Stern delivers the shock rock's final shock

After piling up a net worth of $650 million, Howard Stern dumped on his fans today for voting for Donald John Trump for president, a man who graced Stern's show with 35 interviews after Stern took a shot on Sirius radio panning out.

Matt Drudge meanwhile apparently sold his Drudge Report for far less, turning the once conservative site into a bastion for blasting President Donald John Trump. With Drudge, it was all about the Benjamins.

There are alternatives to him.

Drudge is just the latest in a string of nobodies we thought were somebodies who under President Trump have revealed their true elitist, liberal inner selves. Teacher says every time a Weekly Standard folds, a devil loses its horns.

But Drudge gave valuable real estate to Stern today. Drudge has excellent news sense. Stern just committed career suicide. He didn't need Susan Rice to unmask him. He did it all by his self. He ranted today about his audience. Call it the shock jock's final shock.

The 66-year-old said, "I don’t hate Donald. I hate you for voting for him, for not having intelligence. For not being able to see what’s going on with the corona virus, for not being able to see what the Justice Department is doing. I hate you, I don’t want you here."

And he said, "I do think it would be extremely patriotic of Donald to say, 'I’m in over my head and I don’t want to be president anymore.'"

And he said, "The people who are voting for Trump ... he wouldn’t even let them in a f---ing hotel. He’d be disgusted by them. Go to Mar-a-Lago, see if there’s any people who look like you. I’m talking to you in the audience."

Visit Stern's $52 million oceanfront mansion at 601 N. County Road in Southhampton. Tell me if you see anyone who looks like you.

He owns a penthouse in Manhattan and an estate in Florida as well.

It is his money, and it is his business.

But today he tore away what was left of the mask he wore for 40 years as a shock jock. You don't need a degree in psychology to understand the projection onto President Trump by Stern. This is not a surprise nor does it have meaning. Stern endorsed Hillary 4 years ago, and Donald Trump won anyway.

Breitbart News reminded readers in its write-up of the final shock, "In January 2019, Stern ridiculed the president’s plans to construct a U.S.-Mexico border wall, referring to it as a political stunt to whip up support from morons.

"'You’re talking about building a massive wall across this country on the southern border. It’s a tremendous amount of property and a tremendous amount of area to cover,' said Stern. 'You’re not going to get a whole wall for $5 billion. If you really want a wall, it’s probably going to cost you some trillions of dollars.'

"'I would love to see Donald come on last night and go, ‘F*** this, I’m not going to bullshit you guys. I want $20 billion,' he added."

***

The wall is going up.

The shock jock's 40-year facade is coming down. He just told his audience that he hates them. The self-loathing is evident. His remorse is he made it but will never be seen as anything more than a shock jock, a relic of New York radio in the 1980s

Oh, he will still be on the radio. He owns too much of Sirius XM to be dismissed. One or two channels out of 100 (or whatever it is) doesn't need many listeners. Who knows, maybe this will expand his audience. I am no broadcast expert.

But I do know an end when I see it. He's reached his.

  1. He's been a pissant for a very long time. Before he went to New York, he got fired from a long list of radio stations. Even in DC, where he was just before NYC, he got fired for insulting his audience. Frankly, when he is gone, good riddance to bad rubbish.

    1. We can't let our children watch TV, without locking out many channels and shows on the others and radio has no provisions to lock out stations. My Kids are grown, and selecting, what is not on-the-air pornography not a problem with Folks at Church but is a real problem in society at large. What happened to Broadcasting Standards? Their is no Right to broadcast smut or pornography!

  2. I guess he is like many other successful phony’s. Except he just told the truth about his disgust for his listeners.

Never listened to him. Never will.

  4. Stern's shtick was being a loudmouthed obnoxious asshole who thought he was better than everybody else and profanely told them so and at nauseating length. If I had ever been on his show one or both of us would have ended up in the hospital or worse.

He's just jealous as hell that Trump stole his thunder by speaking truth to power, although in a much nicer and more intelligent way.

    1. Never listened to him. I was an 'Imus in the Morning' guy who Stern shamelessly copied. Imus got in PC trouble a few years ago but made it back and remade himself into a skilled political interviewer. Mean and crotchety but he was the best and donated a lot to charities. RIP, I-Man!

  6. They used to say that people who liked Stern listened to him for 15 minutes. People who hated him listened for 30 minutes. This might not move the needle much.

  7. And in other news, Barry Soetoro says he no longer supports President Trump's policies. Talk about having a bad week......

  8. Ha ha ha! Stern is a tool. Famous for being shocking and sickly perverted on the radio...he's offering his intellectual opinions to America!? Pffft! Drop him in the kuckoo basket with DeNiro and Baldwin and Teigen and the other celebrity degenerates.

  9. He's angry cause no matter how many pills he takes, his limp, wrinkled pecker can get stiff no more - he's a hideous big nosed turd from New Yawk - and nobody finds him entertaining or worth listening to. Bye Bye Stern you pissant. He knows it's almost over for Sirus/XM - hell, nobody commutes right now, so, no listeners..lmao

  11. Stern appeals to the lowest in people. His toilet humor and fixation with strippers, hookers and his foul mouth are just the act to attract the dark personality that most people want to suppress. He like all the show biz leftists lives in a make believe world where he can indulge his disscusting low life nature and sell it as entertainment. It must be nice to have that kind of money, but it does not buy the kind of respect and success that President Trump has gained. That is the true reason for Sterns hostility to the President.

  13. Never liked this jerk. He often demoralized idiots who came on his show. They would let him and he knew this and took advantage. Utter slug.

  18. I used to listen to Stern back in the 80's. Hey, he was saying shit like the rest of us truckers but on the air. Then the radio people that put his show on went on strike and he crossed the picket line. He could have made their strike easier but he fucked them. I haven't listened to him since. Just another typical Hollywood liberal.
