June is Accordion Appreciation Month. The Green Hornet hardest hit.
ITEM 1: Bloomberg News reported, "The pandemic has devastated the diamond world. Jewelry stores closed their doors, India’s cutting and polishing artisans were forced to stay home and De Beers had to cancel its March sale because buyers couldn’t travel to view the merchandise.
"De Beers and Alrosa have moved to defend their market. The miners refused to cut prices, instead allowing buyers unprecedented freedom to renege on contracts to buy stones. They’ve also reduced production in an effort to control stock levels.
"Yet the diamonds keep piling up. The five biggest producers are probably sitting on excess inventories worth about $3.5 billion, according to Gemdax, a specialist advisory firm. The figure could reach $4.5 billion by the end of the year, or about one-third of annual rough-diamond production."
Jewelers may make out like bandits if the drop in demand leads to a drop in price, but the diamond mines may be able to hold out till the crisis passes.
Meanwhile, single people can do their part by getting engaged.
I am so romantic.
ITEM 2: John Hinderaker of Power Line reported, "The headline: 'Biden Warns Trump Will ‘Steal This Election,’ Predicts Military May Have To Remove Trump From White House.'"
Hinderaker is having none of this.
He wrote, "This is sheer fantasy. It is ridiculous to assert that President Trump may refuse to vacate the White House if he loses November’s election, and until now, no presidential candidate of either party would have floated such a scurrilous suggestion. But for the Democrats, there are no longer any boundaries. They are desperate for power and will devastate our country and destroy our democracy to get it."
What's President Trump going to do? Plant FBI spies in the Biden campaign? Wiretap him? Try to entrap Biden's people into fake perjury charges?
Donald John Trump is not Barack Hussein Obama.
There.
I said it.
Hussein.
I am not afraid to tell that truth anymore.
ITEM 3: Ross Douthat of the New York Times reported, "The force transforming Western liberalism has many hashtags, many slogans, many admiring and pejorative descriptions, but no single name that everyone can recognize as a singular description of the thing itself. #MeToo and Black Lives Matter, social justice and intersectionality, anti-racism and the great awokening. Cultural Marxism and SJWs and identity politics. Political correctness, of course, and more obscurely left modernism and hyper-liberalism. Like the blind men feeling different portions of the elephant, the words all capture something, but the form of the animal remains a bit fuzzy, with a generally familiar shape but tusks and trunks where you don’t necessarily expect them."
By many names, Douthat means euphemisms.
The euphemisms reflect all the various tactics they deploy show desperation. Each fails because the masses are not suicidal.
The fact is the communists in America are on the run because Donald Trump (like Ronald Reagan) has shown the masses that capitalism works for them. Three numbers and a letter say it all: 401-k.
Covid-19 cannot stop capitalism, nor can black nationalism.
ITEM 4: Sundance reported, "Things are slowly devolving into violent confrontation in the nation of CHAZ Seattle. However, the violence is not with law enforcement; the violence is internal as Antifa factions within the occupy movement begin doing what they are famous for, being violent.
"An openly Christian man walks into the occupied zone within Seattle, the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone or CHAZ, to share the message of Jesus Christ. The Antifa elements immediately confronted the man, threw him to the ground and began choking him."
Fence it off. Make them stay there. Watch them devour their own.
I feel sorry for the Christian but even if he were Daniel, these lions would eat him.
ITEM 5: The Daily Mail reported, "A Chinese military officer has been arrested and charged with visa fraud while allegedly trying to steal US medical research to take back to Beijing, according to court records. Xin Wang, a scientific researcher and high-ranking military officer with China's People's Liberation Army (PLA), was detained at LA International Airport Sunday when he tried to board a flight to Tianjin, China, with stolen university research materials."
Hello?
Who thought letting Red Chinese military officials into our country was a good idea?
Revoke all student visas with Red China immediately if not sooner.
Odd that top universities have a maximum of Asian-Americans they will enroll and hire, but have no problem with Asian-Red Chinese students. Money talks and intelligent students walk because they don't want the other students shown to be unworthy of Harvard, et cetera.
ITEM 6: This next piece is genius, which is journalese for I totally agree with it.
John Hinderaker wrote, "The Democratic Party’s coordinated effort to stir up racial hatred and bully the rest of us into giving them back the White House under the guise of anti-racism can only be seen as the most recent stage of the Democrats’ attempt to nullify the 2016 election."
He sees it as a last desperate gambit. Like I said, genius.
ITEM 7: Reuters reported, "The U.S. embassy in Seoul draped a huge Black Lives Matter banner on its mission building and tweeted a picture of it in support of an anti-racism campaign across America."
Recall the entire embassy staff for this sedition.
How dare they blaspheme America overseas as a racist country! We are the least racist country in the world. We outlawed racism in 1964. We have systemic anti-racism.
The American embassy is now the most anti-American spot in the Republic of Korea.
ITEM 8: The New York Times reported, "A Reckoning at Condé Nast. 'It’s hard to be a person of color at this company,' a staff member said. In response to an uprising, Anna Wintour and the chief executive, Roger Lynch, offered apologies."
The piece said, "Sohla El-Waylly, who was a regular guest on the show, said her addition to Gourmet Makes had been cynically motivated. 'They just want me there to play the part to make it look like they have people of color on staff,' she said.
"She said she was not paid for her appearances, as her white counterparts were. Condé Nast disputed that and said Ms. El-Waylly’s salary covered her video appearances."
I did not say America had no racism, but most of it is confined to the elitists in the media.
ITEM 9: The Associated Press reported, "Mayfield 'absolutely' will kneel during national anthem."
I am done with Baker Mayfield. He is a coward.
If the NFL cannot respect the national anthem, then ban them from playing it.
ITEM 10: Jim Treacher reported, "Trayvon's Mom, Sybrina Fulton: 'I Think We Need More Police.'"
This is part of her campaign to be elected to the District 1 seat of the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners.
George Zimmerman vindicated.
ITEM 11: Lest we forget.
Antifa tried to kill 9 Republican congressmen that day.Three years ago today brave law enforcement officers saved my life when my colleagues and I were attacked on the baseball field.— Steve Scalise (@SteveScalise) June 14, 2020
Important to remember: Every day police officers risk their lives to serve and protect communities across America.
We can’t turn our backs on them. pic.twitter.com/WH4Q2TkiBj
ITEM 12: Fox reported, "Former CNN anchor Soledad O'Brien made stunning claims on Saturday that a network exec once told her she could only have the right kind of black guests on her show.
"Reacting to the controversy that has rocked ABC News over the weekend, O'Brien reflected on her time at CNN and indicated that a network executive discouraged her to sit down with black radio host Roland Martin.
"'This is an interesting read. Reminds me of the CNN exec who told me: 'Roland Martin isn’t the ‘right kind of’ Black person.' She didn’t want me to book him on my show. L,' O'Brien tweeted."
CNN may be the last bastion of racism in Atlanta.
ITEM 13: Fox reported, "Los Angeles Times executive editor Norman Pearlstine claimed that using the word looting in relation to the unrest that has taken place during the George Floyd protests has a 'racist connotation.'"
Another elitist white man who thinks only black people loot.
ITEM 14: General Sherman approves the following tweet.
— Eoin Higgins (@EoinHiggins_) June 14, 2020Now we know why they banned Gone With The Wind. They are doing a remake set in the 21st century.
ITEM 15: United Press International reported, "U.S. officials on Sunday encouraged the use of face coverings and observing social distancing procedures as some expressed concern about potential corona virus spread during a rally for President Donald Trump scheduled to take place on Saturday.
"Trump is set to hold his first rally since the onset of shutdowns to prevent the spread of covid-19 in March at the Bank of Oklahoma Center in Tulsa, Okla., on Saturday.
"The Bank of Oklahoma has a capacity of 20,000 people but Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale tweeted Sunday that 800,000 people have signed up to attend the event. Attendees who signed up to attend were required to sign a waiver stating the Trump campaign is not liable if they become ill."
Health bullies.
They are too scared to go after the rioters and looters but they will go after peaceful, law-abiding citizens who want to rally.
Those "U.S. officials" stink. The right to peacefully assemble is guaranteed in the Constitution.
ITEM 16: Biden did not mention Flag Day in his tweets.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 14, 2020Biden also did not acknowledge the Army's Birthday, also on Sunday. President Trump did.
But some Democrats did remember one June 14 event.
ITEM 17: The New York Post reported, "Activists in Britain are demanding the removal of a statue of Mahatma Gandhi in the city of Leicester. A petition to remove the Indian independence leader, which calls him out for 'well-documented anti-black racism,' has nearly 5,000 signatures, the BBC reported.
"Though he is most remembered for leading his people in nonviolent resistance against British colonialism, Gandhi also held publicly critical opinions of black Africans during his stint living in South Africa in the late 19th century."
These same fools someday will tear down a statue to George Floyd.
ITEM 18: Willliam Jacobson of Legal Insurrection reported, "There is an effort underway to get me fired at Cornell Law School, where I’ve worked since November 2007, or if not fired, at least denounced publicly by the school.
"Ever since I started Legal Insurrection in October 2008, it’s been an awkward relationship given the overwhelmingly liberal faculty and atmosphere. Living as a conservative on a liberal campus is like being the mouse waiting for the cat to pounce."
They are relentless and persistent. Every move you make, every breath you take, they'll be watching you.
I wish him luck.
But the worst thing that happens is you retire and blog.
ITEM 19: Fox reported, "Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., once again proved her fundraising prowess by raising $2.4 million in just two months as she kicks up her campaign operation before her June 23 primary election, according to federal campaign finance reports she filed this week.
"Her April and May cash haul brings the total raised for her reelection bid to more than $10.5 million, making the freshman rep among the best fundraisers for the Democrats, along with House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., federal elections records show."
She's the soul of the soulless Democrat Party.
Schiff's money likely comes from all those NSA and CIA guys he provides cover for.
ITEM 20: Fredo's dumber brother is stuck in April.
Local governments can't even defend their police precincts from rioters and looters. How are they going to enforce his imaginary law?We have received 25,000 complaints of reopening violations.— Andrew Cuomo (@NYGovCuomo) June 14, 2020
Bars or restaurants that violate the law can lose their liquor license.
People with open containers in the street can be fined.
Police & protesters not wearing masks can be fined.
Local gov't must enforce the law.
ITEM 21: A president's son calls for suing a federal agency.
The president agrees and retweets it.RT if you want to see General Flynn sue the FBI and it’s corrupt actors for all they’re worth and at the same time bring to light all the other information they’re still hiding from the public!— Donald Trump Jr. (@DonaldJTrumpJr) May 8, 2020
ITEM 22: They removed a Jeff Davis statue from the Kentucky capitol and discovered a newspaper under it from 1936.
The main headline said "Azana moves on to Barcelona."
The story was the latest update on the Spanish Civil War. The antifas were battling actual fascists. The fascists would win. Manuel Azaña Díaz was the president of the republic. Franco would replace him in 1939, serving until his death on November 20, 1975.
Franco is still dead.
As is the lesson of the Spanish Civil War.
FINALLY, engineers figure things out.
Plus their cars usually rock.If it seems as if every one of our trusted institutions recently lost all credibility, that is an illusion. They didn’t suddenly get worse. You got smarter. Trump did that to you. It wasn’t planned. But it was predicted.— Scott Adams (@ScottAdamsSays) June 14, 2020
UPDATE: Adams is an economist by education.
ITEM 4
ReplyDeleteNo need to fly to africa any more. next will be like the Rwanda Genocide between the black tribes. BTW there was never a black Santa Claus .
Nor did black pharaohs build the Egyptian pyramids.
DeleteITEM 6
ReplyDeleteI see the next Gambit as the hoax of WHITES lynching blacks. In fact that has already started with 2 suicides being called to investigate as what I assume to be another play like the Jussie Smollett hoax.
ITEM 20
ReplyDeleteEasy to fix. Throw out all of the incumbents and then strict term limits thereafter unless you like all the corruption.
My modest proposal, they may run for re-election but if they lose they are put to death.
DeleteJames Hodgkinson was Antifa? I knew he was a Bernie Bro.
ReplyDeleteSame same.
Delete“You got smarter.”
ReplyDeleteCredit where credit is due. Thank you, Big D.
Item 5
ReplyDeleteWho thought letting Red Chinese military officials into our country was a good idea?
The Clintons
9 - football is the ultimate team sport. White players, quarterbacks in particular, have to go along with the mob. Thankfully, Eli Manning retired. The NFL is swirling the drain.
ReplyDelete15 & 20 - one benefit of the rioters and blm protesters. They can’t put the genie back in the bottle.
800,000!!!!!!! MAGA.
No one has to go along with a Mob. That is totally irrational thinking. You have just written a self defeating comment.
ReplyDeleteMissed blocks, dropped passes, etc. If the QB loses the team, the team is toast.
DeleteAsk yourself, why did WHITES become minority players in all sports except Ice Hockey?
DeleteAn old Tank Macnamara cartoon, "long count, Hike on three, hand off to the running back on four, all linemen trip and fall on five."
Delete#5 -- A. Every university in the us. There are financial incentives for them to enroll foreign students, and diversity. Tough luck white kid. National security threat? You must have a tinfoil hat
ReplyDeleteSeattle is the prime example of Diversity. I like the saying if you don't like diversity you don't have to have diversity. It only ever results in what you are seeing now and it has always been that way everywhere. Study history.
Delete#11 - Watching Paul Ryan smirking behind Trump makes me ill!
ReplyDeleteITEM 2: "Donald John Trump is not Barack Hussein Obama.
ReplyDeleteThere.
I said it.
Hussein.
I am not afraid to tell that truth anymore."
Felt good, didn't it? Printing the truth always does.
FLOlson
Hussein is a Great example of diversity. It is a mental illness to believe you need to be ashamed of being who you are but you can see he is a great example of bringing WHITES down to his level. Can only happen if you also have a mental illness.
DeleteBarry is indeed a great example if diversity, 7/16 Arab, 1/16 black, half white and 100% stoopid.
DeleteBTW, Do you realize that the Great Roman Empire was started as a Republic? Same as what the diversity politics is presently trying to take down. Real History is very important.
ReplyDeleteThe U.S. is a Republic not a Democracy. Forget the deliberate mixing up of the words. If you want to know the difference look them up.
Delete13 - classic projection of dog whistles: clearly the editor of the LA Times is the dog.
ReplyDelete7) Served in Korea and stationed in Seoul for three years. The general perception is that Koreans in general are Xenophobic. I observed it many times and that's hard since they hide their feelings very well, they're actions... not so much. I have great respect for the Korean people and have many friends there but they are very wary of black people. They are probably wary of us too after the Obama years....
ReplyDeleteKoreans also have a much higher median I.Q. than WHITES and blacks so they know the score.
DeleteItem #9 Better add college football to the list of thing you used to watch too.
ReplyDeleteWoke Texas Football Players Demand School Rename Stadium, Eliminate ‘Eyes of Texas’

Another take...
UT-Austin football players demand school rename buildings named after racist figures, donate to Black Lives Matter
https://www.texastribune.org/2020/06/12/ut-austin-football-players-buildings-racism/
All the things they're demanding be changed were in place before they signed to play at TX. If they were bothered by it all why did they accept a scholarship and agree to play there? They could have walked on at Grambling.
Item #14 A classic Surber-ism about Gone With the Wind remake.
Item #20 By "complaints" I think Cuomo meant snitches.
The link is a Psyop, you have been warned.
ReplyDelete9. just ban them all!
ReplyDelete15. Is that only if you are looting?
16. Resonates as much as "happy birthday to a future president (me)"
#9 and elsewhere...Here's some heresy: I'd like to see all the "professional" sports taken down. There was a time when sports were scrappy, unadorned, light ...considered even by the participants as sort of silly indulgences by adults of a children's exercise. The germ exercise being the game of Tag. The "professionalism" which grew slowly then rapidly, took out the fun, silliness and gave us all sorts of misplaced, misconstrued seriousness. Yeah, let it all be taken down and started over...
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine being an NFL coach? Must be like herding cats. "Please, please, please don't shoot up a bar or rape an underage girl this week! We need you healthy and ready to go on Sunday." It's surreal that you have to remind multi-millionaires not to commit felonies in their free time. But, that's today's NFL. It's also today's Washington, DC. - Gary B
DeleteIt all ended when they got unions and agents. It stopped being about fun and started being about money.
DeleteGlad you get it too! Yeh, if I was again running a company I would be hiring criminals because it is just the right thing to do. Diversity over profits how the Western nations were built. Also, don't forget who we are told to remember who built the WHITE House.
DeleteA small white building in the middle of Washington DC. It's actually public housing for the Citizens First Servant.
Delete4: It took a while, but it did the same to Robespierre, Beria, and countless others.
ReplyDelete10: Looks like the brains in the family stopped with her.
14: I hope they make sure Olivia sees a doctor this time.
16: You can see why he was such a ladies man in his youth. Rich or broke, he never had to grab any woman by the kitty-cat.
The 'silent majority' has become the 'silenced majority.' Having seen that an opinion that it might be proper to respect the flag or national anthem can ruin a person's life, or the opinion of a Senator that violent demonstrations might call for forceful means to counter them is unacceptable, it is now clear that our guarantee of freedom of speech is meaningless. This results in the probability that in November the vote will not reflect the differences between Democrats and Republicans, liberals and conservatives, but more likely between those who wish to preserve the right to disagree and those who insist on unanimity of opinion. Dislike Trump if you will, but you are putting a powerful tool at his disposition. Better four more years of an unpalatable regime and not a permanent removal of ones right to dissent.
ReplyDeleteYou've got IT Too!!!
DeleteA must-read as always! My take on today's news is that the Democrats are falling off the tiger. http://ktcatspost.blogspot.com/2020/06/the-democrats-are-falling-off-tiger.html
ReplyDeleteBetter name is Vermin but hey everyone has an opinion except if you think BLM is a real dangerous con game.
ReplyDeleteAnother lesson of the Spanish Civil War is that the middle class in Spain was not totally in support of the government because the liberal government could not or would not control the unrest and lawlessness sweeping the country. Add to that the outside 'help' provided by Russia with their emphasis on 'political correctness' to the detriment of the war effort. Read Orwell-this is what transformed him from a revolutionary to the foremost critic of this type of totalitarianism.
ReplyDelete'A Homage to Catalonia'
DeleteOrwell in ignorance joined a very far left faction that was bound for the front, not knowing that they were being targeted for liquidation by the more 'mainstream' Soviet-backed authorities in Barcelona.

I would like to introduce you to a Psychological Theory that seems to make great sense if you study what is going on. It is called the r/K selection Theory. Read up on it as it explains really well the 2 types of individuals there are. Deals with that trade off between quantity and quality of offspring.
ReplyDeleteRushton's book Race, Evolution, and Behavior (1995) uses r/K selection theory to explain how East Asians consistently average high, blacks low, and whites in the middle on an evolutionary scale of characteristics indicative of nurturing behavior.
DeleteItem 3: If only I could say with confidence that John Hinderaker has seen the light at last! Unfortunately he's still something of a NeverTrumper.
ReplyDeleteI kinda doubt Sherman would approve. If anything, he's spinning supersonically in his grave knowing that he, Grant and Sheridan played a decisive role in setting the foundation for the mess we have now. That's the result of Lincoln's war, and what the men you call traitors were fighting against.
ReplyDeleteThey were traitors just as they were Democrats. And the South was not a model of American liberty. It was increasingly an aristocratic stratified society of 'nobles', plebes and slaves.
DeleteThe foundation for the mess we have now was the ironically named Democratic Party was allowed to persist after trying to destroy the country. Almost all of today's domestic problems tie back to the Democrats insatiable thirst for power at any cost.
9. Can't ban them from playing it. Can turn it off though. Of course for me to turn it off I would have to turn it on first... Too high a price.
ReplyDelete12. Not racism. Ideologues. They don't interview the wrong type of whites either. Repeat after me:
Democratic Party Propagandists of the Press. DPPP.
Dippies for short.
22. The other parallell? The "antifas" were the Communists.
Finally. Scott Adams is a business major. Dilbert is an engineer.
a last desperate gambit.
ReplyDeleteHe's an optimist. There will be at least one more before November and if Trump is re-elected, the REAL war will start.
Sorry, but I don't have the physique to do on line porn camming. Butt congratulations on getting people to pony up money to watch you stick strange objects in your rectum.
