ITEM 1: Bloomberg News reported, "The pandemic has devastated the diamond world. Jewelry stores closed their doors, India’s cutting and polishing artisans were forced to stay home and De Beers had to cancel its March sale because buyers couldn’t travel to view the merchandise.

"De Beers and Alrosa have moved to defend their market. The miners refused to cut prices, instead allowing buyers unprecedented freedom to renege on contracts to buy stones. They’ve also reduced production in an effort to control stock levels.

"Yet the diamonds keep piling up. The five biggest producers are probably sitting on excess inventories worth about $3.5 billion, according to Gemdax, a specialist advisory firm. The figure could reach $4.5 billion by the end of the year, or about one-third of annual rough-diamond production."

Jewelers may make out like bandits if the drop in demand leads to a drop in price, but the diamond mines may be able to hold out till the crisis passes.

Meanwhile, single people can do their part by getting engaged.

ITEM 2: John Hinderaker of Power Line reported, "The headline: 'Biden Warns Trump Will ‘Steal This Election,’ Predicts Military May Have To Remove Trump From White House.'"

Hinderaker is having none of this.

He wrote, "This is sheer fantasy. It is ridiculous to assert that President Trump may refuse to vacate the White House if he loses November’s election, and until now, no presidential candidate of either party would have floated such a scurrilous suggestion. But for the Democrats, there are no longer any boundaries. They are desperate for power and will devastate our country and destroy our democracy to get it."

What's President Trump going to do? Plant FBI spies in the Biden campaign? Wiretap him? Try to entrap Biden's people into fake perjury charges?

Donald John Trump is not Barack Hussein Obama.

ITEM 3: Ross Douthat of the New York Times reported, "The force transforming Western liberalism has many hashtags, many slogans, many admiring and pejorative descriptions, but no single name that everyone can recognize as a singular description of the thing itself. #MeToo and Black Lives Matter, social justice and intersectionality, anti-racism and the great awokening. Cultural Marxism and SJWs and identity politics. Political correctness, of course, and more obscurely left modernism and hyper-liberalism. Like the blind men feeling different portions of the elephant, the words all capture something, but the form of the animal remains a bit fuzzy, with a generally familiar shape but tusks and trunks where you don’t necessarily expect them."

By many names, Douthat means euphemisms.

The euphemisms reflect all the various tactics they deploy show desperation. Each fails because the masses are not suicidal.

The fact is the communists in America are on the run because Donald Trump (like Ronald Reagan) has shown the masses that capitalism works for them. Three numbers and a letter say it all: 401-k.

Covid-19 cannot stop capitalism, nor can black nationalism.

ITEM 4: Sundance reported, "Things are slowly devolving into violent confrontation in the nation of CHAZ Seattle. However, the violence is not with law enforcement; the violence is internal as Antifa factions within the occupy movement begin doing what they are famous for, being violent.

"An openly Christian man walks into the occupied zone within Seattle, the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone or CHAZ, to share the message of Jesus Christ. The Antifa elements immediately confronted the man, threw him to the ground and began choking him."

Fence it off. Make them stay there. Watch them devour their own.

I feel sorry for the Christian but even if he were Daniel, these lions would eat him.

ITEM 5: The Daily Mail reported, "A Chinese military officer has been arrested and charged with visa fraud while allegedly trying to steal US medical research to take back to Beijing, according to court records. Xin Wang, a scientific researcher and high-ranking military officer with China's People's Liberation Army (PLA), was detained at LA International Airport Sunday when he tried to board a flight to Tianjin, China, with stolen university research materials."

Hello?

Who thought letting Red Chinese military officials into our country was a good idea?

Revoke all student visas with Red China immediately if not sooner.

Odd that top universities have a maximum of Asian-Americans they will enroll and hire, but have no problem with Asian-Red Chinese students. Money talks and intelligent students walk because they don't want the other students shown to be unworthy of Harvard, et cetera.

ITEM 6: This next piece is genius, which is journalese for I totally agree with it.

John Hinderaker wrote, "The Democratic Party’s coordinated effort to stir up racial hatred and bully the rest of us into giving them back the White House under the guise of anti-racism can only be seen as the most recent stage of the Democrats’ attempt to nullify the 2016 election."

He sees it as a last desperate gambit. Like I said, genius.

ITEM 7: Reuters reported, "The U.S. embassy in Seoul draped a huge Black Lives Matter banner on its mission building and tweeted a picture of it in support of an anti-racism campaign across America."

Recall the entire embassy staff for this sedition.

How dare they blaspheme America overseas as a racist country! We are the least racist country in the world. We outlawed racism in 1964. We have systemic anti-racism.

The American embassy is now the most anti-American spot in the Republic of Korea.

ITEM 8: The New York Times reported, "A Reckoning at Condé Nast. 'It’s hard to be a person of color at this company,' a staff member said. In response to an uprising, Anna Wintour and the chief executive, Roger Lynch, offered apologies."

The piece said, "Sohla El-Waylly, who was a regular guest on the show, said her addition to Gourmet Makes had been cynically motivated. 'They just want me there to play the part to make it look like they have people of color on staff,' she said.

"She said she was not paid for her appearances, as her white counterparts were. Condé Nast disputed that and said Ms. El-Waylly’s salary covered her video appearances."

I did not say America had no racism, but most of it is confined to the elitists in the media.

ITEM 9: The Associated Press reported, "Mayfield 'absolutely' will kneel during national anthem."

I am done with Baker Mayfield. He is a coward.

If the NFL cannot respect the national anthem, then ban them from playing it.

ITEM 10: Jim Treacher reported, "Trayvon's Mom, Sybrina Fulton: 'I Think We Need More Police.'"

This is part of her campaign to be elected  to the District 1 seat of the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners.

Antifa tried to kill 9 Republican congressmen that day.

ITEM 12: Fox reported, "Former CNN anchor Soledad O'Brien made stunning claims on Saturday that a network exec once told her she could only have the right kind of black guests on her show.

"Reacting to the controversy that has rocked ABC News over the weekend, O'Brien reflected on her time at CNN and indicated that a network executive discouraged her to sit down with black radio host Roland Martin.

"'This is an interesting read. Reminds me of the CNN exec who told me: 'Roland Martin isn’t the ‘right kind of’ Black person.' She didn’t want me to book him on my show. L,' O'Brien tweeted."

CNN may be the last bastion of racism in Atlanta.

ITEM 13:  Fox reported, "Los Angeles Times executive editor Norman Pearlstine claimed that using the word looting in relation to the unrest that has taken place during the George Floyd protests has a 'racist connotation.'"

Another elitist white man who thinks only black people loot.

ITEM 15: United Press International reported, "U.S. officials on Sunday encouraged the use of face coverings and observing social distancing procedures as some expressed concern about potential corona virus spread during a rally for President Donald Trump scheduled to take place on Saturday.

"Trump is set to hold his first rally since the onset of shutdowns to prevent the spread of covid-19 in March at the Bank of Oklahoma Center in Tulsa, Okla., on Saturday.

"The Bank of Oklahoma has a capacity of 20,000 people but Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale tweeted Sunday that 800,000 people have signed up to attend the event. Attendees who signed up to attend were required to sign a waiver stating the Trump campaign is not liable if they become ill."

Health bullies.

They are too scared to go after the rioters and looters but they will go after peaceful, law-abiding citizens who want to rally.

Those "U.S. officials" stink. The right to peacefully assemble is guaranteed in the Constitution.

Biden also did not acknowledge the Army's Birthday, also on Sunday. President Trump did.

But some Democrats did remember one June 14 event.



ITEM 17: The New York Post reported, "Activists in Britain are demanding the removal of a statue of Mahatma Gandhi in the city of Leicester. A petition to remove the Indian independence leader, which calls him out for 'well-documented anti-black racism,' has nearly 5,000 signatures, the BBC reported.

"Though he is most remembered for leading his people in nonviolent resistance against British colonialism, Gandhi also held publicly critical opinions of black Africans during his stint living in South Africa in the late 19th century."

These same fools someday will tear down a statue to George Floyd.

ITEM 18: Willliam Jacobson of Legal Insurrection reported, "There is an effort underway to get me fired at Cornell Law School, where I’ve worked since November 2007, or if not fired, at least denounced publicly by the school.

"Ever since I started Legal Insurrection in October 2008, it’s been an awkward relationship given the overwhelmingly liberal faculty and atmosphere. Living as a conservative on a liberal campus is like being the mouse waiting for the cat to pounce."

ITEM 19: Fox reported, "Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., once again proved her fundraising prowess by raising $2.4 million in just two months as she kicks up her campaign operation before her June 23 primary election, according to federal campaign finance reports she filed this week.

"Her April and May cash haul brings the total raised for her reelection bid to more than $10.5 million, making the freshman rep among the best fundraisers for the Democrats, along with House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., federal elections records show."

She's the soul of the soulless Democrat Party.

Schiff's money likely comes from all those NSA and CIA guys he provides cover for.

ITEM 20: Fredo's dumber brother is stuck in April.

We have received 25,000 complaints of reopening violations.

Bars or restaurants that violate the law can lose their liquor license.

People with open containers in the street can be fined.

Police & protesters not wearing masks can be fined.

Local gov't must enforce the law.

Local governments can't even defend their police precincts from rioters and looters. How are they going to enforce his imaginary law?

ITEM 22: They removed a Jeff Davis statue from the Kentucky capitol and discovered a newspaper under it from 1936.

The main headline said "Azana moves on to Barcelona."

The story was the latest update on the Spanish Civil War. The antifas were battling actual fascists. The fascists would win. Manuel Azaña Díaz was the president of the republic. Franco would replace him in 1939, serving until his death on November 20, 1975.

Franco is still dead.

As is the lesson of the Spanish Civil War.
