Drudge goes all in for Warren

President Donald John Trump will pack SNHU Arena in Manchester, NH, tonight. It seats 12,000. A similar number likely will watch on jumbotrons outside.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Warren spoke to 1,100 people in NH in 2 events on Wednesday. Matt Drudge promoted her appearance as Trumpgret. I wonder how much Warren paid him.

She drew less than 6% of what President Trump will draw.

But the press is pumping her up because they see her as Hillary delivering Bernie's policies.

Mike Bloomberg's news service went all in on Warren. He hates President Trump almost as much as he hates guns.

Bloomberg News reported, "Warren Matches Sanders With N.H. Turnout."

In linking the piece, Drudge added the word Trumpgret.

But Donald Trump won without New Hampshire in 2016. Both Sanders and Warren hail from adjacent states, which boosts their numbers 10-fold.

This nonsense follows Wednesday's Drudge Up in which he tried to start a recession with charts on bond yields and the like with links to stories blaming the president.

Previous hysteria from Drudge included the president selling us out on guns.

I get that he is supposed to go with the flow of the news of the day. But increasingly he goes out of his way to push Fake News against the president. It is not that Trump supporters hate bad news. We hate good news (President Trump attracting 20,000 in NH) being reported as bad (OMG, Warren drew 700 people to an event).

  1. Drudge is drifting off the plantation. So is WSR. Cant understand why any conservative would encourage the Leftists.
Makes one appreciate Don's excellent reviews all the more.

    1. Not off the plantation, that's not what you mean. More likely mean off the rails.

Maybe the same thing that happened to Charles Johnson at Littlegreenfootballs back in the day?

    2. Johnson only moved to the right after 9/11. After that wore off he moved back to his roots on the left. - GOC

    4. Drudge has always been a flaming closeted liberal..... He's only in it for the money because he served a profitable niche that no one else was back in the day and sells advertising...... His affiliation was concreted when he came out against Judge Moore.... Haven't been to his site even once in years.....

  2. Drudge used to have some moderating links attached to the constant agitprop that, if followed, would at least reveal the lies underneath, but no more.
And if he named the links along with the headline( now only paper, wire etc) his pingback referral profits would probably evaporate.
Warren is favored by some NYC elites for reasons I can't explain other than personal Trump hatred. But if anyone ever listened to Bloomberg's whiny grating voice in person at close quarters, as I have on just one occasion, he would understand why he and Trump will never get along, why he supports Warren, and why He will never be President.

    1. I live in NYC in the heart of anti-Trump country. I try to keep my mouth shut and am entertained by some of the more ludicrous things that I hear. The reason they hate him is because he did more than defeat St. Hilary; he embarrassed her and them. I know that they were all getting ready for their $100,000 nights in the Lincoln Bedroom. The disappointment these NYers feel is palpable. I hear it all the time.

Back in 2016, I used to describe the election as the choice between a cash register at the White House entrance or a giant flashing neon "Trump White House" on the White House lawn. Those in NY who hate Trump would have preferred the cash register. It ain't Trump who is the threat to democracy.

    1. It's so tyical of that drudge site anymore. I used to frequent it daily...now that there is whatfinger and citizenfreepress It's rarely on my visit list. Seemed a year or two ago I oculd go to drudge and literally click on nothing...nothing newsworthy to read . It has become a waste of time to peruse due to drudge shifting loyalties and away from truths.

  11. Thanks for the article. For a few months I have been seeing a change in Drudge especially the headlines. So I have just stopped looking. I read other aggregators for more points of view. It is great to see your opinion affirms what I saw happening. Have also noted that many of the polls now have at least 10% more dems that reps.

  12. It's such a shame about it
I used to think that it would feel so good
But who's to blame about it
    So many creeps in Hollywood
I'm in this dumb motel near the Taco Bell
Without a hope in hell, I can't believe that I'm still around

  13. Matt Drudge? He's still around? I did not know that since I haven't clicked on his site in a long time. His app unilaterally disappeared from my iPhone too, which I appreciated.

  17. Drudge did you a service cause the inverted yield curve has predicted every single recession for 30 years running.

To claim he tried to spark a recession is typical of the hyperbole of the left. 5 key leading indicators are turning down fast: energy, chemicals, agriculture, autos, semiconductors.

Read 'em and weep boys. Trump is toast. He knows precisely what is happening. Since March he's been demanding the FED lower rates. In a boom?

Its unprecedented and shows how scared he is. Of course, the FED is the true culprit but the public doesn't know it. They have no idea what the FED does.

    2. The disloyal opposition is always hoping to punish America with a recession. But you've been wrong ever since you claimed Hillary would be the next President. The Fed had zero interest for the eight year reign of terror of Obama. Then they jack up rates 2-1/2% in the first two years of Trump's presidency. There's no doubt the Feb is part of the resistance.

    Shouldn't that be Trumpgret?

  19. Trump is toast? Pure fantasy. Inverted yield curve just shows that the 10-year versus 2-year went down because more people are buying long-term 10 years because of the strong economy. Therefore you don't have to increase yields on something everybody wants. And that's because of the strong dollar, they see great future potential in the US of a. Unbelievable, more people are buying 10 years because they think we have a strong economy so that everybody wants long-term returns so therefore yeah recession! Trump is going to toast all comers. And Hillary will declare sometime in November to save the party, get your popcorn now

    1. It's been stated here and other places many times in the last couple of days that money is pouring out of Europe, Japan and Hong Kong because of the negative yields on bonds there. They are buying tons of US Bonds since the pay more and the dollar is strong. The avalanche of foreign investment is pushing down the yield. Why offer a higher yield when you don't have to. I'm not sure if this scenario has ever happened before so some economist will have to do some actual research. Fake news isn't cutting it.

  22. Sundance: "The long-term borrowing rate for return on investment dropped momentarily lower than the short-term borrowing rate of return on investment because massive numbers of foreign investors were rushing to buy long-term U.S. bonds.

Wait… what? Yes, a ‘negative yield curve’ is what happens when everyone wants to buy bonds in your long-term economy.

There weren’t enough long-term bonds to fill the demand of those who wanted to purchase them. Ergo, the return rate of interest dropped because there was no need to have an incentive to sell them…. everyone wants them.
So the yield drops, because the U.S. doesn’t need to incentivize the sale… because everyone is lined up to buy them.

See how that works? Do lines of people wrapping all around the world trying to get to the U.S.A Bank and buy U.S. treasury bonds sound like the USA economy (underlying the bond) is weak or in trouble?

It’s OK to laugh out loud."

  26. Let's not forget Trump lost NH by only a few thousand votes. He was up against the dems, Sen Ayotte, the GOPe, and the Manchester Union. Ayotte lost re-election for being a #neverTrump. This time around, Trump will win NH handily. They have really been helped by his America first policies and have one of the lowest unemployment rates in America at 2.5%
