Highlights of the News



Donald John Trump is still our president.

ITEM 1: President Trump said, "The hardest thing I have to do, by far, much harder than the witch hunt, is signing letters to parents of soldiers that have been killed. And it’s not only that — in areas where there’s not a lot of upside, if there’s any upside at all, and in many cases, it’s only downside.

"And especially when that solider was killed in a Blue-on-Green attack. You know what that is, right? That’s where a solider being trained or whatever turns his gun on an American solider. 'Here, son. Take your gun. You know how to use it.' And he takes the gun and he turns it. And he shoots one — we have many of them in Afghanistan — in particular, in Afghanistan.

"The hardest thing I have to do is signing those letters. That’s the hardest thing I have to do. And each letter is different. We make each letter different. And last week, I signed five of them for Afghanistan; one in Iraq; one in Syria, from two weeks ago. And sometimes I call the parents. Sometimes I see the parents. I go to Dover, when I can, but it’s — it’s so devastating for the parents that — you know. It’s so devastating when they bring that boy or young woman out of the back of those big, powerful planes in a coffin, and the parents are there."

The neocons say we are abandoning the Kurds. We're not. But where was their concern about abandoning our soldiers in Syria to die for a cause that is not ours?

"That’s rich. The aid in question is lethal military assistance that the Obama-Biden administration refused to give Ukraine."

Obama was Putin's Puppet.

ITEM 4: The Washington Examiner reported, "The acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement says DNA testing this year helped detect more than 1,000 fake families crossing the southern border."

I wonder how many children were saved from pedophiles by ICE.

Border patrollers are brave men and women, mostly Hispanic.

ITEM 5: President Donald Trump tweeted, "We defeated 100% of the ISIS Caliphate and no longer have any troops in the area under attack by Turkey, in Syria. We did our job perfectly! Now Turkey is attacking the Kurds, who have been fighting each other for 200 years.

"We have one of three choices: Send in thousands of troops and win militarily, hit Turkey very hard Financially and with Sanctions, or mediate a deal between Turkey and the Kurds!"

Blessed are the peacemakers.

It rose 8,000 points because we elected Donald Trump president.

ITEM 9: Sebastian Gorka asked the president, "As a child of parents who escaped Communism, I was very moved when you told Congress that America would never be a socialist country. Did you ever think that any American president would have to say such a thing to Congress?"

The president replied, "No, I never did. I never thought it would be part of the dialogue. I am happy to report that I don’t think that it will be lasting very long. Our country is doing better than it has ever done economically, with the stock market and 401Ks — and I’m not just talking about people of wealth, I’m talking about people who haven’t had a job in years and now have jobs. We have the greatest number of jobs that we’ve ever had, almost 160 million, the stock market today just hit another all-time high — all three markets — and people are great. So I think that it would be very surprising to me if that debate carries forward much longer. I hope it won’t, but it could very well be a big dialogue, a big part of the election, but we’re talking about not so very far away. Can you imagine that Sebastian, like seventeen months? Can you imagine that? Time flies!"

Hmm. Maybe Kurds should defend themselves instead of relying on us to do the dying.

ITEM 11: The Washington Examiner reported, "The 2020 Democratic candidate with whom the CIA whistleblower had a professional tie is Joe Biden, according to intelligence officers and former White House officials.

"Lawyers for the whistle blower said he had worked only 'in the executive branch.' The Washington Examiner has established that he is a career CIA analyst who was detailed to the National Security Council at the White House and has since left. On Sept. 26, the New York Times reported that he was a CIA officer. On Oct. 4, the newspaper added that he 'was detailed to the National Security Council at one point.'"

And yet this scandal is bringing Quid Pro Joe down, not President Trump. Maybe that was the target all along.

ITEM 12: Ace of Spades reported, "New York Times Reporter Reveals That James Comey Had a Spy In Loretta Lynch's Office, and Knew That She Had Declared She Would Not Permit the Clinton Email Scandal to Go Very Far."

ITEM 13: Info Wars reported, "While asking a question during a press conference in Japan, CNN’s Christina Macfarlane was abruptly cut off by an NBA spokeswoman after asking Houston Rockets stars James Harden and Russell Westbrook what they thought about freedom of expression in light of this week’s controversy over a now-deleted pro-Hong Kong tweet made by general manager Daryl Morey.

"'The NBA has always been a league that prides itself on its players and coaches being able to speak out openly about political and social affairs. I just wonder after the events of this week, and the fallout we’ve seen, whether you would both feel differently about speaking out in that way in the future?' Mcfarlane asked – only to be promptly intercepted by an NBA staffer who insisted on 'basketball questions only.'"

Tell you what, send all the NBA teams to Red China -- and leave them there.

ITEM 14: The New York Times alleged, "Victoria’s Secret is laying off about 15 percent of the brand’s employees at its Columbus, Ohio, headquarters as the beleaguered lingerie chain struggles to reshape its image and the chief executive of its parent company remains under scrutiny for his ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

"The cuts, which took place on Wednesday and Thursday, involved about 50 people and range from senior leaders to junior staff, according to three people with knowledge of the situation who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly. The timing of the layoffs was unusual in the retail industry just before the key holiday season."

DNC seems to be having the same problem.

ITEM 17: The Washington Post reported, "Michael McKinley, a career diplomat and senior adviser to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, has resigned his position amid rising dissatisfaction and plummeting morale inside the State Department over what is seen as Pompeo's failure to support personnel ensnared in the Ukraine controversy."

Hillary left an ambassador to die in Benghazi, he stayed and morale was fine.

Hillary lost 33,000 emails with classified materials, he stayed and morale was fine.

But President Trump is making progress on ending wars and making trade deals, and McKinley bails and morale falls.

Just who the hell were McKinley and all these crestfallen careerists working for?
