wrong, he said, to assume that as China developed economically, it would eventually democratize and pursue liberalization. Instead, he argued that the opposite has occurred: China has only become more wedded to its communist ideology.

"'We could not have been more wrong — and this miscalculation was the greatest failure of American foreign policy since the 1930s,' he said."

I call it Red China.

I call him Chairman Xi.

Finally, someone in authority is saying it.

ITEM 4: The Washington Examiner reported, "Arizona leaders rained down praise on President Trump during a meeting by the U.S.-Mexico border Tuesday, touting how hundreds of miles of newly constructed barrier have boosted public safety and led to a decline in illegal crossings.

"'I worked on the road back in the early 2000s, and I understand firsthand the calls for service related to undocumented immigrants and how high those calls for service were,' Yuma, Arizona, Police Chief Susan Smith told Trump during the briefing. 'After the border enhancements were put in place, I can tell you we saw a marked decline in many of those calls associated with undocumented immigrants, such as load vehicles coming across with drugs and humans, human trafficking, stolen vehicles.'

"Yuma Mayor Doug Nicholls told Trump that if the 110 miles of new border barrier had not been installed along southwestern Arizona’s border with Mexico and the border crisis that unfolded last year happened today, the corona virus pandemic may have had a hugely negative impact on his city’s 97,000 residents."

Protecting our borders is the primary reason we have a government, and yet Americans reward with their votes people who oppose protecting the border.

ITEM 5: The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported, "Madison protesters tear down Capitol statues, attack state Senator from Milwaukee as fury erupts again."

1. They are not protesters. They are criminals.

2. Fury did not erupt. Criminals attacked.

Thank you, MJS copy desk, for showing in one headline why people hate the news media. It lies. Completely and relentlessly.

ITEM 6: Breitbart News reported, "Handwritten notes taken by former FBI agent Peter Strzok revealed that President Barack Obama directed the FBI to continue investigating Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Michael Flynn just weeks before he was to become President Trump’s national security adviser, in a meeting during which Vice President Joe Biden suggested that Flynn violated the Logan Act.

"Up until now, it had been unclear exactly how involved Obama was in the FBI investigation of Trump’s national security adviser.

"Strzok’s notes are believed to have been taken on January 4, 2017, the apparent date of a White House Oval Office meeting with Obama, Biden, FBI Director James Comey, Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, and National Security Adviser Susan Rice.

"The notes show, according to a court filing, that those officials discussed transcripts of Flynn’s private calls with Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak and how to proceed against Flynn.

"Obama himself directed that 'the right people' investigate Flynn."

The Russian Collusion hoax was an attempt to cover up Obama spying on President Donald John Trump.

Directed by Obama.

ITEM 7: The Wall Street Journal shelved its usual creeping-SJW editorials for an old-style return to sanity on Wednesday.

It wrote, "GOP governors have faced enormous media pressure to lock down their states in solidarity with Democrats, and some now are getting browbeaten to shut down again amid corona virus flare-ups. So it’s worth pointing out that states that didn’t lock down this spring kept the virus under control and experienced fewer deaths than most that did.

"A new analysis by The Sentinel, a Kansas nonprofit, compares the 42 states that shut down most of their economies with the eight that did not. The latter group includes mostly rural states with some small metropolitan areas: North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Wyoming and Utah. Private employment on average fell by 7.8% between May 2019 and May 2020 in these states while plunging 13.2% in the others."

And the editorial said, "Per-capita covid-19 fatalities in states that stayed open were on average about 75% lower than those that locked down. One reason is that deaths in most states, regardless of whether they locked down, have been concentrated in nursing home facilities and minority communities that have higher rates of underlying health conditions and multi-generational housing."

Good for the Journal.

The free states are largely rural, but so are the lockdown states. And some of the free states have urban centers. Oklahoma and Utah have cities large enough to support an NBA team.

This is a matter of trust. Republicans trust the people to do what is best for themselves. Democrats don't. And Democrats have a point in that anyone who is dumb enough to vote Democrat should not be trusted with anything sharper than a wad of gum.

ITEM 8: New York and Kentucky held primary elections on Tuesday.

We will know the results sometime next month.

ITEM 9: The New York Post reported, "Mayor Bill de Blasio is planning to install a massive Black Lives Matter mural right outside Trump Tower in Manhattan, the Post has learned.

"Plans for the mural — which will be painted in yellow block letters along Fifth Avenue between 56th and 57th streets — come as the city grapples with troubling surges in gun violence and illegal firework activity."

New York used to be bigger than this.

ITEM 10: Sean Ono Lennon 2024.
Imagine no PC. And no BLM too.

A suggested personnel hire for President Ono Lennon.
The son allows me to like the father again.

ITEM 11: We need more black police officers.

Also, white liberals can berate black police officers for being black.
Sometimes the unarmed liberal needs a swift kick in the Lulumons.

ITEM 12: USA Today reported, "A 'Godzilla' dust cloud from Sahara Desert is nearing US Gulf Coast."

Don't worry. I have seen this movie. The Murder Hornets give Godzilla covid-19.

ITEM 13: Varsity reported, "Cambridge University has tweeted in defense of its academics’ right to express opinions and has condemned personal attacks and abuse, after a petition to fire Dr Priyamvada Gopal, English academic and Churchill fellow, was launched yesterday, triggering a wave of online abuse towards the academic.

"The petition, ‘Fire Cambridge Professor for Racism,’ was launched on petition site change.org after Gopal tweeted, 'I’ll say it again. White Lives Don’t Matter. As white lives' and 'Abolish whiteness,' on Tuesday evening."

How brave of Cambridge for standing up for a racist who hates white people.

3 months ago, Cambridge rescinded a fellowship for Jordan Peterson because he opposes political correctness.

The message is clear: Academic freedom applies only people with whom the administration agrees.

ITEM 14: United Press International reported, "After weeks of ratcheting up tensions on the Korean Peninsula, North Korea took a step back on Wednesday with an announcement in state-run media that leader Kim Jong Un has called off military plans against South Korea.

"At a meeting chaired by Kim, military officials 'took stock of the prevailing situation and suspended the military action plans against the South,' state-run Korean Central News Agency reported Wednesday morning.

"The North Korean leader's appearance in state media was his first in almost two weeks and it marked the first time that he has publicly weighed in on the brewing conflict with South Korea."

He could have had it all if he had sided with President Trump.

Instead, Kim cast his lot with Chairman Xi. Never Bet Against Donald John Trump.

ITEM 15: The Washington Post reported, "Analysts say Barr is eroding Justice Department independence — without facing any real personal consequence."

The department is not an independent agency.

The department reports to Attorney General Bill Barr, who reports to President Trumop.

Who is dumber, the reporters or the editors at the Post?

ITEM 16: Blackface Kimmel is on the run.

Missy Crane reported, "Report: Disgraced Jimmy Kimmel Flees Los Angeles for Secret Location as Backlash Intensifies."

I wonder what color makeup he is wearing to disguise himself.

FINALLY, when 97% of scientists say the universe rotates around the Earth, that still does not make it so.
This guy spoke from experience.

  2. ITEM #2 As someone smarter than me put it, any length of rope is now just a "pre noose".

ITEM #5 Criminals indeed. If you saw the video clip of the giant female thug who came for that state Senator you couldn't conclude anything else.

ITEM #6 BO's part of the protected class. Won't matter that his fingerprints are found to be all over the smokin' gun.

ITEM #8 The one result we do is know is dimbulb AOC is gonna be with us for a long long time. Her primary wasn't even close.

ITEM #16 The color makeup Jimmy Kimmel wears is camo naturally. Mossy Oak probably.

    2. At this point, I would be satisfied if BHO is branded an unindicted co-conspirator, like Nixon was. What legal recourse would he have to challenge that designation without opening a can of worms?

    3. I call it the Chinese Slave Empire.

    I call him Emperor Xi.

The CCP does not embrace communist ideology anymore. Marx would surely never acknowledge their pseudo-capitalism as that. What they embrace is the autocracy of one party, and increasingly, one man rule. Everything else is just tactics.

    5. They are not 'criminals'. They are insurrectionists. They are engaged in the violent overthrow of the United States' Constitutional Republic. This is war.

The Constitution protects criminals. It does not protect enemies. Too bad only one side is fighting. Although, as Napoleon said, never interfere when you enemy is making a mistake.

    6. Speaking of enemies... Sedition... We used to know how to deal with that.
