How to beat Biden: quote him

Joe Biden on Saturday made what Washington reporters politely call His Latest Gaffe.

Bloomberg News reported, "Biden told reporters in Iowa on Saturday that 'those kids in Parkland came up to see me when I was vice president.' But when they visited Capitol Hill to talk with members of Congress, lawmakers were 'basically cowering, not wanting to see them. They did not want to face it on camera.'"

The Parkland shooting came more than a year after he left office.

This Latest Gaffe came right as he was apologizing for his previous Latest Gaffe.

That one was on Thursday, when he told a group of Asian and Hispanic voters in Iowa, "Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids."

On Saturday, he said he misspoke. He said, "I don't think anybody thinks I meant anything other than what I said I meant."

He is what he is.

An idiot.

This is not old age catching up with him. The man has said idiotic things throughout his long career as a senator and vice president.

In May 2009, he gave a gaffe-tastic commencement speech at Wake Forest. My favorite line was "I believe so strongly, as you may recall when I was here in October, not in you particularly but your generation, that I don't have a single doubt in my mind we're on the cusp not only of a new century but a new day for this country and the world."

In September 2014, Becket Adams listed his favorite Biden gaffes. I'll post three of them.

Biden said, "I've had a great relationship. In Delaware, the largest growth in population is Indian-Americans moving from India. You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I'm not joking."

He told a largely African-American crowd Republicans "are going to put y'all back in chains."

Then there was his admonition to state senator Chuck Graham who remained seated at a rally. Biden said, "Stand up Chuck, let 'em see you!"

A car accident as a teenager left Chuck wheelchair-bound.

In March, Jess Fields compiled his own list of Biden's idiocies.

Biden said, "When the stock market crashed, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, 'Look, here's what happened.'"

And he said of Ireland's prime minister, "His mom lived in Long Island for 10 years or so. God rest her soul. And — although, she's — wait — your mom's still — your mom's still alive? Your dad passed? God bless her soul."

To a crowd of Turkish-American and Azerbaijani-American Obama donors, he said, "I guess what I'm trying to say without boring you too long at breakfast — and you all look dull as hell, I might add. The dullest audience I have ever spoken to. Just sitting there, staring at me. Pretend you like me!"

Biden is a Democrat in Washington who never ran afoul of the press. Most of the reporters like him and let his idiocies slide. Indeed, the as-smart-as-white-kids quote was first reported by the Republican team that is trailing him, not the press.

Add to it his history of plagiarism and you have a man who may not be too bright.

Many Democrats believe Biden is the only man who can defeat President Donald John Trump in 2020. If true, look for a 40-state re-election sweep. All President Trump will need to do is quote the man.

And he is.

    1. Yes, precisely. That's how Trump will get the press to jump on this.

He does it all the time: forces the press to reflexively correct him so that they will report something that they'd otherwise ignore. Brilliant.

  4. Joe Biden is evidence of total desperation of the donkeycrat party.

he represents their "brain dead heaver"
faction, with a hat tip to Orel Hershieser.

    and he represents them well.

  5. If Biden isn't plagiarizing someone he is lying. He's an idiot of the first order.

  6. Wokey Joe says there are at least three genders but he's unable to name them. In fairness, though, he's only had 77 years to figure it out.

  7. A think tank China expert said last night on Fox Business that the Chinese are counting on Biden to win. They used the same polling techniques that allowed them to predict Trump's own victory, he said. In addition the Chinese plan to get actively involved in the election by refusing to buy agricultural products to damage Trump in the heartland. Who can doubt there will be other methods.
Biden may or may not be nominated but this election will be especially nasty and I believe violent. Election corruption will be the norm everywhere a Trump win is doubtful.
The press believes a victorious Trump will seal their fate as worthless to the body politic. Much lost money there.
Outrageous lies, like those told in the past by scumballs like Reid and now Warren, CNN and others will be all that is available to consume in major media..Indeed, Resistance by continuous lie has already been endorsed by the font of all media virtue, the NYT,as Goodwin said today.
Quoting Biden if he is the fool they put forth, or quoting any of them at all, will be effective, but Trump will have a hard time in any event.
Last time Clinton's sex created an emotional issue, shadowing her greed and that of big dollar supporters.
This time the game will be for sumple survival itself. It will display selfishness on a scale never before imagined.
    Long may he reign.

  8. Obama was not that intelligent. Slightly above average on the intelligence scale, for sure, but not the genius that the fawning press made him out to be. Do you want me to translate corpse-man into Austrian? But Obama was smart enough to pick Biden as his VP. So that he actually would look like a genius in a relative comparison between the two.

    1. Biden was an insurance policy. Most wouldn't want to remove Obama from office if Biden was then president.
As for the Obamas, Barack's brilliance was reflected in the press as accurately as Michelle's beauty.
And Biden is the best hope for the Dems this go-around?

  10. Ol' Joe would definitely be a hands-on president, wouldn't he. Remember the phony poll that claimed all 21 or 41 or whatever number of Demoleftists running were all ahead of Donald Trump and Ol' Joe, our former vice plagiarist, was leading the pack ?

  11. "How to beat biden?"

    Vote for MAGA.

    Vote for Trump!!!

    No need to overthink this.

And no harm done in giving advice to the democrats which they will, being democrats, mock and reject.

Does not matter who the democrats nominate.

Votes for TRUMP negate them all.

Make it so even the democrat vote fraud machines won't be able to make any difference whatsoever.

See, easy peasy, IF you Vote for TRUMP!!!!!!

    Focus, people.
